Portfolio · Myrtle Beach web design and software

Everything here is live, or about to be.

Two software products we own and run, and the local business sites we've built and look after. Real screenshots, real links, no mockups.

01 · Live event platformLive

VYVE

The live event operating system for bars, venues and resorts. Every phone in the room and every TV on the wall, in sync.

6modules in one platform
  • Six modules, one platform. DJOS for the booth, CrowdOS for the guests, DisplayOS for every TV, plus PlayOS party games, TriviaOS and TournamentOS.
  • Realtime that survives a packed bar. Guest phones and venue TVs stay in step the same second, and keep going when the venue Wi-Fi doesn't, because the night can't stop.
  • AI moderation with a human override. Every guest photo and shoutout is screened by our AI vision system before it reaches the TV, and the DJ can reverse any call in one tap.
02 · SaaS + mobile appsLive

Cue

The business behind the booth: a wedding DJ's inquiries, contracts, payments, planning and the live run of show, in one app.

Web + iPhonewith Android next
  • Inquiry to last song on one record. Pipeline, Smart Files, contracts, invoices and payments, the couple's planning, and the night's timeline all hang off the same event.
  • A live run of show. On the night, the timeline runs itself: cues, drift against the plan, and the next moment on the DJ's lock screen, Dynamic Island and Apple Watch.
  • Apps for both sides. A business app for the DJ and a separate app for the couple on iPhone, plus the web dashboard.
03 · Event company website + rentalsLive

Pierpoint Events

An AVL, DJ, photobooth and rentals company's site, rebuilt from scratch: rentals you can book and pay for online, a page for every venue they've worked, and readable in two seconds on one bar of signal.

2 sreadable on a weak phone signal, down from about 40
  • Designed and built from scratch. No page builder and no template.
  • Rentals you can book and pay for. 43 rentals with written descriptions and day rates, checkout by card or Cash App, and South Carolina and county sales tax worked out from the address, all through the payment account the business already had.
  • A page for every room they've played. 41 venue pages, each linking the venue's own site, six service-area pages and nine planning guides, written around what people search before they book.
04 · Local business websiteLive

Housecall Auto Mechanics

A mobile mechanic's site, moved off Wix without losing a link and sitting at the top of Google's local results for mobile mechanic in Myrtle Beach.

#1Google local result for mobile mechanic Myrtle Beach
  • A clean move off Wix. Nameservers moved, every email record copied exactly, the TLS certificate issued, and every old page address kept or redirected, so nothing Google had indexed broke.
  • Local SEO that does its job. LocalBusiness structured data, a clean sitemap, his existing Search Console verification carried over, and pages written around what people actually search for.
  • Built for a phone at the roadside. Call and text buttons that follow you down the page, plain prices, and a contact form that lands in his inbox.
05 · Online storeLive

Goose-Grip

A store for a patent-pending mechanic's work light. Every option prices itself, tax is worked out from the address, and each paid order reaches the shipping software and the owner's inbox on its own.

6products
  • Prices that follow the options. Power source, sleeve pattern, housing and hard case all feed one pricing function that the product page, the cart and the charge share, so the number never disagrees.
  • Sales tax worked out at the address. Tax is calculated from the shipping address and shown before the customer pays, only where the business is registered, and every sale is recorded for filing.
  • Orders that land where he works. Every paid order shows up in his shipping software with the items, options, address and weight, ready for a label, and an email lands in two inboxes with exactly what to build.
06 · Counseling websiteLive

Your Therapy Works

A counseling and clinical hypnotherapy practice in Myrtle Beach. Clients book a free first call from her real hours, and she runs inquiries, calls and her practice email from one private dashboard.

100accessibility in Google's mobile test
  • Book a first call online. The next open time sits on the first screen, pulled from the hours she sets herself.
  • Her own dashboard. Inquiries, booked calls, her hours and her email in one place, signed into with a six-digit code instead of a password.
  • Practice email that stays private. Every message to her practice address lands in the dashboard, searchable down to any word, and she answers from her own address with her signature attached.
07 · Photographer websiteLive

Rod Landa Photo + Film

A Myrtle Beach wedding photographer and videographer's site that looks like his own working materials: contact sheets, an edit bay for his films, and every price out in the open.

150frames on the contact sheets
  • A photographer's working materials. Every gallery is a contact sheet with frame numbers, a red grease pencil circles the keeper, and a negative strip runs across the home page.
  • An edit bay for his films. Four wedding films with real running times and a cut list of what each one includes.
  • Every price on the page. Six price lists with three packages each, hanging tags with the popular one circled, full comparison tables, add-ons and terms.
Before and after

What changed, in plain numbers.

Every site here replaced something. This is what each one started as and what it does now.

  1. Pierpoint Eventspierpointevents.com
    Before

A page builder template behind a black loading screen: about 40 seconds on one bar of signal, and a 7.3 MB home page.

    Now

Readable in 2 seconds on the same signal, a 0.67 MB home page, and all 160 old addresses still landing on the right page.

  2. Housecall Auto Mechanicshousecallautomechanics.com
    Before

    A Wix template from 2015.

    Now

The top result in Google’s local results for mobile mechanic in Myrtle Beach, with every old link and all nine email records carried over.

  3. Goose-Gripgoosegrip.com
    Before

A Wix store on a monthly plan, with Wix handling the tax and the order emails.

    Now

Its own store: every combination priced right at checkout, tax worked out from the address, and each paid order sent to shipping and his inbox on its own.

  4. Your Therapy Worksyourtherapyworks.com
    Before

Content hidden behind animations, and spam pages someone had slipped into the site.

    Now

100 for accessibility on Google’s mobile test, a page for each concern, and a first call anyone can book at 11 PM without talking to anyone first.

  5. Rod Landa Photo + Filmrodlanda.com
    Before

A Squarespace template that left couples asking what anything cost.

    Now

Six price lists with every number public, four wedding films to watch, and all 24 old links carried over.
