Oct 15, 2026In DragonFly BSD through 6.4.2 before 4bb22ff, the ARP input handlers arpintr() and in_arpinput() (sys/netinet/if_ether.c) do not validate the hardware address CVE-2026-110912 · Other software · DragonFlyBSD · reported by MITREHigh 7.1
In DragonFly BSD through 6.4.2 before 4bb22ff, the ARP input handlers arpintr() and in_arpinput() (sys/netinet/if_ether.c) do not validate the hardware address length (ar_hln) and protocol address length (ar_pln) fields of incoming ARP packets. in_arpreply() then uses these attacker-controlled values as memcpy lengths when copying from kernel buffers that are only 6 and 4 bytes long, resulting in an out-of-bounds read of kernel heap and stack memory that is copied into the ARP reply sent back to the requester. An unauthenticated attacker on the adjacent network can use a single crafted ARP request to disclose up to roughly 250 bytes of each type of kernel memory, including kernel pointers. This is expected to be fixed in the 6.6 stable release when that is available.

Oct 11, 2026The NXP MCUX TRNG entropy driver in drivers/entropy/entropy_mcux_trng.c passed the caller's byte count straight to the vendor SDK routine TRNG_GetRandomData().CVE-2026-19736 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgHigh 7.8
The NXP MCUX TRNG entropy driver in drivers/entropy/entropy_mcux_trng.c passed the caller's byte count straight to the vendor SDK routine TRNG_GetRandomData(). On i.MX RT5xx and RT6xx parts the SDK compiles its TRNG_SW_HEALTH_TESTS variant, which always copies whole 32-bit words and draws entropy rounded up to a multiple of 128 bytes. Its "caller buffer is full" guard tests dataSize == 0, so a request whose length is not a multiple of four makes dataSize underflow past zero and the SDK keeps writing into the caller's buffer for the entire extraction: a 1-byte request results in 128 bytes written, and any non-word-multiple length overflows by up to 127 bytes. entropy_get_entropy() is a syscall, and its verifier in drivers/entropy/entropy_handlers.c validates only the requested length via K_SYSCALL_MEMORY_WRITE(). With CONFIG_USERSPACE enabled, an unprivileged user-mode thread that has merely been granted the entropy device can therefore choose both the destination address and a length such as 1, and cause the kernel to write up to 127 bytes beyond the region it proved it owns. On these Cortex-M33 targets there is no MMU, so user partitions and kernel data share one SRAM and the ove

Oct 8, 2026Heap-based buffer overflow in the legacy Blowfish encryption routine (BlowFishEncryptor::Encode, called by EncryptToString) in Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0CVE-2026-103011 · Other software · Progressive Robot Ltd · reported by cve@gitlab.comMedium 6.5
Heap-based buffer overflow in the legacy Blowfish encryption routine (BlowFishEncryptor::Encode, called by EncryptToString) in Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.5 allows an authenticated mailbox user to cause a denial of service (service crash), and possibly other unspecified impact. In 6.3.4 and 6.3.5, where the self-service REST API is enabled (it is off by default), the user does this remotely by adding a fetch account whose password is 129 to 247 characters long and not a multiple of 8, and then requesting their personal data export (GET /api/v1/me/export.zip), which encrypts that password with the legacy scheme. The same flaw is reachable on Windows by any local interactive user with no hMailServer credentials, through the COM method Utilities.BlowfishEncrypt, which checked no authentication. It is also reachable by every stored-secret write when ProtectStoredSecretsWithDPAPI is set to 0. For such a length, the routine's padding loop writes up to 7 zero bytes 2 to 232 bytes past the end of its 255-byte heap buffer. The ciphertext it returns is still correct.

Heap-based buffer overflow in the legacy Blowfish decryption routine (BlowFishEncryptor::DecryptFromString) in Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.3 on Windows allows a local interactive user with no hMailServer credentials to write bytes of their choosing past the end of a 255-byte heap buffer in the hMailServer service process, which runs as LocalSystem by default. The user does this by passing a long hexadecimal string to the COM method Utilities.BlowfishDecrypt, which checked no authentication. The routine converted hexadecimal input of any length into a fixed 255-byte buffer before decrypting it in place. The result is a denial of service (service crash), and possibly code execution with the privileges of the service account.

Oct 7, 2026A memory buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the internal diagnostic and route validation routines used by the Fabric Shortest Path First (FSPF) protocol coCVE-2026-94582 · Other software · Brocade · reported by sirt@brocade.comMedium 6.8
A memory buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the internal diagnostic and route validation routines used by the Fabric Shortest Path First (FSPF) protocol component of Brocade Fabric OS versions before 10.0.1. While this code path is part of internal diagnostic functionality and is not directly accessible via standard user interfaces or CLI management commands, an input processing flaw allows incoming or internally routed diagnostic state payloads to exceed allocated memory boundaries. An attacker that is able to chain or link other vulnerabilities to exploit this internal diagnostic could cause a heap- or stack-based memory overrun, resulting in a daemon crash (Denial of Service) or potential arbitrary code execution within the context of the routing daemon.

Multiple OS Command Injection vulnerabilities exist in the management interface and session processing routines of Brocade Fabric OS versions before 10.0.1. Input processing flaws during remote management connection validation and session verification for directory-based user accounts allow untrusted input containing shell metacharacters to reach internal system execution wrappers. An authenticated user or a compromised directory service account can exploit these vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary operating system commands with elevated privileges on the target device.

Oct 1, 2026Out-of-bounds Write (CWE-787) in the PEA archive extraction routine (pea.pas, unpea_procedure) of the first-party pea component in PeaZip 11.2.0 and earlier allCVE-2026-102514 · Other software · PeaZip · reported by 4daa8cea-433a-44bd-9456-53b127fc289aHigh 8.4
Out-of-bounds Write (CWE-787) in the PEA archive extraction routine (pea.pas, unpea_procedure) of the first-party pea component in PeaZip 11.2.0 and earlier allows an attacker who convinces a victim to open or extract a crafted .pea archive to execute arbitrary code as the user running PeaZip. While decompressing a PCOMPRESS1 stream, the 32-bit compressed-block-size field of the first block (compsize) is read directly from the archive and used without validation as the length of a blockread into the fixed-size global buffers wbuf1/wbuf2 (1,114,112 bytes) and as the bound of the subsequent copy loop. The existing check "compsize > WBUFSIZE" is applied only to the size of each following block, so the first block escapes it; the same unvalidated value is also used to index wbuf1[compsize], an out-of-bounds read at an attacker-chosen offset. The copy loop additionally copies the requested length instead of the number of bytes actually read, and terminates on equality rather than on an upper bound. Because the project is built without range checking and no archive password, integrity tag or non-default configuration is required, the overflow overwrites adjacent global data; code executi

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: usb: cx82310_eth: drop URB after 0xffff reboot sentinel to prevent partial_data heap oCVE-2026-98025 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: usb: cx82310_eth: drop URB after 0xffff reboot sentinel to prevent partial_data heap overflow The 0xffff length sentinel detects a router reboot and schedules re-enabling of ethernet mode, but then falls through to the rest of the loop body. The next check is } else if (len > CX82310_MTU) { which is the else of the just-matched if -- it never fires for len == 0xffff. The MTU bound that normally caps the incomplete-packet save path is silently bypassed. With 0xffff > skb->len always true (rx_urb_size is 4096), the incomplete-packet branch saves dev->partial_len = skb->len bytes into dev->partial_data. partial_data is kmalloc(hard_mtu) = kmalloc(CX82310_MTU + 2) = 1516 bytes, but skb->len after the 2-byte header pull can be up to 4094. A device that sends a 4096-byte URB starting with [0xff 0xff] therefore copies 4094 device-provided bytes into a buffer allocated for 1516 bytes, exceeding its requested size by 2578 bytes. The next URB then reads dev->partial_len (4094) back from the same 1516-byte buffer and dev->partial_rem (65535 - 4094 = 61441) from the new URB's ~4KB skb, both well past their allo

Sep 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: kasan: fix cache shrink race with CPU hotplug kasan_quarantine_remove_cache() first invokeCVE-2026-93208 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: kasan: fix cache shrink race with CPU hotplug kasan_quarantine_remove_cache() first invokes per_cpu_remove_cache() on all online CPUs. Each callback moves objects belonging to the cache from cpu_quarantine to the CPU's shrink_qlist, where they can later be freed from task context. kmem_cache_destroy() invokes the quarantine removal path while holding cpus_read_lock(), but kmem_cache_shrink() does not. The latter can therefore race with CPU offlining as follows: kmem_cache_shrink() CPU hotplug ------------------- ----------- on_each_cpu() CPU1 moves objects to CPU1's shrink_qlist on_each_cpu() returns CPU1 goes offline kasan_cpu_offline() drains cpu_quarantine leaves shrink_qlist untouched for_each_online_cpu() skips CPU1 The objects left on CPU1's shrink_qlist are not returned to the slab allocator. This may prevent kmem_cache_shrink() from releasing slabs that would otherwise become empty. If CPU1 remains offline, a later
