Nov 1, 2026When `[oauth2_client].ACCOUNT_LINKING` is set to `auto` (not the default) and registration is enabled, the link-account sign-up form looked up the existing accoCVE-2026-120263 · Other software · Gitea · reported by 88ee5874-cf24-4952-aea0-31affedb7ff2
When `[oauth2_client].ACCOUNT_LINKING` is set to `auto` (not the default) and registration is enabled, the link-account sign-up form looked up the existing account to link by the user name or email submitted in the form instead of the identity asserted by the OAuth2 provider. An attacker with an account on a configured OAuth2 provider could submit another user's name, link their external identity to that Gitea account and be signed in as it without its password, including as an administrator. The link persisted for later sign-ins. Automatic linking now only happens when the existing account matches the provider's email or provider-derived user name; otherwise the account password is required.

Nov 1, 2026Gitea 1.27.3 stopped personal access tokens restricted to public resources (`public-only`) from creating repositories through `POST /api/v1/user/repos` and `POSCVE-2026-118395 · Other software · Gitea · reported by 88ee5874-cf24-4952-aea0-31affedb7ff2
Gitea 1.27.3 stopped personal access tokens restricted to public resources (`public-only`) from creating repositories through `POST /api/v1/user/repos` and `POST /api/v1/repos/migrate`, but `POST /api/v1/org/{org}/repos`, `POST /api/v1/orgs/{org}/repos`, `POST /api/v1/orgs` and `POST /api/v1/repos/{owner}/{repo}/generate` still accepted such tokens. A holder of a public-only token with the needed write scopes could create private repositories in organizations where the token's owner may create repositories, create private organizations, and generate private repositories from templates. The token still could not read the private repositories it created.

When parsing an uploaded Helm chart, Gitea decompressed the archive and read every tar entry while looking for `Chart.yaml` without limiting the decompressed size, and did so before the package size quota was checked; the quota only considers the compressed upload size. A user with package write access to an owner, for example their own account on an instance with open registration, could repeatedly upload small, highly compressed archives that make the server spend CPU time proportional to the decompressed size, degrading the availability of the Gitea instance. The issue does not allow code execution or data access.

Oct 31, 2026WebDyne versions from 2.014 before 3.022 for Perl reflect request parameters unescaped into form field values, allowing cross-site scripting.CVE-2026-78190 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441e
WebDyne versions from 2.014 before 3.022 for Perl reflect request parameters unescaped into form field values, allowing cross-site scripting. The textfield, password_field and filefield tags fill their value attribute from the request parameter of the same name. WEBDYNE_CGI_AUTOESCAPE, which controls escaping of these values, defaults to off. From 2.022, WebDyne::HTML::Tiny also replaced its entity_encode method with one that returns its input unchanged, so enabling WEBDYNE_CGI_AUTOESCAPE has no effect. A remote attacker can inject script into any page using these tags through a crafted link.

Oct 31, 2026BuddyBoss Platform: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-96554 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The BuddyBoss Platform plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Group Name in all versions up to, and including, 3.6.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires the "Enable social group creation by all members" setting to be enabled, which is the default and permits Subscriber-level users to create groups; exploitation is not possible if group creation is restricted to administrators.

Oct 31, 2026Debug Log Manager – Conveniently Monitor and Inspect Errors: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-120114 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2
The Debug Log Manager – Conveniently Monitor and Inspect Errors plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'message (and pageUrl)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.5.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Successful exploitation requires that the site administrator has debug logging enabled with JS error logging active, and that the attacker can obtain the publicly emitted dlmVars.jsErrorLogging nonce — which is broadcast on every frontend page — to pass the nonce check on the unauthenticated endpoint.

The GeoDirectory – WP Business Directory Plugin and Classified Listings Directory plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'post_images' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.8.197 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The injected payload does not fire for the attacker directly; it executes in the browser of any Administrator or Editor who opens the pending listing's edit screen, making this a privilege-escalation-capable stored XSS chain triggered through normal editorial workflow.

The FlexStock – Product Stock Sync with Google Sheets for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'products[].post_content' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.17.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is exploitable by any Subscriber-level user because the plugin's admin_enqueue_scripts callback exposes the REST bearer token in the Dashboard page source via wp_localize_script() without a capability check, and the REST endpoint's permission_callback validates only that bearer token rather than performing a current_user_can() capability check.

Oct 31, 2026FeedWordPress: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-110530 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2
The FeedWordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to, and including, 2026.0517 via syndicated RSS/Atom feed content. The plugin's SyndicatedPost::sanitize_content() function only strips the 'target' attribute (the lines that would strip 'style' and 'on[a-z]+' event-handler attributes are commented out), and SyndicatedPost::insert_post() deliberately removes WordPress's wp_filter_kses and wp_filter_post_kses filters from content_save_pre before persisting imported feed items via wp_insert_post(). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers who control an external feed that a site has already subscribed to to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

The Shield Security – Smart Bot Blocking, Brute-Force Login Protection & File Scanning plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'REQUEST_URI' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 22.3.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The hidden 'path' column in ForTraffic.php lacks a client-side render function, so DataTables builds its cell via innerHTML, causing stored HTML in the path value to be parsed into live DOM nodes; a prior partial fix in version 18.5.8 added esc_html() only to the visible 'page' column, leaving the hidden 'path' field unescaped and exploitable through version 22.2.6.

Oct 31, 2026Content Pilot – Autoblogging & Affiliate Marketing Suite: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-111070 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.4
The Content Pilot – Autoblogging & Affiliate Marketing Suite plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to, and including, 2.2.4. This is due to the plugin extracting the HTML meta description from each remotely-fetched article (WPCP_Readability::parse_meta()), piping that value through the article template substitution and html_entity_decode() in WPCP_Module::insert_post(), and then calling wp_insert_post() after switching the current user to the configured campaign author (an Administrator with the unfiltered_html capability by default) — so no wp_kses_post sanitization is applied to the attacker-controlled HTML before it is persisted as post_content and rendered on the front end. This requires HTML Minify to be enabled with the default 'mfunc' entry present in the ignored-comment stems list, and exploitation depends on the attacker predicting the md5(time()) placeholder namespace by reading the server clock via the HTTP Date response header within the applicable time window.

Oct 31, 2026FunnelKit Automations – Email Marketing Automation and CRM for WordPress & WooCommerce: Time-based SQL InjectionCVE-2026-119163 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5
The FunnelKit Automations – Email Marketing Automation and CRM for WordPress & WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to time-based SQL Injection via the 'bwfan_cart_id' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.8.5.2 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. Exploitation is a two-step persisted attack: an unauthenticated attacker submits a crafted bwfan_cart_id value during a guest Store API checkout (requiring only a publicly obtainable WooCommerce cart nonce), and the injection fires when a scheduled Action Scheduler job later reloads the stored meta upon order status transition out of pending, failed, or cancelled.

The ThirstyAffiliates – Affiliate Links, Link Branding, Link Tracking & Marketing Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'comment' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.12.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This vulnerability is only exploitable on block themes (such as Twenty Twenty-Five) where the Comment Content block causes comment HTML to flow through render_block, triggering the plugin's transformer. Additionally, a successful attack requires the attacker to have had one prior comment approved, after which subsequent crafted comments are auto-approved and rendered publicly.

Oct 31, 2026Shipping Zones by Drawing for WooCommerce: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-119065 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2
The Shipping Zones by Drawing for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'szbd-picked' checkout parameter in versions up to, and including, 3.3.0 The szbd_checkout_field_update_order_meta() handler stores stripslashes(sanitize_text_field($_POST['szbd-picked'])) in order meta without validating the JSON structure or restricting dangerous characters, and the szbd_show_checkout_field_admin_order_meta() handler later concatenates the decoded lat and lng values directly into a double-quoted href attribute without esc_url() or esc_attr(). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers, by submitting an ordinary guest-checkout order with a crafted szbd-picked JSON payload, to inject arbitrary attributes (such as onmouseover) onto the Google Maps link in the WooCommerce admin order view that will execute whenever an administrator accesses an injected order.

Oct 31, 2026Webmention: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-111109 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.1
The Webmention plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the Open Graph og:title meta tag of a webmention source URL in versions up to, and including, 5.10.1. This is due to insufficient input sanitization: Meta::add_properties() maps og:title to the Item::name property, but Item has no concrete set_name() method, so Item::__call() stores the value raw while sibling set_content()/set_summary() paths route through webmention_sanitize_html(); Item::get_content() then falls back to the raw name when content and summary are empty, and Receiver::process() explicitly removes the core wp_filter_kses / wp_filter_post_kses hooks on pre_comment_content before calling wp_new_comment(), so the payload is persisted to comment_content as-is. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page, after an administrator approves the resulting pending webmention comment. Successful exploitation additionally requires an action by an administrator — the attacker cannot trigger the vulnerability on their own.

Oct 31, 2026Hustle – Email Marketing, Lead Generation, Optins, Popups: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-109386 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3
The Hustle – Email Marketing, Lead Generation, Optins, Popups plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 7.8.14.3. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with custom-level access and above, to overwrite the site's active ESP integration credentials (AWeber, Constant Contact, Infusionsoft, ConvertKit, or HubSpot API keys) with attacker-controlled values — diverting all subsequent Hustle form lead submissions to the attacker's ESP tenant — and, for HubSpot, irreversibly delete the operator's OAuth token, OAuth referer, and OAuth current-page option rows. This requires the attacker to hold the plugin-granted hustle_create capability (e.g., an Editor delegated hustle_create but not hustle_edit_integrations via Hustle's Permissions tab), which allows them to load a Hustle module wizard page and obtain the hustle_provider_action nonce needed to reach the vulnerable handlers.

The Discussion Board – WordPress Forum Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to, and including, 2.6.0 via the user profile Website (user_url) field. The PDF Invoices & Packing Slips for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'billing_address.first_name / last_name / company, customer_note' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 5.16.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is an incomplete fix for CVE-2026-92244: the wp_kses() allow-list introduced in 5.16.2 correctly blocks raw-tag payloads but is bypassed by entity-encoded payloads (e.g., <img onerror=…>) that contain no literal angle-bracket characters and are therefore passed through unmodified before the trailing decode rematerializes them.
