Oct 14, 2026Dell Terraform Provider for Redfish, versions prior to 1.6.2, contains an Improper Certificate Validation vulnerability in the HTTP transport component.CVE-2026-91881 · Other software · Dell · reported by security_alert@emc.comCritical 9
Dell Terraform Provider for Redfish, versions prior to 1.6.2, contains an Improper Certificate Validation vulnerability in the HTTP transport component. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to information exposure and unauthorized access. This is a Critical severity vulnerability as it allows an unauthenticated attacker to intercept all Redfish BMC traffic including credentials by performing a man-in-the-middle attack, since TLS certificate verification is unconditionally disabled in the base HTTP transport. Dell recommends customers to upgrade at the earliest opportunity.

Oct 8, 2026Heap-based buffer overflow in the legacy Blowfish encryption routine (BlowFishEncryptor::Encode, called by EncryptToString) in Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0CVE-2026-103011 · Other software · Progressive Robot Ltd · reported by cve@gitlab.comMedium 6.5
Heap-based buffer overflow in the legacy Blowfish encryption routine (BlowFishEncryptor::Encode, called by EncryptToString) in Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.5 allows an authenticated mailbox user to cause a denial of service (service crash), and possibly other unspecified impact. In 6.3.4 and 6.3.5, where the self-service REST API is enabled (it is off by default), the user does this remotely by adding a fetch account whose password is 129 to 247 characters long and not a multiple of 8, and then requesting their personal data export (GET /api/v1/me/export.zip), which encrypts that password with the legacy scheme. The same flaw is reachable on Windows by any local interactive user with no hMailServer credentials, through the COM method Utilities.BlowfishEncrypt, which checked no authentication. It is also reachable by every stored-secret write when ProtectStoredSecretsWithDPAPI is set to 0. For such a length, the routine's padding loop writes up to 7 zero bytes 2 to 232 bytes past the end of its 255-byte heap buffer. The ciphertext it returns is still correct.

Oct 8, 2026Heap-based buffer overflow in the legacy Blowfish decryption routine (BlowFishEncryptor::DecryptFromString) in Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.3CVE-2026-103010 · Other software · Progressive Robot Ltd · reported by cve@gitlab.comHigh 7.8
Heap-based buffer overflow in the legacy Blowfish decryption routine (BlowFishEncryptor::DecryptFromString) in Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.3 on Windows allows a local interactive user with no hMailServer credentials to write bytes of their choosing past the end of a 255-byte heap buffer in the hMailServer service process, which runs as LocalSystem by default. The user does this by passing a long hexadecimal string to the COM method Utilities.BlowfishDecrypt, which checked no authentication. The routine converted hexadecimal input of any length into a fixed 255-byte buffer before decrypting it in place. The result is a denial of service (service crash), and possibly code execution with the privileges of the service account.

Sep 18, 2026File Viewer is a browser-native viewer for Office, PDF, CAD, archive, and other files in private and internal web applications.CVE-2026-91127 · Other software · flyfish-dev · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2
File Viewer is a browser-native viewer for Office, PDF, CAD, archive, and other files in private and internal web applications. Prior to @file-viewer/doc 2.3.1 and msdoc-viewer 0.2.2, the legacy DOC renderer emitted document-controlled hyperlink targets into generated HTML after character escaping but without restricting URL schemes. A crafted legacy DOC file could place javascript:, vbscript:, data:, or another unsafe scheme in a rendered link, and script could execute in the embedding application's origin when a user clicked the link. The fix blocks external document links by default, allows only HTTP(S), mail, telephone, safe relative URLs, and internal bookmarks when external links are explicitly enabled, and applies mount-boundary sanitization as defense in depth. This issue is fixed in @file-viewer/doc 2.3.1 and msdoc-viewer 0.2.2.

Aug 28, 2026mapfish-print is a component of MapFish for printing templated cartographic maps.CVE-2026-55848 · Other software · mapfish · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6
mapfish-print is a component of MapFish for printing templated cartographic maps. Prior to 3.28.30, 3.30.32, 3.31.24, 3.33.16, and 4.0.5, MapFish Print accepts an attacker-controlled GML layer url in requests to the /api/print3/print endpoint and fetches XML parsed by core/src/main/java/org/mapfish/print/map/geotools/GmlLayer.java without disabling external entities and external DTDs. A remote XML document and DTD can expand a local file entity, and the resulting content can be exposed through the GML parsing and error path. This allows unauthenticated attackers to read files such as operating-system account data, Kubernetes service-account tokens, and certificates. Replacing the file entity target with an internal HTTP endpoint also permits server-side request forgery. This issue is fixed in versions 3.28.30, 3.30.32, 3.31.24, 3.33.16, and 4.0.5.

FakeFish handles incoming credentials by passing them down to scripts. This works for real hardware because in the end it's up to the BMC to validate them. However, KubeVirt relies on a KUBECONFIG file mounted to the container and completely ignores the credentials. This allows any user of the cluster to control VMs of the user that created fakefish, power them on and off, and mount arbitrary CD images to them.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: power: supply: goldfish: Fix use-after-free in power_supply_changed() Using the `devm_` variant for requesting IRQ _before_ the `devm_` variant for allocating/registering the `power_supply` handle, means that the `power_supply` handle will be deallocated/unregistered _before_ the interrupt handler (since `devm_` naturally deallocates in reverse allocation order). This means that during removal, there is a race condition where an interrupt can fire just _after_ the `power_supply` handle has been freed, *but* just _before_ the corresponding unregistration of the IRQ handler has run. This will lead to the IRQ handler calling `power_supply_changed()` with a freed `power_supply` handle. Which usually crashes the system or otherwise silently corrupts the memory... Note that there is a similar situation which can also happen during `probe()`; the possibility of an interrupt firing _before_ registering the `power_supply` handle. This would then lead to the nasty situation of using the `power_supply` handle *uninitialized* in `power_supply_changed()`. Fix this racy use-after-free by making sure the IRQ is requested _af

Feb 13, 2026Starfish Review Generation & Marketing for: Unauthorized modification of data that can lead to privilege escalationCVE-2025-15157 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8
The Starfish Review Generation & Marketing for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data that can lead to privilege escalation due to a missing capability check on the 'srm_restore_options_defaults' function in all versions up to, and including, 3.1.19. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to update arbitrary options on the WordPress site. This can be leveraged to update the default role for registration to administrator and enable user registration for attackers to gain administrative user access to a vulnerable site.

Dec 4, 2025An issue was discovered in the Thermo Fisher Torrent Suite Django application 5.18.1.CVE-2025-54307 · Other software · Thermofisher · reported by MITREHigh 8.8
An issue was discovered in the Thermo Fisher Torrent Suite Django application 5.18.1. The /configure/plugins/plugin/upload/zip/ and /configure/newupdates/offline/bundle/upload/ endpoints allow low-privilege users to upload ZIP files to the server. The plupload_file_upload function handles these file uploads and constructs the destination file path by using either the name parameter or the uploaded filename, neither of which is properly sanitized. The file extension is extracted by splitting the filename, and a format string is used to construct the final file path, leaving the destination path vulnerable to path traversal. An authenticated attacker with network connectivity can write arbitrary files to the server, enabling remote code execution after overwriting an executable file. An example is the pdflatex executable, which is executed through subprocess.Popen in the write_report_pdf function after requests to a /report/latex/(\d+).pdf endpoint.

Dec 4, 2025An issue was discovered in the Thermo Fisher Torrent Suite Django application 5.18.1.CVE-2025-54306 · Other software · Thermofisher · reported by MITREHigh 7.2
An issue was discovered in the Thermo Fisher Torrent Suite Django application 5.18.1. A remote code execution vulnerability exists in the network configuration functionality, stemming from insufficient input validation when processing network configuration parameters through administrative endpoints. The application allows administrators to modify the server's network configuration through the Django application. This configuration is processed by Bash scripts (TSsetnoproxy and TSsetproxy) that write user-controlled data directly to environment variables without proper sanitization. After updating environment variables, the scripts execute a source command on /etc/environment; if an attacker injects malicious data into environment variables, this command can enable arbitrary command execution. The vulnerability begins with the /admin/network endpoint, which passes user-supplied form data as arguments to subprocess.Popen calls. The user-supplied input is then used to update environment variables in TSsetnoproxy and TSsetproxy, and finally source $environment is executed.

Dec 4, 2025An issue was discovered on Thermo Fisher Ion Torrent OneTouch 2 INS1005527 devices.CVE-2025-54304 · Other software · Thermofisher · reported by MITRECritical 9.8
An issue was discovered on Thermo Fisher Ion Torrent OneTouch 2 INS1005527 devices. When they are powered on, an X11 display server is started. The display server listens on all network interfaces and is accessible over port 6000. The X11 access control list, by default, allows connections from 127.0.0.1 and 192.168.2.15. If a device is powered on and later connected to a network with DHCP, the device may not be assigned the 192.168.2.15 IP address, leaving the display server accessible by other devices on the network. The exposed X11 display server can then be used to gain root privileges and the ability to execute code remotely by interacting with matchbox-desktop and spawning a terminal. NOTE: This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer.

Dec 4, 2025The Thermo Fisher Torrent Suite Django application 5.18.1 has weak default credentials, which are stored as fixtures for the Django ORM API.CVE-2025-54303 · Other software · Thermofisher · reported by MITRECritical 9.8
The Thermo Fisher Torrent Suite Django application 5.18.1 has weak default credentials, which are stored as fixtures for the Django ORM API. The ionadmin user account can be used to authenticate to default deployments with the password ionadmin. The user guide recommends changing default credentials; however, a password change policy for default administrative accounts is not enforced. Many deployments may retain default credentials, in which case an attacker is likely to be able to successfully authenticate with administrative privileges.
