  • Oct 23, 2026The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser.CVE-2026-55486 · Other software · intranda · reported by GitHubCritical 9.3

The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser. From version 25.08 to before version 26.05, the IIIF Auth 2.0 endpoints auth/login and auth/token in AuthorizationFlowResource accept an origin query parameter without validation and then (1) embed it into the Content-Security-Policy: frame-ancestors response header and (2) embed it into an HTML response body as a JavaScript single-quoted postMessage argument. Because the attacker controls both the login and token calls that initiate the flow, the unescaped value yields reflected XSS. This issue has been patched in version 26.05.

  • Oct 23, 2026The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser.CVE-2026-55465 · Other software · intranda · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser. From version 22.04 to before version 26.05, the unauthenticated REST endpoint GET /api/v1/index/{solrField}/spatial/search concatenates the user-supplied region query parameter directly into a Solr query string with no escaping, no local-param stripping, and no runtime schema enforcement (the OpenAPI @Schema(pattern=...) annotation is documentation-only at the JAX-RS layer). An attacker can inject Solr local-param syntax ({!parent ...}, {!join ...}) and boolean operators to make access-restricted georeferenced records match the query, bypassing the access-condition filter. This issue has been patched in version 26.05.

  • Oct 23, 2026The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser.CVE-2026-55463 · Other software · intranda · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser. From version 4.11.0 to before version 26.05, several Jakarta WebSocket endpoints in goobi-viewer-core (DownloadTaskEndpoint, CampaignEndpoint, AutocompleteEndpoint, UserEndpoint) accept connections without verifying that the associated HttpSession belongs to a logged-in user, and none validate the Origin header against an allowlist. An unauthenticated attacker can therefore connect to these endpoints; through CampaignEndpoint this allows polluting the in-process crowdsourcing page-lock map and broadcasting forged lock messages, disrupting reviewers' work. This issue has been patched in version 26.05.

  • Oct 23, 2026The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser.CVE-2026-55459 · Other software · intranda · reported by GitHubHigh 7.4

The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser. From version 25.01 to before version 26.05, AuthenticationEndpoint.verifyOpenIdToken builds its verifier as JWT.require(algorithm).withIssuer(issuer).build() and does not enforce the aud claim during cryptographic validation. The aud check is performed manually afterwards via a single string-equality call, which only handles single-string aud values. In a multi-RP IdP setup, a token whose single-string aud matches the viewer's client ID but was issued for a different relying party passes the check and authenticates the attacker as the token's sub. This issue has been patched in version 26.05.

  • Oct 23, 2026The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser.CVE-2026-55457 · Other software · intranda · reported by GitHubHigh 7.4

The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser. Prior to version 26.05, Configuration.getWebApiToken returns the empty string when webapi.authorization.token is not configured. AuthorizationFilter compares the supplied token against this default without first checking that the configured token is non-empty. A request to any @AuthorizationBinding-protected endpoint with an empty ?token= value is therefore accepted. This issue has been patched in version 26.05.

  • Oct 23, 2026The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser.CVE-2026-55444 · Other software · intranda · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser. Prior to version 26.05, the legacy RSS servlet (RssResolver, GET /rss/) accepts the q and filterQuery parameters and concatenates them into Solr queries without validation. The servlet predates the REST API layer and lacks the input validation present in GET /api/v1/records/rss. q forms the main query body (wrapped only in literal parentheses); filterQuery is passed directly as a Solr fq. An unauthenticated attacker can inject Solr boolean operators to break out of the wrapping and render the trailing access-condition filter-query suffix optional, so that access-restricted records are included in the generated RSS feed. The q and filterQuery parameters are the same underlying vulnerability in the same servlet; q (the main query body) has the broader scope. This issue has been patched in version 26.05.

  • Oct 23, 2026The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser.CVE-2026-55442 · Other software · intranda · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser. From version 23.03 to before version 26.05, SolrTools.cleanUpQuery() strips Solr local-parameter syntax ({!...}) from user-supplied query strings before they reach Solr. Its regex can be bypassed by wrapping the local parameter in a second pair of curly braces ({{!...}}): the outer braces are stripped, the inner {!...} survives intact, and a valid Solr local parameter is forwarded. The flaw is in the shared sanitizer, so it affects any endpoint that routes user input through cleanUpQuery. The double-brace bypass applies from v23.10 (the greedy \{(.+)\} regex); a related bare-!join rewrap path is present. This issue has been patched in version 26.05.

  • Oct 23, 2026The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser.CVE-2026-46652 · Other software · intranda · reported by GitHubCritical 9.8

The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser. From version 24.03 to before version 26.05, ExternalFilesDownloader.getFilename() extracts the destination filename from a server-supplied Content-Disposition response header and passes it directly to Path.resolve() without stripping directory components. This allows for a malicious HTTP server that the viewer fetches from to supply an absolute path or ../ traversal sequences as the filename, writing attacker-controlled content to an arbitrary path writable by the Tomcat process. When targeting the deployed web-application directory, this yields remote code execution as the tomcat OS user. This issue has been patched in version 26.05.

  • Oct 23, 2026The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser.CVE-2026-46347 · Other software · intranda · reported by GitHubMedium 6.8

The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser. Prior to version 26.05, when a password reset link is visited, the application generates a replacement password in a predictable way and emails it to the account holder. The insufficient entropy allows the password to be brute-forced by an attacker who can approximate the server-side generation time. Exploiting this finding in isolation requires the victim to have triggered the reset themselves and the attacker to infer the server time from network or email metadata. This issue has been patched in version 26.05.

The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser. Prior to version 26.05, the password reset token is predictably based on the time of the reset request. • Oct 21, 2026Jupyter Server is the backend for Jupyter web applications.CVE-2026-114135 · Other software · jupyter-server · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

Jupyter Server is the backend for Jupyter web applications. From 2.0.0 until 2.6.0, enabling GatewayClient.url replaced the normal KernelWebsocketHandler with WebSocketChannelsHandler, which authenticated the user but did not call authorizer.is_authorized(...) for the execute action on the kernels resource. A restricted authenticated user could therefore open an upstream kernel channel and obtain kernel execution despite the configured Authorizer denying that action, exposing data and credentials available to the kernel and permitting modification or disruption of the kernel environment. The default gateway configuration is fixed in version 2.6.0. In 2.6.0 and later, the same authorization bypass remains possible when a deployment manually registers the deprecated jupyter_server.gateway.handlers module, because its handler still omits the configured kernel-execute authorization decision.

  • Oct 19, 2026Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime.CVE-2026-111757 · Other software · honojs · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime. From 4.12.4 until 4.13.11, serveStatic can interpret a malformed percent-encoded path differently from upstream routing middleware and bypass protection for a static prefix. The root cause is serveStatic decodes a routed request path a second time before filesystem lookup. The attack mechanism is malformed percent encoding survives the first routing interpretation and becomes a protected path only during the later static-file decode. The affected component is serveStatic. The trigger conditions are an application protects a static prefix with upstream middleware and serveStatic receives an attacker-controlled malformed percent-encoded path. The impact is unauthorized disclosure of a static file that upstream middleware was intended to protect. The issue does not permit traversal outside the configured static root. This issue is fixed in version 4.13.11.

  • Oct 14, 2026Stirling-PDF is a locally hosted web application that facilitates various operations on PDF files.CVE-2026-85714 · Other software · Stirling-Tools · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1

Stirling-PDF is a locally hosted web application that facilitates various operations on PDF files. Prior to 2.13.2, an authenticated administrator using the default H2 database and security mode can upload a crafted SQL file to POST /api/v1/database/import-database. DatabaseService.validateSqlContent() splits normalized input on semicolons and accepts a statement when it contains any allowed keyword, allowing dangerous H2 functions such as FILE_READ and CSVWRITE, plus CREATE ALIAS, to bypass the insufficient whitelist and execute side effects when RUNSCRIPT processes the file. This permits arbitrary file access. The demonstrated operating-system command execution chain writes attacker-controlled startup files to a user-site location and then triggers an application Python interpreter configured to load those startup files, resulting in command execution as the JVM service account. Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. From 1.20.0 until 1.21.1, the Angular DevTools background service worker accepts chrome.runtime.sendMessage runtime messages from untrusted web pages or third-party content scripts without adequately verifying the message source. An untrusted sender that obtains a valid randomized victim tabId can direct the extension to use chrome.debugger to attach to another browser tab and trigger Chrome DevTools Protocol breakpoints. • Oct 14, 2026Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages.CVE-2026-101896 · Other software · angular · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 20.3.32, 21.2.24, and 22.2.0, the @angular/router URL parser stores numeric matrix parameter names and numeric outlet names as properties on initially empty JavaScript objects during Node.js server-side rendering. V8 can interpret these URL-derived keys as array indices and allocate dense backing stores sized to high numeric values, so repeated small path segments cause disproportionate per-segment heap consumption. An unauthenticated attacker can send overlapping requests containing repeated numeric matrix parameters when SSR is enabled, the router directly parses the request URL, and upstream proxies allow semicolons and multiple path segments, eventually exhausting the Node.js old-space heap and terminating the SSR worker. Pure client-side Angular applications are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 20.3.32, 21.2.24, and 22.2.0.

Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 20.3.31, 21.2.23, and 22.1.6, the @angular/platform-server DOM emulation parser can enter an infinite synchronous loop when Angular server-side rendering processes attacker-controlled HTML containing an incomplete DOCTYPE that ends with whitespace at end of input. In Domino lib/HTMLParser.js, after_doctype_name_state emits doctype and EOF tokens without advancing nextchar or leaving the fixed-lookahead state, so the scanner repeatedly handles the same EOF marker. A remote unauthenticated attacker can use this condition through server-side HTML parsing paths such as innerHTML binding to consume a Node.js SSR worker at full CPU, starve the event loop, and stop concurrent and subsequent requests. The flaw is triggered when an unauthenticated attacker sends more arguments than SecArgumentsLimit or supplies bodies that expand beyond the configured argument and flattening budgets. An unauthenticated attacker can flood requests with arguments so excess values are silently omitted from ARGS, ARGS_GET, ARGS_NAMES, ARGS_GET_NAMES, ARGS_POST, or ARGS_PATH before security rules inspect them; affected urlencoded and JSON processing can also consume excessive memory. The omission can bypass WAF rules protecting the downstream application, and unbounded or amplified argument processing can cause memory consumption and service degradation. • Oct 12, 2026OWASP Coraza WAF is a golang modsecurity compatible web application firewall library.CVE-2026-104774 · Other software · corazawaf · reported by GitHubMedium 5.8

OWASP Coraza WAF is a golang modsecurity compatible web application firewall library. From 3.0.0 until 3.8.0, the t:jsDecode transformation in internal/transformations/js_decode.go:64-70 includes the backslash in the octal buffer, causing ParseInt to fail and return a null byte. The flaw is triggered when a rule relies on t:jsDecode and the request contains JavaScript octal escape sequences. An unauthenticated attacker can encode attack syntax with JavaScript octal escapes so the backend decodes the intended bytes while Coraza rules using t:jsDecode inspect corrupted null-byte output. The mismatch can bypass WAF rules and expose the protected application to attacks such as cross-site scripting or SQL injection. This issue is fixed in version 3.8.0.

  • Oct 9, 2026Shiny for Python is a framework for building interactive web applications in Python.CVE-2026-108258 · Other software · posit-dev · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9

Shiny for Python is a framework for building interactive web applications in Python. From 1.4.0 until 1.6.4, bookmark restore accepts a client-supplied state_id and joins it into the server-side shiny_bookmarks directory without validating that it is a single safe path segment. An unauthenticated request can use parent-directory segments or an absolute path to make the server open input.json and values.json outside the bookmark store, even when bookmark_store is set to disable. In applications configured with bookmark_store set to server and using ui.input_file(), the restore handler can additionally copy and expose an attacker-selected file from an attacker-selected directory. This issue is fixed in version 1.6.4.

  • Oct 9, 2026OWASP Coraza WAF is a golang modsecurity compatible web application firewall library.CVE-2026-107835 · Other software · corazawaf · reported by GitHubMedium 4

OWASP Coraza WAF is a golang modsecurity compatible web application firewall library. Prior to 3.8.1, internal/cookies.ParseCookies in internal/cookies/cookies.go handles boundary ASCII control characters and control-only or empty cookie names differently from several backend cookie parsers. An unauthenticated attacker can craft a Cookie header so Coraza indexes or drops a cookie under a different name or value from the backend application, causing rules targeting REQUEST_COOKIES or REQUEST_COOKIES_NAMES to miss application-visible attacker data. Exploitation depends on the backend parser and affected rule scope, and interior control characters with inconsistent backend behavior are outside this advisory's remediation. This issue is fixed in version 3.8.1.

OWASP Coraza WAF is a golang modsecurity compatible web application firewall library. From 3.0.0 until 3.8.0, the multipart loop in internal/bodyprocessors/multipart.go executes defer temp.Close() for every uploaded file part, so each temporary-file descriptor remains open until the complete request returns. An unauthenticated attacker can submit a multipart body containing many minimal file parts and exhaust the process file-descriptor table within the request-body size limit, causing os.CreateTemp failures, MULTIPART_STRICT_ERROR responses, blocked legitimate uploads, and process-wide inability to open files or sockets. This issue is fixed in version 3.8.0.

  • Oct 9, 2026OWASP Coraza WAF is a golang modsecurity compatible web application firewall library.CVE-2026-107833 · Other software · corazawaf · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9

OWASP Coraza WAF is a golang modsecurity compatible web application firewall library. From 3.0.0 until 3.8.0, ProcessResponse in internal/bodyprocessors/json.go passes the ignoreJSONRecursionLimit value of -1 to readJSON, while the recursive guard only stops at zero. A network attacker who can cause an application protected by Coraza to return deeply nested JSON can make response-body processing perform quadratic work, consuming one CPU core for seconds per response within the default ResponseBodyLimit. Request JSON processing is not affected by this specific path because it uses the configured request recursion limit, and exploitation requires response-body inspection to be enabled. This issue is fixed in version 3.8.0.

OWASP Coraza WAF is a golang modsecurity compatible web application firewall library. From 3.0.0 until 3.8.1, readJSON in internal/bodyprocessors/json.go can stop its bounded flattening walk after reaching SecArgumentsLimit or the byte budget and then call gjson.Valid on the complete raw body. An unauthenticated attacker can submit shallow values followed by an extremely deeply nested JSON tail that was not visited by the bounded walk, causing gjson.Valid to recurse without a depth bound and terminate the hosting process with an unrecoverable fatal stack overflow. The ProcessRequest and ProcessResponse JSON paths share the affected readJSON validation flow, and the payload can remain within recommended body-size and argument-count limits. OWASP Coraza WAF is a golang modsecurity compatible web application firewall library. From 3.0.0 until 3.8.0, ProcessURI in internal/corazawaf/transaction.go handles a url.ParseRequestURI failure by retaining the raw URI but leaving QUERY_STRING, ARGS_GET, ARGS_GET_NAMES, and the GET-derived portion of ARGS empty. An unauthenticated attacker can place control bytes in a URI passed directly by integrations such as coraza-spoa, coraza-proxy-wasm, custom FFI hosts, or WASM hosts, causing Coraza to omit query parameters that the downstream integration may still process and allowing rules targeting those variables to be bypassed. The bundled coraza/v3/http integration is not affected because Go net/http rejects such malformed request targets before calling Coraza. This issue is fixed in version 3.8.0.

JHipster is a development platform to quickly generate, develop, and deploy modern web applications and microservice architectures. From 7.0.0 until 9.4.0, reactive applications generated with Spring WebFlux, Spring Data R2DBC, and a SQL database pass the attacker-controlled sort request parameter from paginated entity-list endpoints into createOrderByFields in generators/spring-boot/generators/data-relational/templates/src/main/java/package/repository/EntityManager_reactive.java.ejs. The generated code renders these properties into the SQL ORDER BY clause without validation or quoting, and the R2DBC simple query protocol can execute additional statements separated by semicolons. A normal authenticated user can consequently read sensitive tables, modify or delete data, or drop tables, while non-reactive JPA applications and NoSQL backends are outside this root cause. This issue is fixed in 9.4.0.

Prior to generator-jhipster 9.4.0 and react-jhipster 1.1.0, generated applications can persist attacker-controlled Blob data and companion ContentType values, return them through generated REST endpoints, and pass them to the generated openFile helper in generators/client/generators/common/templates/src/main/webapp/app/shared/jhipster/data-utils.ts.ejs. The helper uses the returned ContentType as the browser Blob MIME type and opens an object URL, so a normal authenticated user with write access to a Blob-bearing entity can store active HTML or SVG content that may execute under the application origin when a privileged user opens it. From 16.3.0 until 16.3.8, pending use cache fills for the same key are shared without separating Draft Mode requests from regular requests. An overlapping regular request can receive unauthenticated unpublished content from an editor's Draft Mode fill, while an overlapping Draft Mode request can receive published content from a regular fill.
