  • Oct 28, 2026OpenHop is a tool for creating interactive data-flow diagrams.CVE-2026-59179 · Other software · naorsabag · reported by GitHubHigh 8.3

OpenHop is a tool for creating interactive data-flow diagrams. Prior to 0.3.7, `@openhop/server` passes unauthenticated flow route parameters from `GET /api/flows/:id` and `DELETE /api/flows/:id` in `packages/server/src/routes.ts` to `FlowStore.filePath()` in `packages/server/src/store.ts` without an identifier allow-list. The router applies `decodeURIComponent` to the id, and `path.join()` then normalizes traversal outside the configured flow directory after appending the .yaml extension. An attacker can read accessible YAML files as YAML-parsed JSON or permanently delete accessible .yaml files outside that directory, exposing configuration or secrets and disrupting dependent services. In `packages/server/src/index.ts`, CORS `origin: true` permits any browser origin, enabling a malicious webpage to target a loopback-bound instance. Docker deployments default to `HOST=0.0.0.0` and permit direct unauthenticated network access. This issue is fixed in repository release 0.3.7.

  • Oct 13, 2026JupyterLab is an extensible environment for interactive and reproducible computing, based on the Jupyter Notebook Architecture.CVE-2026-102832 · Other software · jupyterlab · reported by GitHubMedium 4.2

JupyterLab is an extensible environment for interactive and reproducible computing, based on the Jupyter Notebook Architecture. From 4.5.7 until 4.5.11 and 4.6.4, the markdownviewer:trust and notebook:trust command-link handlers use tracker.currentWidget to resolve the current Markdown viewer or notebook when the user answers rather than retaining the document whose command button was clicked. If another document becomes current while the prompt is open and the user chooses Trust, JupyterLab marks the second document trusted while leaving the clicked document untrusted. Later command buttons in the incorrectly trusted document run without a prompt, and trusting a notebook marks all cells trusted, saves unsaved edits, and persists the server signature to disk. Applications that bundle JupyterLab, including affected Notebook and JupyterLite releases, inherit the behavior. This issue is fixed in versions 4.5.11 and 4.6.4.

  • Oct 9, 2026Shiny for Python is a framework for building interactive web applications in Python.CVE-2026-108258 · Other software · posit-dev · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9

Shiny for Python is a framework for building interactive web applications in Python. From 1.4.0 until 1.6.4, bookmark restore accepts a client-supplied state_id and joins it into the server-side shiny_bookmarks directory without validating that it is a single safe path segment. An unauthenticated request can use parent-directory segments or an absolute path to make the server open input.json and values.json outside the bookmark store, even when bookmark_store is set to disable. In applications configured with bookmark_store set to server and using ui.input_file(), the restore handler can additionally copy and expose an attacker-selected file from an attacker-selected directory. This issue is fixed in version 1.6.4.

  • Oct 8, 2026Missing authorization on COM objects in Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.5 (Windows only) lets a local interactive user with no hMailServer credeCVE-2026-104660 · Other software · Progressive Robot Ltd · reported by cve@gitlab.comHigh 7.8

Missing authorization on COM objects in Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.5 (Windows only) lets a local interactive user with no hMailServer credential read and write arbitrary files as the service account and queue mail as any sender. The service registers its COM classes with no DCOM access or launch permission and calls CoInitializeSecurity with no security descriptor, so any user logged on at the console or over Remote Desktop can activate the classes in the running service; a hMailServer.Message, its Attachments and Attachment, and a hMailServer.FetchAccount created this way carry a credential that never authenticated. Attachments.Add(path) and Attachment.SaveAs(path) performed no authorization check, and Message.Save/Copy and FetchAccount.AccountID/Save performed none either up to 6.3.3 and from 6.3.4 treated a holder with no credential as the server's own event-script host. Because the service does not impersonate the COM caller, Attachments.Add reads any file the service account can read and returns it, Attachment.SaveAs writes attacker-chosen bytes to any path it can write (on a LocalSystem installation, code execution as SYSTEM), Message.Save queues outbound

  • Sep 29, 2026JupyterLab is an extensible environment for interactive and reproducible computing, based on the Jupyter Notebook Architecture.CVE-2026-102904 · Other software · jupyterlab · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4

JupyterLab is an extensible environment for interactive and reproducible computing, based on the Jupyter Notebook Architecture. From JupyterLab 4.0.0 until 4.5.11 and 4.6.4, the PyPI Extension Manager uninstall request reaches ExtensionHandler.post, which validates extension names for installation but passes uninstall names to PyPIExtensionManager.uninstall and python -m pip uninstall without rejecting option-like values. The security impact requires that the PyPI Extension Manager is enabled, the account can call the extension API, and kernels and terminals are disabled or delegated to remote hosts; otherwise the user can already read files and make outbound requests directly. An authenticated user with extension API access can supply a pip requirements option to make the server read a local file or fetch an internal URL, and reflected parse errors can return the first unparsable line or response content. A pip log option can also create or corrupt a chosen path with pip-generated log text, but the requester cannot select an arbitrary disclosed line or arbitrary file content, and the injection does not add code execution or availability impact beyond ordinary package removal. • Sep 29, 2026JupyterLab is an extensible environment for interactive and reproducible computing, based on the Jupyter Notebook Architecture.CVE-2026-102831 · Other software · jupyterlab · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1

JupyterLab is an extensible environment for interactive and reproducible computing, based on the Jupyter Notebook Architecture. From JupyterLab 4.5.0 until 4.5.11 and 4.6.4, from Notebook 7.5.0 until 7.6.3, and from JupyterLite Core 0.7.0 until 0.8.4, the system clipboard cell-paste path accepts attacker-controlled cell JSON without clearing metadata.trusted. When useSystemClipboardForCells is active and pasteCodeCellsWithoutOutput is disabled, a pasted code cell can mark HTML output as trusted, bypass output sanitization, and execute script in the authenticated JupyterLab origin without executing the cell. Markdown and raw cells are not affected because their output is sanitized. This issue is fixed in JupyterLab 4.5.11 and 4.6.4, Notebook 7.6.3, and JupyterLite Core 0.8.4.

  • Sep 29, 2026JupyterLab is an extensible environment for interactive and reproducible computing, based on the Jupyter Notebook Architecture.CVE-2026-102830 · Other software · jupyterlab · reported by GitHubMedium 6.8

JupyterLab is an extensible environment for interactive and reproducible computing, based on the Jupyter Notebook Architecture. From JupyterLab 3.0.0 until 4.5.11 and 4.6.4, and in JupyterLite Core 0.8.3 and earlier, the Plural-Forms header in a selected third-party language pack can append JavaScript after a valid plural rule because prefix-only regular-expression validation accepts a matching prefix without requiring the entire header to match. JupyterLab passes the accepted expression to new Function, so loading the catalogue and translating a plural string executes the appended code in the authenticated JupyterLab origin. Where Jupyter Server kernels, terminals, and APIs are exposed, the code can use authenticated server APIs to read or modify files and run code. Impact is much more limited in JupyterLite because it typically lacks most exposed Jupyter Server surfaces. The default English locale is unaffected because it does not load a translation catalogue. This issue is fixed in JupyterLab 4.5.11 and 4.6.4 and JupyterLite Core 0.8.4.

  • Sep 14, 2026OpenZeppelin Contracts Wizard is a web application to interactively build a contract out of components from OpenZeppelin Contracts.CVE-2026-57583 · Other software · OpenZeppelin · reported by GitHubLow 3.3

OpenZeppelin Contracts Wizard is a web application to interactively build a contract out of components from OpenZeppelin Contracts. Prior to @openzeppelin/wizard 0.10.11, @openzeppelin/wizard-cairo 3.0.1, @openzeppelin/wizard-stellar 0.6.2, and @openzeppelin/wizard-stylus 0.3.1, the setInfo code path prints info.securityContact and info.license verbatim into single-line comments in generated Solidity, Cairo, Stellar/Soroban, and Stylus source. A line terminator ends the comment and causes following input to be emitted as source declarations. Exploitation requires an integration to populate these fields from untrusted input and a user to consume the generated source; normal self-service web, AI assistant, CLI, and self-hosted API use does not cross that trust boundary, shared links cannot set the fields, and no code executes on a Wizard service. This issue affects generated-source integrity only and is fixed in versions 0.10.11, 3.0.1, 0.6.2, and 0.3.1 of the respective packages.

  • Sep 14, 2026Affected versions of MISP’s interactive CLI shell do not reliably preserve the identity of the impersonated MISP user across audit logging.CVE-2026-90955 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 4.6

Affected versions of MISP’s interactive CLI shell do not reliably preserve the identity of the impersonated MISP user across audit logging. The shell is designed to run actions as a supplied MISP user ID. However, the legacy SysLogLogable behavior stored that identity in behavior-instance state that could be overwritten when another model lazily attached the shared behavior. Consequently, subsequent CLI writes could lose the intended user attribution and be logged incorrectly. The commit also notes that CLI-originated records lacked a CLI marker, making them appear similar to ordinary web actions by that user. Version affected: ≤2.5.45

Affected versions of MISP’s interactive CLI shell implement access control independently from the normal web application, causing several authorization inconsistencies. The patch shows that CLI access could differ from the web application in multiple security-sensitive areas:  - feed listings did not enforce the same lookup_visible restrictions for non-host-organisation users;  - feed detail access did not enforce the same host-organisation/site-admin authorization as FeedsController::view();  - Feed.headers, which can contain HTTP authorization credentials, could be exposed instead of being hidden or masked;  - server synchronization authkey values were not explicitly hidden from CLI detail output;  - sharing-group detail access did not consistently use SharingGroup::checkIfAuthorised();  - the use command could establish context for a record without first proving that the user was authorized to view that record The commit additionally hardens pagination and terminal rendering, including neutralization of terminal control sequences found in database-backed values. Those are important hardening changes, but the main vulnerability is the CLI authorization/data-disclosure mismat

MapLibre GL JS is an interactive vector tile map library for web browsers. Prior to 6.4.1, DOM.sanitize() in src/util/dom.ts iterates elem.attributes as a live NamedNodeMap while removeAttributes() removes attributes from the same collection, shifting indexes and skipping an adjacent dangerous attribute. • Aug 20, 2026broot renders each file and directory name in its interactive tree view exactly as read from the filesystem.CVE-2026-72847 · Other software · Canop · reported by VulnCheckLow 2.4

broot renders each file and directory name in its interactive tree view exactly as read from the filesystem. Names are converted with a plain to_string_lossy() call in src/tree_build/builder.rs and in TreeLine::unprune in src/tree/tree_line.rs, and no control-character filtering exists anywhere in the code, even though the doc comment on the TreeLine name field states that some characters may have been stripped. Any local user who can create a file can therefore place an escape sequence in its name and have it written unmodified to the terminal of anyone who browses that directory, between broot's own styling codes. A reported proof of concept used an OSC 52 clipboard-write sequence and captured the raw bytes broot wrote to its pty, confirming the sequence reaches the terminal unstripped. What an injected OSC or CSI sequence can then do depends on the terminal emulator in use. Browsing a directory is broot's primary function and carries no expectation that the content is trusted.

  • Aug 13, 2026jupyterlab is an extensible environment for interactive and reproducible computing, based on the Jupyter Notebook Architecture.CVE-2026-73417 · Other software · jupyterlab · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6

jupyterlab is an extensible environment for interactive and reproducible computing, based on the Jupyter Notebook Architecture. From 3.3.0 until 4.5.10 and 4.6.2, JupyterLab allows notebook settings to be shared and applied through an overrides.json file using the Import button in the Settings Editor. In packages/notebook-extension/schema/tracker.json and packages/notebook-extension/src/index.ts, the sideBySideLeftMarginOverride and sideBySideRightMarginOverride settings are not properly validated before being inserted into style content, allowing a crafted settings file to contain instructions that execute as code instead of only changing display preferences. A user can import the malicious file, or an attacker with access to a shared settings location can plant an overrides.json that is applied automatically. The embedded code runs with the affected user's access and can read or modify notebooks and files and run code through the notebook server, including on a connected kernel. • Aug 13, 2026jupyterlab is an extensible environment for interactive and reproducible computing, based on the Jupyter Notebook Architecture.CVE-2026-73416 · Other software · jupyterlab · reported by GitHubMedium 6.1

jupyterlab is an extensible environment for interactive and reproducible computing, based on the Jupyter Notebook Architecture. From 4.5.0 until 4.5.10 and 4.6.2, in jupyterlab/extensions/manager.py and jupyterlab/extensions/pypi.py, JupyterLab's PyPI extension manager enforces blocked_extensions_uris by comparing requested install names to blocklist entries with custom normalization that is weaker than PyPI package-name canonicalization. An authenticated user can request a PyPI-equivalent spelling such as JupyterLab.Git for a blocklisted package such as jupyterlab-git, and JupyterLab accepts the install request even though pip resolves the variant to the same package. Security impact requires an allowlist or blocklist intended to restrict package installation, the PyPI Extension Manager, and kernels and terminals that are disabled or delegated to remote hosts. The bypass lets an authenticated user install a prohibited extension, defeat integrity restrictions, and affect availability without gaining new read access. OpenZeppelin Contracts Wizard is a web application to interactively build a contract out of components from OpenZeppelin Contracts. Versions prior to 0.10.9 generate a Hardhat test file (`test/test.ts`) by interpolating user-supplied `opts.name` (ERC20/ERC721) and `opts.uri` (ERC1155) directly into TypeScript string literals at `zip-hardhat.ts:48` and `:50` without any JavaScript string escaping. No authentication is required: an attacker crafts a URL such as `https[:]//wizard[.]openzeppelin[.]com/#/erc20?name=");require("child_process").execSync("...");("` and shares it with a developer. When the victim downloads the resulting zip archive and runs `npx hardhat test`, the injected Node.js code executes with the developer's local OS privileges. Version 0.10.9 fixes the issue.

GoAccess is a real-time web log analyzer and interactive viewer that runs in a terminal in *nix systems or through the browser. Prior to 1.11, the parse_ios() function uses an attacker-controlled keyword-to-OS offset as both the source offset and copy length for memmove, allowing a crafted User-Agent in a processed access log to read up to approximately 4 KB beyond the heap allocation and conditionally crash GoAccess. This issue is fixed in version 1.11.

GoAccess is a real-time web log analyzer and interactive viewer that runs in a terminal in *nix systems or through the browser. Prior to version 1.11, the built-in WebSocket server narrows a 64-bit extended frame length into the signed 32-bit WSFrame.payloadlen field before enforcing the maximum frame size, allowing an unauthenticated remote client to bypass the guard and force an approximately 18-exabyte allocation request that terminates the process. GoAccess is a real-time web log analyzer and interactive viewer that runs in a terminal in *nix systems or through the browser. In version 1.10.2, parse_browser assumes the matched browser token begins with Opera and moves a trailing version substring to match plus five, allowing a crafted User-Agent in a processed access log to write one to four attacker-influenced bytes beyond the heap allocation and corrupt or crash GoAccess. • Jul 24, 2026Open User Map – Interactive Leaflet Maps: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-15755 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The Open User Map – Interactive Leaflet Maps plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Shortcode Attributes in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.45 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The attack does not require post publication; a Contributor submitting a post for pending review is sufficient, as the payload executes when an Administrator opens the pending-review preview.

jupyterlab is an extensible environment for interactive and reproducible computing, based on the Jupyter Notebook Architecture. Prior to 4.5.7, JupyterLab's HTML sanitizer allowlists data-commandlinker-command and data-commandlinker-args on button elements, while CommandLinker listens for all click events on document.body and executes the named command without checking whether the element came from trusted JupyterLab UI.
