  • Oct 14, 2026RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker.CVE-2026-67418 · Other software · rabbitmq · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 3.13.0 until 3.13.19, 4.0.24, 4.1.15, 4.2.10, and 4.3.5, the MQTT 5 parser in deps/rabbitmq_mqtt/src/rabbit_mqtt_packet.erl accepts Request-Problem-Information on PUBLISH packets even though the property is valid only for CONNECT. An authenticated publisher with topic write permission can cause the broker to store and route that inapplicable property to a separately authenticated matching subscriber. When the subscriber path serializes the outbound PUBLISH, serialise_prop/2 has no matching clause, and the uncontained function_clause exception closes the victim MQTT or Web MQTT connection. The publisher connection and broker remain available, and queued replay, retained-message persistence, and broker-wide denial of service were not established. This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.19, 4.0.24, 4.1.15, 4.2.10, and 4.3.5.

  • Oct 14, 2026RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker.CVE-2026-67416 · Other software · rabbitmq · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 4.0.0 until 4.0.24, 4.1.15, 4.2.10, and 4.3.4, the optimized AMQP 1.0 server_mode parser in deps/amqp10_common/src/amqp10_binary_parser.erl matches the textual prefixes of symbolic data, sequence, and value body descriptors without verifying their encoded symbol lengths. An authenticated AMQP 1.0 publisher with write permission can submit a well-formed unknown descriptor that begins with a registered body descriptor, and RabbitMQ misclassifies and stores the bytes as a standard body section. Strict AMQP 1.0 consumers can terminate while decoding the stored entry. For bodies misclassified as data, AMQP 0-9-1 or other cross-protocol conversion performs full body decoding and can terminate the consumer protocol process, with acknowledgement-required delivery permitting repeated failures. Sequence and value classifications are normally transported as opaque encoded payloads on that conversion path. The broker remains alive, and the issue does not bypass routing or authorization. This issue is fixed in versions 4.0.24, 4.1.15, 4.2.10, and 4.3.4.

  • Oct 14, 2026RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker.CVE-2026-67414 · Other software · rabbitmq · reported by GitHubMedium 6

RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 4.0.0 until 4.0.24, 4.1.15, 4.2.10, and 4.3.4, deps/amqp10_common/src/amqp10_binary_parser.erl materializes each element of AMQP 1.0 arrays whose shared constructor has zero width, while limiting only the number of elements in each array and not the aggregate arrays in a frame. After completing SASL authentication, a low-privilege client can send an ordinary frame containing many individually permitted arrays, causing a small frame to expand into a very large reader-process heap before later frame validation or authorization. Because deps/rabbit/src/rabbit_amqp_reader.erl clears the pre-authentication max_heap_size guard after login, repeated or concurrent frames can trigger the node-wide memory alarm, block publishers, or exhaust broker memory. This issue is fixed in versions 4.0.24, 4.1.15, 4.2.10, and 4.3.4.

  • Sep 25, 2026RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker.CVE-2026-67421 · Other software · rabbitmq · reported by GitHubMedium 4.5

RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 3.13.0 until 3.13.19, 4.0.24, 4.1.15, 4.2.10, and 4.3.5, RabbitMQ Management rendered an AMQP authorization-error reason containing an attacker-controlled queue name as HTML when the OAuth management UI was enabled. Exploitation requires an attacker with queue configure permission, a management administrator who can see but cannot read that queue, and the administrator clicking Get Message(s). A queue name containing a base element can then retarget the automatic relative refresh because the Content Security Policy omits base-uri and connect-src, and an attacker endpoint that permits the management origin through CORS can receive the victim's Authorization header. This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.19, 4.0.24, 4.1.15, 4.2.10, and 4.3.5.

RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 3.13.0 until 3.13.19, 4.0.24, 4.1.15, 4.2.10, and 4.3.5, RabbitMQ OAuth credential refresh retains revoked runtime tags. when an existing AMQP connection refreshes from an OAuth token that grants the impersonator tag to a valid same-username token that no longer grants that tag, RabbitMQ updates the OAuth backend implementation (token/scopes/expiry) but leaves the connection's runtime #user.tags unchanged. rabbitaccesscontrol:checkuserid/2 then still honors the stale impersonator tag, so the connection (including newly opened channels) can continue publishing messages with a foreign AMQP userid after that privilege should have been revoked. A fresh connection using the downgraded token correctly refuses the same publish, proving the defect is stale session state rather than the token Limited to connections that once held impersonator and successfully refresh to a downgraded same-username rabbitauthbackendoauth2 (or an equivalent refresh-capable backend that returns tags) is enabled for This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.19, 4.0.24, 4.1.15, 4.2.10, and 4.3.5.

RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to 4.3.5, an authenticated user who can bind a queue to a topic exchange and publish to it can use consecutive # segments in a binding key to make both topic matchers revisit the same trie-node and routing-key-suffix states without memoization. The matcher materializes duplicate destinations before deduplication, causing combinatorial CPU work and memory pressure that can disrupt routing for all tenants. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.3.5.

  • Sep 25, 2026RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker.CVE-2026-67415 · Other software · rabbitmq · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9

RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 4.2.0 until 4.2.9 and 4.3.3, the Shovel parameter parser converted attacker-controlled runtime parameter values into non-garbage-collected Erlang atoms before bounding them or checking a fixed allowlist. Exploitation requires network access to the Management HTTP API, valid credentials with both the management and policymaker tags, permission to set Shovel runtime parameters on a vhost, and the rabbitmq_shovel and rabbitmq_shovel_management plugins to be enabled. The attacker can exhaust the node-wide atom table and deny service, and malicious parameters are stored durably and reparsed when workers start, so atom pressure can recur after restart without a live attacker connection. This issue is fixed in versions 4.2.9 and 4.3.3.

RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 4.0.0 until 4.0.23, 4.1.14, 4.2.9, and 4.3.3, the optional rabbitmq_jms_topic_exchange plugin's x-jms-topic exchange accepted a client-controlled rjms_erlang_selector binding expression whose LIKE evaluator expanded percent and underscore wildcards into overlapping PCRE fragments. It executed those fragments with raw re:run/3 without match or recursion limits, allowing an authenticated tenant that can bind and publish to consume broker scheduler CPU and deny service with pathological selectors. RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 3.13.0 until 3.13.18, 4.0.23, 4.1.14, 4.2.9, and 4.3.3, native MQTT and MQTT over WebSocket behind a trusted PROXY Protocol frontend could lose the proxy-derived client address before the MQTT authentication path checked loopback_users, causing the frontend-to-broker address to be treated as loopback. An attacker who can reach the trusted frontend and has valid credentials for a loopback-restricted account can therefore bypass the source-address restriction; the issue does not bypass password authentication. The advisory establishes affected 3.13, 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, and 4.3 maintenance lines but contains conflicting first-fixed versions for the 3.13, 4.0, and 4.1 lines. fill/2 substitutes ${username} into user_dn_pattern without RFC 4514 DN escaping, allowing a crafted username to alter the LDAP bind DN and potentially select a different directory entry. Exploitation requires rabbitmq_auth_backend_ldap with a user_dn_pattern containing ${username}, a directory layout in which the injected suffix resolves usefully, and a password valid for the resulting DN. The advisory body identifies 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.9, and 4.3.3 as fixed, while structured metadata identifies 3.13.18, 4.0.23, 4.1.14, 4.2.9, and 4.3.3. No fixed-version assertion is certifiable until a curator resolves this conflict.

RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 4.0.0 until 4.3.3, 4.2.9, 4.1.14, and 4.0.23, AMQP 1.0 management GET /bindings exposes full binding topology to any authenticated AMQP user without resource/management permission checks. the AMQP 1.0 HTTP-over-AMQP management endpoint GET /bindings (the rabbitamqpmanagement handler) enumerates bindings between an arbitrary source exchange and destination queue/exchange in the caller's virtual host without performing any resource-level permission check. Unlike every sibling operation in the same module (which call checkresourceaccess / bindingchecks), the GET handler ignores the authenticated User and returns the binding list unchanged. As a result, any authenticated AMQP 1.0 client that can open a management link pair , including users with no management/monitoring/policymaker/administrator tag , can enumerate the complete binding topology (source exchanges, destination queues/exchanges, routing keys, and binding arguments) of the virtual host they can access. From 4.2.0 until 4.2.8 and 4.3.2, a successful POST /login caused is_authorized/2 to set an auth cookie containing base64-encoded username:password credentials without HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite, or expiration protections. Because base64 is encoding rather than encryption, an attacker with same-origin cross-site scripting, an HTTP-readable network position, or local access to the browser cookie store could recover the actual login credentials; older browsers that treated an absent SameSite attribute as None also sent the cookie cross-site. Prior to versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.1, The shovel management resource's is_authorized/2 delegates to rabbit_mgmt_util:is_authorized_monitor/2, which accepts the monitoring tag. Prior to versions 4.2.7 and 4.3.1, pattern_to_regex maps % -> .*? and _ -> ., then compiles ^...$ with only [unicode]; re:run is called with only [{capture, none}] - no explicit match_limit. A pattern like %_%_..._%X becomes ^.*?..*?.....*?.X$ with overlapping lazy quantifiers. The whole-expression cap is ?MAX_EXPRESSION_LENGTH=4096 chars / ?MAX_TOKENS=200; a LIKE string literal is one token, so ~2000 %_ pairs fit. SQL filters are accepted unconditionally at rabbit_amqp_session.erl:3264 (no feature flag). Evaluated per-message at rabbit_stream_queue.erl:1439. OTP's default 10M match_limit caps each match at ~100-200 ms (not seconds), and the re NIF yields to the scheduler. RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to versions 4.3.0, 4.2.6, 4.1.11, 4.0.20, and 3.13.15, The content-header BodySize (a uint64) was stored without validation against max_message_size. The size check ran only when assembly completed. By declaring body_size = 2^63-1 and then streaming fragments, a client ensured that check_msg_size never fired, so the accumulated body size went unbounded. A reader process accumulates memory until the memory alarm fires, degrading all publishers cluster-wide, or until the node runs out of memory. The memory alarm provides only partial mitigation, since it is reactive rather than preventive. AMQP 0-9-1 is the most widely used protocol, and any publisher can trigger this condition. Prior to versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.0, The cowboy WebSocket options at line 117 set compress => true, enabling RFC 7692 permessage-deflate negotiation. The handler does not set max_frame_size, so cowboy's default of infinity applies. cowlib's cow_ws:parse_payload/9 calls zlib:inflate/2 on the compressed payload with no output-size limit. An attacker can negotiate permessage-deflate during the WebSocket upgrade and send a frame containing a zlib bomb (e.g. 50 KB → 5 GB). Decompression occurs in the connection process before websocket_handle/2 ever sees the MQTT bytes. An unauthenticated attacker can crash a RabbitMQ node running the Web-MQTT plugin by sending a single highly-compressed WebSocket frame (a few KB on the wire) that inflates to gigabytes in memory. The cowboy WebSocket handler decompresses the entire frame before the MQTT CONNECT packet is processed, so no credentials are required. Preconditions include rabbitmq_web_mqtt plugin enabled (not default, but common for browser clients) Network reachability to port 15675/15676 No authentication required. Prior to versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.0, The trust-store plugin installs a verify_fun that overrides {bad_cert, unknown_ca} / {bad_cert, selfsigned_peer} when the presented cert "matches" a whitelisted one. The match key is extract_issuer_id/1 → public_key:pkix_issuer_id/2 → {IssuerName, SerialNumber} , both fields are taken verbatim from the presented certificate body and contain no public-key, SKI, fingerprint or signature material. is_whitelisted/1 is a pure ets:member lookup; the stored full DER is used only for list/0 display and is never compared against the presented cert. cacerts is [], so the whitelisted cert is never used as a trust anchor for path validation either. TLS client-authentication bypass: an attacker who knows the issuer DN + serial of any whitelisted certificate can connect with a forged self-signed cert. RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to versions 4.2.7 and 4.3.1, The runtime-parameters lookup path coerces the URL :component segment to an atom with rabbit_data_coercion:to_atom/1 in lookup_component/1 (deps/rabbit/src/rabbit_runtime_parameters.erl), creating a new atom for any previously unseen value. A safe helper, rabbit_registry:binary_to_type/1, which uses binary_to_existing_atom with a catch, already exists but is not used at this call site. lookup_component/1 calls rabbit_data_coercion:to_atom(Component) on the :component segment of the request URL, converting an attacker-supplied string into a new atom. Because the Erlang atom table is bounded and atoms are never garbage collected, an authorized policymaker issuing roughly one million requests with distinct component values can exhaust the atom table and crash the node, resulting in a denial of service. Preconditions include Exploitation requires policymaker privileges and roughly one million requests.. This issue is fixed in versions 4.2.7 and 4.3.1.

Prior to versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, 4.3.0, When a binding is created on an x-jms-topic exchange, add_binding/3 reads the rjms_erlang_selector argument and passes it through erl_scan:string/1 then erl_parse:parse_term/1. erl_scan:string/1 interns every atom literal it tokenizes. validate_binding/2 is a no-op (-> ok.), there is no length cap, and the surrounding try/catch cannot reclaim atoms. RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.0, add_binding/3 parses the routing key as an integer weight N and computes ring positions with lists:seq(NextN0, NextN0 + N - 1). validate_binding/2 only checks N >= 1 , no upper bound. The resulting list is stored in the exchange's Khepri record, replicated cluster-wide, and reloaded on restart. A user with write permission on a consistent-hash exchange and read on a queue can create a binding whose routing key (the hash-ring weight) is an arbitrarily large integer. The broker allocates a list of that many integers via lists:seq/2 and persists it to Khepri across all cluster nodes , a single binding with weight 100000000 allocates ~800 MB on every node and survives restarts. Preconditions include rabbitmq_consistent_hash_exchange plugin enabled write permission on a consistent-hash exchange + read on a queue (standard binding perms). Prior to versions 4.0.22, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.0, accept_content/2 at line 56 calls rabbit_stream_manager:create_super_stream/... directly after is_authorized (which only checks the management tag + vhost access via is_authorized_vhost). The stream-protocol equivalent (rabbit_stream_reader.erl create_super_stream handler) calls rabbit_stream_utils:check_super_stream_management_permitted/4 which enforces configure on the exchange and each partition queue. The HTTP handler omits this call entirely. A user with management tag and vhost access , but no configure permission on any resource , can create super-streams (an exchange + N partition stream queues + bindings) via the HTTP API. Prior to versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, and 4.2.6, The management UI uses EJS 1.0 in which <%= ... %> does NOT HTML-escape. connection.ejs:135 renders <%= connection.ssl_details.peer_cert_subject %> (and peer_cert_issuer) directly into the page. The same pattern appears in streamConnection.ejs:102,106,110. The values come from rabbit_ssl:peer_cert_subject/1 which formats the DN as a string without HTML escaping. The verifier corrected the original researcher's claim: this is reachable only when the listener is configured with verify_peer (so the certificate must be signed by a CA in the broker's trust store, not arbitrary self-signed); however, in deployments using mTLS for client authentication, any user who can request a certificate from the organisational CA controls the Subject CN. An attacker who can obtain a TLS client certificate signed by a CA the broker trusts (with verify_peer enabled) can embed JavaScript in the certificate's Subject DN. RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.0, match_value/3 passes the user-supplied ?name= regular expression to re:run with no match_limit option, and executes it once per resource in the result set. OTP's default 10M match_limit caps each call at roughly 100-200ms, but the regex runs once per resource in the result set. With a large set, for example 5000 queues at 150ms each, a single request consumes 12 or more minutes of CPU. Parallel requests saturate the schedulers. The use_regex=true option is a supported feature on list endpoints, so this path is reachable through normal API use. Preconditions include Any user with the management tag can exploit this.. This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.0.

RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.1, get_chunk_selector/1 calls binary_to_atom on the raw client-supplied <<"chunk_selector">> property from post-auth subscribe and resolve_offset_spec frames, with no whitelist and no existing guard. An authenticated stream client with read access to any stream can crash the broker node. Preconditions include rabbitmq_stream plugin enabled Authenticated stream-protocol user with read access to at least one stream. This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.1.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
