  • Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: arm64: Fix AArch32 DBGBXVR<n> handling The consolidation of the breakpoint and watchpCVE-2026-98469 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.1

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: arm64: Fix AArch32 DBGBXVR<n> handling The consolidation of the breakpoint and watchpoint register accessors switched DBGBXVR<n> from trap_bvr() to trap_dbg_wb_reg(). The latter selects backing storage with demux_wb_reg(), which only handles Op2 values 4 through 7. Since DBGBXVR<n> uses Op2 1, an AArch32 guest access hits KVM_BUG_ON() and marks the VM dead. DBGBXVR<n> aliases DBGBVR<n>_EL1[63:32], and its AA32(HI) descriptor already selects the upper half. Map Op2 1 to dbg_bvr[] alongside Op2 4, restoring the pre-regression behavior.

  • Oct 13, 2026H3C HDM Family-A verifies the RSA signature of a firmware image against a public key it reads from the mutable file `/conf/public.pem`.CVE-2026-65197 · Other software · H3C · reported by 44488dab-36db-4358-99f9-bc116477f914Low 3.1

H3C HDM Family-A verifies the RSA signature of a firmware image against a public key it reads from the mutable file `/conf/public.pem`. That file is writable by an authenticated Redfish client through the `UpdateService.UploadSignKey` action, which stores the uploaded body verbatim after validating only that the multipart filename ends in `.pem`. An administrator, or any account with `firmware-update` privilege, can therefore replace the trust anchor with their own key, sign a malicious image with the matching private key, and have it pass verification. Family-A has no hardware root-of-trust (no PFR) to catch the substituted key.  This was observed on H3C HDM Family-A G5 HDM 6.14.01. H3C HDM Family-A G3/G5 builds carrying the Redfish/DRE update tree appear to be affected. HDM2 uses a different update path and is not covered by this finding.

  • Oct 2, 2026H3C CVM, the Cloud Virtualization Management component of the H3C CAS cloud platform, contains an unauthenticated arbitrary file upload vulnerability in the /caCVE-2023-54405 · Other software · H3C · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.3

H3C CVM, the Cloud Virtualization Management component of the H3C CAS cloud platform, contains an unauthenticated arbitrary file upload vulnerability in the /cas/fileUpload/upload endpoint that allows remote attackers to write arbitrary files by manipulating the caller-supplied token parameter without restricting path traversal or file type. Attackers can exploit the path traversal in the token parameter to upload a malicious JSP file into a web-accessible directory and then request it to achieve remote code execution as the web-server user. Exploitation evidence was first observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2023-10-14.

h3 (npm package) versions <= 2.0.1-rc.14 contain a path traversal vulnerability in serveStatic(). On Node.js deployments, event.url.pathname is not normalized, so percent-encoded dot segments (%2e%2e) are passed to decodeURI() and decoded to ../ sequences without sanitization. An unauthenticated remote attacker can send crafted requests to endpoints served by serveStatic() to read arbitrary files outside the intended static directory. Fixed in 1.15.6 and 2.0.1-rc.15.

h3 versions before 1.15.9 fail to sanitize carriage return characters in EventStream data and comment fields, allowing attackers to inject arbitrary SSE events by including unsanitized carriage returns. Attackers can inject event type directives, split single push calls into multiple browser-parsed events, or escape comment fields to inject data, bypassing the prior CVE fix that only addressed newline injection.

  • Sep 6, 2026h3 versions before 1.15.9 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the serveStatic utility.CVE-2026-86251 · Other software · h3js · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.2

h3 versions before 1.15.9 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the serveStatic utility. A double-decoding flaw allows a request path containing double-encoded dot sequences (e.g. %252e%252e) to be decoded to %2e%2e, which survives resolveDotSegments() because that function only checks for literal '.' characters. When the resulting asset ID is resolved by URL-based backends (CDN, S3, object storage), %2e%2e is interpreted as '..' per RFC 3986, enabling path traversal to read arbitrary files from the backend.

h3 versions before 2.0.1-rc.18 fail to validate the chunk count parsed from user-controlled cookie values in setChunkedCookie() and deleteChunkedCookie() functions. The affected object interfaces and methods are esps.dhcpd.vlan (getlist, delete), esps.filter.url (add, modify), esps.apcm.version (delete, H3C Magic NX15 only), esps.swcm.version (delete, upgrade, all affected models except H3C Magic NX15), and esps.system.ntp (set, all affected models except H3C Magic NX15). Attacker-controlled request parameters are incorporated into shell expressions executed by eval without adequate validation, allowing a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands as root and gain complete control of the affected device.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: spi: ch341: fix devres lifetime USB drivers bind to USB interfaces and any device managed resources should have their lifetime tied to the interface rather than parent USB device. This avoids issues like memory leaks when drivers are unbound without their devices being physically disconnected (e.g. on probe deferral or configuration changes). Fix the controller and driver data lifetime so that they are released on driver unbind. Note that this also makes sure that the SPI controller is placed correctly under the USB interface in the device tree.

Also add an explicit URB kill on disconnect for symmetry (even if that is not strictly required as USB core would have stopped it in the current setup).

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_conntrack_h323: fix OOB read in decode_choice() In decode_choice(), the boundary check before get_len() uses the variable `len`, which is still 0 from its initialization at the top of the function: unsigned int type, ext, len = 0; ... if (ext || (son->attr & OPEN)) { BYTE_ALIGN(bs); if (nf_h323_error_boundary(bs, len, 0)) /* len is 0 here */ return H323_ERROR_BOUND; len = get_len(bs); /* OOB read */ When the bitstream is exactly consumed (bs->cur == bs->end), the check nf_h323_error_boundary(bs, 0, 0) evaluates to (bs->cur + 0 > bs->end), which is false. The subsequent get_len() call then dereferences *bs->cur++, reading 1 byte past the end of the buffer. If that byte has bit 7 set, get_len() reads a second byte as well. This can be triggered remotely by sending a crafted Q.931 SETUP message with a User-User Information Element containing exactly 2 bytes of PER-encoded data ({0x08, 0x00}) to port 1720 through a firewall with the nf_conntrack_h323 helper active. The decoder fully consumes the PER buffer before reaching this
