  • Oct 28, 2026Ember is a real-time terminal dashboard for Caddy servers with FrankenPHP support.CVE-2026-54162 · Other software · alexandre-daubois · reported by GitHubMedium 4.7

Ember is a real-time terminal dashboard for Caddy servers with FrankenPHP support. Prior to 1.4.2, interactive TUI row formatters pass Caddy access-log fields, particularly the request URI, through the `fitCellLeft` render helper without neutralizing terminal escape or control sequences. An unauthenticated remote client can place ANSI, OSC, or CSI control bytes in an ordinary HTTP request target. Caddy JSON-escapes those bytes, `ParseLogLine` decodes them back into raw controls, and the formatters concatenate them into `View()` output reaching `os.Stdout`. When the operator views the default `Logs` tab, the terminal interprets these sequences, allowing monitoring-dashboard spoofing, clipboard hijacking through `OSC 52`, and window-title spoofing through `OSC 0/2`. This works even with a loopback-only log listener because the input arrives through normal Caddy access logs. `Certificates` and `Routes` share secondary unneutralized render sinks. The `--json`, `--once`, and daemon `--expose` modes are unaffected because they do not render an interactive terminal. Consequences depend on the terminal emulator and usually require further operator action to escalate; this is not general-pu

  • Oct 28, 2026MemberPress: Cross-Site Request ForgeryCVE-2026-92797 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The MemberPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to, and including, 1.14.1. This is due to a bypassable nonce verification check in the save_profile_fields() function that uses an isset() condition at line 1119, allowing the security check to be completely bypassed by simply omitting the nonce parameter from the request. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to change authenticated users' email addresses via a forged request granted they can trick an authenticated user into performing an action such as clicking on a link, leading to account takeover through password reset functionality.

The s2Member – Excellent for All Kinds of Memberships, Content Restriction Paywalls & Member Access Subscriptions plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'date_format' parameter in all versions up to, and including, <= 261011 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The payload bypasses wp_kses_post() on save because it contains no literal angle brackets — only backslash-escaped sequences that PHP's date() materializes into HTML tag characters at render time after WordPress's shortcode_parse_atts() applies stripcslashes() to the attribute value.

The Ultimate Member – User Profile, Registration, Login, Member Directory, Content Restriction & Membership Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'user_url' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.14.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Because the filter that strips protected content for non-members is only attached during normal front-end request handling and not during REST API requests, an unauthenticated attacker can retrieve the raw member-only content in a post or page’s rendered content, bypassing the plugin’s content protection.

  • Oct 27, 2026Qode Membership: Authentication Bypass leading to Account TakeoverCVE-2026-92885 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The Qode Membership plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass leading to Account Takeover in all versions up to, and including, 2.0.6.2 via the qode_membership_check_facebook_user AJAX action. This is due to a typographic error in the Facebook OAuth token verification guard within the qode_membership_login_user_from_social_network function — the guard condition tests an undefined variable ($check_social_useqoder instead of $check_social_user), causing empty() to always return true and rendering the Graph API token verification branch dead code, leaving wp_set_auth_cookie() reachable with no credential or token validation whatsoever. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to log in as any existing WordPress account — including Administrator-level accounts — by supplying a known or enumerated administrator login name (rather than an email address) in the response[email] parameter, which the fallback path in get_user_by('login', $email) resolves to the matching account. Exploitation does require harvesting a valid qode_validate_facebook_login nonce, but this nonce is rendered on any public front-end page containing the [qode_user_login] or [qode_user_re

The Discovery naming-service reply parser in Apache bRPC (versions < 1.18.0) calls RapidJSON object-only accessors (FindMember) on JSON values without first validating that those values are objects. A malformed Discovery response whose data/service members or instances list contain non-object entries (e.g. a bare integer) triggers the RapidJSON object-access precondition on the client, reading memory out of bounds and potentially crashing the bRPC client. Root Cause: In src/brpc/policy/discovery_naming_service.cpp, DiscoveryNamingService::GetServers() and DiscoveryNames::ListDiscoveryNodes() access JSON values with member functions on non-object values. RapidJSON only defines these operations for object types; invoking them on a non-object violates the class invariant and results in undefined behavior (out-of-bounds read), commonly crashing the process. Affected Scenarios: An operator-configured (or compromised) Discovery backend returns a malformed /discovery/nodes or /discovery/fetchs response whose data/service/instance entries are not JSON objects, crashing any bRPC client that refreshes its server list. How to Fix: 1. Upgrade bRPC to version 1.18.0 or later, which fixes th

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firewire: cdev: fix back-transition for iso_resource_auto client resource The todo member of iso_resource_auto structure represents the state of the client resource and normally transitions in the following order: ISO_RES_AUTO_ALLOC -> ISO_RES_AUTO_REALLOC -> ISO_RES_AUTO_DEALLOC However, concurrent access from the work item and the file descriptor release function can cause the state to transition backwards from ISO_RES_AUTO_DEALLOC to ISO_RES_AUTO_REALLOC.
