  • Oct 28, 2026Xibo is an open source digital signage platform with a web content management system and Windows display player software.CVE-2026-50543 · Other software · xibosignage · reported by GitHubMedium 4.3

Xibo is an open source digital signage platform with a web content management system and Windows display player software. Prior to 4.4.3, missing authorization on `POST /displaygroup/criteria/{displayGroupId}` allows an authenticated user to send criteria updates to any display via `XMR`. These criteria determine schedule changes and can alter playback, for example by causing content scheduled for rainy weather to play when it is not raining. Exploitation requires `Schedule Criteria` to be in use on the CMS. This issue is fixed in version 4.4.3.

  • Oct 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: Fix NULL sink dereference in USB4 bandwidth functions allocate_usb4_bandwCVE-2026-99151 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: Fix NULL sink dereference in USB4 bandwidth functions allocate_usb4_bandwidth_for_stream() and allocate_usb4_bandwidth() both use ASSERT(stream->sink) before dereferencing stream->sink->link. ASSERT is compiled out in production builds, so a NULL stream->sink causes a NULL pointer dereference. link_set_dpms_off() already guards two earlier accesses to stream->sink with explicit NULL checks, confirming that stream->sink can legitimately be NULL. The subsequent call to deallocate_usb4_bandwidth() had no equivalent guard. Replace the ASSERT() calls with proper NULL checks that return false early, and add a matching stream->sink guard at the call site in link_set_dpms_off() consistent with the surrounding pattern. v2: Keep the existing ASSERT() calls for diagnostics (to report unexpected NULL sink), and add explicit NULL checks that return false before dereferencing stream->sink. Also add a matching stream->sink guard at the deallocation call site in link_set_dpms_off(). (Alex) (cherry picked from commit 98029a0ce61feb52c563f65349dd9b25f672e355)

  • Oct 28, 2026affiliate-toolkit – Multi-Network Affiliate & Amazon Product Display: Arbitrary File UploadCVE-2026-111255 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The affiliate-toolkit – Multi-Network Affiliate & Amazon Product Display plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 3.9.2 via the upload_image function. This is due to insufficient file type validation in upload_image due to a weak Content-Type prefix check and extension derivation from the attacker-controlled URL path, with no dangerous-extension stripping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. Exploitation requires the "import product image" option to be enabled in the plugin settings, as this activates the image download pipeline triggered on product post save.

  • Oct 27, 2026affiliate-toolkit – Multi-Network Affiliate & Amazon Product Display: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-111314 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The affiliate-toolkit – Multi-Network Affiliate & Amazon Product Display plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'atkp_product_producturl' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.9.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation by unauthenticated attackers requires that the plugin's AJAX loading / AJAX handler option is enabled (atkp_options::get_ajax_loading_enabled() || get_ajax_handler_enabled()) and the attacker knows a product id to render. On a default installation, where that is not configured, the vulnerability requires attackers with contributor-level access and above.

  • Oct 27, 2026When a message containing an OpenPGP key attachment was displayed, Thunderbird automatically loaded the attachment's content to offer importing the key.CVE-2026-118174 · Computers, phones & browsers · Mozilla · reported by security@mozilla.org

When a message containing an OpenPGP key attachment was displayed, Thunderbird automatically loaded the attachment's content to offer importing the key. A sender could mark the attachment as an external attachment pointing to an arbitrary URL, which Thunderbird then loaded without any user interaction, bypassing remote content blocking. On Windows, a URL pointing to an attacker-controlled network share could leak the user's NTLM credentials. The NTLM credential leak only affects Thunderbird on Windows. On other operating systems, the issue allowed a remote request that bypassed remote content blocking. This vulnerability was fixed in Thunderbird 159 and Thunderbird 153.6.

The Advanced Views – Display Framework for Gutenberg & Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'comment' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.9.6 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This vulnerability is exploitable even against pending or unapproved comments, as the plugin's get_comment() lookup applies no approval-status filter, meaning a payload executes for any visitor loading an avf-layout block bound to the attacker's comment ID before the comment is ever reviewed.

  • Oct 23, 2026The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser.CVE-2026-55486 · Other software · intranda · reported by GitHubCritical 9.3

The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser. From version 25.08 to before version 26.05, the IIIF Auth 2.0 endpoints auth/login and auth/token in AuthorizationFlowResource accept an origin query parameter without validation and then (1) embed it into the Content-Security-Policy: frame-ancestors response header and (2) embed it into an HTML response body as a JavaScript single-quoted postMessage argument. Because the attacker controls both the login and token calls that initiate the flow, the unescaped value yields reflected XSS. This issue has been patched in version 26.05.

  • Oct 23, 2026The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser.CVE-2026-55465 · Other software · intranda · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser. From version 22.04 to before version 26.05, the unauthenticated REST endpoint GET /api/v1/index/{solrField}/spatial/search concatenates the user-supplied region query parameter directly into a Solr query string with no escaping, no local-param stripping, and no runtime schema enforcement (the OpenAPI @Schema(pattern=...) annotation is documentation-only at the JAX-RS layer). An attacker can inject Solr local-param syntax ({!parent ...}, {!join ...}) and boolean operators to make access-restricted georeferenced records match the query, bypassing the access-condition filter. This issue has been patched in version 26.05.

  • Oct 23, 2026The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser.CVE-2026-55463 · Other software · intranda · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser. From version 4.11.0 to before version 26.05, several Jakarta WebSocket endpoints in goobi-viewer-core (DownloadTaskEndpoint, CampaignEndpoint, AutocompleteEndpoint, UserEndpoint) accept connections without verifying that the associated HttpSession belongs to a logged-in user, and none validate the Origin header against an allowlist. An unauthenticated attacker can therefore connect to these endpoints; through CampaignEndpoint this allows polluting the in-process crowdsourcing page-lock map and broadcasting forged lock messages, disrupting reviewers' work. This issue has been patched in version 26.05.

  • Oct 23, 2026The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser.CVE-2026-55459 · Other software · intranda · reported by GitHubHigh 7.4

The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser. From version 25.01 to before version 26.05, AuthenticationEndpoint.verifyOpenIdToken builds its verifier as JWT.require(algorithm).withIssuer(issuer).build() and does not enforce the aud claim during cryptographic validation. The aud check is performed manually afterwards via a single string-equality call, which only handles single-string aud values. In a multi-RP IdP setup, a token whose single-string aud matches the viewer's client ID but was issued for a different relying party passes the check and authenticates the attacker as the token's sub. The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser. Prior to version 26.05, Configuration.getWebApiToken returns the empty string when webapi.authorization.token is not configured. AuthorizationFilter compares the supplied token against this default without first checking that the configured token is non-empty. A request to any @AuthorizationBinding-protected endpoint with an empty ?token= value is therefore accepted. This issue has been patched in version 26.05.

  • Oct 23, 2026The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser.CVE-2026-55444 · Other software · intranda · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser. Prior to version 26.05, the legacy RSS servlet (RssResolver, GET /rss/) accepts the q and filterQuery parameters and concatenates them into Solr queries without validation. The servlet predates the REST API layer and lacks the input validation present in GET /api/v1/records/rss. q forms the main query body (wrapped only in literal parentheses); filterQuery is passed directly as a Solr fq. An unauthenticated attacker can inject Solr boolean operators to break out of the wrapping and render the trailing access-condition filter-query suffix optional, so that access-restricted records are included in the generated RSS feed. The q and filterQuery parameters are the same underlying vulnerability in the same servlet; q (the main query body) has the broader scope. This issue has been patched in version 26.05.

  • Oct 23, 2026The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser.CVE-2026-55442 · Other software · intranda · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser. From version 23.03 to before version 26.05, SolrTools.cleanUpQuery() strips Solr local-parameter syntax ({!...}) from user-supplied query strings before they reach Solr. Its regex can be bypassed by wrapping the local parameter in a second pair of curly braces ({{!...}}): the outer braces are stripped, the inner {!...} survives intact, and a valid Solr local parameter is forwarded. The flaw is in the shared sanitizer, so it affects any endpoint that routes user input through cleanUpQuery. The double-brace bypass applies from v23.10 (the greedy \{(.+)\} regex); a related bare-!join rewrap path is present. This issue has been patched in version 26.05.

  • Oct 23, 2026The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser.CVE-2026-46652 · Other software · intranda · reported by GitHubCritical 9.8

The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser. From version 24.03 to before version 26.05, ExternalFilesDownloader.getFilename() extracts the destination filename from a server-supplied Content-Disposition response header and passes it directly to Path.resolve() without stripping directory components. This allows for a malicious HTTP server that the viewer fetches from to supply an absolute path or ../ traversal sequences as the filename, writing attacker-controlled content to an arbitrary path writable by the Tomcat process. When targeting the deployed web-application directory, this yields remote code execution as the tomcat OS user. This issue has been patched in version 26.05.

A CSS sanitization vulnerability in Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) allows an authenticated user with Briefcase access to publish a document that displays attacker-controlled content under the Zimbra origin. When processing a stylesheet containing non-ASCII characters, DefangFilter appends the final ASCII segment without sanitizing it. HTML stored as application/x-zimbra-doc can therefore retain CSS URL references that the normal sanitizer removes. An attacker can share a crafted document that loads external resources and displays a credential-collection form using Zimbra's own visual assets. Exploitation requires the victim to open the document in a browser that renders the content type inline; credential theft additionally requires form submission. ZCS 10.1.16 and 10.1.20 are affected.

Prior to version 1.39.4, an unauthenticated user can trigger Lookyloo's "report a capture" email on demand (this is expected). The /json/<uuid>/report API endpoint (CaptureReport) is incorrectly passing the email and comment parameters, overwriting as_admin. When True, as_admin will trigger a search query on a MISP instance (if configured) and add a list of matching URLs in the email sent to the analyst (not the submitter, so there is no risk of leaking information) . It could potentially cause a DoS on the MISP instance. This issue has been patched in version 1.39.4.

  • Oct 21, 2026In Splunk SOAR versions below 8.7.0, a user that holds a role with the install_apps capability could store attacker-controlled content that Splunk SOAR displaysCVE-2026-76303 · Other software · Splunk · reported by psirt@cisco.comMedium 5.7

In Splunk SOAR versions below 8.7.0, a user that holds a role with the install_apps capability could store attacker-controlled content that Splunk SOAR displays in app documentation by installing an app. If another user who holds a role with permission to view apps opens the app documentation, Splunk SOAR could run that content in the browser of the user who opened the app documentation. With this access, the first user could access data and make changes that the user who opened the app documentation could make. The vulnerability is possible because Splunk SOAR does not sanitize app documentation content before it displays that content. The vulnerability requires the attacker to phish the affected user by tricking them into initiating a request within their browser. The user that holds a role with the install_apps capability should not be able to exploit the vulnerability at will. For more information see Manage roles and permissions in Splunk SOAR (On-premises) (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-soar/soar-on-premises/administer-soar-on-premises/7.1.0/manage-your-splunk-soar-on-premises-users-and-accounts/manage-roles-and-permissions-in-splunk-soar-on-premises) and Add and configur

  • Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: guard dc_sink dereferences in MST mode validation dm_dp_mst_is_port_suppoCVE-2026-98786 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: guard dc_sink dereferences in MST mode validation dm_dp_mst_is_port_support_mode() reads aconnector->dc_sink->dsc_caps... for the DSC branch-throughput check, and get_conv_frl_bw()'s HDMI-PCON FRL-bandwidth path reads aconnector->dc_sink->edid_caps.max_frl_rate, both without a NULL check. dc_sink is cleared asynchronously on MST unplug, and both functions run from paths that the driver's own comments document as racing that teardown: the connector probe worker's ->mode_valid callback and a compositor's atomic check, neither of which holds the MST manager lock that the teardown path uses. The former does have an existing dsc_aux NULL check, but dsc_aux isn't reliably cleared in every path that clears dc_sink, so it doesn't cover this. Fail the port-support check and skip the FRL conversion path when the sink is already gone. (cherry picked from commit 7c3db8da4e039698ae198c870712428644e965c7)

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: check dc_state_create_copy() for NULL in dm_suspend dc_state_create_copy() can return NULL on allocation failure. dm_suspend() only conditionally skips dm_gpureset_toggle_interrupts() and continues execution, returning success. dm_resume() then dereferences the NULL cached_dc_state in link_enc_cfg_copy() and the following dc_state->stream_count loop, crashing during GPU reset recovery. Return -ENOMEM immediately if the copy fails, so the caller aborts suspend instead of leaving a NULL cached state for resume. (cherry picked from commit 84b6d7932fdd2857795a257f9f258562a3cddcab)

  • Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/msm/dp: skip PUSH_IDLE when the link was never enabled msm_dp_display_atomic_enable() CVE-2026-98313 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/msm/dp: skip PUSH_IDLE when the link was never enabled msm_dp_display_atomic_enable() returns early when link training fails, leaving ->power_on false and the main link down. msm_dp_display_atomic_disable() nevertheless writes DP_STATE_CTRL_PUSH_IDLE and waits for an idle-pattern completion that cannot arrive, so every failed enable is followed by "PUSH_IDLE pattern timedout". Every other step of the teardown is already gated on that flag: msm_dp_display_disable(), called from .atomic_post_disable(), returns early on !power_on. The PUSH_IDLE write is the only one that is not, so the controller's runtime-PM reference is then dropped without the link having been taken down. On glymur (Snapdragon X2 Elite) the consequence is not a warning. The SoC does not survive it: TrustZone force-stops the SOCCP and ADSP remote processors and the machine resets silently about 50 ms later, with no oops and no panic. On an ASUS Zenbook A16 (UX3607OA), whose eDP panel does not currently train, this reproduces without any compositor or GPU involvement: # eDP enable has already failed with "Failed link training (rc=-104)"
