ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform. Prior to version 5.5.3 - #140, ClipBucket's Remote Play feature allows any authenticated user to add a video by importing an external URL as the source. Some shell commands are run with the URL as a parameter. The URL is concatenated directly into shell commands without escaping then executed, so any shell metacharacter in the URL is interpreted. This results in arbitrary command execution. This issue has been patched in version 5.5.3 - #140.

May 14, 2026ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform.CVE-2026-42847 · Other software · MacWarrior · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform. Prior to 5.5.3 - #122, there is a critical SQL Injection (SQLi) vulnerability in ClipBucket, exploitable through the type parameter on the authenticated admin endpoint admin_area/action_logs.php. The endpoint admin_area/action_logs.php reads $_GET['type'], stores it in $result_array['type'], and forwards it into fetch_action_logs(), where the value is concatenated directly into a SQL WHERE condition on action_type without parameterization. This allows UNION-based SQL injection and direct data exfiltration from the database. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.5.3 - #122.

ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform. Prior to version 5.5.3 #59, collection item operations are vulnerable to authorization flaws, allowing a normal authenticated user to modify another user’s collection items. This affects both add item (/actions/add_to_collection.php) due to missing authorization checks and delete item (/manage_collections.php?mode=manage_items...) due to a broken ownership check in removeItemFromCollection(). As a result, attackers can insert and remove items from collections they do not own. Version 5.5.3 #59 fixes the issue.

Feb 12, 2026ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform.CVE-2026-26005 · Other software · MacWarrior · reported by GitHubMedium 5
ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform. Prior to 5.5.3 - #45, in Clip Bucket V5, The Remote Play allows creating video entries that reference external video URLs without uploading the video files to the server. However, by specifying an internal network host in the video URL, an SSRF can be triggered, causing GET requests to be sent to internal servers. An attacker can exploit this to scan the internal network. Even a regular (non-privileged) user can carry out the attack.

Feb 10, 2026ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform.CVE-2026-25728 · Other software · MacWarrior · reported by GitHubCritical 9.3
ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform. Prior to 5.5.3 - #40, a Time-of-Check to Time-of-Use (TOCTOU) race condition vulnerability exists in ClipBucket's avatar and background image upload functionality. The application moves uploaded files to a web-accessible location before validating them, creating a window where an attacker can execute arbitrary PHP code before the file is deleted. The uploaded file was moved to a web-accessible path via move_uploaded_file(), then validated via ValidateImage(). If validation failed, the file was deleted via @unlink(). This vulnerability is fixed in 5.5.3 - #40.

Jan 7, 2026ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform.CVE-2026-21875 · Other software · MacWarrior · reported by GitHubCritical 9.8
ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform. Versions 5.5.2-#187 and below allow an attacker to perform Blind SQL Injection through the add comment section within a channel. When adding a comment within a channel, there is a POST request to the /actions/ajax.php endpoint. The obj_id parameter within the POST request to /actions/ajax.php is then used within the user_exists function of the upload/includes/classes/user.class. php file as the $id parameter. It is then used within the count function of the upload/includes/classes/db.class. php file. The $id parameter is concatenated into the query without validation or sanitization, and a user-supplied input like 1' or 1=1-- - can be used to trigger the injection. This issue does not have a fix at the time of publication.

Nov 20, 2025ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform.CVE-2025-62709 · Other software · MacWarrior · reported by GitHubMedium 6.8
ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform. In ClipBucket version 5.5.2, a change to network.class.php causes the application to dynamically build the server URL from the incoming HTTP Host header when the configuration base_url is not set. Because Host is a client-controlled header, an attacker can supply an arbitrary Host value. This allows an attacker to cause password-reset links (sent by forget.php) to be generated with the attacker’s domain. If a victim follows that link and enters their activation code on the attacker-controlled domain, the attacker can capture the code and use it to reset the victim’s password and take over the account. This issue has been patched in version 5.5.2#162.

Oct 17, 2025ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform.CVE-2025-62430 · Other software · MacWarrior · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4
ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform. ClipBucket v5 through build 5.5.2 #145 allows stored cross-site scripting (XSS) in multiple video and photo metadata fields. For videos the Tags field and the Genre, Actors, Producer, Executive Producer, and Director fields in Movieinfos accept user supplied values without adequate sanitization. For photos the Photo Title and Photo Tags fields accept user supplied values without adequate sanitization. A regular user who can edit a video or photo can inject script (for example by supplying a value such as a closing delimiter followed by a script element). The injected script executes when any user, including an unauthenticated visitor or an administrator, views the affected video or photo page. Although cookies are set with the HttpOnly attribute and cannot be read directly, the injected script can issue fetch requests to endpoints such as admin_area pages and exfiltrate their contents or trigger unintended actions. Version 5.5.2 build #146 and later contain a fix. Update to build 5.5.2 #146 or later. No known workarounds exist.

Jan 7, 2025ClipBucket V5 provides open source video hosting with PHP.CVE-2025-21622 · Other software · MacWarrior · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
ClipBucket V5 provides open source video hosting with PHP. During the user avatar upload workflow, a user can choose to upload and change their avatar at any time. During deletion, ClipBucket checks for the avatar_url as a filepath within the avatars subdirectory. If the URL path exists within the avatars directory, ClipBucket will delete it. There is no check for path traversal sequences in the provided user input (stored in the DB as avatar_url) therefore the final $file variable could be tainted with path traversal sequences. This leads to file deletion outside of the intended scope of the avatars folder. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.5.1 - 237.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
