  • Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ip_gre: Reject enabling collect metadata through changelink ipgre_netlink_parms() can enabCVE-2026-98569 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ip_gre: Reject enabling collect metadata through changelink ipgre_netlink_parms() can enable collect_md on an existing GRE, GRETAP or ERSPAN device. Unlike newlink, changelink does not enforce metadata tunnel uniqueness. Converting a non-metadata device can therefore replace the metadata receive entry for another device of the same type in the same netns. Deleting either device then clears the shared entry, breaking metadata receive lookup for the surviving device. If parameter validation fails after collect_md is set, deleting the modified device can also clear an entry it never owned. Reject enabling metadata mode in both changelink callbacks before any encapsulation or tunnel parameters are modified. Allow requests that repeat the metadata attribute on an existing metadata device.

  • Oct 5, 2026auto-changelog before 2.6.1 merges configuration from inside the target repository (the .auto-changelog file and the auto-changelog key in package.json) into itCVE-2026-12171 · Other software · cookpete · reported by 7ffcee3d-2c14-4c3e-b844-86c6a321a158High 8.4

auto-changelog before 2.6.1 merges configuration from inside the target repository (the .auto-changelog file and the auto-changelog key in package.json) into its options, and honors security-sensitive options from that untrusted source. The handlebarsSetup option is passed to require(), so running auto-changelog over attacker-controlled repository content (for example, in a CI workflow that checks out an untrusted pull request head, or locally on a forked or third-party repository) executes attacker-chosen code with the privileges of the invoking user or CI job, including access to workflow secrets, without the repository dependencies ever being installed. The plugins option similarly loads attacker-controlled modules from the repository. Under the same conditions, appendGitLog/appendGitTag allow git argument injection (e.g. --output= to write arbitrary files), output allows writing attacker-influenced content to arbitrary paths, and template causes an outbound request to an attacker-chosen URL. Version 2.6.1 treats in-repository configuration as untrusted and refuses to run when it sets these options, unless the new --unsafe-config flag is passed.

  • Sep 26, 2026ClawHub (openclaw/clawhub application/backend) contains a missing authorization check in the changelog preview feature.CVE-2026-100602 · Other software · openclaw · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1

ClawHub (openclaw/clawhub application/backend) contains a missing authorization check in the changelog preview feature. A signed-in caller can invoke the public skills:generateChangelogPreview action for a skill they are not authorized to access; the previous version is read without the file-read authorization enforced on normal content access, and up to 8,000 characters of quarantined content may be submitted to the AI provider and reflected in the preview returned to the caller, disclosing restricted skill content. The issue was confirmed at revision cbfee7343ddc867316dd9b3de6fa8856730f9f41; the complete historical affected range was not established. It is fixed by PR #3682, included in revision 8c2de6c506bb4efabe3f0c2ffb8370b9e23d4650, which was deployed to clawhub.ai on 2026-09-11; self-hosted deployments should update to that revision or a later descendant. The npm CLI and OpenClaw runtime are separate products and are not affected.

  • Aug 22, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vxlan: do not arm the ageing timer on a device that is down vxlan_changelink() arms vxlan-CVE-2026-74615 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vxlan: do not arm the ageing timer on a device that is down vxlan_changelink() arms vxlan->age_timer whenever the requested ageing interval differs from the configured one: if (conf.age_interval != vxlan->cfg.age_interval) mod_timer(&vxlan->age_timer, jiffies); There is no netif_running() test, so the timer is armed even on a device that was never brought up. The only synchronous cancel in the driver is the timer_delete_sync() in vxlan_stop(), which is .ndo_stop. netif_close_many() drops devices without IFF_UP before __dev_close_many() runs, so that cancel is skipped for such a device. vxlan_setup() sets dev->needs_free_netdev = true and age_timer is a member of struct vxlan_dev, so free_netdev() releases the allocation the timer lives in while it is still queued on a timer_base. expire_timers() unlinks the entry before it loads timer->function, so the timer core writes through the freed object's list pointers: BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in __run_timers+0x208/0x654 Write of size 8 at addr ffff00001adace68 by task true/192 __asan_store8+0x84/0xac __run_timers+0x208/0x654 run_timer_softirq

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vxlan: require CAP_NET_ADMIN in the device netns for changelink A tunnel changelink() operates on at most two netns, dev_net(dev) and the sticky underlay netns vxlan->net. They differ once the device is created in or moved to a netns other than the one the request runs in. The rtnl changelink path checks CAP_NET_ADMIN only against dev_net(dev), so a caller privileged there but not in t->net can rewrite a tunnel that lives in t->net. Add rtnl_dev_link_net_capable() next to rtnl_get_net_ns_capable() in net/core/rtnetlink.c. It requires CAP_NET_ADMIN in the link netns and is skipped when the link netns is dev_net(dev), where the rtnl path already checked it. The other patches in this series use the same helper. Gate ipgre_changelink() and erspan_changelink() with it, at the top of the op before any attribute is parsed, because the parsers update live tunnel fields first. ipgre_netlink_parms() sets t->collect_md before ip_tunnel_changelink() runs. Commit 8b484efd5cb4 ("ip6: vti: Use ip6_tnl.net in vti6_siocdevprivate().") added the same check on the ioctl path. This adds it on RTM_NEWLINK.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ip6_gre: Use cached t->net in ip6erspan_changelink(). After commit 5e72ce3e3980 ("net: ipv6: Use link netns in newlink() of rtnl_link_ops"), ip6erspan_newlink() correctly resolves the per-netns ip6gre hash via link_net. ip6erspan_changelink() was not converted in that series and still uses dev_net(dev), which diverges from the device's creation netns after IFLA_NET_NS_FD migration. This re-inserts the tunnel into the wrong per-netns hash. The original netns keeps a stale entry. When that netns is later destroyed, ip6gre_exit_rtnl_net() walks the stale entry, producing a slab-use-after-free reported by KASAN, followed by a kernel BUG at net/core/dev.c (LIST_POISON1) in unregister_netdevice_many_notify(). Reachable from an unprivileged user namespace (unshare --user --map-root-user --net). ip6gre_changelink() earlier in the same file already uses the cached t->net; only ip6erspan_changelink() has the wrong shape.

  • Sep 22, 2025Conventional Changelog generates changelogs and release notes from a project's commit messages and metadata.CVE-2025-59433 · Other software · conventional-changelog · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Conventional Changelog generates changelogs and release notes from a project's commit messages and metadata. Prior to version 2.0.0, @conventional-changelog/git-client has an argument injection vulnerability. This vulnerability manifests with the library's getTags() API, which allows extra parameters to be passed to the git log command. In another API by this library, getRawCommits(), there are secure practices taken to ensure that the extra parameter path is unable to inject an argument by ending the git log command with the special shell syntax --. However, the library does not follow the same practice for getTags() as it does not attempt to sanitize for user input, validate the given params, or restrict them to an allow list. Nor does it properly pass command-line flags to the git binary using the double-dash POSIX characters (--) to communicate the end of options. Thus, allowing users to exploit an argument injection vulnerability in Git due to the --output= command-line option that results with overwriting arbitrary files. This issue has been patched in version 2.0.0.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: can: netlink: can_changelink(): fix NULL pointer deref of struct can_priv::do_set_mode Andrei Lalaev reported a NULL pointer deref when a CAN device is restarted from Bus Off and the driver does not implement the struct can_priv::do_set_mode callback. There are 2 code path that call struct can_priv::do_set_mode: - directly by a manual restart from the user space, via can_changelink() - delayed automatic restart after bus off (deactivated by default) To prevent the NULL pointer deference, refuse a manual restart or configure the automatic restart delay in can_changelink() and report the error via extack to user space. As an additional safety measure let can_restart() return an error if can_priv::do_set_mode is not set instead of dereferencing it unchecked.

  • Jun 23, 2025An OS command injection vulnerability exists in the Blue Angel Software Suite running on embedded Linux devices via the ping_addr parameter in the webctrl.cgi sCVE-2025-34033 · Other software · 5VTechnologies · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.7

An OS command injection vulnerability exists in the Blue Angel Software Suite running on embedded Linux devices via the ping_addr parameter in the webctrl.cgi script. The application fails to properly sanitize input before passing it to the system-level ping command. An authenticated attacker can inject arbitrary commands by appending shell metacharacters to the ping_addr parameter in a crafted GET request to /cgi-bin/webctrl.cgi?action=pingtest_update. The command's output is reflected in the application's web interface, enabling attackers to view results directly. Default and backdoor credentials can be used to access the interface and exploit the issue. Successful exploitation results in arbitrary command execution as the root user. Exploitation evidence was observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2025-01-26 UTC.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
