  • Oct 29, 2026sigstore-js provides JavaScript libraries for interacting with Sigstore services.CVE-2026-118763 · Other software · sigstore · reported by GitHubHigh 7.4

sigstore-js provides JavaScript libraries for interacting with Sigstore services. Prior to 0.7.2, packages/oci/src/registry.ts contains a RegistryClient.signIn() method that stores registry Authorization and Docker configuration headers as defaults on a shared HTTP client, while RegistryClient.uploadBlob() sends a fresh PUT to an absolute blob-upload Location supplied by the registry without checking that its origin or scheme matches the registry. A malicious or compromised registry can therefore direct a user pushing an artifact through attachArtifactToImage() to an attacker-controlled host and receive the registry bearer token, Basic credentials, or custom authentication headers. Redirect-time header stripping does not prevent the leak because the cross-host PUT is a new explicit request rather than a followed redirect. This is a residual of CVE-2026-59891, whose fix changed credential selection in credentials.ts but did not constrain where credentials are sent from registry.ts. Version 0.7.2 fixes the issue by separating registry credentials from client-wide defaults and sending them only to the registry origin.

  • Oct 29, 2026Everest Forms – Contact Form, Payment Form, Quiz, Survey & Custom Form Builder with AI: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-91153 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The Everest Forms – Contact Form, Payment Form, Quiz, Survey & Custom Form Builder with AI plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 3.6.2 via the process. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract arbitrary WordPress post meta values — including license keys, API tokens, SMTP credentials, and Stripe or AWS secrets stored on any post type — via form submission notification emails or stored entries. The submission nonce is publicly rendered in every embedded form and can additionally be minted anonymously via the nopriv everest_forms_get_form_update_nonce action, meaning no account or prior authentication of any kind is required to complete the exploit.

The Everest Forms – Contact Form, Payment Form, Quiz, Survey & Custom Form Builder with AI plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 'evf_toast_type' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.6.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. Exploitation requires the sibling evf_toast parameter to decode successfully via atob(), but this is a trivially attacker-controlled prerequisite.

The Contact Form by Supsystic WordPress plugin before 1.11.1 does not sandbox the template engine used to render its forms and allows stored form-editor content to reach that engine as executable template code, enabling an administrator to perform server-side template injection and execute arbitrary code on the server. AnkiMCP is an Anki addon that implements an MCP server, enabling AI assistants to interact with the Anki flashcard application. Prior to version 0.21.0, `anki_mcp_server/mcp_server.py` globally disables FastMCP DNS-rebinding protection through `TransportSecuritySettings` with `enable_dns_rebinding_protection=False`, including for the default local Streamable HTTP listener. The defaults in `anki_mcp_server/config.py` enable `http_enabled` on `127.0.0.1:3141`, with an empty `http_path` selecting the root endpoint. No bearer token, API key, session secret, strict `Host` allowlist or strict `Origin` allowlist is enforced before `initialize`, `tools/list` and `tools/call` reach MCP dispatch. A victim who visits a malicious web page while Anki and the listener are running can have browser requests rebound to loopback, allowing the attacker to `initialize` MCP, enumerate tools, read the local collection, and perform enabled non-destructive note/deck creation or updates. The attacker needs neither LAN position nor a local process. Available operations depend on enabled tool filters; destructive tools are hidden unless `enabled_destructive_tools` is opted into, limiting deletion-level impac

  • Oct 28, 2026OpenHop is a tool for creating interactive data-flow diagrams.CVE-2026-59179 · Other software · naorsabag · reported by GitHubHigh 8.3

OpenHop is a tool for creating interactive data-flow diagrams. Prior to 0.3.7, `@openhop/server` passes unauthenticated flow route parameters from `GET /api/flows/:id` and `DELETE /api/flows/:id` in `packages/server/src/routes.ts` to `FlowStore.filePath()` in `packages/server/src/store.ts` without an identifier allow-list. The router applies `decodeURIComponent` to the id, and `path.join()` then normalizes traversal outside the configured flow directory after appending the .yaml extension. An attacker can read accessible YAML files as YAML-parsed JSON or permanently delete accessible .yaml files outside that directory, exposing configuration or secrets and disrupting dependent services. In `packages/server/src/index.ts`, CORS `origin: true` permits any browser origin, enabling a malicious webpage to target a loopback-bound instance. Docker deployments default to `HOST=0.0.0.0` and permit direct unauthenticated network access. This issue is fixed in repository release 0.3.7.

  • Oct 28, 2026NORA is a self-hosted artifact registry and pull-through cache.CVE-2026-59164 · Other software · getnora-io · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

NORA is a self-hosted artifact registry and pull-through cache. Prior to 0.9.5, `nora-registry` authenticates the token-management UI but fails to require administrator authorization. `auth_middleware()` protects `/ui/tokens` and `/api/ui/tokens`, but state-changing requests are checked only with `role.can_write()`, not `role.can_admin()`. `tokens_page()` and `tokens_list()` call `store.list_all_tokens()`, exposing IDs and metadata across all users, while `tokens_revoke()` calls `store.revoke_token` using the supplied token ID without an ownership or admin check. A read bearer token can enumerate other users' token existence, owner, role, description, expiry and last-use metadata. A write bearer token or write-capable OIDC identity can additionally revoke arbitrary admin and service tokens, disrupting the registry and forcing credential recovery. Read-only identities cannot POST a revocation. This issue is fixed in version 0.9.5.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firewire: core: fix race condition in split transaction handling For a split transaction, either fw_core_handle_response() or split_transaction_timeout_callback() may manipulate the same transaction entry in the pending transaction list. The return value of timer_delete() is used to determine which function handles the entry. If the transaction is a split transaction and timer_delete() returns zero, the timeout callback may already be running. In this case, the response handler must leave the entry in the list for the timeout callback to remove. A previous code refactoring broke this behavior, introducing a race condition in which both functions could process the same transaction. This could lead to a use-after-free on the transaction initiator side. Fix the regression by ensuring that the response handler does not process the transaction when timer_delete() returns zero. The timeout callback is responsible for removing the entry from the pending transaction list.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: fix use-after-free in __tcf_action_put() __tcf_action_put() decrements the reference count before decrementing the binding count. • Oct 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfs: don't hold buffer locks across sync transaction commit in xfs_sync_sb_buf xfs_sync_sbCVE-2026-99132 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfs: don't hold buffer locks across sync transaction commit in xfs_sync_sb_buf xfs_sync_sb_buf() holds sb/rtsb buffer locks across a synchronous xfs_trans_commit(), which flushes the CIL push workqueue internally. If shutdown occurs during the CIL push, xfs_buf_item_unpin() needs to lock these buffers to fail them, causing a deadlock: setlabel: holds buf lock -> flush_workqueue(xfs-cil) CIL push worker: xfs_buf_item_unpin -> xfs_buf_lock(same buf) Remove the xfs_trans_bhold() calls so that commit releases the buffer locks normally. After the sync commit, re-acquire the buffers via mp->m_sb_bp / mp->m_rtsb_bp for the on-disk writeback.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu/userq: actually validate userq BOs This was supposed to loop over the individual evicted list, as the kernel and always_valid evicted lists were already handled in amdgpu_vm_validate. Without this, BOs that were created and evicted before a userq was made would never end up in an eviction fence rearm. Also add the missing ref to the BO before drm_exec locks and refs it. • Oct 28, 2026Webheadcoder Multi-Step Forms for Contact Form 7: Reflected Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-92098 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.1

The Webheadcoder Multi-Step Forms for Contact Form 7 plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 'l10n_print_after' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.7 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. Successful exploitation requires that the targeted site has at least one Contact Form 7 form configured with a [multistep] form-tag, as the canonicalization introduced in version 4.7 blocks the attack path on non-multistep forms.

  • Oct 28, 2026Advanced Custom Fields: Extended: Unauthorized access of data and triggering of server-side actionsCVE-2026-2839 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The Advanced Custom Fields: Extended plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized access of data and triggering of server-side actions in all versions up to, and including, 0.9.2.7. This is due to multiple AJAX handlers registered for unauthenticated users (`wp_ajax_nopriv_*`) that fail to implement proper `current_user_can()` authorization checks. While these handlers use ACF's `acf_verify_ajax()` function to validate cryptographic nonces, the `acf_nonce` values are generated for guest users and publicly exposed in the page source of any frontend page utilizing an ACF form. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract the guest nonce and bypass WordPress visibility permissions, leading to the unauthorized disclosure of post titles and internal Flexible Content layout structures. The vulnerability was partially patched in version 0.9.2.4.

  • Oct 28, 2026Contact Manager: Arbitrary File UploadCVE-2026-109218 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The Contact Manager plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 9.1.2 via the add_message function. This is due to an incomplete extension blacklist that fails to detect dangerous extensions when a trailing dot causes the extension-derivation routine to return an empty string, which sanitize_file_name() then silently removes before the file is written to disk. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. Successful code execution additionally requires the server to use Apache with libapache2-mod-php (which maps .phar to PHP by default) and the attacker to retrieve the uploaded file within the brief window before it is removed by unlink() at end of request.
