Jenkins 2.587 and earlier, LTS 2.580.1 and earlier improperly identifies file paths attempting path traversal in the file browser for workspaces and $JENKINS_HOME/userContent/, allowing attackers with Overall/Read permission to obtain the names, sizes, and last modification times of files in the $JENKINS_HOME, and attackers with Item/Workspace permission to obtain the names of jobs that have a workspace on the same agent.

OpenHands Software Agent SDK before 1.52.0 contains an unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerability where the DockerWorkspace and Apptainer workspace launchers bind the sandbox agent server to all network interfaces (0.0.0.0) with an empty session_api_keys list, disabling authentication by default. Attackers who can reach the published container port can send unauthenticated HTTP and WebSocket requests to execute arbitrary shell commands as root in the sandbox, access the mounted workspace, and read plaintext secrets from the secrets store.

  • Oct 19, 2026CLI Bridge provides filesystem access within a workspace root.CVE-2026-111045 · Other software · anshupriyan · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

CLI Bridge provides filesystem access within a workspace root. Prior to 0.0.2, a dangling symlink pointing outside the workspace root bypasses resolveSafePath when fs.realpathSync throws ENOENT for a nonexistent target. The fallback resolves only the parent directory and returns the symlink path as safe, so write_file follows the link and can write arbitrary files outside the workspace root. This issue is fixed in version 0.0.2.

  • Oct 6, 2026SimpleChat is a secure AI conversation application with personal and group workspaces for document-grounded interactions.CVE-2026-105798 · Computers, phones & browsers · microsoft · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7

SimpleChat is a secure AI conversation application with personal and group workspaces for document-grounded interactions. Prior to 0.261.029, POST /api/group_documents/upload stores an attacker-controlled group document filename that group_workspaces.html later interpolates into inline Share event handlers. The escapeGroupHtml function leaves apostrophes unchanged, while escapeHtml produces an HTML entity that the browser decodes before JavaScript evaluation, so either path permits the filename to terminate the handler string. An authenticated group Owner, Admin, or DocumentManager can persist script that executes in the SimpleChat origin when another group member clicks Share, allowing access to victim-visible data and actions with the victim session. This issue is fixed in version 0.261.029.

  • Oct 6, 2026SimpleChat is a secure AI conversation application with personal and group workspaces for document-grounded interactions.CVE-2026-105797 · Computers, phones & browsers · microsoft · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

SimpleChat is a secure AI conversation application with personal and group workspaces for document-grounded interactions. In versions 0.261.003 and 0.261.027, an authorization ordering flaw in POST /api/user/plugins allows an authenticated low-privileged user to omit the top-level MCP type so that _reject_non_admin_mcp_stdio skips inspection before the type is restored from metadata. The stored personal action can then reach McpPluginFactory.create_connector, and MCPStdioPlugin.connect starts the attacker-selected operating-system process under the application service identity when the action tool is invoked. Exploitation requires personal plugins to be enabled and governance to permit MCP actions, and it can expose or modify secrets and data available to the service or disrupt the service. This issue is fixed in version 0.261.031.

Flowise (npm packages `flowise` and `flowise-components`) through 3.1.4 looks up credentials by ID without filtering on the requesting user's workspace (findOneBy({ id: credentialId }) with no workspaceId condition) in several code paths: getAllOpenaiAssistants/getSingleOpenaiAssistant (GET /api/v1/openai-assistants and /api/v1/openai-assistants/:id), uploadFilesToAssistant (POST /api/v1/openai-assistants-file/upload/), deleteAssistant (DELETE /api/v1/assistants/:id, reachable by first importing a poisoned assistant row via POST /api/v1/export-import/import), and the shared helper used by getVoices (GET /api/v1/text-to-speech/voices). • Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') versions >= 2026.3.28 and < 2026.8.1 allow an untrusted workspace .env file to set the CLOUDSDK_PYTHON_ARGS environment variabCVE-2026-100570 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.5

OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') versions >= 2026.3.28 and < 2026.8.1 allow an untrusted workspace .env file to set the CLOUDSDK_PYTHON_ARGS environment variable. When an operator starts OpenClaw in attacker-controlled workspace content and then runs the Gmail setup flow, that value is inherited when gcloud is launched, and the gcloud launcher passes it as arguments to the trusted Python interpreter. A crafted CLOUDSDK_PYTHON_ARGS value can therefore cause Python to execute attacker-supplied code with the OpenClaw host user's permissions, allowing credentials to be read, files to be modified, or other processes to be started. This issue is fixed in version 2026.8.1; as a workaround, run Gmail setup only from trusted workspaces and clear inherited CLOUDSDK_* variables beforehand.

  • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: zstd: fix lost wakeup when waiting for a workspace A writer can sleep forever in zsCVE-2026-98079 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: zstd: fix lost wakeup when waiting for a workspace A writer can sleep forever in zstd_get_workspace() even though a workspace is free. When zstd_alloc_workspace() fails, the task is queued on zwsm->wait and schedules unconditionally, never re-testing the pool. zstd_put_workspace() publishes the workspace and then calls cond_wake_up(), which only wakes when a sleeper is already visible, so a workspace returned between the failed allocation and prepare_to_wait() wakes nobody. The window is wide: zstd_alloc_workspace() goes through kvmalloc() and may enter reclaim. Only a max level workspace triggers the wakeup and one is deliberately kept allocated as the fallback every waiter waits for, so once its wakeup is lost the writer stays in TASK_UNINTERRUPTIBLE until some other task happens to return one. Re-check the pool after prepare_to_wait() has published the waiter, and use the workspace if one turned up.

The guest-to-host Unix-domain socket relay in Docker Sandboxes validates that a socket path is inside an authorized workspace, but later reconnects using the pathname. A malicious guest can replace an intermediate directory with a symlink between validation and connection, causing the host to connect to an arbitrary AF_UNIX socket outside the shared workspace. This can expose data or host-side capabilities provided by the targeted socket.

  • Sep 11, 2026Dobase is an open-source, self-hosted workspace with installable tools.CVE-2026-54165 · Other software · smgdkngt · reported by GitHubMedium 6.4

Dobase is an open-source, self-hosted workspace with installable tools. Versions prior to 2026.06.03 have a one-click stored DOM-based cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the public, unauthenticated shared-folder image gallery. A file's `name` is fully attacker-controlled and is never sanitized. It is round-tripped through an ERB-escaped `data-name` attribute, decoded back to its raw value by `el.dataset.name`, and then re-injected into `innerHTML` by the `public-gallery` Stimulus controller with no escaping. Any authenticated workspace member who can share a Files folder can store a payload; the victim is anyone with the public share link (no authentication required). The global Content-Security-Policy is sent report-only (not enforcing), so an inline `onerror` handler executes — this is an executing XSS, not a CSP-mitigated injection. Version 2026.06.03 fixes the issue.
