Oct 29, 2026Meta Box – A Framework for Dynamic Websites: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-109216 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.9
The Meta Box – A Framework for Dynamic Websites plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'profile_background[<attacker-chosen key>]' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 5.15.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. Oct 29, 2026Mapster WP Maps: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-107743 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2
The Mapster WP Maps plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to, and including, 2.0.5. This is due to the /wp-json/mapster-wp-maps/save-mapmaker REST route being registered with a permission_callback that unconditionally returns true (no capability check, no nonce), together with the mapster_write_config_to_acf() helper only sanitizing string config values with sanitize_text_field() — which strips HTML tags but leaves quote characters intact — and the mapster_wp_map shortcode renderer in mapster_wordpress_maps_shortcode_display() concatenating the stored loading_background_color value into a single-quoted inline style attribute without esc_attr(). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Oct 29, 2026Greenshift – animation and page builder blocks: Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-107629 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.4
The Greenshift – animation and page builder blocks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'comment' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 13.2.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires the affected post page to include an Advanced HTML Element block with Split Text animation enabled wrapping a Latest Comments block that displays comment excerpts, as this configuration causes splittext.js to be enqueued and to process the comment content container.

Oct 29, 2026Extensions for Leaflet Map: Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-103485 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.4
The Extensions for Leaflet Map plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'feature.properties[<template-token>]' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 5.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires that a site administrator has previously configured a public map using the [leaflet-map]+[leaflet-geojson]+[choropleth] shortcode combination whose GeoJSON src URL is one the attacker controls — for example, through compromise of an external data host, a subdomain takeover, or a site intentionally pointing at an attacker-hosted feed.

Oct 29, 2026Password Protected: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-93293 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The Password Protected plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the bundled Freemius SDK's purchase-completion handler in all versions up to, and including, 2.8.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. Once the site's Freemius opt-in is complete (the normal state after an administrator clicks "Allow & Continue"), the handler processes the 'purchased_plan' request parameter on any wp-admin request from an authenticated user without any capability, nonce, or purchase validation, and stores it in a persistent, site-wide administrative notice. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts that execute automatically when an administrator views a standard admin page such as their Profile page.

Oct 29, 2026Contact Form by Supsystic: Does not sandbox the template engine used to render its forms and allows stored form-editor content to reach that engineCVE-2026-115301 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanHigh 7.2
The Contact Form by Supsystic WordPress plugin before 1.11.1 does not sandbox the template engine used to render its forms and allows stored form-editor content to reach that engine as executable template code, enabling an administrator to perform server-side template injection and execute arbitrary code on the server. The injected template is compiled and executed whenever any visitor loads a page containing the form, so the stored payload also lets an unauthenticated visitor read server-side secrets such as authentication salts and database credentials.

Oct 28, 2026Post Snippets – Custom WordPress Code Snippets Customizer: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-77871 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The Post Snippets – Custom WordPress Code Snippets Customizer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Shortcode Attributes in all versions up to, and including, 4.2.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Entity-encoded payloads such as <script>...</script> survive WordPress's wp_kses_post on-save sanitization because kses does not decode HTML entities, and are only converted back into executable HTML tags at render time by the plugin's own shortcode filter. This requires snippet shortcodes to be enabled.

Oct 28, 2026Waitlist Woocommerce ( Back in stock notifier ): Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-77188 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The Waitlist Woocommerce ( Back in stock notifier ) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'type' Shortcode Attribute in all versions up to, and including, 2.9.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The wp_kses_post filter applied on contributor post save does not prevent this vulnerability because shortcode attribute values are not HTML and pass through kses unchanged; the payload is materialized only at render time when the shortcode is expanded.
