In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: stmmac: dwmac1000: clear the RGMII status interrupt Since commit 2e2c878a3141 ("net: stmmac: remove SGMII/RGMII/SMII interrupt handling") nothing on the RGMII path reads GMAC_RGSMIIIS, so RGSMIIIS stays pending behind GMAC_INT_MASK from the first link change on. stmmac_resume() resets the MAC in stmmac_hw_setup(); the reset sets GMAC_INT_MASK to 0 until dwmac1000_core_init() writes the mask again, and the pending status storms the line: dwmac_dma_interrupt: unexpected status 04000000 A register dump at the first message on ODROID-HC4 showed it: core int_status 00000001 int_mask 00000000 pmt 00000000 rgsmiiis 0000000d When the resume thread runs on the CPU that takes the MAC interrupt, the storm starves it: a soft lockup, then a watchdog reset or a hang. Read GMAC_RGSMIIIS in dwmac1000_irq_status() when the status is not masked, as the driver did before 2e2c878a3141; the read clears it. • Oct 26, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: MGMT: Fix status of pending commands flushed on power off cmd_complete_rsp() reCVE-2026-99091 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: MGMT: Fix status of pending commands flushed on power off cmd_complete_rsp() receives a struct cmd_lookup and, for a pending command that has no cmd_complete callback, falls through to cmd_status_rsp(cmd, data). cmd_status_rsp() reads data as a u8 *, so the status sent comes from the first byte of match->sk's representation, not from match->mgmt_status. commit f53e1c9c726d ("Bluetooth: MGMT: Fix possible crash on mgmt_index_removed") changed the callers' data from &status to &match and updated the cmd_complete branch to match->mgmt_status, but left the fall-through passing data unchanged. In mgmt_index_removed() match->sk is NULL, so every such command is answered with status 0x00 (Success) instead of MGMT_STATUS_INVALID_INDEX. In __mgmt_power_off() it is NULL too, unless a Set Powered command was pending: then settings_rsp() has stored that command's socket in match->sk, and the byte sent comes from the socket pointer. Either way the status the caller set, MGMT_STATUS_NOT_POWERED (or MGMT_STATUS_INVALID_INDEX when the device is being unregistered), is lost. Pass the status the callers set. This wa

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: riscv: entry: gate shadow call stack reload on sstatus.SPP, not tp Under CONFIG_SHADOW_CALL_STACK, handle_exception() reloads the kernel shadow call stack pointer (gp) only when the trap came from userspace. It made that decision with scs_load_current_if_task_changed, which compares the trap-time tp (read back from sscratch into s5) against the current tp: beq \prev, tp, _skip_scs scs_load_current _skip_scs: tp is a user-writable register. A user task that sets tp to the linear-map address of its own task_struct (&current) before trapping makes the comparison succeed (can achieve by brute force with KASLR enable under our test), so the kernel skips scs_load_current and keeps running with the gp that userspace left in place. Under CONFIG_SHADOW_CALL_STACK gp is the shadow call stack pointer and load_global_pointer is a no-op, so the compiler-emitted "sd ra, -8(gp)" / "ld ra, -8(gp)" in every non-leaf function then write to, and return through, an attacker-controlled address -- an unprivileged kernel arbitrary-write and control-flow-hijack primitive. The poisoned gp is saved to task_struct.scs_sp on return, s

  • Oct 23, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: s390: Fix IRQ injection with SIGP Stop and Store Status When __inject_sigp_stop() is CVE-2026-98930 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: s390: Fix IRQ injection with SIGP Stop and Store Status When __inject_sigp_stop() is called for a Stop and Store Status operation, if the vCPU is running, the interrupt is marked as pending and the status is stored by the thread performing the KVM_RUN IOCTL. If the vCPU is already stopped, the status is stored immediately. Storing the status means writing into userspace, which might fault, and __inject_sigp_stop() is called from do_inject_vcpu() which in turn is always called holding a spinlock, which is obviously an issue. Fix this by returning -EWOULDBLOCK from __inject_sigp_stop(), and adding a bool flag to indicate whether a store status is needed. The callers of do_inject_vcpu() are modified to pass the pointer to the bool flag; whenever a Store Status operation is needed, the callers can now perform it outside the spinlock. Opportunistically refactor kvm_s390_set_irq_state() to use scoped_guard() and __free(). [ Added Fixes tag while picking -- Claudio ]

Missing Authentication for Critical Function (CWE-306) and Insufficiently Protected Credentials (CWE-522) in the control plane enrollment status handler (HandleEnrollStatus at GET /enroll/status in internal/controlplane/server.go) in Google OSS Agent Mesh (SAM) versions 0.1.0-alpha.1 through 0.1.0-alpha.8 allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to retrieve an approved bootstrap-enrolled peer's signed Biscuit identity token by supplying a peer_id obtainable from the unauthenticated GET /info endpoint. A related flaw in POST /enroll allowed any bootstrap-token holder to re-fetch another peer's credential. An attacker can replay the disclosed Biscuit token as a bearer credential on /policies to read mesh authorization policies and on /routers/lease to overwrite advertised router multiaddrs. Users should upgrade to version 0.1.0-alpha.9 or later, which requires cryptographic proof of possession of the enrollment private key on credential-releasing endpoints, enforces rate limiting, and validates router lease addresses.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211: validate TX status rate metadata minstrel_ht_tx_status() converts the HT/VHT rate reported in a TX status into a group and rate index and uses those to index the minstrel_ht rate tables. The existing validation only checked that an entry was present and had tries recorded; it did not check that the reported MCS, spatial stream count and bandwidth are representable by the tables, so malformed metadata passed to minstrel_ht_get_stats() or minstrel_ht_ri_get_stats() could be used as an out-of-bounds index. Validate the rate metadata in the common TX status path instead of only in minstrel_ht, since the values are used by more than rate control. The legacy ieee80211_tx_rate array and the rate_info based entries are sanitized in ieee80211_tx_status_ext() and ieee80211_tx_rate_update() before any consumer runs: an entry that does not describe a valid rate for its encoding is dropped. minstrel_ht keeps the checks that depend on its own tables, i.e. the supported number of spatial streams, the MCS group size and the supported bandwidths. This does not take away the driver's responsibility to report sa

Prior to 1.31.29, formatString() in src/server/utils/template.ts passes survey feedTemplate and monitor notification templates to lodash template(), while the default evaluate pattern remains enabled. The Goodix GT9xx input driver in drivers/input/input_gt911.c reads the touch point count from the controller's status register and masks it with GT911_TOUCH_POINTS_MSK (0x0F), yielding a value of 0..15. In gt911_process() that value is used directly as the loop bound for filling point_reg[], a stack array sized to CONFIG_INPUT_GT911_MAX_TOUCH_POINTS, whose Kconfig range is 1..5 with a default of 1. No other check constrains the count; the driver relied only on a comment asserting that the controller had been programmed at init to report no more points than configured. Each loop iteration issues an I2C read of eight bytes straight into point_reg[i], so a controller that reports more points than the array holds causes up to 112 bytes of peer-supplied data to be written past the end of the array, over the stack frame of gt911_process() in the system workqueue thread. Two further loops then read out of bounds from the same array. Triggering it requires control of, or the ability to substitute, the I2C touch controller — plausible on the many supported boards where the GT9xx panel is a pluggable display module or shield rather than an on-PCB part; a spoofed device need only answer the

Otherwise, garbage will leak from the stack to the firmware (when ssid is less than 32 bytes and/or when params->pmkid is set). • Sep 25, 2026Rapid7 Bulk Export MCP versions 0.2.5 through 0.6.1 suffer from a GraphQL query injection issue in the export-status component (`get_export_status` in `src/expoCVE-2026-97228 · Other software · Rapid7 · reported by cve@rapid7.comLow 2.7

Rapid7 Bulk Export MCP versions 0.2.5 through 0.6.1 suffer from a GraphQL query injection issue in the export-status component (`get_export_status` in `src/export_manager.py`), whereby the `export_id` value — an unvalidated MCP tool argument reaching the function via the `check_rapid7_export_status` and `download_rapid7_export` tools — is interpolated directly into the GraphQL query string. A crafted `export_id` containing quote and brace characters can terminate the intended `export(id: "...")` selection early and append attacker-controlled root-level selections (for example, schema introspection), producing a single well-formed GraphQL document that is then sent to the Rapid7 export API under the operator's own API key. Notably, this issue does not grant an existing actor any access they do not already have: every injected query executes within the operator's own already-authenticated API scope, using the operator's own valid API key, and cannot cross a tenant or account boundary. A directly-malicious operator gains nothing they could not already do by calling the API directly; the realistic exposure is limited to a compromised or careless upstream MCP client, or indirect prompt
