Oct 30, 2026In Trail of Bits fickling through 0.1.12, a pickle STACK_GLOBAL operand carrying a dotted __qualname__ (for example "Values.read_file") is resolved by pickle's CVE-2026-118938 · Other software · trailofbits · reported by aa17e1a1-c329-4d6e-a1ed-8d0188aea082High 8.8
In Trail of Bits fickling through 0.1.12, a pickle STACK_GLOBAL operand carrying a dotted __qualname__ (for example "Values.read_file") is resolved by pickle's find_class through _getattribute to an arbitrary attribute path rather than to a module-level function. Fickling records only the leading component of the name in its import tracking and renders the operation as a plain import (for instance, 'python -m fickling' displays it as 'from optparse import Values.read_file'), so the trailing attribute reference is never analyzed as a call. The OvertlyBadEvals analysis pass does not flag it, and check_safety() returns LIKELY_SAFE with zero findings. This allows an attacker to reach a class method that performs code execution: optparse.Values.read_file executes exec(open(filename).read(), vars), achieving arbitrary code execution when the crafted pickle is loaded through fickling.load(), which chains check_safety() into pickle.loads() as an explicit security gate. optparse is present in all current CPython 3.x releases (deprecated as of Python 3.13, not removed). This weakness is in the resolution and analysis of dotted attribute-path names, and is distinct from and independently fixa

Oct 30, 2026jack lets users share media libraries through their Radarr/Sonarr stack, peer-to-peer.CVE-2026-62979 · Other software · roziscoding · reported by GitHubHigh 8.4
jack lets users share media libraries through their Radarr/Sonarr stack, peer-to-peer. Prior to 0.1.0, `middleware/handle-error.ts` serializes raw `FetchError` objects into HTTP responses. `lib/servers/base.ts` attaches outbound request headers on upstream non-success responses and schema-validation failures; the public `extras` field in `lib/errors/FetchError.ts` remains enumerable and is emitted by JSON serialization. These headers include the internal Radarr/Sonarr `X-Api-Key` and custom connector headers such as `CF-Access-Client-Secret`. `lib/redact.ts` redacts logs and spans but not this response path. Any client with the shared peer API key, plus Cloudflare Access credentials if required by the deployment, can force an error without a race or user interaction. `GET /peer/items/:id` and `GET /servers/health` can expose the internal media-server key, while `GET /torznab/download/:id` can expose another peer's key and Cloudflare Access secrets. The /peer/search and /items routes catch these errors and are not affected. Disclosed internal keys grant full administrative control of the corresponding Radarr/Sonarr instance, crossing the intended boundary between friends' shared pee

Software installed and run as a non-privileged user may conduct improper GPU system calls causing a stack overflow in the kernel. The overflow occurs when processing resolved Linux/Android fence synchronization checkpoints, while user checkpoints are excluded from the stack array. Successful exploitation can cause kernel memory corruption and typically results in a denial-of-service condition through a kernel crash. The code vulnerability is a buffer write beyond the allocated array on the stack caused by copying excessive data from an internal buffer.

Oct 28, 2026Echo is a Go web framework.CVE-2026-118658 · Other software · labstack · reported by GitHubMedium 4.7
Echo is a Go web framework. Prior to 4.15.2 and 5.1.1, Context.Scheme returns values from X-Forwarded-Proto, X-Forwarded-Protocol, or X-Url-Scheme without validating that they are supported web schemes. WWWRedirect and NonWWWRedirect use that value to construct a Location header, so an attacker controlling a forwarded scheme header can cause a redirect to use an arbitrary URI scheme. Exploitation requires an affected redirect middleware and user interaction with the response; the HTTPS-specific redirect variants hardcode HTTPS and are unaffected. This issue is fixed in 4.15.2 and 5.1.1.

Oct 28, 2026Echo is a Go web framework.CVE-2026-118657 · Other software · labstack · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9
Echo is a Go web framework. Prior to 4.16.0 and 5.4.0, Context.Scheme unconditionally trusts forwarded scheme headers from any client. A client that reaches Echo directly over plaintext HTTP can claim an HTTPS scheme and bypass HTTPSRedirect because the request is treated as already secure. Separately, behind a TLS-terminating proxy that passes an attacker-controlled header, a claimed HTTP scheme can suppress the Strict-Transport-Security header even though the browser receives the response over HTTPS. The practical risk is reduced when a trusted proxy overwrites the headers and direct backend access is prevented, but the framework previously had no trusted-source configuration for this decision. This issue is fixed in 4.16.0 and 5.4.0.

Oct 28, 2026Echo is a Go web framework.CVE-2026-118656 · Other software · labstack · reported by GitHubMedium 6.1
Echo is a Go web framework. Prior to 4.16.0 and 5.4.0, sanitizeURI checks only the first two bytes of a redirect target before deciding whether it begins with an absolute-path separator pair. When AddTrailingSlash or RemoveTrailingSlash is configured with a redirect status, a slash, TAB, separator path form can evade the guard, be emitted in the Location header, and be normalized by a browser into an attacker-controlled host. This issue is fixed in 4.16.0 and 5.4.0.

Echo is a Go web framework. Prior to 4.15.3 and 5.2.0, middleware.Static can decode an already decoded Request.URL.Path a second time. Oct 28, 2026Echo is a Go web framework.CVE-2026-118654 · Other software · labstack · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9
Echo is a Go web framework. Prior to 4.16.0 and 5.4.0, Echo's static file handlers can normalize dot segments after route matching and serve a file through a public static route even though the corresponding direct path is protected by route-level middleware. An unauthenticated attacker can read files that an application intended to protect with route-level middleware, when those files are also reachable through a static filesystem mount after path normalization. This vulnerability is the result of an incomplete fix for CVE-2026-55677. This issue is fixed in 4.16.0 and 5.4.0.

Oct 28, 2026Echo is a Go web framework.CVE-2026-118653 · Other software · labstack · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
Echo is a Go web framework. From 4.0.0 until 5.1.0, Context.RealIP falls back to client-supplied X-Forwarded-For or X-Real-IP values when Echo.IPExtractor is unset, and the default RateLimiter uses that result as its client identifier. A remote attacker can rotate arbitrary forwarded-address values to obtain new rate-limit buckets and bypass IP-based throttling used for controls such as brute-force or request-volume protection. This issue is fixed in Echo v5.1.0.

Echo is a Go web framework. Prior to 4.16.0 and 5.4.0, Context.JSONP and Context.JSONPBlob concatenate an unvalidated callback value into a JavaScript response. A route that passes attacker-controlled input as the callback can return executable script syntax, allowing reflected cross-site scripting when a user loads the crafted response. The vulnerable jsonPBlob path performs no callback validation or escaping, and exploitation requires an application route that exposes attacker control over the callback argument. Echo is a Go web framework. From 4.0.0 until 5.4.0, the Proxy middleware can preserve an attacker-supplied X-Real-IP header and forward it to an upstream service when Echo.IPExtractor is not configured. A remote client can therefore make upstream services receive a spoofed client address, undermining IP-based access controls, rate limiting, audit logging, or geographic restrictions that trust Echo's forwarded identity. Oct 28, 2026Echo is a Go web framework.CVE-2026-118650 · Other software · labstack · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
Echo is a Go web framework. Prior to 4.16.0 and 5.4.0, a globally mounted middleware.Static instance can interpret an encoded request path differently from Echo's router because the router matches the still-encoded path while the static handler uses the decoded URL.Path. The advisory demonstrates an encoded slash resolving to a file under the static root through the global static middleware, but the source is internally inconsistent about whether a route or group guard protects the corresponding literal path in that global-mount configuration. This issue is fixed in 4.16.0 and 5.4.0.

Oct 28, 2026Echo is a Go web framework.CVE-2026-118266 · Other software · labstack · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
Echo is a Go web framework. Prior to 4.16.0 and 5.4.0, Echo's MethodOverride middleware accepts a safe HTTP method as the override target for a POST request. When MethodOverride is registered before CSRF in the post-routing middleware chain, route selection retains the original state-changing POST handler but the override changes the method before CSRF evaluates it, causing both token validation and Sec-Fetch-Site checks to be skipped. A cross-site exploit requires an authenticated victim and an override value that a browser-submitted request can control, such as the form getter used by the advisory reproducer; the default X-HTTP-Method-Override header getter is not settable by a cross-site form. This issue is fixed in 4.16.0 and 5.4.0.

Oct 28, 2026Echo is a Go web framework.CVE-2026-118265 · Other software · labstack · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
Echo is a Go web framework. From 5.0.0 until 5.4.1, Echo v5's ExtractIPFromRealIPHeader validates whether the client-supplied X-Real-IP value belongs to a trusted range instead of validating the direct network peer. A client reaching Echo directly, or through a proxy that preserves the header, can supply a loopback or private address and have Context.RealIP return that spoofed identity. Applications using the extractor for IP allowlists, rate limiting, audit logs, or forwarding headers can consequently trust an attacker-controlled address; the default direct extractor and Echo v4 are unaffected. Oct 28, 2026Echo is a Go web framework.CVE-2026-118264 · Other software · labstack · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1
Echo is a Go web framework. From 4.0.0 until 4.16.1 and 5.4.1, Echo's Proxy middleware selects a raw tunnel from a client WebSocket upgrade request before verifying that the configured upstream accepted the upgrade. If the upstream rejects the upgrade with an ordinary keep-alive response, later HTTP requests on the connection are sent directly to that upstream without passing through Echo's router or route-specific middleware. This can bypass authentication or authorization enforced only by Echo routes, but requires an accessible proxy route, a cooperating rejected-upgrade response, and a target without independent upstream authorization. This issue is fixed in 4.16.1 and 5.4.1.

Echo is a Go web framework. From 5.0.0 until 5.4.1, Echo v5's BodyDump middleware can discard a BodyLimit overflow error for an unknown-length request when BodyDump's capture limit is below the BodyLimit threshold. BodyDump drains the remaining body while ignoring read errors and replaces it with the captured prefix, so an HTTP/1.1 chunked request can be truncated and processed successfully even though the original body exceeded the configured limit. Known-length requests rejected before BodyDump runs are unaffected, and the issue does not establish a general authentication bypass or denial of service. This issue is fixed in 5.4.1.

Echo is a Go web framework. From 4.15.0 until 4.16.1 and 5.4.1, Echo's Proxy middleware can retain a handler, copy goroutines, and network connections after a WebSocket client disconnects when the upstream keeps its connection open. The raw proxy waits for both copy directions without reliably closing the peer connection when one direction ends, including when a rejected upgrade response uses HTTP keep-alive. Repeated connections can accumulate resources and cause denial of service, depending on proxy-route accessibility, upstream behavior, and connection deadlines. The specific flaw exists within the prh_sdp_service_search_decode function. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of the length of user-supplied data prior to copying it to a stack-based buffer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of root. Was ZDI-CAN-29069.

Oct 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing/histograms: Reject non-stacktrace fields for synthetic stacktrace fields In check_CVE-2026-99163 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing/histograms: Reject non-stacktrace fields for synthetic stacktrace fields In check_synth_field(), when a synthetic event field is a stacktrace (field->is_stack) and the histogram field is not a "long[" stacktrace array, validation falls through to the generic size and signedness comparison. Because parse_synth_field() sets a stacktrace field's type to "__data_loc unsigned long[]", its size is sizeof(u64) and synth_field_signed() marks it as signed. Consequently, any 8-byte signed scalar histogram field passes the fallback check, and its scalar value is subsequently dereferenced as a kernel stacktrace pointer in get_field_size() and trace_stack(). Furthermore, checking strstr(hist_field->type, "long[") is insufficient because tracepoint fields defined with __bitmask() or __rel_bitmask() also have type "__data_loc unsigned long[]" or "__rel_loc unsigned long[]", whilst create_hist_field() treats them as 4-byte scalar values without HIST_FIELD_FL_STACKTRACE. Propagate HIST_FIELD_FL_STACKTRACE to variable references and field variables (whilst excluding variable aliases from per-element stacktrace capture)

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Check operator stack capacity before pushing predicate_parse() uses the first operator stack entry before processing any opening parentheses. A push then increments top before writing. The existing check still permits that write when top already points to the last allocated entry, which can access beyond the operator stack. Reject the push when top reaches the last allocated entry.
