  • Oct 14, 2026YOURLS is a self-hosted, customizable URL shortener written in PHP.CVE-2026-62858 · Other software · YOURLS · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

YOURLS is a self-hosted, customizable URL shortener written in PHP. Prior to 1.10.5, yourls_get_request() extracted the request path without sanitization, after which yourls_sanitize_url() and yourls_esc_url() preserved dot and slash traversal sequences before an attacker-controlled keyword reached file_exists() and include() under YOURLS_PAGEDIR. An unauthenticated remote attacker could traverse outside the intended pages directory and include a local PHP file that was already present on the server, such as an uploaded or injected file, causing the file to execute in the YOURLS web process. This issue is fixed in version 1.10.5.

  • Aug 24, 2026BetterLinks – Link Shortener, Link Cloaking, Redirects, Affiliate Link Manager & MCP: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-19801 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The BetterLinks – Link Shortener, Link Cloaking, Redirects, Affiliate Link Manager & MCP plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 3.1.0. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to create arbitrary BetterLinks short URLs with attacker-controlled slugs and redirect destinations, enabling phishing and SEO abuse. Exploitation requires the Fluent Boards companion plugin to be installed and active (so that the FLUENT_BOARDS constant is defined), and is further facilitated by the betterlinks_admin_nonce nonce being emitted on every frontend page via wp_localize_script, making it accessible to any authenticated user.

  • Aug 21, 2026YOURLS is a self-hosted, customizable URL shortener written in PHP.CVE-2026-63135 · Other software · YOURLS · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

YOURLS is a self-hosted, customizable URL shortener written in PHP. From 1.5.1 until 1.10.4, YOURLS stores the HTTP Referer header through yourls_get_referrer(), yourls_sanitize_url_safe(), and yourls_log_redirect(), then aggregates the value in yourls-infos.php and passes the derived domain through yourls_get_domain(), yourls_stats_pie(), and yourls_google_array_to_data_table(). The chart builder concatenates labels into inline JavaScript without JavaScript-string escaping, so an unauthenticated attacker can poison the statistics of an existing short URL with a crafted referrer. When an administrator or public stats-page viewer opens the affected statistics page, attacker-controlled JavaScript executes in the YOURLS origin and can access admin-visible data, the API signature token, and privileged same-origin actions. This issue is fixed in version 1.10.4.

  • Jul 4, 2026In Trail of Bits fickling versions up to and including 0.1.11, the UnsafeImportsML analysis pass unconditionally calls AnalysisContext.shorten_code(node) on eveCVE-2026-14535 · Other software · trailofbits · reported by aa17e1a1-c329-4d6e-a1ed-8d0188aea082High 8.8

In Trail of Bits fickling versions up to and including 0.1.11, the UnsafeImportsML analysis pass unconditionally calls AnalysisContext.shorten_code(node) on every import node it inspects, regardless of whether the import is flagged as unsafe. This call registers the shortened code representation in the shared AnalysisContext.reported_shortened_code set. When the MLAllowlist analysis pass subsequently runs, it calls the same shorten_code() method, receives already_reported=True for every import, and executes a continue statement that skips its allowlist check entirely. This renders MLAllowlist dead code for all imports — it never evaluates whether an import is in the ML allowlist or not. The MLAllowlist pass was designed to catch imports of modules outside the known-safe ML ecosystem (torch, numpy, transformers, etc.) that slip past the UnsafeImports denylist. With MLAllowlist inoperative, any standard library module not in the UNSAFE_IMPORTS denylist can be invoked via pickle deserialization while fickling's check_safety() returns LIKELY_SAFE. The fickling.load() API chains check_safety() into pickle.loads() as an explicit security gate, meaning a LIKELY_SAFE verdict causes the pay

Any user (even guests) can create these docs, even if they don't exist already. This can enable guest users to denature the structure of wiki pages, by creating 1000's of pages with random name, that then become very difficult to handle by admins. Version 1.2.4 fixes the issue. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Revert "readahead: properly shorten readahead when falling back to do_page_cache_ra()" This reverts commit 7c877586da3178974a8a94577b6045a48377ff25. Anders and Philippe have reported that recent kernels occasionally hang when used with NFS in readahead code. The problem has been bisected to 7c877586da3 ("readahead: properly shorten readahead when falling back to do_page_cache_ra()"). The cause of the problem is that ra->size can be shrunk by read_pages() call and subsequently we end up calling do_page_cache_ra() with negative (read huge positive) number of pages. Let's revert 7c877586da3 for now until we can find a proper way how the logic in read_pages() and page_cache_ra_order() can coexist. This can lead to reduced readahead throughput due to readahead window confusion but that's better than outright hangs.

  • Feb 1, 2021Polr is an open source URL shortener.CVE-2021-21276 · Other software · cydrobolt · reported by GitHubCritical 9.3

Polr is an open source URL shortener. in Polr before version 2.3.0, a vulnerability in the setup process allows attackers to gain admin access to site instances, even if they do not possess an existing account. This vulnerability exists regardless of users' settings. If an attacker crafts a request with specific cookie headers to the /setup/finish endpoint, they may be able to obtain admin privileges on the instance. This is caused by a loose comparison (==) in SetupController that is susceptible to attack. The project has been patched to ensure that a strict comparison (===) is used to verify the setup key, and that /setup/finish verifies that no users table exists before performing any migrations or provisioning any new accounts. This is fixed in version 2.3.0. Users can patch this vulnerability without upgrading by adding abort(404) to the very first line of finishSetup in SetupController.php.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
