Oct 31, 2026Seraphinite Accelerator: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-90960 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3
The Seraphinite Accelerator plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 2.29.24 via the WP_Object_Cache::_getFilePath. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract complete WordPress user records — including plaintext user_login, user_email, hashed user_pass, and user_activation_key — from predictable gzip-serialized cache files at wp-content/cache/seraphinite-accelerator/oc/g/users/g/<USER_ID>.dat.gz. This vulnerability is only exploitable when the plugin's Object Cache feature is enabled, and requires the attacker to first trigger caching of the target user record (e.g., via an unauthenticated REST API request) before retrieving the resulting cache file.

Oct 31, 2026Mail logging & Catcher: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-120040 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5
The Mail logging & Catcher plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 2.2.0 via the 'message' parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to extract valid administrator password-reset keys from stored email logs and complete the WordPress password-reset flow to escalate privileges to administrator. Exploitation requires an administrator to have previously configured the plugin's default_view_role setting to a capability held by low-privileged users such as 'read'; on an untouched install the default of 'manage_options' restricts log access to administrators only.

The PDF Invoices & Packing Slips for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 5.16.5 via the 'invoice_number (via document filename)' parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract another customer's complete invoice PDF — including billing identity, shipping address, private order notes, line items, prices, dates, order ID, and invoice number — delivered directly to the attacker's email as an order confirmation attachment. Exploitation requires the plugin's yearly invoice number reset option to be enabled, and the attacker's guest-checkout order must trigger a processing email within 60 seconds of a victim order that shares the same yearly-reset invoice number.

The Everest Forms – Contact Form, Payment Form, Quiz, Survey & Custom Form Builder with AI plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 3.6.2 via the process. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract arbitrary WordPress post meta values — including license keys, API tokens, SMTP credentials, and Stripe or AWS secrets stored on any post type — via form submission notification emails or stored entries. The Related Posts for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 3.0.0 via the 'rp4wp_view' parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to extract the titles and publication dates of all private posts site-wide, normally restricted to Editor-level users and above. The page's existing authorization check only verifies edit_posts and edit_post on a parent post the attacker owns, both of which any Contributor satisfies, leaving no effective gate against reading other authors' private posts.

Oct 28, 2026Related Posts for: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-109979 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3
The Related Posts for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in versions up to, and including, 3.0.0 via the 'rp4wp_create_link' parameter of the hidden 'rp4wp_link_related' admin page. The handle_create_link() handler verifies the nonce and that the current user can edit the parent post, but never checks that the attacker-supplied child post ID is one the user is allowed to read; LinkRepository::insert() stores the arbitrary child ID without validation, and ManageLinks::render() later calls LinkRepository::get_children() in its no-extra-args fast path, which falls through to array_map('get_post', $child_ids) — bypassing read_private_posts/read_post capability checks — and then echoes esc_html($child->post_title) in the parent's editor meta box. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to read the titles of arbitrary non-public posts (drafts, pending, private, future, trashed) authored by higher-privileged users by linking those post IDs to a draft they own and then reading the resulting meta box.

Oct 28, 2026Animated Text Block: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-116613 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5
The Animated Text Block plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in versions up to, and including, 1.2.6 via the 'animated-text' shortcode. This is due to the atb_shortcode_handler() function fetching an arbitrary post by attacker-supplied ID and, in the 'publish' branch, calling displayContent() with no capability check and no validation that the post's post_type is the plugin's own CPT or is otherwise viewable (is_post_type_viewable()). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to read the rendered block content of any published post, including posts of non-public custom post types (public=false, show_in_rest=false) that WordPress would otherwise hide from direct URLs and the REST API.

Oct 19, 2026Sensei LMS: Contains a broken access control vulnerability in the legacy save_new_message handler hooked on the init actionCVE-2026-112329 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.3
The Sensei LMS WordPress plugin before 4.26.4 contains a broken access control vulnerability in the legacy save_new_message handler hooked on the init action, which validates only a generic nonce without verifying course enrollment or restricting post_id to valid post types. The Sensei LMS WordPress plugin before 4.26.4 contains a broken access control vulnerability in the add_new_module_term AJAX handler that allows authenticated Teacher-role attackers to assign module taxonomy terms to arbitrary courses by supplying a crafted course_id, since the handler validates only a generic nonce and checks manage_options solely for slug prefixing rather than verifying course edit permissions. Oct 16, 2026Modula Image Gallery – Photo Grid & Video Gallery: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-107659 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5
The Modula Image Gallery – Photo Grid & Video Gallery plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 3.0.11 via the 'id (post ID in /wp-json/wp/v2/modula-gallery/{id}) or none for collection route' parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract the plaintext Password Protect password and username for every published gallery from the modulaSettings REST field. The plugin's own /wp-json/modula/v2/gallery/{id}/settings endpoint correctly redacts the password for unauthenticated callers via redact_settings_for_public(), but no equivalent redaction is applied on the core /wp-json/wp/v2/modula-gallery path exposed by show_in_rest=true CPT registration.

The Appointment Booking Plugin – LatePoint | Calendar & Scheduling for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 5.7.3 via the 'params[customer][first_name]' parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to extract privileged booking data including the administrator-only admin_notes field, assigned agent internal contact details, transaction tokens, and payment request URLs delivered via rendered notification emails. A LatePoint customer can exploit this by storing a template placeholder such as {{customer_admin_notes}} in their own first_name field via the customer_cabinet__update route, then triggering the password-reset email flow to receive the expanded value in the resulting notification.

Oct 10, 2026SpeedyCache – Cache, Optimization, Performance: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-104006 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceLow 3.7
The SpeedyCache – Cache, Optimization, Performance plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.2 via the 'comment_author_*, comment_author_email_*' parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract the full name and email address of returning commenters pre-filled into comment form input fields and persisted as the site-wide cached page by any unauthenticated attacker requesting the same public URL. The read-side handler in advanced-cache.php correctly skips cached delivery for requests carrying comment_author_* cookies, but this check is absent on the write path, meaning the cache poisoning is invisible to the victim commenter yet fully exploitable by any unauthenticated attacker with no cookies.

Oct 10, 2026Order Export & Order Import for WooCommerce: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-94375 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3
The Order Export & Order Import for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 2.7.8 via the get_file_path. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract download exported order CSV files containing customer PII — including names, billing and shipping addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, and order contents — directly over HTTP with no authentication. This is exploitable whenever the .htaccess and index.php guard files are absent from wp-content/webtoffee_export/, which can occur after any uninstall/reinstall cycle, migration, backup restore, or staging sync, since the export directory persists but its guard files do not; export filenames follow a fully deterministic second-precision timestamp pattern, making them brute-forceable across any suspected export window.

Oct 10, 2026Download Manager: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-103964 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3
The Download Manager plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 3.3.71 via the 'first_name' parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to extract the administrator's full Cookie header, including wordpress_logged_in_* session cookies, from the suspension email sent during the administrator's authenticated request, enabling full session hijack and account takeover. Exploitation requires an administrator to perform the Suspend action against the attacker's account, which causes the plugin to synchronously compile and send the suspension email inside the administrator's authenticated HTTP request — making the administrator's session cookies available to the template engine at send time.

Oct 10, 2026Bookly – Online Scheduling and Appointment Booking System: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-103365 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3
The Bookly – Online Scheduling and Appointment Booking System plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in versions up to, and including, 28.4 via the classic booking form's Details step. The endpoint bookly_render_details is registered for both wp_ajax and wp_ajax_nopriv, the module overrides csrfTokenValid() to always return true, and Bookly\Frontend\Components\Booking\InfoText::getCodes() calls UserBookingData::getCustomer() to load the persisted Customer entity keyed solely by the attacker-supplied phone (or email) with no invocation of the plugin's own customerIdentityConfirmed() predicate. When a site owner has placed the supported {client_name}, {client_email}, {client_phone}, or {client_note} placeholders into the Details step's Appearance information text, the matched customer's stored name, email, phone and internal notes are substituted into the returned HTML. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers who know only a registered customer's primary phone (or email) to read that customer's stored personal data.
