  • Oct 29, 2026joi is a schema description language and data validator for JavaScript.CVE-2026-118772 · Other software · hapijs · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

joi is a schema description language and data validator for JavaScript. From 17.1.1 until 17.13.9 and 18.3.1, the Joi.string().email({ multiple: true }) rule uses a separator regular expression whose leading whitespace quantifier is retried at every position in a long whitespace run that contains no separator, causing quadratic work during String.prototype.split. The behavior applies to the default separator and every custom separator. Applications that validate attacker-controlled values with the multiple option and no effective prior length limit can have the Node.js event loop blocked for seconds by one request, preventing other work. A .max() rule is not sufficient when abortEarly: false allows the email rule to run after the maximum-length check fails. This vulnerability is fixed in versions 17.13.9 and 18.3.1.

  • Oct 29, 2026Schema App Structured Data: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-96666 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Schema App Structured Data plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Comment Content via 'Remove Microdata' Output Filter in all versions up to, and including, 2.3.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires that an administrator has enabled the plugin's 'Remove Microdata' option and approves the malicious comment.

  • Oct 28, 2026GraphQL Tools provides utilities for building, stitching, and mocking GraphQL schemas.CVE-2026-118666 · Other software · ardatan · reported by GitHubMedium 6

GraphQL Tools provides utilities for building, stitching, and mocking GraphQL schemas. Prior to version 1.1.36 of the GraphQL Tools legacy WebSocket executor package, buildWSLegacyExecutor in packages/executors/legacy-ws/src/index.ts reuses one WebSocket and replaces its single websocket.onmessage handler whenever a new overlapping subscription starts. The handler delivers LEGACY_WS.DATA frames to the newest observer without comparing data.id with the subscription operation id, so a caller using the same executor can receive another user's authorized subscription payload while the earlier caller's stream is starved. This issue is fixed in version 1.1.36 of the GraphQL Tools legacy WebSocket executor package.

GraphQL Tools provides utilities for building, stitching, and mocking GraphQL schemas. Prior to version 1.1.36 of the GraphQL Tools legacy WebSocket executor package, buildWSLegacyExecutor in packages/executors/legacy-ws/src/index.ts retains request.extensions.connectionParams in the closure-scoped executorConnectionParams object after cleanupWebsocket closes a connection. When one executor is reused across different authorization contexts, a later request that omits a sensitive key can send an earlier caller's Authorization or tenant value in its connection_init payload, causing the downstream server to authenticate the later caller as the earlier user. Applications that create a new executor for every request are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 1.1.36 of the GraphQL Tools legacy WebSocket executor package.

  • Oct 23, 2026GraphQL Scalars is a library of custom GraphQL scalars for creating precise type-safe GraphQL schemas.CVE-2026-115887 · Other software · graphql-hive · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

GraphQL Scalars is a library of custom GraphQL scalars for creating precise type-safe GraphQL schemas. From 1.24.1 until 2.0.1, GraphQLPhoneNumber in src/scalars/PhoneNumber.ts uses ambiguous nested digit quantifiers that backtrack exponentially when a PhoneNumber value contains a run of digits followed by a character that makes the match fail. GraphQL evaluates parseLiteral during document validation and parseValue during variable coercion before resolver authentication or authorization, so a small unauthenticated request can block the Node.js event loop and stall the server process. serialize is also affected when unvalidated stored values are returned through the scalar. This issue is fixed in version 2.0.1.

A client-side encryption schema construction component in the MongoDB C# Driver places caller-supplied field identifiers into a position that is interpreted as a pattern expression, without normalizing or validating them. As a result, an application that designates certain fields for client-side field-level encryption may have the protection silently fail to apply, so data intended to be encrypted is stored and returned in cleartext; conversely, the rule may apply more broadly than intended. No user action is required to cause the condition, and any party with ordinary read access to the stored data — without possession of the encryption keys — can observe the unprotected values.

The Pulsar broker serves two schema commands on its binary protocol: GetSchema, which returns the schema registered for a topic, and GetOrCreateSchema, which registers a new schema version for an existing topic. The broker handled both commands after checking only that the client connection was authenticated. Unlike the broker's other topic commands, such as those for creating producers and consumers or for looking up topics, these two commands did not check whether the authenticated client was authorized for the target topic. The Pulsar REST API endpoints for schemas were not affected. An authenticated client without any permission on the target topic, namespace or tenant could use these commands to: - read the schema registered for a topic in another namespace or tenant, disclosing the schema definition such as record field names and types. Message payloads are not disclosed. - register a new schema version on an existing topic in another namespace or tenant. The topic's schema compatibility and schema auto-update policies still apply. datamodel-code-generator generates Python data models from schema definitions. From 0.59.0 until 0.81.0, an attacker-controlled Protobuf schema can supply absolute or parent-directory paths captured by WEAK_IMPORT_PATTERN and consumed by _write_missing_weak_imports in src/datamodel_code_generator/parser/protobuf.py. Exploitation requires a victim or automated job to process the attacker-controlled schema with Protobuf input support, which requires the grpcio-tools package. The paths escape the weak_imports temporary directory before protoc runs, allowing creation of directory trees and new files or overwrite of existing writable files with a generated Protobuf syntax declaration. The effect persists when later Protobuf compilation fails. The written content is limited to a proto2 or proto3 syntax declaration, and direct arbitrary code execution has not been demonstrated. This issue is fixed in version 0.81.0.

Improper Input Validation vulnerability in BeamMCP.Schema in ScriptKittyOS beam_mcp allows an MCP client to reach a tool's dispatch function with arguments that violate the input schema the server advertised. BeamMCP.Schema.validate/2 checked type, required, additionalProperties, enum and numeric bounds on the top-level arguments object only. Constraints inside nested objects and on array items (items, minItems, maxItems, minLength, maxLength, pattern, nested required, enum and additionalProperties: false) were advertised by tools/list and never checked at tools/call or prompts/get, and keywords outside the enforced subset (oneOf, anyOf, $ref) were advertised and ignored. A host whose dispatch code relies on the schema it declared receives values the schema forbids, such as an out-of-range number or an undeclared key inside a nested object. What the host does with such a value decides the impact. This issue affects beam_mcp: from 0.1.0 before 0.10.1.

  • Oct 5, 2026GraphQL Tools provides utilities for building, stitching, and mocking GraphQL schemas.CVE-2026-104852 · Other software · ardatan · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

GraphQL Tools provides utilities for building, stitching, and mocking GraphQL schemas. Prior to 12.0.1, the GraphQL Tools utils package's mergeDeep function follows inherited properties while recursively merging source objects and does not exclude __proto__, constructor, or prototype keys. An unauthenticated GraphQL client can alias fields to those names so responses from two subgraphs collide during ordinary supergraph result merging, causing mergeDeep to traverse Object and Function prototypes and overwrite Function.prototype.call with a subgraph-supplied value. This breaks subsequent requests in the process until restart. This issue is fixed in version 12.0.1.

The The All in One SEO – AI SEO Plugin to Boost SEO Rankings & Traffic (Schema, Local SEO, Sitemap & SEO Insights) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to, and including, 5.0.2 This is due to the software allowing users to execute an action that does not properly validate a value before running do_shortcode. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary shortcodes. This requires the AIOSEO breadcrumb to be rendered on the search results page via the block, widget, shortcode, or template tag.

  • Oct 1, 2026GraphQL Tools provides utilities for building, stitching, and mocking GraphQL schemas.CVE-2026-103921 · Other software · ardatan · reported by GitHubHigh 7.4

GraphQL Tools provides utilities for building, stitching, and mocking GraphQL schemas. Prior to 1.1.35, the executor-legacy-ws buildWSLegacyExecutor() function hardcodes TLS certificate rejection off for Node.js connections to wss:// endpoints. Applications using the executor directly, or url-loader with SubscriptionProtocol.LEGACY_WS, can therefore accept an attacker-controlled certificate when a network-positioned attacker intercepts the connection. Authentication material in connectionParams or headers can be disclosed, and subscription data can be modified. Browser WebSocket clients are unaffected because browsers enforce certificate validation. This issue is fixed in version 1.1.35.

The WordLift – AI powered SEO – Schema plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 3.54.10 via the JSON-LD REST API endpoints. This is due to the plugin registering the /wordlift/v1/jsonld/ routes (jsonld/{id}, jsonld/http/{item_id}, jsonld/post-meta/{meta_key}, jsonld/meta/{meta_key}, and jsonld/{post_type}/{post_name}) with a permission_callback of '__return_true' and the downstream converter retrieving the post via get_post() without verifying the post status or the requesting user's capabilities. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read the title, content/description, author, publication and modification dates, word count, comment count, and other metadata of private, draft, and pending posts by enumerating post IDs, bypassing WordPress core access controls.
