  • Sep 16, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: qla2xxx: Fix FCE trace use-after-free during firmware dump qla2x00_free_fce_trace() CVE-2026-89853 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: qla2xxx: Fix FCE trace use-after-free during firmware dump qla2x00_free_fce_trace() freed and cleared ha->fce while holding only fce_mutex. The firmware-dump consumers qla27xx_fwdt_entry_t264() and qla25xx_copy_fce() read ha->fce (NULL check followed by a copy of the buffer) under hardware_lock and never take fce_mutex. A debugfs FCE disable could therefore free the DMA buffer between a dump's NULL check and its copy, resulting in a use-after-free. Unpublish ha->fce under hardware_lock, then release the lock and free the DMA buffer (dma_free_coherent() may sleep). A concurrent dump either completes its check and copy with the buffer still valid, or observes ha->fce == NULL and skips it.

  • Jul 19, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: iwlwifi: mld: stop TX during firmware restart When iwlwifi firmware crashes (e.g., NCVE-2026-64175 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: iwlwifi: mld: stop TX during firmware restart When iwlwifi firmware crashes (e.g., NMI_INTERRUPT_UNKNOWN on Intel BE201/Wi-Fi 7), iwl_mld_nic_error() sets mld->fw_status.in_hw_restart to true. However, iwl_mld_tx_from_txq() does not check this flag before dequeuing frames from mac80211 and pushing them to the transport layer. Since the firmware is dead, iwl_trans_tx() returns -EIO for each frame, which then gets freed immediately. Under high-throughput conditions (e.g., Tailscale UDP traffic or active SSH sessions), this creates a tight dequeue-send-fail-free loop that wastes CPU cycles and generates rapid skb allocation churn, leading to memory pressure from slab fragmentation. The RX path already has this guard (iwl_mld_rx_mpdu checks in_hw_restart at rx.c:1906), and so does the TXQ allocation worker (iwl_mld_add_txqs_wk at tx.c:156). Add the same guard to iwl_mld_tx_from_txq() to stop all TX during firmware restart. Frames left in mac80211's TXQs are naturally drained after restart completes, when queue reallocation triggers iwl_mld_tx_from_txq() via iwl_mld_add_txq_list(), or when new upper-layer tra

  • May 27, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/mlx5: Fix UMR hang in LAG error state unload During firmware reset in LAG mode, a racCVE-2026-45973 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/mlx5: Fix UMR hang in LAG error state unload During firmware reset in LAG mode, a race condition causes the driver to hang indefinitely while waiting for UMR completion during device unload. See [1]. In LAG mode the bond device is only registered on the master, so it never sees sys_error events from the slave. During firmware reset this causes UMR waits to hang forever on unload as the slave is dead but the master hasn't entered error state yet, so UMR posts succeed but completions never arrive. Fix this by adding a sys_error notifier that gets registered before MLX5_IB_STAGE_IB_REG and stays alive until after ib_unregister_device(). This ensures error events reach the bond device throughout teardown. • Jul 10, 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath12k: Prevent sending WMI commands to firmware during firmware crash Currently, weCVE-2025-38291 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath12k: Prevent sending WMI commands to firmware during firmware crash Currently, we encounter the following kernel call trace when a firmware crash occurs. This happens because the host sends WMI commands to the firmware while it is in recovery, causing the commands to fail and resulting in the kernel call trace. Set the ATH12K_FLAG_CRASH_FLUSH and ATH12K_FLAG_RECOVERY flags when the host driver receives the firmware crash notification from MHI. This prevents sending WMI commands to the firmware during recovery. Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
