Oct 21, 2026NoMachine Redis Improper Authentication Local Privilege Escalation Vulnerability.CVE-2026-92209 · Other software · NoMachine · reported by zdi-disclosures@trendmicro.comHigh 7.8
NoMachine Redis Improper Authentication Local Privilege Escalation Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows local attackers to escalate privileges on affected installations of NoMachine. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the authentication mechanism controlling access to the Redis database. The issue results from using insufficient entropy in the generation of credentials. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of the service account. Was ZDI-CAN-30984.

Oct 21, 2026The Redis protocol implementation in Apache bRPC allowed inline command parsing to allocate and copy the full connection buffer before a complete CRLF-terminateCVE-2026-58064 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.org
The Redis protocol implementation in Apache bRPC allowed inline command parsing to allocate and copy the full connection buffer before a complete CRLF-terminated command was available. A remote attacker with access to a Redis-protocol bRPC service could send long inline inputs without a terminating CRLF to increase memory usage and CPU copy overhead, potentially causing denial of service. Root Cause: The Redis inline command parser allocated memory based on the current input buffer size and copied the entire buffer before determining the current inline command boundary. The existing redis_max_allocation_size limit was applied to RESP bulk strings and arrays, but not effectively to the inline command path before allocation. Affected Scenarios: Use Apache bRPC server with Redis protocol enabled and reachable by untrusted clients. How to Fix: 1. Upgrade Apache bRPC to version 1.18.0, which fixes this issue. 2. Apply the patch from PR https://github.com/apache/brpc/pull/3363 . Note: The fix applies redis_max_allocation_size to Redis inline command lines and scans for CRLF before allocating parser arena memory. Inline command lines exceeding this limit are rejected.

Oct 21, 2026The Redis server command parser in Apache bRPC accepts an empty RESP array as a command header.CVE-2026-56388 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.org
The Redis server command parser in Apache bRPC accepts an empty RESP array as a command header. A remote unauthenticated attacker who can reach a bRPC server with Redis service enabled can send an empty array header followed by a bulk string, causing an out-of-bounds write in the parser and crashing the process. Root Cause: RedisCommandParser::ConsumeImpl rejected negative RESP array counts but accepted zero. It resized the command argument vector to zero elements and continued parsing. When a following bulk string was parsed, the only index guard was a CHECK. In configurations where fatal logs do not abort immediately, execution could continue and write to _args[0] even though the vector was empty. Affected Scenarios: Deployments that enable ServerOptions.redis_service and accept Redis protocol traffic from untrusted clients. The issue is reached during parsing before command handling or authentication. How to Fix: 1. Upgrade bRPC to version 1.18.0, which fixes this issue. 2. Apply this patch: https://github.com/apache/brpc/pull/3354 Note: The fix rejects empty RESP arrays as invalid Redis commands and replaces the internal index CHECK with an explicit parse error so malform

Oct 21, 2026Uncontrolled recursion in the Redis reply parser in Apache bRPC < 1.18.0 allows a remote Redis server peer to crash a bRPC Redis client process by returning a dCVE-2026-54426 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.org
Uncontrolled recursion in the Redis reply parser in Apache bRPC < 1.18.0 allows a remote Redis server peer to crash a bRPC Redis client process by returning a deeply nested RESP array reply. The parser recursed once for each nested array level without enforcing a depth limit. The fix adds a configurable Redis reply depth limit with default value 128 and rejects replies exceeding that limit. Affected Scenarios: Applications using bRPC as a Redis client with ChannelOptions.protocol="redis" and receiving replies from an untrusted or faulty Redis server peer. How to Fix: 1. Upgrade Apache bRPC to 1.18.0. 2. Apply the patch from PR https://github.com/apache/brpc/pull/3344 . Note: After applying the fix, Redis replies with array nesting deeper than redis_max_reply_depth are rejected.

Oct 19, 2026Deserialization of Untrusted Data vulnerability in Apache Camel Spring Redis component.CVE-2026-78165 · Email & office · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 8.8
Deserialization of Untrusted Data vulnerability in Apache Camel Spring Redis component. This issue affects Apache Camel: from 2.11.0 before 4.18.5, from 4.19.0 before 4.22.1. RedisConfiguration.getSerializer lazily built a bare JdkSerializationRedisSerializer whenever no serializer option was configured, and that instance was used for every read the component performs. Spring's implementation delegates through DeserializingConverter to DefaultDeserializer, which reads the bytes with a ConfigurableObjectInputStream and installs no java.io.ObjectInputFilter on the stream, so an arbitrary serialized class graph was materialised and its readObject method executed. RedisConsumer.setBody applied that serializer to the raw bytes of every message published to the subscribed channels, before the Exchange was constructed and therefore before any route logic could inspect the message, so an actor able to issue PUBLISH on a subscribed channel reached the deserialization sink directly. The same default serializer backed the RedisTemplate built by RedisConfiguration.createDefaultTemplate, so the producer read commands GET, HGET, HGETALL and HVALS deserialized whatever was stored in the Red

A malicious or compromised Redis server, or an attacker in a man-in-the-middle position, can send a crafted RESP response declaring an extremely large array, push, or attribute length, causing the client to attempt a massive heap allocation. The resulting OutOfMemoryError crashes the Vert.x event loop thread, denying service to all connections and verticles sharing that loop. The impacted component is io.vertx:vertx-mysql-client.

Oct 6, 2026MISP exposes critical infrastructure settings—specifically the Redis host addresses used by the core application, the ZeroMQ plugin, and the SimpleBackgroundJobCVE-2026-106513 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 6.9
MISP exposes critical infrastructure settings—specifically the Redis host addresses used by the core application, the ZeroMQ plugin, and the SimpleBackgroundJobs plugin—through its web UI and API to site-admin users. The background job workers trust raw Redis job payloads without additional validation. An attacker who obtains a hijacked site-admin session (for example, through a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability) can modify the Redis host settings to point at an attacker-controlled Redis server and then restart the workers. Once the workers connect to the attacker's Redis instance, the attacker can inject malicious job payloads that the workers execute, achieving arbitrary command execution as the worker account. Additionally, the download_attachments_on_load setting, which controls inline attachment rendering, was modifiable through the same interface, allowing a hijacked session to re-enable a feature that could facilitate further client-side attacks. The vulnerability requires site-admin privileges and a prior session-compromise mechanism; it does not require unauthenticated access. The impact is remote code execution in the context of the MISP worker process and potenti

heym before 0.0.105 does not act on the result of the credential authorization lookup in the Redis workflow node (backend/app/services/node_execution/nodes/redis_node.py). When _get_accessible_credential returns None — because the credential ID does not exist or the caller is not authorized to use it — the node treats the lookup failure as an empty configuration and falls back to defaults, connecting to localhost:6379 with no password and executing the requested operation there. The same fallback occurs when an accessible credential has an empty config or no redis_host value. An authenticated workflow author who supplies a credential ID they do not own, or one that was deleted, therefore obtains a read/write connection to whatever Redis is listening on the backend's loopback interface instead of an error. Impact depends on the deployment: the stock docker-compose.yml ships no Redis, in which case the flaw surfaces as a misleading connection error rather than data exposure.

Sep 1, 2026Predis is a flexible and feature-complete Redis and Valkey client for PHP.CVE-2026-84372 · Other software · predis · reported by GitHubCritical 9.8
Predis is a flexible and feature-complete Redis and Valkey client for PHP. From version 3.0.0-RC1 until version 3.3.0, pipeline handling on aggregate cluster and replication connections reparses an already serialized RESP buffer in AbstractAggregateConnection::write() by splitting it with explode("\r\n") instead of honoring RESP length prefixes. Attacker-controlled keys or values containing CRLF sequences can therefore be interpreted by Command::deserializeCommand() as additional commands. On cluster connections, ClusterStrategy::getFakeKey() can route injected keyless commands using the literal fake key value "key", permitting operations such as shard-wide cache deletion, targeted data modification, data reads, or node disruption. On replication connections, malformed reparsing can throw an uncaught exception and repeatedly terminate affected requests. Only pipeline() reaches this vulnerable path; transaction() and MULTI are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 3.3.0.

Ransomlook contains a Redis glob pattern injection vulnerability caused by insufficient neutralization of user-controlled input before it is incorporated into Redis SCAN MATCH patterns. The /api/health/<name> endpoint attempted to resolve the supplied name to a known group or market, but when resolution failed it fell back to using the attacker-controlled value directly in a Redis key pattern. An unauthenticated attacker could therefore supply Redis glob metacharacters such as *, ?, [ or ] to broaden the SCAN operation beyond the intended group. For example, requesting /api/health/* could enumerate health information, mirror slugs, and uptime series belonging to all groups and markets, including entities marked as private. Similar unsafe interpolation was present in /api/crypto/chain/<chain> and in the delete_manual_torrent() function. The latter represents a potentially destructive sink because a crafted infohash containing glob metacharacters could cause the scan to match torrent-health keys belonging to other torrents if attacker-controlled input can reach that function. The patch removes the unsafe fallback from the health endpoint and introduces glob escaping for user-co

Jun 5, 2026An authenticated Redis session could be used to obtain full root access to all servers in the CVX cluster.CVE-2025-5088 · Other software · Arista Networks · reported by psirt@arista.comHigh 8.7
An authenticated Redis session could be used to obtain full root access to all servers in the CVX cluster. Note that this would require an attacker to have both network access to the Redis service on a CVX server and the Redis password. Please note that all Redis communication, including authentication, occurs over plaintext in the present day. TLS support is tracked under RFE1294850.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: arm64: Eagerly init vgic dist/redist on vgic creation If vgic_allocate_private_irqs_locked() fails for any odd reason, we exit kvm_vgic_create() early, leaving dist->rd_regions uninitialised. kvm_vgic_dist_destroy() then comes along and walks into the weeds trying to free the RDs. Got to love this stuff. Solve it by moving all the static initialisation early, and make sure that if we fail halfway, we're in a reasonable shape to perform the rest of the teardown. While at it, reset the vgic model on failure, just in case...

May 5, 2026RedisBloom is a probabilistic data structures module for Redis.CVE-2026-25589 · Other software · RedisBloom · reported by GitHubHigh 7.7
RedisBloom is a probabilistic data structures module for Redis. In all versions of RedisBloom before 2.8.20, the module does not properly validate serialized values processed through the Redis RESTORE command. An authenticated attacker with permission to execute RESTORE on a server with the RedisBloom module loaded can supply a crafted serialized payload that triggers invalid memory access and may lead to remote code execution. A workaround is to restrict access to the RESTORE command with ACL rules. This issue is fixed in version 2.8.20.

May 5, 2026Redis is an in-memory data structure store.CVE-2026-23631 · Other software · redis · reported by GitHubMedium 6.1
Redis is an in-memory data structure store. In all versions of redis-server with Lua scripting, an authenticated attacker can exploit the master-replica synchronization mechanism to trigger a use-after-free on replicas where replica-read-only is disabled or can be disabled, which may lead to remote code execution. A workaround is to prevent users from executing Lua scripts or avoid using replicas where replica-read-only is disabled. This is patched in version 8.6.3.

May 5, 2026Redis is an in-memory data structure store.CVE-2026-23479 · Other software · redis · reported by GitHubHigh 7.7
Redis is an in-memory data structure store. In redis-server from 7.2.0 until 8.6.3, the unblock client flow does not handle an error return from `processCommandAndResetClient` when re-executing a blocked command. If a blocked client is evicted during this flow, an authenticated attacker can trigger a use-after-free that may lead to remote code execution. This has been patched in version 8.6.3.

Feb 20, 2026@langchain/langgraph-checkpoint-redis is the Redis checkpoint and store implementation for LangGraph.CVE-2026-27022 · Other software · langchain-ai · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
@langchain/langgraph-checkpoint-redis is the Redis checkpoint and store implementation for LangGraph. A query injection vulnerability exists in the @langchain/langgraph-checkpoint-redis package's filter handling. The RedisSaver and ShallowRedisSaver classes construct RediSearch queries by directly interpolating user-provided filter keys and values without proper escaping. RediSearch has special syntax characters that can modify query behavior, and when user-controlled data contains these characters, the query logic can be manipulated to bypass intended access controls. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.2.

Nov 4, 2025Redis is an open source, in-memory database that persists on disk.CVE-2025-62507 · Other software · redis · reported by GitHubHigh 7.7
Redis is an open source, in-memory database that persists on disk. In versions 8.2.0 and above, a user can run the XACKDEL command with multiple ID's and trigger a stack buffer overflow, which may potentially lead to remote code execution. This issue is fixed in version 8.2.3. To workaround this issue without patching the redis-server executable is to prevent users from executing XACKDEL operation. This can be done using ACL to restrict XACKDEL command.
