Oct 29, 2026RSS Aggregator by Feedzy – Feed to Post, Autoblogging, News & YouTube Video Feeds Aggregator: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-110707 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.7
The RSS Aggregator by Feedzy – Feed to Post, Autoblogging, News & YouTube Video Feeds Aggregator plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'media:group/media:description (XML element in the imported feed)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 5.2.12 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires an administrator to configure a Feed-to-Post import pointing at an attacker-controlled feed URL and trigger the import via the Run Now action or setup wizard, which is the plugin's standard configuration flow.

Oct 16, 2026RSS Aggregator by Feedzy – Feed to Post, Autoblogging, News & YouTube Video Feeds Aggregator: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-109207 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2
The RSS Aggregator by Feedzy – Feed to Post, Autoblogging, News & YouTube Video Feeds Aggregator plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'media:thumbnail@url' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 5.2.11 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires the attacker to control an external RSS feed that the target site has already configured for import; no WordPress account or special plugin configuration is needed beyond that condition.

Oct 10, 2026RSS Aggregator by Feedzy – Feed to Post, Autoblogging, News & YouTube Video Feeds Aggregator: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-104735 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The RSS Aggregator by Feedzy – Feed to Post, Autoblogging, News & YouTube Video Feeds Aggregator plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Feedzy Loop Block Feed URL / RSS <title> in all versions up to, and including, 5.2.10 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The payload is not neutralized at save time because post_content stores only a benign block reference to an external feed URL; the malicious HTML is injected at render time from the attacker-controlled RSS feed title, bypassing any save-time wp_kses filtering.

Aug 10, 2026RSS Aggregator by Feedzy: Does not verify that the requesting user owns or is allowed to edit the import job named in the requestCVE-2026-18934 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanMedium 5.5
The RSS Aggregator by Feedzy WordPress plugin before 5.2.6 does not verify that the requesting user owns or is allowed to edit the import job named in the request, allowing users with author-level access and above to permanently delete the posts created by another user's import job, reset its deduplication and scheduling state, disable it, or clear its error log. Jun 5, 2026RSS Aggregator by Feedzy – Feed to Post, Autoblogging, News & YouTube Video Feeds Aggregator: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-8976 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3
The RSS Aggregator by Feedzy – Feed to Post, Autoblogging, News & YouTube Video Feeds Aggregator plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 5.1.7. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to create and execute RSS import jobs, purge (force-delete) all posts associated with any import job, clear import error logs, and enumerate taxonomy terms and post meta_key names. The nonce required to reach these sub-handlers is leaked to any user with the edit_posts capability via the feedzyjs localized script injected into the block editor, meaning no privileged nonce theft or separate exploit step is required for Contributor-level users.

Mar 9, 2026FreshRSS is a free, self-hostable RSS aggregator.CVE-2025-68402 · Other software · FreshRSS · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2
FreshRSS is a free, self-hostable RSS aggregator. From 57e1a37 - 00f2f04, the lengths of the nonce was changed from 40 chars to 64. password_verify() is currently being called with a constructed string (SHA-256 nonce + part of a bcrypt hash) instead of the raw user password. Due to bcrypt’s 72-byte input truncation, this causes password verification to succeed even when the user enters an incorrect password. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.27.2-dev (476e57b). The issue was only present in the edge branch and never in a stable release.

Mar 7, 2026RSS Aggregator – RSS Import, News Feeds, Feed to Post, and Autoblogging: DOM-Based Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-2433 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.1
The RSS Aggregator – RSS Import, News Feeds, Feed to Post, and Autoblogging plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via postMessage in all versions up to, and including, 5.0.11. This is due to the plugin's admin-shell.js registering a global message event listener without origin validation (missing event.origin check) and directly passing user-controlled URLs to window.open() without URL scheme validation. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the context of an authenticated administrator's session by tricking them into visiting a malicious website that sends crafted postMessage payloads to the plugin's admin page.

Dec 26, 2025FreshRSS is a free, self-hostable RSS aggregator.CVE-2025-68932 · Other software · FreshRSS · reported by GitHubLow 2.9
FreshRSS is a free, self-hostable RSS aggregator. Prior to version 1.28.0, FreshRSS uses cryptographically weak random number generators (mt_rand() and uniqid()) to generate remember-me authentication tokens and challenge-response nonces. This allows attackers to predict valid session tokens, leading to account takeover through persistent session hijacking. The remember-me tokens provide permanent authentication and are the sole credential for "keep me logged in" functionality. This issue has been patched in version 1.28.0.

Sep 29, 2025FreshRSS is a free, self-hostable RSS aggregator.CVE-2025-59948 · Other software · FreshRSS · reported by GitHubMedium 6.7
FreshRSS is a free, self-hostable RSS aggregator. Versions 1.26.3 and below do not sanitize certain event handler attributes in feed content, so by finding a page that renders feed entries without CSP, it is possible to execute an XSS payload. The Allow API access authentication setting needs to be enabled by the instance administrator beforehand for the attack to work as it relies on api/query.php. An account takeover is possible by sending a change password request via the XSS payload / setting UserJS for persistence / stealing the autofill password / displaying a phishing page with a spoofed URL using history.replaceState() If the victim is an administrator, the attacker can also perform administrative actions. This issue is fixed in version 1.27.0.

Sep 29, 2025FreshRSS is a free, self-hostable RSS aggregator.CVE-2025-54591 · Other software · FreshRSS · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
FreshRSS is a free, self-hostable RSS aggregator. Versions 1.26.3 and below expose information about feeds and tags of default admin users, due to lack of access checking in the FreshRSS_Auth::hasAccess() function used by some of the tag/feed related endpoints. FreshRSS controllers usually have a defined firstAction() method with an override to make sure that every action requires access. Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
