Sep 23, 2026SigNoz versions from v0.98.0 up to (but not including) v0.143.0, when configured to use the opaque session tokenizer (which was not the default before v0.143.0)CVE-2026-97056 · Other software · SigNoz · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.6
SigNoz versions from v0.98.0 up to (but not including) v0.143.0, when configured to use the opaque session tokenizer (which was not the default before v0.143.0), do not revoke a user's existing login sessions when the user's password is reset with a reset token (UpdatePasswordByResetPasswordToken, reachable via POST /api/v2/factor_password/reset) or when the user is deleted (DeleteUser, reachable via DELETE /api/v2/users/{id}). Neither code path calls the tokenizer's DeleteTokensByUserID, so cached tokens and identities are left in place. An attacker who already holds a session token for the account — for example from a stolen browser session or from a user being offboarded — retains the account's full access, up to administrator, after a password reset until the token reaches its configured maximum lifetime (30 days by default), and after user deletion until the token next rotates (30 minutes by default). This defeats password reset and user deletion as a means of terminating access. The issue is fixed in v0.143.0.

Aug 24, 2026The Lean 4 kernel does not check that the body of an opaque declaration is closed.CVE-2026-72711 · Other software · leanprover · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.8
The Lean 4 kernel does not check that the body of an opaque declaration is closed. environment::add_opaque omits the check_no_metavar_no_fvar call that the definition and theorem paths perform, so a value containing a free variable that is absent from the local context is not rejected outright. A metaprogram can first cause the kernel to create a temporary local of type False and record its type in the type checker's inference cache, then restore the local context while that cache entry persists on the same type checker instance, and finally submit an opaque declaration whose value is the now-unbound variable. The cache lookup answers before the branch that would test membership of the local context, so the kernel infers the cached type and admits an opaque constant of type False, from which any proposition follows. The declaration is accepted through the ordinary checked path at maximum kernel checking, without sorry, unsafeCast, debug.skipKernelTC, addDeclWithoutChecking, foreign code or a modified .olean file, and the result carries no axioms. Fixed in 4.32.2 by adding the missing closure check.

Aug 13, 2026A flaw in Elasticsearch allows a low-privileged authenticated user to submit a single small request containing a forged opaque identifier.CVE-2026-72687 · Other software · Elastic · reported by security@elastic.coMedium 6.5
A flaw in Elasticsearch allows a low-privileged authenticated user to submit a single small request containing a forged opaque identifier. Elasticsearch decodes and deserializes the identifier before confirming that it was legitimately issued by the cluster, and a size value carried inside the identifier drives an allocation that is neither capped nor accounted for by the available memory-usage controls. The resulting out-of-memory condition is fatal and terminates the affected node process, resulting in a denial of service.

Jun 18, 2026An authentication bypass vulnerability exists in the generic opaque token validation path (validateOpaqueToken) of googleapis/mcp-toolbox.CVE-2026-11718 · Computers, phones & browsers · Google · reported by cve-coordination@google.comCritical 9.3
An authentication bypass vulnerability exists in the generic opaque token validation path (validateOpaqueToken) of googleapis/mcp-toolbox. When the toolbox validates an opaque token via an OAuth 2.0 introspection endpoint (RFC 7662), it decodes the response into an introspectResp struct. However, the subsequent claim-checking logic (validateClaims) evaluates the issuer condition as if a.issuer != "" && iss != "". If the external OAuth provider's introspection response omits the optional iss (issuer) field completely, the variable iss defaults to an empty string. This causes the conditional block to evaluate to false and be skipped silently. Consequently, the application accepts tokens issued by unauthorized or unintended third-party identity providers.

Jun 18, 2026An authentication bypass vulnerability exists in the generic opaque token validation path (validateOpaqueToken) of googleapis/mcp-toolbox.CVE-2026-11717 · Computers, phones & browsers · Google · reported by cve-coordination@google.comCritical 9.3
An authentication bypass vulnerability exists in the generic opaque token validation path (validateOpaqueToken) of googleapis/mcp-toolbox. When verifying an unparsed opaque token via an OAuth 2.0 introspection endpoint (RFC 7662), the toolbox decodes the response into an introspectResp struct where the Active field is declared as a pointer to a boolean (*bool). The code only explicitly rejects a token if the response contains a populated active field set to false (if introspectResp.Active != nil && !*introspectResp.Active). If an introspection endpoint responds with a payload that completely omits the mandatory active key, the internal variable remains nil, causing the conditional check to short-circuit. As a result, Toolbox accepts authorization tokens missing the "active" field, granting access to protected tools and underlying data sources.

Nov 12, 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sunrpc: fix null pointer dereference on zero-length checksum In xdr_stream_decode_opaque_aCVE-2025-40129 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sunrpc: fix null pointer dereference on zero-length checksum In xdr_stream_decode_opaque_auth(), zero-length checksum.len causes checksum.data to be set to NULL. This triggers a NPD when accessing checksum.data in gss_krb5_verify_mic_v2(). This patch ensures that the value of checksum.len is not less than XDR_UNIT.

Jun 22, 2024Grey Opaque: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2024-5966 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The Grey Opaque theme for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the ‘url’ parameter within the theme's Download-Button shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 2.0.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
