  • Oct 29, 2026A flaw was found in the platform-mbean component of JBoss EAP, which provides management access to JVM-level metrics and configurations.CVE-2026-19610 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 6.5

A flaw was found in the platform-mbean component of JBoss EAP, which provides management access to JVM-level metrics and configurations. The issue occurs because the handler for the read-resource operation on the runtime management resource fails to perform required Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) checks. This allows an authenticated user with low-privileged access, such as the Monitor role, to view sensitive system properties and JVM configuration details that should be restricted.

  • Oct 28, 2026The broker-side PushTelemetry API (KIP-714) validates only the compressed size of a client's metrics payload against telemetry.max.bytes (default 1 MB) before dCVE-2026-111073 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.org

The broker-side PushTelemetry API (KIP-714) validates only the compressed size of a client's metrics payload against telemetry.max.bytes (default 1 MB) before decompressing it. ClientTelemetryUtils.decompress() then decompresses the payload with no limit on the decompressed output size, growing a heap buffer until the compressed input is exhausted. A small, highly compressible payload (for example gzip-compressed zeros) can therefore expand to hundreds of megabytes of broker heap. Impact: An authenticated client can send a PushTelemetry request with a small compressed payload that decompresses to a very large size, consuming broker heap out of proportion to the request size. Repeated or concurrent requests can exhaust the broker heap and cause an OutOfMemoryError, degrading or crashing the broker; a client that targets multiple brokers can affect cluster availability. PushTelemetry is available to any authenticated client and is not gated by an ACL. Mitigation: Upgrade to Apache Kafka 4.2.2, 4.3.1, or 4.4.0. On affected versions there is no configuration that fully prevents the amplification, because telemetry.max.bytes bounds only the compressed size; lowering telemetry.ma

  • Oct 21, 2026Missing authorization in the REST metrics route of Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.2.25 through 6.3.6 allows a remote authenticated user whose credential is conCVE-2026-114477 · Other software · Progressive Robot Ltd · reported by cve@gitlab.comMedium 4.3

Missing authorization in the REST metrics route of Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.2.25 through 6.3.6 allows a remote authenticated user whose credential is confined to named domains to read the server-wide traffic history. GET /api/v1/metrics/history returns the server's traffic counters over the last 30 days; those counters are server-wide and carry no domain, which is why the report routes already refuse the same counters to a credential confined to named domains. The metrics route was not among the routes the server's authorization gate refuses a confined credential and its handler was not given the caller, so a domain administrator, an account given another role that holds view_configuration in named domains (the auditor role given a domain list among them), or an API key issued for named domains could read the whole server's traffic totals rather than its own domains'. The disclosure is of aggregate operational counters, not of any message or account.

  • Oct 2, 2026The postgresql-operator charm runs a Prometheus postgres_exporter to collect database metrics using a dedicated "monitoring" PostgreSQL user.CVE-2026-104055 · Other software · Canonical · reported by security@ubuntu.comMedium 5.3

The postgresql-operator charm runs a Prometheus postgres_exporter to collect database metrics using a dedicated "monitoring" PostgreSQL user. On database connection errors, the exporter writes the monitoring user's password in cleartext to its logs. Any actor able to read those logs can recover the password, which grants read-only pg_monitor access to PostgreSQL. This is fixed in the dev track (14/edge) in revisions 1189 (arm64) and 1190 (amd64), and in the stable track (14/stable) in revisions 1216 (arm64) and 1217 (amd64).

A flaw was found in the Micrometer user-event metrics listener of Keycloak, a solution for integrated identity and access management. The issue occurs when the listener is configured to include the idp tag. An unauthenticated attacker can send requests to the identity broker login endpoint using arbitrary provider aliases, causing the system to create an unlimited number of metric time series. This can lead to excessive memory consumption and degrade the performance of both the server and its monitoring tools.

  • Sep 21, 2026Fluent Bit is a fast and lightweight logs, metrics, and traces processor for Linux, BSD, macOS, and Windows.CVE-2026-61674 · Other software · fluent · reported by GitHubCritical 9.2

Fluent Bit is a fast and lightweight logs, metrics, and traces processor for Linux, BSD, macOS, and Windows. From 0.11.0 until 5.0.8, plugins/out_forward/forward.c secure_forward_pong copies the server-controlled PONG[2] reason into the 32-byte stack buffer msg with memcpy without checking its MessagePack type or length. An attacker who controls or can impersonate an out_forward Secure Forward destination configured with Shared_Key or Empty_Shared_Key can send an oversized reason during the first handshake and overwrite stack control data. Protected builds reliably terminate, while builds without a stack canary or with a disclosure can allow remote code execution as the Fluent Bit process user. When the opt-in --supervisor mode is used, fork-only respawns preserve the canary and address layout, allowing repeated crash-or-survive probes to support code execution on a hardened build; ordinary exec-based or service-manager restarts do not preserve that state. This issue is fixed in version 5.0.8.

VictoriaMetrics is a scalable solution for monitoring and managing time series data. Prior to 1.122.25, 1.136.12, and 1.146.0, vmrestore does not validate backup part path components before using lib/backup/actions/restore.go and lib/backup/fslocal/fslocal.go to write restored data below storageDataPath. An attacker who can supply or modify an S3, GCS, Azure Blob Storage, or other backup source can place .. components in object names. When an operator restores that source, the crafted names can create or overwrite files outside the intended restore root within the filesystem permissions of the vmrestore process. • Jun 5, 2026OpenXDMoD is an open framework for collecting and analyzing HPC metrics.CVE-2026-45778 · Other software · ubccr · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6

OpenXDMoD is an open framework for collecting and analyzing HPC metrics. Prior to version 11.0.3, an authenticated attacker can inject malicious JavaScript into their Open XDMoD user profile and abuse the password reset functionality to email a link to an HTML page, which when visited by the victim, reflects and executes the unsanitized payload in the victim's browser, potentially leading to credential capture and Open XDMoD account takeover. All deployments of Open XDMoD prior to 11.0.3 are impacted. This issue was reported privately on 2026-04-06, and at this time there is no evidence that this vulnerability has been exploited in the wild. The vulnerability was patched in Open XDMoD 11.0.3 on 2026-05-12. As a workaround, apply the patch manually.

OpenXDMoD is an open framework for collecting and analyzing HPC metrics. Starting in version 9.5.0 and prior to version 11.0.3, an attacker can remotely execute arbitrary system commands on the web server hosting Open XDMoD with the privileges of the web server process. This could allow an attacker to read or modify application data, alter system configuration, or disrupt service availability. All deployments of Open XDMoD versions 9.5.0 through 11.0.2 (inclusive) are impacted. This issue was reported privately on 2026-04-06, and at this time there is no evidence that this vulnerability has been exploited in the wild. OpenXDMoD is an open framework for collecting and analyzing HPC metrics. Prior to version 11.0.3, a flaw in Open XDMoD's access control logic allows an attacker to submit a crafted HTTPS POST request that sets a session variable used for authorization decisions. If an installation of Open XDMoD includes the optional Job Performance (SUPReMM) module, an attacker could bypass intended data access restrictions and view other users' compute job efficiency metrics. All deployments of Open XDMoD prior to version 11.0.3 that contain the optional Job Performance (SUPReMM) module are impacted. This issue was reported privately on 2026-04-06, and at this time there is no evidence that this vulnerability has been exploited in the wild. The vulnerability was patched in Open XDMoD 11.0.3 on 2026-05-12. As a workaround, apply the patch manually.

  • Apr 24, 2026ExactMetrics – Google Analytics Dashboard for: Missing AuthorizationCVE-2026-5488 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The ExactMetrics – Google Analytics Dashboard for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in versions up to and including 9.1.2. This is due to missing capability checks in the get_ads_access_token() and reset_experience() AJAX handlers. While the mi-admin-nonce is localized on all admin pages (including profile.php which subscribers can access), and while other similar AJAX endpoints in the same class properly check for the exactmetrics_save_settings capability, these two endpoints only verify the nonce. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to retrieve valid Google Ads access tokens and reset Google Ads integration settings.

  • Apr 23, 2026ExactMetrics – Google Analytics Dashboard for WordPress (Website Stats Plugin): Unauthorized arbitrary plugin installation and activationCVE-2026-5464 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The ExactMetrics – Google Analytics Dashboard for WordPress (Website Stats Plugin) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized arbitrary plugin installation and activation in all versions up to, and including, 9.1.2. This is due to the reports page exposing the 'onboarding_key' transient to any user with the 'exactmetrics_view_dashboard' capability. This key is the sole authorization gate for the '/wp-json/exactmetrics/v1/onboarding/connect-url' REST endpoint, which returns a one-time hash (OTH) token. This OTH token is then the only credential checked by the 'exactmetrics_connect_process' AJAX endpoint — which has no capability check, no nonce verification, and accepts an arbitrary plugin ZIP URL via the file parameter for installation and activation. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Editor-level access and above granted the report viewing permission, to install and activate arbitrary plugins from attacker-controlled URLs, leading to Remote Code Execution.

  • Mar 11, 2026ExactMetrics – Google Analytics Dashboard for: Improper Privilege ManagementCVE-2026-1993 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The ExactMetrics – Google Analytics Dashboard for WordPress plugin is vulnerable to Improper Privilege Management in versions 7.1.0 through 9.0.2. This is due to the `update_settings()` function accepting arbitrary plugin setting names without a whitelist of allowed settings. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with the `exactmetrics_save_settings` capability to modify any plugin setting, including the `save_settings` option that controls which user roles have access to plugin functionality. The admin intended to delegate configuration access to a trusted user, not enable that user to delegate access to everyone. By setting `save_settings` to include `subscriber`, an attacker can grant plugin administrative access to all subscribers on the site.

  • Mar 11, 2026ExactMetrics – Google Analytics Dashboard for: Insecure Direct Object ReferenceCVE-2026-1992 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The ExactMetrics – Google Analytics Dashboard for WordPress plugin is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in versions 8.6.0 through 9.0.2. This is due to the `store_settings()` method in the `ExactMetrics_Onboarding` class accepting a user-supplied `triggered_by` parameter that is used instead of the current user's ID to check permissions. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with the `exactmetrics_save_settings` capability to bypass the `install_plugins` capability check by specifying an administrator's user ID in the `triggered_by` parameter, allowing them to install arbitrary plugins and achieve Remote Code Execution. This vulnerability only affects sites on which administrator has given other user types the permission to view reports and can only be exploited by users of that type.

  • Nov 25, 2025VictoriaMetrics is a scalable solution for monitoring and managing time series data.CVE-2025-65942 · Other software · VictoriaMetrics · reported by GitHubLow 2.7

VictoriaMetrics is a scalable solution for monitoring and managing time series data. In versions from 1.0.0 to before 1.110.23, from 1.111.0 to before 1.122.8, and from 1.123.0 to before 1.129.1, affected versions are vulnerable to DoS attacks because the snappy decoder ignored VictoriaMetrics request size limits allowing malformed blocks to trigger excessive memory use. This could lead to OOM errors and service instability. The fix enforces block-size checks based on MaxRequest limits. This issue has been patched in versions 1.110.23, 1.122.8, and 1.129.1.

  • Nov 12, 2025The Datadog Agent collects events and metrics from hosts and sends them to Datadog.CVE-2025-61667 · Other software · DataDog · reported by GitHubHigh 7

The Datadog Agent collects events and metrics from hosts and sends them to Datadog. A vulnerability within the Datadog Linux Host Agent versions 7.65.0 through 7.70.2 exists due to insufficient permissions being set on the `opt/datadog-agent/python-scripts/__pycache__` directory during installation. Code in this directory is only run by the Agent during Agent install/upgrades. This could allow an attacker with local access to modify files in this directory, which would then subsequently be run when the Agent is upgraded, resulting in local privilege escalation. This issue requires local access to the host and a valid low privilege account to be vulnerable. Note that this vulnerability only impacts the Linux Host Agent. Other variations of the Agent including the container, kubernetes, windows host and other agents are not impacted. Version 7.71.0 contains a patch for the issue.
