Intermesh Group-Office 3.3.0 before 3.5.5 contains an unauthenticated path traversal vulnerability in compress.php that allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files by manipulating the 'file' parameter. Attackers can send GET requests to /compress.php with '../' sequences in the 'file' parameter, which is appended to the cache path and passed to readfile(), to read files such as /etc/passwd. Exploitation evidence was first observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2023-10-21.

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211: drain PS delivery work during station teardown Removing an AP or mesh statCVE-2026-98706 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211: drain PS delivery work during station teardown Removing an AP or mesh station can notify the driver and wake TXQs after the station has already been removed from the driver, and can update num_sta_ps and the power-save queues after station cleanup has purged them. sta_deliver_ps_frames() tests sta->dead only before it starts delivery. A worker that passes that test can be delayed while teardown sets sta->dead and removes the station from the driver; when it resumes it still runs the full delivery. The existing cancel_work_sync() sits near the end of __cleanup_single_sta(), after the final driver state transition and after PS accounting and queue purging, so it drains the worker only once the state it has to protect has already changed. Before commit d34ba2168a3c ("mac80211: don't delay station destruction") cleanup was deferred through the same ordered workqueue as the delivery work, which kept the two ordered. Cancel the work after setting sta->dead and before moving the driver state, and move the existing cancellation to the start of __cleanup_single_sta(). The first drain closes the driver-l

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211: account proxy paths against the mesh path limit Proxy-path churn can driveCVE-2026-98705 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211: account proxy paths against the mesh path limit Proxy-path churn can drive the interface path counter negative and let later mesh path additions exceed MESH_MAX_MPATHS. mesh_path_free_rcu() decrements the interface mpaths counter for entries from both the mesh and proxy path tables, but mpp_path_add() never reserves a slot in that counter. Removing or expiring a proxy path therefore returns a slot that was never charged. mesh_path_add() uses the same counter to enforce MESH_MAX_MPATHS, so once it falls below the number of installed paths the limit no longer holds. Reserve the shared quota before allocating a proxy path and release it on every unsuccessful addition. Mesh and proxy paths now share one 1024-entry budget, so mpp_path_add() can return -ENOSPC at that limit.

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211: release mesh path quota on failed additions Repeated failed or duplicate mCVE-2026-98701 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211: release mesh path quota on failed additions Repeated failed or duplicate mesh path additions can exhaust MESH_MAX_MPATHS while the path table holds fewer paths, which stops new paths to reachable destinations from being created. mesh_path_add() reserves a slot before allocating and inserting a path. If allocation fails, the function returns without releasing the slot. If the rhashtable insertion reports an error or an existing destination, the function discards its candidate but retains the reservation. No new path is installed in any of these cases. Release the reservation whenever the candidate is not installed.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211: fix mesh fast xmit path deletion UAF mesh_fast_tx_cache() stores raw mesh_path pointers. Path deletion flushes the cache and then frees the path with kfree_rcu(), but a lookup that already holds the path can insert a new cache entry after the flush. The cache then points at freed memory. Set MESH_PATH_DELETED before flushing, and skip inserting a cache entry if the path or MPP path is already deleted. Check this under the cache walk lock so it is ordered with the flush. Use WRITE_ONCE() for the deletion flag updates because the cache check reads flags without taking state_lock.

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: mgmt: Dequeue pending mesh_send_sync entries on cancel In send_cancel(), pendinCVE-2026-98632 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: mgmt: Dequeue pending mesh_send_sync entries on cancel In send_cancel(), pending mesh_tx objects are removed from the hdev->mesh_pending list and freed via mesh_send_complete(). However, if a mesh transmission was already queued onto hdev->cmd_sync_work_list via mesh_next(), the queued entry retains a raw pointer to mesh_tx. When hci_cmd_sync_work later processes the entry, it attempts to execute mesh_send_sync and its destroy callback mesh_send_start_complete using the already freed mesh_tx pointer, leading to a use-after-free. Fix this by invoking hci_cmd_sync_dequeue() for mesh_send_sync on the target mesh_tx before completing it. If the entry is found and dequeued, its destroy callback will complete and free the object; otherwise, mesh_send_complete() is called directly. Additionally, ensure the transmission queue advances after cancellation or errors. In mesh_send_start_complete(), call mesh_next() on error unless err is -ECANCELED, because hci_cmd_sync_dequeue() holds hdev->cmd_sync_work_lock and calling mesh_next() synchronously would deadlock. Instead, advance the queue in send_cancel()

Oct 12, 2026The Bluetooth Mesh Access layer delayable-message machinery in subsys/bluetooth/mesh/delayable_msg.c manages a static pool of CONFIG_BT_MESH_ACCESS_DELAYABLE_MSCVE-2026-19937 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 5.7
The Bluetooth Mesh Access layer delayable-message machinery in subsys/bluetooth/mesh/delayable_msg.c manages a static pool of CONFIG_BT_MESH_ACCESS_DELAYABLE_MSG_COUNT message contexts (default 4) threaded onto a free_ctx or busy_ctx list. release_delayable_msg_ctx() returned a context to free_ctx only when sys_slist_find_and_remove() found it on busy_ctx. The chunk-exhaustion error path in bt_mesh_delayable_msg_manage() releases a context that was already popped off free_ctx but not yet inserted on busy_ctx, so the context was appended to neither list and was permanently lost from the pool. Because bt_mesh_delayable_msg_init() runs only once from bt_mesh_init(), and node reset/suspend only drain busy_ctx, the loss survives unprovision, re-provision and suspend/resume — it is cleared only by a reboot. The error path is reached when the chunk pool (CONFIG_BT_MESH_ACCESS_DELAYABLE_MSG_CHUNK_COUNT, default 40 chunks) is short of the chunks a new delayed message needs and the oldest pending message cannot be flushed because bt_mesh_access_send() returns -EBUSY or -ENOBUFS (all segmented-TX contexts busy, or advertising/segment buffers exhausted). Oct 12, 2026The Bluetooth Mesh Access-layer delayable message queue in subsys/bluetooth/mesh/delayable_msg.c shares three intrusive lists (busy_ctx, free_ctx, free_chunks) CVE-2026-19936 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 4.8
The Bluetooth Mesh Access-layer delayable message queue in subsys/bluetooth/mesh/delayable_msg.c shares three intrusive lists (busy_ctx, free_ctx, free_chunks) and one k_work_delayable between two cooperative threads with no synchronization: bt_mesh_delayable_msg_manage() runs on the Bluetooth host RX thread, while delayable_msg_handler() runs on the system workqueue. Both block while the lists are in an intermediate state — the enqueuer in bt_rand(), both in bt_mesh_access_send() — which lets the other context observe torn state. delayable_msg_handler() used the result of sys_slist_get() on busy_ctx without a NULL check, and allocate_delayable_msg_ctx() tested sys_slist_is_empty() and then assumed a separate sys_slist_get() would succeed. Because CONFIG_BT_MESH_ACCESS_DELAYABLE_MSG and CONFIG_BT_MESH_ACCESS_DELAYABLE_MSG_CTX_ENABLED default to y, every model response to a received mesh message is parked on this queue, so the enqueuer runs as a direct consequence of inbound traffic. A peer that can get access-layer messages accepted by a model (it must hold the NetKey and a bound AppKey, so a legitimate or compromised network member) controls the arrival rate, the size of the elic

Oct 7, 2026The Bluetooth Mesh On-Demand Private Proxy solicitation handler in subsys/bluetooth/mesh/solicitation.c copies a received Solicitation PDU into a fixed 17-byte CVE-2026-15894 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgHigh 8.8
The Bluetooth Mesh On-Demand Private Proxy solicitation handler in subsys/bluetooth/mesh/solicitation.c copies a received Solicitation PDU into a fixed 17-byte stack buffer without bounding the source length. In sol_pdu_decrypt(), out is allocated as NET_BUF_SIMPLE(17) and then filled with net_buf_simple_add_mem(out, in->data, in->len); net_buf_simple_add() guards its tailroom only with __ASSERT_NO_MSG, which is compiled out in production builds, so when in->len > 17 the underlying memcpy writes attacker-controlled bytes past the 17-byte stack buffer. The copy occurs before any decryption or authentication, so no key material is required to trigger it. The oversized length arises because the mesh scan callback in subsys/bluetooth/mesh/adv.c calls net_buf_simple_restore() before dispatching to bt_mesh_sol_recv(), leaving buf->len covering the entire remaining advertising payload rather than just the Solicitation Service Data. After the parser locates the Service Data AD and consumes the Identification Type byte, the remaining buf->len is the 17-octet Network PDU plus any trailing advertising bytes, and prior to this fix there was no maximum-length check (only a minimum). In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: MGMT: free the mesh send cancel command when it is cancelled mesh_send_cancel() queues the pending command with a NULL destroy callback, so it is only freed if send_cancel() runs. A cancelled entry is leaked, as _hci_cmd_sync_cancel_entry() does not release entry->data when there is no destroy callback, and hci_cmd_sync_clear() cancels every pending entry when the controller is unregistered. Nothing else reclaims it either: mgmt_pending_new() does not put the command on hdev->mgmt_pending. The leak also pins the socket reference taken by mgmt_pending_new(), so the mgmt socket is never released. Free the command from a destroy callback.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: batman-adv: bla: fix freeing of claims on meshif deletion When the mesh interface is getting deleted, then batadv_bla_del_backbone_claims() (via batadv_bla_purge_backbone_gw()) could make sure that all claims gets removed. But this function is only executed when bat_priv->bla.claim_hash is not NULL. And since batadv_bla_free() is always setting it to NULL before it is (indirectly) called, it was never actually executed. But the batadv_bla_purge_claims() -> batadv_handle_unclaim() is at the moment too fragile because the BLA code is not handling the rehashing in batadv_bla_update_orig_address(). The stored backbone address doesn't have to be the one actually used for the hash bucket selection during the initial adding of the backbone. The batadv_handle_unclaim() can therefore fail to find the respective backbone for the unclaim and then stop the deletion. But the actual backbone_gw object is not needed for the unclaim because all relevant information is always provided by the caller. And the check for the existence of the backbone_gw doesn't provide any additional security check for the deletion of a claim.

Kuma is a modern Envoy-based service mesh that can run on every cloud across both Kubernetes and VMs. Prior to 2.7.26, 2.9.16, 2.11.14, 2.12.11, and 2.13.7, Universal mode kuma-dp connections to an HTTPS control plane disable TLS peer verification when --ca-cert-file is not supplied and KUMA_CONTROL_PLANE_CA_CERT is unset. The dataplane authentication token is sent over the unverified connection, allowing an on-path attacker to intercept the token, impersonate the control plane, inject a forged bootstrap configuration, and take over the proxy. Standard Kubernetes installations created by kumactl install control-plane or the official Helm chart are unaffected because the mutating admission webhook injects KUMA_CONTROL_PLANE_CA_CERT into each sidecar. This issue is fixed in versions 2.7.26, 2.9.16, 2.11.14, 2.12.11, and 2.13.7.

Sep 15, 2026Kuma is a modern Envoy-based service mesh that can run on every cloud across both Kubernetes and VMs.CVE-2026-50166 · Other software · kumahq · reported by GitHubMedium 5.5
Kuma is a modern Envoy-based service mesh that can run on every cloud across both Kubernetes and VMs. Prior to 2.7.26, 2.9.16, 2.11.14, 2.12.11, and 2.13.7, a kumactl profile manually configured for an HTTPS control plane without --ca-cert-file disables TLS peer verification and sends API tokens over the unverified connection. An attacker on the network path can intercept user or administrator API tokens and act against the control plane as the compromised user. The default local profile is unaffected because it uses plain HTTP. This issue is fixed in versions 2.7.26, 2.9.16, 2.11.14, 2.12.11, and 2.13.7.

Consul and Consul Enterprise are vulnerable to an authorization bypass in the Connect service mesh that may allow a service to reach a destination it is not authorized to access. When building Envoy RBAC rules to enforce Connect intentions, Consul did not correctly escape certain characters in service names, namespaces, and partitions, causing the generated authorization rules to match more broadly than intended. This vulnerability (CVE-2026-88021) is fixed in Consul 2.0.4 and Consul Enterprise 1.21.18, 1.22.12 and 2.0.4.

Sep 4, 2026nebula-mesh is a self-hosted control plane for Slack Nebula mesh VPN.CVE-2026-63464 · Other software · forgekeep · reported by GitHubHigh 7.7
nebula-mesh is a self-hosted control plane for Slack Nebula mesh VPN. From version 0.6.0 to before version 0.7.2, non-admin operators (role user) can set allow_private: true on their own managed webhook subscription (POST/PATCH /api/v1/webhook-subscriptions). No admin check exists on this field. At delivery time, allow_private switches the dispatcher to an unguarded HTTP client, bypassing the private/loopback/link-local SSRF guard — letting a low-privilege operator make the server request internal addresses. This issue has been patched in version 0.7.2.

Sep 4, 2026nebula-mesh is a self-hosted control plane for Slack Nebula mesh VPN.CVE-2026-61699 · Other software · forgekeep · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1
nebula-mesh is a self-hosted control plane for Slack Nebula mesh VPN. Prior to version 0.7.1, revocation is the only in-band mechanism that isolates a compromised/offboarded host from a Nebula mesh. Because the blocklist never reaches any peer's config.yml, a Blocked host retains full overlay reachability to every peer under its CA (and internal services on the mesh) for up to 30d (agent) / 365d (mobile). An attacker who exfiltrates host.key+host.crt can run stock slackhq/nebula directly, ignore the agent's 403/410 poll responses, and stay connected after the operator revokes the host. Operator-visible state (UI shows blocked, audit log records it) is misleading. This issue has been patched in version 0.7.1.

Sep 4, 2026nebula-mesh is a self-hosted control plane for Slack Nebula mesh VPN.CVE-2026-55513 · Other software · forgekeep · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4
nebula-mesh is a self-hosted control plane for Slack Nebula mesh VPN. From version 0.3.0 to before version 0.5.0, the nebula-mgmt Web UI host-creation path ignores both the server-wide enrollment_token_ttl security setting and per-network network_config.enrollment_token_ttl overrides. API host creation and token-regeneration paths use the configured TTL resolver, but POST /ui/hosts hardcodes now.Add(24 * time.Hour) for newly minted agent enrollment tokens. In deployments that intentionally reduce enrollment-token lifetime, any authenticated operator who can create a host through the Web UI can still mint a bearer enrollment token valid for about 24 hours. This issue has been patched in version 0.5.0.

Sep 4, 2026nebula-mesh is a self-hosted control plane for Slack Nebula mesh VPN.CVE-2026-55512 · Other software · forgekeep · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
nebula-mesh is a self-hosted control plane for Slack Nebula mesh VPN. From version 0.2.0 to before version 0.5.0, when OIDC is enabled, GET /ui/oidc/login is reachable without authentication and is registered outside the Web UI rate-limited auth routes. Every request creates a fresh random OIDC state value and stores it in an in-memory map for 10m. Expired states are swept lazily, but there is no rate limit or maximum live-state cap on the allocation path. An unauthenticated remote client can therefore grow OIDC.states for the full state TTL, bounded by request throughput rather than by configured auth rate limits. This issue has been patched in version 0.5.0.

Sep 4, 2026nebula-mesh is a self-hosted control plane for Slack Nebula mesh VPN.CVE-2026-53604 · Other software · forgekeep · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
nebula-mesh is a self-hosted control plane for Slack Nebula mesh VPN. Prior to version 0.3.8, the web handler renderMobileBundle passes the real *pki.CAResolver directly into mobilebundle.Build. Inside Build, resolver.LoadByID decrypts the CA's ed25519 private key into a *pki.CAManager, but Build never calls CAManager.Wipe() on any return path. As a result, when a mobile-bundle request goes through the web UI and Build returns — especially on error (missing network, invalid prefix, DB error, signing failure) — the plaintext CA private key remains on the Go heap, unwiped, until garbage collection. An attacker able to read process memory (core dump, swap, memory-scraping) can recover the CA signing key, which would allow minting arbitrary host certificates for the mesh. The API handler already does this correctly: it loads the CAManager, defer caMgr.Wipe(), and wraps it in caManagerResolver. Only the web path is affected. This issue has been patched in version 0.3.8.

Sep 4, 2026nebula-mesh is a self-hosted control plane for Slack Nebula mesh VPN.CVE-2026-53603 · Other software · forgekeep · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
nebula-mesh is a self-hosted control plane for Slack Nebula mesh VPN. Prior to version 0.3.8, Operator session tokens are stored in plaintext in the operator_sessions table (the token column is the PRIMARY KEY). The session token is a 32-byte random hex value sent directly in a cookie and valid for 24 hours. Anyone who can read the database (backup, snapshot, file copy, or SQL-level disclosure) obtains every active session token and can hijack operator sessions directly, with no further authentication. This issue has been patched in version 0.3.8.

Sep 4, 2026nebula-mesh is a self-hosted control plane for Slack Nebula mesh VPN.CVE-2026-53602 · Other software · forgekeep · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9
nebula-mesh is a self-hosted control plane for Slack Nebula mesh VPN. Prior to version 0.3.7, two related authorization gaps let a host that should no longer be trusted obtain a fresh, valid Nebula certificate, because nebula-mgmt does not re-evaluate revocation/authorization state at certificate issuance time — only at poll time. Firstly, the blocklist is not enforced at sign / re-enroll time. internal/api/enroll.go:128 calls caMgr.Sign(...) without consulting the blocklist. The blocklist is only checked in the poll path (internal/api/updates.go:57, fingerprintInBlocklist). The blocklist is keyed by certificate fingerprint (internal/store/sqlite.go), so a re-enrollment produces a new fingerprint that is not in the blocklist. Secondly, renewal does not re-validate operator / CA status. Auto-renewal at poll time (internal/api/updates.go:285-319, signHostCert) reads host.Name, host.Groups, host.NebulaIPs from the DB and re-signs without checking whether the owning operator is still active or the CA still valid. DisableOperator (internal/store/sqlite_operators.go) revokes sessions and API keys but does not retire the operator's CAs, and pki/signer.go checks only CA cert time-expiry, n
