  • Oct 29, 2026Mapster WP Maps: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-107743 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Mapster WP Maps plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to, and including, 2.0.5. This is due to the /wp-json/mapster-wp-maps/save-mapmaker REST route being registered with a permission_callback that unconditionally returns true (no capability check, no nonce), together with the mapster_write_config_to_acf() helper only sanitizing string config values with sanitize_text_field() — which strips HTML tags but leaves quote characters intact — and the mapster_wp_map shortcode renderer in mapster_wordpress_maps_shortcode_display() concatenating the stored loading_background_color value into a single-quoted inline style attribute without esc_attr(). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

  • Oct 25, 2026OpenRemote core (openremote-manager) before 1.31.0 does not perform realm or gateway-descendant authorization on inbound edge gateway events and maps event asseCVE-2026-116186 · Other software · openremote · reported by VulnCheckLow 2.3

OpenRemote core (openremote-manager) before 1.31.0 does not perform realm or gateway-descendant authorization on inbound edge gateway events and maps event asset IDs only through the reversible GatewayConnector.mapAssetId transform. An attacker controlling a registered gateway can craft pre-image IDs in AttributeEvent or DELETE AssetEvent messages to overwrite attributes on, or delete, assets in any realm, breaking tenant isolation.

  • Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: amd_sfh: Validate PCI BAR size before mapping The amd_sfh driver maps PCI BAR 2 usingCVE-2026-98640 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: amd_sfh: Validate PCI BAR size before mapping The amd_sfh driver maps PCI BAR 2 using pcim_iomap_regions() and subsequently accesses MMIO registers at offsets up to 0x10958 (e.g., AMD_P2C_MSG3 at 0x1068C). However, the driver never validates that the BAR size is large enough to cover these accesses. If the driver is bound to a device with a smaller BAR 2, this leads to an out-of-bounds memory access and a page fault during the probe function. • Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Preserve packet pointer class displacement in regsafe() regsafe() maps packet pointerCVE-2026-98627 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Preserve packet pointer class displacement in regsafe() regsafe() maps packet pointer IDs between states and checks that each current register range is a subset of the corresponding explored register range. It does not, however, preserve the displacement between registers that share a packet pointer ID. This is unsound because packet range is shared by ID. A bounds check on one class member updates every member, and a later access can consume the range through another member. Commit 022ac0750883 ("bpf: use reg->var_off instead of reg->off for pointers") folded the fixed pointer offset into r64 and removed the old off equality check, so two individually narrower registers can prune even when their displacement has changed. The explored path can then license an out-of-bounds packet access on the pruned path. Require matching range bases for packet pointers with an ID. Together with the existing ID mapping, this preserves the displacement between members of each packet-pointer class without adding per-ID state. Packet pointers without an ID remain unaffected.

  • Oct 16, 2026Opti-Behavior – Self-Hosted Heatmaps, Session Recordings, Funnels, A/B Testing & Smart Insights: Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-95809 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Opti-Behavior – Self-Hosted Heatmaps, Session Recordings, Funnels, A/B Testing & Smart Insights plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via 'country_name' Location Parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.9.2.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. • Oct 10, 2026ExtUtils::Typemaps::STL::List versions before 1.07 for Perl allocate a 32 GiB array on an empty list.CVE-2026-107794 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eHigh 7.5

ExtUtils::Typemaps::STL::List versions before 1.07 for Perl allocate a 32 GiB array on an empty list. The OUTPUT typemaps call av_extend( av, len-1 ). On an empty list, this undeflows, and av_extend will allocate an array with 2^32 slots, leading to memory exhaustion. ExtUtils::Typemaps::STL::String versions before 1.06 for Perl T_STD_STRING typemap may read the SV length before stringifying the argument. The typemap uses $var = std::string( SvPV_nolen($arg), SvCUR($arg) ) However, evaluation order for C++ arguments is not specified, and some compilers may produce code that evalutes SvCUR($arg) first. When $arg is not a string (for example, an interger, number or a reference) then SvCUR will return an invalid value, and the program may abort or segfault.

  • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Reject key-less BTF for hash maps map_check_btf() allows a key-less BTF (btf_key_typeCVE-2026-98065 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Reject key-less BTF for hash maps map_check_btf() allows a key-less BTF (btf_key_type_id == 0) only for maps that have a ->map_check_btf callback, and leaves the actual decision to that callback. Hash maps used to have no ->map_check_btf, so a key-less BTF was rejected outright. That changed when htab and rhtab gained a ->map_check_btf to register a dtor - htab in commit 1df97a7453ee ("bpf: Register dtor for freeing special fields") and rhtab in commit 6905f8601298 ("bpf: Allow special fields in resizable hashtab"). Neither looks at the key, so a key-less hash map now passes map_check_btf() and gets created. Reading it back through bpffs feeds the key type_id 0 into btf_type_seq_show(); btf_type_by_id() returns the void type, kind_ops[BTF_KIND_UNKN] is NULL, and btf_type_show() dereferences it: RIP: 0010:btf_type_show+0x223/0x2e0 kernel/bpf/btf.c:8232 RSP: 0018:ffffc9000399f868 EFLAGS: 00010206 RAX: dffffc0000000000 RBX: 0000000000000000 RCX: 0000000000000000 RDX: 0000000000000005 RSI: 0000000000000000 RDI: 0000000000000028 RBP: 0000000000000000 R08: 0000000000000001 R09: 0000000000000000 R10: ffffc9000399

  • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sunvdc: unmap LDC cookies when the descriptor send fails __send_request() maps the requestCVE-2026-97952 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sunvdc: unmap LDC cookies when the descriptor send fails __send_request() maps the request's pages into the LDC channel's map table (ldc_map_sg()), fills in the descriptor and marks it VIO_DESC_READY before ringing the doorbell via __vdc_tx_trigger(). When the trigger fails, the error path only prints a message: the descriptor stays READY and the cookies are never unmapped. The mapping is normally released in vdc_end_one() when the peer completes the descriptor - but a descriptor whose doorbell was never sent will never complete, and since dr->prod is not advanced on failure, the reset path (vdc_requeue_inflight(), which walks [cons, prod)) never visits it either. The map table entries are leaked permanently. Since commit a11f6ca9aef9 ("sunvdc: Do not spin in an infinite loop when vio_ldc_send() returns EAGAIN") trigger failures occur in practice under load, so every resulting I/O error also leaks one request's worth of entries from the fixed-size (8192 entries per channel) map table. Because the allocator hands out contiguous ranges, fragmentation makes large multi-segment requests fail first as the table drain

  • Sep 17, 2026MapServer is a system for developing web-based GIS applications.CVE-2026-54355 · Other software · MapServer · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

MapServer is a system for developing web-based GIS applications. From 6.0 until 8.6.4, MapServer's OpenLayers HTML output for SERVICE=WMS&REQUEST=GetMap&FORMAT=application/openlayers reflects an attacker-controlled X-Forwarded-Host value received as HTTP_X_FORWARDED_HOST through msBuildOnlineResource(), processLine(), and the [mapserv_onlineresource] substitution in src/maputil.c and src/maptemplate.c without escaping it for a single-quoted JavaScript string. When the deployment trusts the forwarded header and does not configure a fixed ows_onlineresource or MS_ONLINERESOURCE value, embedded single quotes can escape the generated URL string. An unauthenticated attacker can craft a URL that executes arbitrary JavaScript in the MapServer site origin when opened by a victim, enabling access to sessions or tokens, same-origin data and requests, and actions as the victim. This issue is fixed in version 8.6.4.

  • Sep 17, 2026MapServer is a system for developing web-based GIS applications.CVE-2026-54354 · Other software · MapServer · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

MapServer is a system for developing web-based GIS applications. Prior to 8.6.4, MapServer's PostGIS runtime filter translation in src/mappostgis.cpp and msPostGISLayerTranslateFilter() treats a filteritem as numeric when CONNECTIONTYPE POSTGIS and metadata such as gml_<item>_type=Integer are configured, but it does not verify that attacker-controlled CGI qstring or OGC API Features featureId input is a numeric literal. The unquoted input is concatenated into the generated PostgreSQL/PostGIS predicate, allowing an unauthenticated remote attacker with access to an affected query endpoint to bypass predicates, enumerate unintended records, perform boolean-based or time-based SQL injection, and increase database load. The issue does not by itself establish database modification capabilities. This issue is fixed in version 8.6.4.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pinctrl: generic: free maps on pinctrl_generic_to_map() failure pinctrl_generic_to_map() parses DT configuration and allocates pinctrl maps via pinctrl_utils_reserve_map(). If subsequent steps (such as pinctrl_utils_add_map_mux(), pinctrl_generic_add_group(), pinconf_generic_parse_dt_config(), or pinctrl_utils_add_map_configs()) return an error, *maps may contain partially allocated map entries. Returning the error directly without freeing *maps leaks the allocated mapping memory across all drivers that rely on pinctrl_generic_to_map(). Fix this by calling pinctrl_utils_free_map() and resetting *maps, *num_maps, and *num_reserved_maps in the error path of pinctrl_generic_to_map().

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libceph: validate OSD extent maps before cursor advance net/ceph/osd_client.c:osd_sparse_read() validates that the sparse-read data length matches the summed extent lengths, but it does not validate that each OSD-supplied extent is monotonic and lies inside the original request range. A malformed authenticated OSD reply can advertise a far-forward nonzero extent offset with a matching data length and make the client advance the message-data cursor beyond the request buffer. This reaches the BUG_ON(!*length) assertion in ceph_msg_data_next() from the client receive path. Impact: A malicious or compromised authenticated Ceph OSD peer can crash a kernel Ceph client via a malformed sparse-read reply. Reject sparse extent maps that overflow, move backwards, overlap, or extend outside the original sparse-read request before advancing the cursor. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvme: zero the discard fallback page nvme_setup_discard() always maps sizeof(struct nvme_dsm_range) * NVME_DSM_MAX_RANGES = 4096 bytes as the DSM payload however many ranges the command declares, because some devices ignore the 'Number of Ranges' field - the Fixes: commit records two that read past the declared ranges. A single-range discard fills only the first 16 bytes. Normally the buffer comes from kzalloc() and the other 4080 bytes are zero. When that allocation fails the code falls back to the per-controller ctrl->discard_page, which nvme_init_ctrl() obtains with alloc_page(GFP_KERNEL) and nothing ever zeroes, so those 4080 bytes are whatever the page last held and are handed to the controller. Reaching it requires the kzalloc(GFP_ATOMIC | __GFP_NOWARN) to fail, that is memory pressure; it is not remotely triggerable. Failing the allocation under KMSAN reproduces it, with the leaked tail full of vmemmap struct page pointers. The extent in the report is a partial transfer of the payload, not the whole 4096 bytes; the 16-byte boundary in it is the one declared range: [ 11.991601] BUG: KMSAN: uninit-va

fs_read_glyphs() in the libXfont2 font-server client (src/fc/fserve.c) indexes the per-character encoding[] array using num_chars from the FS_QueryXBitmaps16 reply, but that array was allocated with a size derived from num_extents in the separate FS_QueryXExtents16 reply. The two CARD32 fields are never cross-checked. A malicious or compromised font server can send a small num_extents (e.g. 1) in the extents reply, then a large num_chars (e.g. 100000) in the bitmaps reply. This causes attacker-controlled out-of-bounds heap read and writes.

  • Aug 28, 2026mapfish-print is a component of MapFish for printing templated cartographic maps.CVE-2026-55848 · Other software · mapfish · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6

mapfish-print is a component of MapFish for printing templated cartographic maps. Prior to 3.28.30, 3.30.32, 3.31.24, 3.33.16, and 4.0.5, MapFish Print accepts an attacker-controlled GML layer url in requests to the /api/print3/print endpoint and fetches XML parsed by core/src/main/java/org/mapfish/print/map/geotools/GmlLayer.java without disabling external entities and external DTDs. A remote XML document and DTD can expand a local file entity, and the resulting content can be exposed through the GML parsing and error path. This allows unauthenticated attackers to read files such as operating-system account data, Kubernetes service-account tokens, and certificates. Replacing the file entity target with an internal HTTP endpoint also permits server-side request forgery. This issue is fixed in versions 3.28.30, 3.30.32, 3.31.24, 3.33.16, and 4.0.5.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libbpf: Reject non-exclusive metadata maps in the signed loader The loader verifies map->sha against the metadata hash in its instructions. map->sha is calculated when BPF_OBJ_GET_INFO_BY_FD is called on the frozen map. While the map is frozen, the /signed loader/ must also ensure the map is exclusive, as, without exclusivity (which a hostile host could just omit when loading the loader), another BPF program with map access can mutate the contents afterwards, so the check passes on stale data. With the extra check as part of the signed loader, it now refuses to move on with map->sha validation if the host set it up wrongly.

Prior to version 12.1.3, the display_map parser function in the Leaflet service accepts attacker-controlled HTML in the overlays parameter, and resources/leaflet/jquery.leaflet.js uses the overlay name as a Leaflet layer-control label without escaping it. A wiki user with the edit permission can store malicious wikitext that causes script execution when another user previews or views the affected map.
