Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dmaengine: mmp_pdma: fix wrong sg length in mmp_pdma_prep_slave_sg() In mmp_pdma_prep_slavCVE-2026-98298 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dmaengine: mmp_pdma: fix wrong sg length in mmp_pdma_prep_slave_sg() In mmp_pdma_prep_slave_sg(), for_each_sg() iterates the scatterlist putting each entry into 'sg', but the entry length is read from 'sgl' (the list head) instead of 'sg' (the current entry): for_each_sg(sgl, sg, sg_len, i) { addr = sg_dma_address(sg); avail = sg_dma_len(sgl); /* should be 'sg' */ Consequently 'avail' is always the length of the first entry. For multi-sg lists this causes out-of-bounds reads when a later entry is shorter than the first, and silent data loss when it is longer. Single-sg or uniformly-sized lists happen to mask the issue.

PocketMine-MP 3.x (before 3.27.0) does not implement Minecraft Bedrock protocol encryption, so the server cannot verify that a connecting client possesses the private key corresponding to its login token. An attacker who captures a valid login from another player's session (for example by tricking the player into connecting to an attacker-controlled server) can replay that login to impersonate the victim and pass XBOX Live authentication until the JWT token expires (typically 2-3 days). This affects servers directly reachable over the internet that are not behind a proxy with encryption enabled. Fixed in 4.0.0 and backported to 3.27.0.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dmaengine: mmp_pdma: Fix race condition in mmp_pdma_residue() Add proper locking in mmp_pdma_residue() to prevent use-after-free when accessing descriptor list and descriptor contents. The race occurs when multiple threads call tx_status() while the tasklet on another CPU is freeing completed descriptors: CPU 0 CPU 1 ----- ----- mmp_pdma_tx_status() mmp_pdma_residue() -> NO LOCK held list_for_each_entry(sw, ..) DMA interrupt dma_do_tasklet() -> spin_lock(&desc_lock) list_move(sw->node, ...) spin_unlock(&desc_lock) | dma_pool_free(sw) <- FREED! -> access sw->desc <- UAF! This issue can be reproduced when running dmatest on the same channel with multiple threads (threads_per_chan > 1). Fix by protecting the chain_running list iteration and descriptor access with the chan->desc_lock spinlock.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdkfd: Don't call mmput from MMU notifier callback If the process is exiting, the mmput inside mmu notifier callback from compactd or fork or numa balancing could release the last reference of mm struct to call exit_mmap and free_pgtable, this triggers deadlock with below backtrace. The deadlock will leak kfd process as mmu notifier release is not called and cause VRAM leaking. The fix is to take mm reference mmget_non_zero when adding prange to the deferred list to pair with mmput in deferred list work. If prange split and add into pchild list, the pchild work_item.mm is not used, so remove the mm parameter from svm_range_unmap_split and svm_range_add_child. A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco BroadWorks CommPilot Application Software could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to conduct cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks against a user of the interface. This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input by the web-based management interface of an affected system. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by injecting malicious code into specific pages of the interface. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary script code in the context of the affected interface or access sensitive, browser-based information. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid administrative credentials.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: fix possible UAF when remounting r/o a mmp-protected file system After commit 618f003199c6 ("ext4: fix memory leak in ext4_fill_super"), after the file system is remounted read-only, there is a race where the kmmpd thread can exit, causing sbi->s_mmp_tsk to point at freed memory, which the call to ext4_stop_mmpd() can trip over. Fix this by only allowing kmmpd() to exit when it is stopped via ext4_stop_mmpd(). Bug-Report-Link: <20210629143603.2166962-1-yebin10@huawei.com>

Mar 18, 2024In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: binder: fix race between mmput() and do_exit() Task A calls binder_update_page_range() to CVE-2023-52609 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 4.7
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: binder: fix race between mmput() and do_exit() Task A calls binder_update_page_range() to allocate and insert pages on a remote address space from Task B. For this, Task A pins the remote mm via mmget_not_zero() first. This can race with Task B do_exit() and the final mmput() refcount decrement will come from Task A. Task A | Task B ------------------+------------------ mmget_not_zero() | | do_exit() | exit_mm() | mmput() mmput() | exit_mmap() | remove_vma() | fput() | In this case, the work of ____fput() from Task B is queued up in Task A as TWA_RESUME. So in theory, Task A returns to userspace and the cleanup work gets executed. However, Task A instead sleep, waiting for a reply from Task B that never comes (it's dead). This means the binder_deferred_release() is blocked until an unrelated binder event forces Task A to go back to userspace. All the associated death notifications will also be delayed until then. In order to fix this use mmput_async() that will schedule the work in th

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
