Oct 29, 2026A flaw was found in the HOTP authentication mechanism of the keycloak-services component, which provides identity and access management services.CVE-2026-118030 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 4.2
A flaw was found in the HOTP authentication mechanism of the keycloak-services component, which provides identity and access management services. The issue occurs because the system validates a one-time password and updates its internal counter in two separate steps without proper locking. An attacker with a users password could exploit this timing gap to use a single one-time code to log in multiple times simultaneously.

Oct 29, 2026A flaw was found in the client registration component of Keycloak, an open-source identity and access management solution.CVE-2026-117688 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 5.3
A flaw was found in the client registration component of Keycloak, an open-source identity and access management solution. When a vault provider is used to store sensitive information, an authenticated client owner can use a specially crafted reference to trick the system into revealing secrets. By updating a client secret to point to a vault entry and then requesting the client configuration, the owner can see the secret value in plain text. This could lead to the exposure of sensitive credentials that the user should not be able to access.

Oct 28, 2026In deployments of WSO2 Identity Server configured with a case-insensitive user store and a case-sensitive database for identity data, mismatches in username casCVE-2026-6647 · Other software · WSO2 · reported by ed10eef1-636d-4fbe-9993-6890dfa878f8High 7.4
In deployments of WSO2 Identity Server configured with a case-insensitive user store and a case-sensitive database for identity data, mismatches in username case handling can occur. This inconsistency results in OAuth token revocation operations failing to correctly identify usernames containing mixed-case characters during certain lifecycle events, preventing tokens from being invalidated. A malicious actor can exploit this vulnerability by possessing a valid access or refresh token associated with a mixed-case username. In affected configurations, these tokens may not be revoked when expected. The actor can then leverage these unrevoked tokens, before their expiry, to continue performing actions that should have been restricted, effectively bypassing intended access controls.

Oct 28, 2026identrail is a machine identity security platform for AWS, GitHub/OIDC, and Kubernetes.CVE-2026-59185 · Other software · identrail · reported by GitHubHigh 8.5
identrail is a machine identity security platform for AWS, GitHub/OIDC, and Kubernetes. Prior to 1.0.2, the default-on `POST /v1/workspaces/:workspace_id/projects/:project_id/github/connect/complete` endpoint in `internal/api/router.go` accepts `installation_id` from the request body or `X-GitHub-Installation-ID` header without verifying the installation belongs to the caller's workspace. `CompleteGitHubConnection` in `internal/api/github_connect.go` rigorously binds `state` to the caller's tenant, workspace, and project, but checks only that the installation ID is positive before persisting it as the caller's connection. `ListInstallationRepositories` in `internal/connectors/github/repositories.go` invokes token creation through `internal/connectors/github/app.go` and `POST /app/installations/{installationId}/access_tokens`, using the application's JWT. An authenticated tenant who starts a legitimate connection can supply another customer's non-secret installation ID to read the victim organization's private repository inventory, content, and metadata or drive posture scans, provided identrail's GitHub App is installed there. Oct 28, 2026When pretix is used as the identity provider in a Single-Sign-On (SSO) setup for customer accounts, the system did not properly validate the `response_type` reqCVE-2026-101274 · Other software · reported by 655498c3-6ec5-4f0b-aea6-853b334d05a6Medium 6.9
When pretix is used as the identity provider in a Single-Sign-On (SSO) setup for customer accounts, the system did not properly validate the `response_type` requested in an authorization request against the configured grant type of the SSO client. This means that if an SSO client was configured to only allow the `code` response type, which requires knowledge of the client secret to use and would wrongfully send a response type like `id_token`, it would receive back a valid token. Exploiting this requires the attacker to run JavaScript on the page specified by `redirect_uri`, which must be from a list specified in the client configuration.

Oct 23, 2026Heimdall is a cloud native Identity Aware Proxy and Access Control Decision service.CVE-2026-57210 · Other software · dadrus · reported by GitHubHigh 7
Heimdall is a cloud native Identity Aware Proxy and Access Control Decision service. Prior to version 0.17.17, when the trusted_proxies option is configured, heimdall extracts client IP addresses from the Forwarded (for= parameter) and X-Forwarded-For headers and exposes them as Request.ClientIPAddresses to the rule pipeline. However, extracted values are not validated to be syntactically valid IP addresses. Arbitrary strings, malformed IP literals, and RFC 7239 unknown values and obfuscated identifiers are accepted without further checks. In addition, the Forwarded header parser splits on , and ; without accounting for RFC 7239 quoted strings, which can cause a single quoted value to be parsed as multiple entries, with fragments — including trailing quote characters — treated as independent addresses. This issue has been patched in version 0.17.17.

Oct 23, 2026Heimdall is a cloud native Identity Aware Proxy and Access Control Decision service.CVE-2026-57209 · Other software · dadrus · reported by GitHubHigh 7
Heimdall is a cloud native Identity Aware Proxy and Access Control Decision service. Prior to version 0.17.17, when Heimdall operates in proxy mode, it constructs the Forwarded HTTP header after executing the matched rule pipeline by inserting the incoming request's Host header value directly into the header string without sanitizing commas or semicolons. This allows an attacker to inject additional parameters into the Forwarded header, potentially spoofing IP addresses for upstream services. This issue has been patched in version 0.17.17.

Oct 21, 2026The Legacy Pipe receiver protocol (handshake / sendPipeData) uses a hardcoded SUPER_USER (root) identity when executing data loading and deletion operations.CVE-2026-59229 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.org
The Legacy Pipe receiver protocol (handshake / sendPipeData) uses a hardcoded SUPER_USER (root) identity when executing data loading and deletion operations. A user with only SYSTEM-level privileges (such as USE_PIPE or MAINTAIN) who does NOT have WRITE_DATA or DELETE_DATA permissions on target databases can send specially crafted PipeData messages through the Legacy Pipe API, resulting in data loading/deletion operations executed as root — effectively bypassing IoTDB's permission model entirely. The authentication endpoint of WSO2 Identity Server fails to provide a consistent system response when a username does not exist in the system, allowing attackers to differentiate between valid and invalid usernames. This difference in responses can be leveraged to enumerate existing user accounts. Successful exploitation enables an attacker to discover valid usernames within the system, significantly increasing the risk of subsequent attacks such as brute force attacks on user credentials, social engineering attacks, and information leakage. The discovered usernames can be used to craft targeted phishing emails or other social engineering campaigns.

Oct 19, 2026The SCIM endpoint does not sufficiently validate authorization for federated users when performing operations against the local user store.CVE-2025-10149 · Other software · WSO2 · reported by ed10eef1-636d-4fbe-9993-6890dfa878f8High 8.2
The SCIM endpoint does not sufficiently validate authorization for federated users when performing operations against the local user store. This occurs when a local and a federated user share the same username, allowing a federated user to perform actions intended for a local user, including arbitrary operations. A malicious actor authenticated as a federated user may perform arbitrary operations on local user accounts via the SCIM 2.0 or SCIM 1.1 endpoints when local and federated users share the same username. This could lead to user account takeover. Deployments that do not support user self-registration are considered medium severity.

Oct 15, 2026In authd before 0.7.1, the user identity matching in UpdateUser (internal/users/manager.go) resolves an incoming login by the broker-scoped provider ID, but falCVE-2026-102631 · Other software · Canonical · reported by security@ubuntu.comMedium 5.9
In authd before 0.7.1, the user identity matching in UpdateUser (internal/users/manager.go) resolves an incoming login by the broker-scoped provider ID, but falls back to matching the username when the provider ID does not belong to any known user, and does not reject a conflicting non-empty provider ID. If an identity provider reassigns an email address, which authd uses as the username, to a new account, the new account inherits the previous user's local UID and home directory on its next login. This allows the new user to access and modify files belonging to the previous user, including credentials such as SSH keys and cloud API tokens, and silently rebinds the local account record to the new identity. As a mitigation, administrators should lock or delete the previous user's local authd account when the corresponding IdP account is removed.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories.
