  • Oct 28, 2026MIME::Field::ParamVal versions before 5.521 for Perl do not flag a duplicate boundary parameter whose name contains a nested comment.CVE-2026-116272 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441e

MIME::Field::ParamVal versions before 5.521 for Perl do not flag a duplicate boundary parameter whose name contains a nested comment. A parameter written boundary((c))="A" or boundary(\))="A" is stored under that literal name rather than as boundary. A second boundary parameter is then not reported as a duplicate, and MIME::Parser splits the message on it. Readers that skip comments as RFC 5322 allows take the first boundary instead. A remote sender can hide an attachment from a filter that relies on ambiguous_content() while the recipient's mail client shows it.

  • Oct 28, 2026MIME::Head versions from 5.518 before 5.521 for Perl decode a partly encoded multipart boundary without flagging the parse as ambiguous.CVE-2026-116266 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441e

MIME::Head versions from 5.518 before 5.521 for Perl decode a partly encoded multipart boundary without flagging the parse as ambiguous. The multipart_boundary() method decodes RFC 2047 encoded words anywhere in the boundary, but the ambiguity check only fires when the whole value is one encoded word. A boundary such as abc=?us-ascii?Q?def?= is used as abcdef, and ambiguous_content() returns false. Encoded words are not allowed in parameters, so other mail readers split the message on the literal value. A remote sender can hide an attachment from a filter that relies on ambiguous_content() while the recipient's mail client shows it.

  • Oct 28, 2026MIME::Field::ParamVal versions before 5.521 for Perl do not flag an ambiguous multipart boundary written as RFC 2231 continuations.CVE-2026-116265 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441e

MIME::Field::ParamVal versions before 5.521 for Perl do not flag an ambiguous multipart boundary written as RFC 2231 continuations. The boundary ambiguity checks look only at a plain boundary= parameter, and a boundary split into RFC 2231 sections (boundary*0=, boundary*1= and so on) is joined after they have run. A repeated section number is concatenated rather than reported as a duplicate. From version 5.518, an encoded word or trailing whitespace in such a boundary also goes unflagged, although multipart_boundary() decodes or strips it. A remote sender can make MIME::Parser split a message on a different boundary than other mail readers, hiding an attachment from a filter that relies on ambiguous_content() while the recipient's mail client shows it.

  • Oct 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe: skip eviction of a BO with no resource xe_evict_flags() switches on tbo->resource-CVE-2026-99209 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe: skip eviction of a BO with no resource xe_evict_flags() switches on tbo->resource->mem_type to choose an eviction placement. An xe BO can reach eviction with no ttm.resource, e.g. an imported dma-buf BO whose resource was freed during teardown while its attachment is still live: the exporter then invalidates it via xe_dma_buf_move_notify() -> xe_bo_evict(), and the switch dereferences a NULL resource and faults. A BO with no resource has nothing placed or mapped, so there is nothing to evict. Return an empty placement (num_placement = 0), mirroring the handling already used for non-xe scatter-gather BOs just above; ttm_bo_validate() then takes the pipeline-gutting path and returns 0. Without the fix the xe_dma_buf@xe_test_dmabuf_move_notify_no_resource dynamic live selftest will fail with below stack. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/kvm: Don't consume async #PF flags on a kernel #PF in NMI context An async #PF "page not present" event arrives through the #PF vector, and its reason sits in the per-CPU apf_reason.flags until __kvm_handle_async_pf() reads and clears it. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Fix crash in print_graph_function_event() tracing_set_tracer() assigns the flags of the newly selected tracer with: tr->current_trace_flags = t->flags ? : t->tracer->flags; If the new tracer defines neither static flags nor default flags, like hwlat, irqsoff or wakeup, add_tracer() has no per instance flags copy for it, and both operands are NULL, so tr->current_trace_flags ends up being NULL as well. The ring buffer is not cleared when switching tracers: it is reset inside tracer_init(), after current_trace_flags was already assigned. If the buffer still holds function_graph entries of the previous tracer, printing one of them dereferences the NULL pointer. • Oct 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: initialize FileSystemControlFlags in FS_CONTROL_INFORMATION smb2_get_info_filesysteCVE-2026-99114 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: initialize FileSystemControlFlags in FS_CONTROL_INFORMATION smb2_get_info_filesystem() reports 48 bytes for FS_CONTROL_INFORMATION, that is the whole of struct smb2_fs_control_info, but never assigns FileSystemControlFlags. Those four bytes go to the client as they are found in the response buffer. The buffer is zeroed on allocation, so a standalone request leaks nothing. A compound request can leak: the offset of the next response is advanced by the length pinned for the previous one, so a reply that was written into the buffer and then dropped in favour of the short error response of smb2_set_err_rsp() stays there, and the next reply is laid over it with only the header cleared. ksmbd does not implement quota tracking, so report no control flags.

  • Oct 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ntfs: move attribute payload before shrinking its record ntfs_new_attr_flags() resizes theCVE-2026-99101 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ntfs: move attribute payload before shrinking its record ntfs_new_attr_flags() resizes the non-resident attribute record before moving its name and mapping pairs to their shorter-header offsets when compression or sparse state is cleared. Shrinking the record first moves the following attribute over the tail of the old record. The subsequent memmove() therefore copies bytes from that following attribute instead of the old mapping pairs. Re-enabling compression on an empty file persists those bytes as a malformed mapping pairs array, which ntfsck reports as a missing or invalid run length. Move the payload before shrinking the record, while retaining the existing resize-before-move ordering when growing it.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: do not warn on route notification size race fib6_info_hw_flags_set() sizes the skb with rt6_nlmsg_size() and later fills it with rt6_fill_node(). With nexthop compatibility mode enabled, a concurrent replacement can grow the group between these independent snapshots. rt6_fill_node() can then legitimately return -EMSGSIZE, so the warning does not prove a sizing bug. Remove the warning. The existing error path still frees the skb and reports the error to listeners.

  • Oct 23, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfs: stop exchanging reflink flags when exchanging mappings When an exchange covers both fCVE-2026-98975 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfs: stop exchanging reflink flags when exchanging mappings When an exchange covers both files from offset 0 to i_disk_size, xmi_can_exchange_reflink_flags() assumes every mapping moved and hands the reflink flag over to the other file. That assumption is wrong. A file can still own shared blocks past i_disk_size, e.g. after EXCHANGE_RANGE_TO_EOF sets a smaller size without unmapping anything. The flag is cleared anyway, and the next write to such a block happens in place instead of CoW, corrupting the other file that shares it. Commit a23eca88448e ("xfs: fix exchange-range reflink flag clearing issue with INO1_WRITTEN") fixed one instance of this. Rather than add another special case, stop moving the flags. xfs_exchmaps_ensure_reflink() already sets the flag on both inodes before the exchange, so both just keep it. Nothing sets CLEAR_INO{1,2}_REFLINK anymore. Intents logged by older kernels may still carry them; recovery already masks them off, so they stay in the log format mask and are ignored. XFS_IOC_SWAPEXT has the same problem: it moves the reflink flag from one inode to the other along with the ex

  • Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipvs: filter some flags received in the backup server While the IPVS SYNC protocol is not CVE-2026-98794 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipvs: filter some flags received in the backup server While the IPVS SYNC protocol is not secure by design we can still protect the backup server from messages that can wreak havoc. This commit addresses problems from received connection flags or their combinations. We now drop messages as follows: 1. the NO_CPORT+TEMPLATE combination allows lookups for normal connections to hit template which can break in many ways. While the master does not sync connections with NO_CPORT flag, i.e. before they are established, we still accept NO_CPORT without TEMPLATE. 2. ONE_PACKET: it is not sent by master, so we do not expect it in backup. Before now it was ignored by IP_VS_CONN_F_BACKUP_MASK for protocol v1 while protocol v0 created connections that are not hashed and dropped immediately. Better to apply the IP_VS_CONN_F_BACKUP_MASK also to the flags from v0 messages for consistency with v1.

  • Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: binder: fix is_failure flag for superseded transaction cleanup When a TF_UPDATE_TXN transaCVE-2026-98778 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: binder: fix is_failure flag for superseded transaction cleanup When a TF_UPDATE_TXN transaction supersedes a pending async transaction, binder_release_entire_buffer() is called with is_failure=false. Since the superseded transaction was never delivered, binder_apply_fd_fixups() was never called and no fds were installed in the target process. With is_failure=false, the BINDER_TYPE_FDA cleanup handler interprets stale buffer contents as installed fd numbers and passes them to binder_deferred_fd_close(), closing unrelated file descriptors. Pass is_failure=true since the transaction was never delivered to the target, matching the semantics of all other undelivered-transaction cleanup paths.

  • Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched_ext: Derive SCX_RQ_IN_WAKEUP from the core enqueue flags schedule_deferred_locked() CVE-2026-98463 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched_ext: Derive SCX_RQ_IN_WAKEUP from the core enqueue flags schedule_deferred_locked() skips scheduling a deferred action while SCX_RQ_IN_WAKEUP is set and relies on the task_woken_scx() call that follows a wakeup enqueue to run it. enqueue_task_scx() sets the flag from the merged enqueue flags, which include the flags stashed for a remote activation. move_remote_task_to_local_dsq() thus sets SCX_RQ_IN_WAKEUP on the destination rq when the moved task was woken up, although no task_woken_scx() follows that activation. An IMMED insert into a busy destination requests a local reenqueue during that enqueue. The request gets linked but not scheduled and stays pending until an unrelated wakeup or preemption on that CPU runs the deferred actions. The IMMED task sits behind the running task in the meantime. If nothing runs them before the scheduler is disabled, the request outlives the scheduler and points into its freed per-cpu area, which the next scheduler dereferences from run_deferred(). Test the core enqueue flags for the wakeup bit. Only the core's wakeup path is followed by task_woken_scx().

Text::CSV_XS versions before 1.65 for Perl drop the end of a record and its line ending when a UTF-8 flagged field precedes invalid UTF-8 bytes in print. When a record contains a UTF-8 flagged field, print holds back trailing bytes that are not valid UTF-8 at each buffer flush, so that a character split across two flushes can be completed. Nothing writes the held-back bytes after the record's final flush. A record whose last field ends in such a byte loses it, any closing quote and the line ending, while print still returns true. combine is not affected. The next record is written onto the same line, or, when the last field was quoted, the missing closing quote makes a reader take every following record as part of that field.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: lock the socket in sock_gettstamp() sk->sk_flags must only be changed while holding the socket lock, because sock_set_flag() and sock_reset_flag() use non atomic operations (__set_bit() and __clear_bit()). sock_gettstamp() is one of the last places where a bit of sk->sk_flags is changed from a syscall without owning the socket lock, through sock_enable_timestamp(sk, SOCK_TIMESTAMP). sk_set_memalloc() and sk_clear_memalloc() also change sk->sk_flags without the socket lock, but their callers (nbd, iscsi_tcp, nvme-tcp, sunrpc, wireguard) need a careful audit, this will be addressed in a separate patch. Jungwoo Lee and Wongi Lee reported an UDP socket use-after-free caused by this bug: a SIOCGSTAMPNS_NEW ioctl racing with bind() can cancel the SOCK_RCU_FREE bit that udp_lib_get_port() just set, because both threads perform a read-modify-write on the same word. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ata: libahci: clear PxCLBU and PxFBU for AHCI_HFLAG_32BIT_ONLY A user reported that commit 105c42566a55 ("ata: ahci: force 32-bit DMA for JMicron JMB582/JMB585") made the JMicron JMB585 unusable on his board. The failure is seen as soon as the ahci driver is probed, and booting with iommu=off does not solve the problem. Looking at the AHCI specification, PxCLBU and PxFBU are both read only '0' for HBAs that do not support 64-bit addressing. For HBAs that do support 64-bit addressing, the registers are read write, with a reset value that is Implementation Specific. When using the AHCI_HFLAG_32BIT_ONLY flag, the HBA does support 64-bit addressing, and a 32-bit DMA mask is set by simply clearing HOST_CAP_64. Thus, in this case, we need to explicitly clear the registers to 0.

In the WSS4J streaming (StAX) code, a signature reference using the WS-Security STR-Transform leaves an internal "inside signed content" flag permanently set. The WS-SecurityPolicy enforcer uses that flag to decide whether an element needs checking, so it stops evaluating SignedParts and SignedElements for the rest of the message. A policy requiring the SOAP Body to be signed is then satisfied even when the Body carries no signature, removing the protection against XML Signature Wrapping. Signature verification itself is unaffected. The DOM code is not affected.  Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.0.2 or 3.0.6 or 2.4.4 which fix this issue.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/rds: clear cp_flags bits individually in rds_conn_path_reset() rds_conn_path_reset() wipes the whole flag word with a plain cp->cp_flags = 0 store. Every other accessor of that word uses atomic bitops, and some of them can run concurrently with the reset: RDS_LL_SEND_FULL is set from rds_send_xmit() and cleared from the transport completion paths, neither of which holds anything that excludes the shutdown worker. A plain store racing an atomic read-modify-write on the same word is a data race, and whichever side loses has its update silently discarded. Clear the two bits the reset is actually responsible for instead. RDS_IN_XMIT and RDS_RECV_REFILL need no store at all here: they belong to the caller, rds_conn_shutdown(), which waits for both to be clear before calling the transport shutdown and this reset. This also gives every bit in cp_flags a single well-defined writer discipline, which the following patches rely on when they turn RDS_IN_XMIT and RDS_RECV_REFILL into bit locks held across the teardown: a blanket store mid-teardown would destroy lock ownership that an atomic clear preserves. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Require MEM_PERCPU for percpu kptr stores map_kptr_match_type() treats perm_flags as the set of register type flags that a kptr field permits. Adding MEM_PERCPU to that set for BPF_KPTR_PERCPU does not require the source register to carry it, however. The subset test consequently accepts both a plain bpf_obj_new() allocation and a referenced kernel pointer into a __percpu_kptr map field. Loads from the field are always marked MEM_PERCPU. Consumers then treat the stored value as the cookie returned by bpf_percpu_obj_new(): per-CPU pointer helpers relocate it, and map teardown selects the per-CPU free path. A plain allocation can therefore provide an arbitrary kernel read/write, while a kernel pointer can be relocated into an invalid address or sent through a missing destructor. Require the source MEM_PERCPU flag to match the destination field kind. This preserves valid bpf_percpu_obj_new() stores and rejects both the program-BTF and kernel-BTF variants.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: virtio_ring: fix stale descriptor flags after a failed packed add In a packed ring the AVAIL and USED bits sit in the descriptor itself, so writing them makes that descriptor available. Those bit combinations flip meaning on every round of the ring, tracked by a wrap counter, so invalidating or validating a descriptor means inverting both bits. Commit 1ce9e6055fa0 ("virtio_ring: introduce packed ring support") has virtqueue_add_packed() make every descriptor of a chain available as it maps the chain, and write the head last. The device consumes the ring in order and stops at a head that is not available yet, so it never reaches the rest. When vring_map_one_sg() fails partway, unmap_release unmaps the segments and restores avail_used_flags, but the descriptors it wrote to in the ring stay marked with AVAIL and USED bits. The head is now the only entry that keeps the device from consuming these stale entries. For example, the ring would look like this now. Z - pre-previous command A - previous command B - aborted command C - current command [A1 DONE] [A2 DONE] <C1 EMPTY> [B2] [B3] [Z1 DONE] When the

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfs: fix exchange-range reflink flag clearing issue with INO1_WRITTEN When exchanging two full-file ranges, xmi_can_exchange_reflink_flags() can move the reflink inode flag from the file that currently has it to the other file, as long as exactly one side is marked. This assumes that the file contents, and therefore all shared extents, are exchanged. That assumption is not true when XFS_EXCHMAPS_INO1_WRITTEN is set. xfs_exchmaps_can_skip_mapping() can skip hole and unwritten mappings from file1, so an exchange can complete without moving every mapping that the earlier flag-swap decision accounted for. In that case the post-operation cleanup can clear the reflink flag from an inode that still owns shared written extents. Later writes then take the non-reflink write path and may update blocks that should still have been protected by CoW, which shows up as data corruption between reflink-related files. Fix this by disabling the reflink flag exchange whenever XFS_EXCHMAPS_INO1_WRITTEN is requested. The contents exchange can still proceed; the conservative outcome is that both inodes keep the reflink flag. The

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: blk-cgroup: fix leaks and online flag on radix_tree_insert failure When radix_tree_insert() fails in blkg_create(), the error path has two issues: 1. blkg->online is set to true unconditionally, even when the blkg was never fully inserted. Move the assignment inside the success block. 2. The error path calls blkg_put() without first calling percpu_ref_kill(). Because the refcount is still in percpu mode, percpu_ref_put() only does this_cpu_sub() without checking for zero, so blkg_release() is never triggered. This permanently leaks the blkg memory, its percpu iostat, policy data, the parent blkg reference, and the cgroup css reference — the latter preventing the cgroup from ever being destroyed. Fix by replacing blkg_put() with percpu_ref_kill(), matching the pattern used in blkg_destroy().

rustls-webpki through 0.103.12 (and 0.104.0-alpha releases before 0.104.0-alpha.7) contains a reachable panic in bit_string_flags() in src/der.rs. The input guard fails to reject a named-bit BIT STRING whose content is exactly [0x00] (zero padding bits and no data bytes), so raw_bits.len() - 1 underflows on the empty slice and the subsequent index operation panics (subtract-with-overflow in debug, index-out-of-bounds in release). The condition is reachable through the public API BorrowedCertRevocationList::from_der() when a CRL contains an issuingDistributionPoint extension with such an onlySomeReasons value. Exploitation requires an application that explicitly opts in to CRL revocation checking by passing RevocationOptions to verify_for_usage() and that parses CRL bytes obtained from a source the attacker can influence; the default rustls configuration, which does not use RevocationOptions, is unaffected. A crafted CRL causes a denial of service via the panic. Fixed in 0.103.13 and 0.104.0-alpha.7.

But the generic code allocates a zeroed memslot for every change and never copies old->arch, so after a KVM_MR_FLAGS_ONLY update, e.g. toggling KVM_MEM_LOG_DIRTY_PAGES for live migration, the active memslot has arch.flags == 0. With both flags clear, fault_supports_huge_mapping() falls through to the alignment check on the HVA range alone, which no longer verifies that the GPA and HVA have the same offset within a PMD. A memslot that was marked KVM_MEM_HUGEPAGE_INCAPABLE because of a GPA/HVA offset mismatch can then be mapped with PMD entries on read faults, and since kvm_map_page() aligns the gfn and the pfn independently, the guest ends up accessing the wrong host pages, exactly the "d -> f, e -> g" case described in the comment above the check. Affected versions of MISP incorrectly filter dashboard templates that are restricted to a specific permission flag. DashboardsController::listTemplates() allowed a template when either:  - its restrict_to_permission_flag matched one of the current user’s permission flags, or  - restrict_to_permission_flag equaled integer 0 However, restrict_to_permission_flag is a varchar. MySQL therefore performed numeric coercion when comparing the column against integer 0. Strings such as perm_site_admin convert numerically to zero, making expressions such as perm_site_admin = 0 evaluate true and causing the “unrestricted” branch to match permission-restricted templates as well. Version affected: ≤2.5.45

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
