  • Oct 13, 2026SFTPGo is an open source, event-driven file transfer solution.CVE-2026-77375 · Other software · drakkan · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

SFTPGo is an open source, event-driven file transfer solution. Prior to 2.7.5, an authenticated SSH user can send a malformed protocol message while opening a channel, causing an unhandled error that terminates the server process and affects all connected users until restart. No confidentiality or integrity impact has been identified. This issue is fixed in 2.7.5.

  • Oct 13, 2026SFTPGo is an open source, event-driven file transfer solution.CVE-2026-103028 · Other software · drakkan · reported by GitHubMedium 4.3

SFTPGo is an open source, event-driven file transfer solution. From 2.5.0 until 2.7.6, an authenticated user with copy permission can copy a source file denied by denied_patterns or outside allowed_patterns to an allowed destination name because file-pattern filters are evaluated only on the destination. The user can then read the denied file contents. Recursive directory copies can reproduce restricted contents under an allowed path, and the hide policy is bypassed because files that appear missing to stat and directory listings can still be copied. Home-directory boundaries, virtual-folder layout, per-directory permissions, access to other accounts, and administrative authorization remain enforced. This issue is fixed in 2.7.6.

  • Aug 20, 2026SFTPGo is an open source, event-driven file transfer solution.CVE-2026-49245 · Other software · drakkan · reported by GitHubLow 3.7

SFTPGo is an open source, event-driven file transfer solution. From 2.2.0 until 2.7.3, the inline query parameter on browsable-share file downloads and authenticated user-file downloads suppresses Content-Disposition: attachment, allowing an attacker-controlled HTML file stored in a share or home directory to be served as text/html in the SFTPGo web origin. An attacker who can place the file can send a crafted link to a victim, and opening that link executes the stored content in the victim's browser context. Exploitation requires social engineering and suitable share or shared-folder access, while HttpOnly session cookies limit direct cookie theft. This issue is fixed in version 2.7.3.

  • Aug 20, 2026SFTPGo is an open source, event-driven file transfer solution.CVE-2026-49244 · Other software · drakkan · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9

SFTPGo is an open source, event-driven file transfer solution. From 2.2.0 until 2.7.3, the public web-client partial ZIP download endpoint for a browsable share validates client-supplied files entries with a raw byte-prefix comparison rather than a directory-boundary-aware check. An unauthenticated requester who can reach a public share can select a canonical path outside the shared directory when the target path begins with the shared directory's name, such as a sibling path that shares the same prefix. The endpoint then includes the out-of-scope file in the generated download, disclosing its contents. This issue is fixed in version 2.7.3.

NitroShare Desktop through 0.3.4 contains a path traversal vulnerability in its LAN file transfer server that allows unauthenticated attackers on the same network to write arbitrary files by sending a crafted filename containing directory traversal sequences in the JSON item header name field. • Jun 15, 2026An issue was discovered in Rakuten Send Anywhere (File Transfer) for Android (com.estmob.android.sendanywhere) 23.2.9.CVE-2025-68713 · Other software · reported by MITREHigh 8

An issue was discovered in Rakuten Send Anywhere (File Transfer) for Android (com.estmob.android.sendanywhere) 23.2.9. The vulnerability allows untrusted applications (with no permissions) to force arbitrary file downloads into the app's scoped storage. The resulting files appear in the application's trusted Received interface. These conditions establish a vector for arbitrary code execution if the payload is an APK file, or a denial-of-service condition through resource exhaustion from oversized transfers.

  • Mar 13, 2026SFTPGo is an open source, event-driven file transfer solution.CVE-2026-30915 · Other software · drakkan · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

SFTPGo is an open source, event-driven file transfer solution. SFTPGo versions before v2.7.1 contain an input validation issue in the handling of dynamic group paths, for example, home directories or key prefixes. When a group is configured with a dynamic home directory or key prefix using placeholders like %username%, the value replacing the placeholder is not strictly sanitized against relative path components. Consequently, if a user is created with a specially crafted username the resulting path may resolve to a parent directory instead of the intended sub-directory. This issue is fixed in version v2.7.1

Besides a set of default commands some optional commands can be activated, one of them being `rsync`. It is disabled in the default configuration and it is limited to the local filesystem, it does not work with cloud/remote storage backends. Due to missing sanitization of the client provided `rsync` command, an authenticated remote user can use some options of the rsync command to read or write files with the permissions of the SFTPGo server process. This issue was fixed in version v2.6.5 by checking the client provided arguments. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.

  • Nov 29, 2024sftpgo is a full-featured and highly configurable event-driven file transfer solution.CVE-2024-52801 · Other software · drakkan · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

sftpgo is a full-featured and highly configurable event-driven file transfer solution. Server protocols: SFTP, HTTP/S, FTP/S, WebDAV. The OpenID Connect implementation allows authenticated users to brute force session cookies and thereby gain access to other users' data, since the cookies are generated predictably using the xid library and are therefore unique but not cryptographically secure. This issue was fixed in version v2.6.4, where cookies are opaque and cryptographically secure strings. All users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.

  • Nov 18, 2024A vulnerability in system file transfer functions of Cisco SD-WAN vManage Software could allow an authenticated, local attacker to gain escalated privilegeCVE-2020-26074 · Network & remote access · Cisco · reported by psirt@cisco.comHigh 7.8

A vulnerability in system file transfer functions of Cisco SD-WAN vManage Software could allow an authenticated, local attacker to gain escalated privileges on the underlying operating system. The vulnerability is due to improper validation of path input to the system file transfer functions. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending requests that contain specially crafted path variables to the vulnerable system. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to overwrite arbitrary files, allowing the attacker to modify the system in such a way that could allow the attacker to gain escalated privileges.Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability.

A flaw was found in Python, specifically in the FTP (File Transfer Protocol) client library in PASV (passive) mode. The issue is how the FTP client trusts the host from the PASV response by default. This flaw allows an attacker to set up a malicious FTP server that can trick FTP clients into connecting back to a given IP address and port. This vulnerability could lead to FTP client scanning ports, which otherwise would not have been possible.
