This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract staff personally identifiable information — including full name, email address, phone number, gender, and timezone — as well as administrator-authored internal notes for every published event, all serialized into the JSON response because the raw providers array is never stripped before output.

The WP Data Access – App Builder for Tables, Forms, Dashboards, Charts & Maps plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 5.5.88 via the 'rel_tab' parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract every row and column of the underlying database table backing any anonymously published app, including WordPress user password hashes, email addresses, and password-reset keys from wp_users. Exploitation requires that an administrator has published at least one app with its REST API authorization set to 'anonymous', which is the standard configuration for publicly embedded apps.

  • Oct 31, 2026Seraphinite Accelerator: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-90960 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The Seraphinite Accelerator plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 2.29.24 via the WP_Object_Cache::_getFilePath. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract complete WordPress user records — including plaintext user_login, user_email, hashed user_pass, and user_activation_key — from predictable gzip-serialized cache files at wp-content/cache/seraphinite-accelerator/oc/g/users/g/<USER_ID>.dat.gz. This vulnerability is only exploitable when the plugin's Object Cache feature is enabled, and requires the attacker to first trigger caching of the target user record (e.g., via an unauthenticated REST API request) before retrieving the resulting cache file.

  • Oct 31, 2026Mail logging & Catcher: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-120040 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The Mail logging & Catcher plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 2.2.0 via the 'message' parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to extract valid administrator password-reset keys from stored email logs and complete the WordPress password-reset flow to escalate privileges to administrator. Exploitation requires an administrator to have previously configured the plugin's default_view_role setting to a capability held by low-privileged users such as 'read'; on an untouched install the default of 'manage_options' restricts log access to administrators only.

The PDF Invoices & Packing Slips for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 5.16.5 via the 'invoice_number (via document filename)' parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract another customer's complete invoice PDF — including billing identity, shipping address, private order notes, line items, prices, dates, order ID, and invoice number — delivered directly to the attacker's email as an order confirmation attachment. Exploitation requires the plugin's yearly invoice number reset option to be enabled, and the attacker's guest-checkout order must trigger a processing email within 60 seconds of a victim order that shares the same yearly-reset invoice number.

The Advanced Custom Fields: Extended plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 0.9.2.7 via the process. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract sensitive data including the WordPress password hash of any user by injecting a {get_user} template tag that is resolved and written as a publicly readable term name. Exploitation requires that an administrator has configured a public [acfe_form] shortcode page with a Term action using a save.name field mapping — a supported and documented configuration.

  • Oct 30, 2026Export and Import Users and Customers: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-104368 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The Export and Import Users and Customers plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 2.7.5 via the plugin's own export and re-import workflow. The vulnerability exists because of a CSV escape-character mismatch between the exporter and the importer: class-csvwriter.php writes cells with fputcsv() using PHP's default backslash (\) escape character, while class-csvreader.php parses the same file with fgetcsv() using a double-quote (") as the escape character. As a result, a crafted value stored in a Subscriber's Biographical Info field — containing a backslash-quote sequence followed by a newline — is written as a single quoted CSV field but parsed back as two separate rows on import. The injected second row is then processed by hf_create_customer() as a new user record whose user_login, user_pass, user_email, and role are entirely attacker-controlled, allowing the creation of an arbitrary Administrator account. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access and above to escalate their privileges to Administrator.

The MW WP Form plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 5.1.7 via the 'post_id' parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract personally identifiable information from other users' form inquiry records, including submitted names, email addresses, and free-text message bodies, by enumerating sequential post IDs. The Everest Forms – Contact Form, Payment Form, Quiz, Survey & Custom Form Builder with AI plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 3.6.2 via the process. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract arbitrary WordPress post meta values — including license keys, API tokens, SMTP credentials, and Stripe or AWS secrets stored on any post type — via form submission notification emails or stored entries. The submission nonce is publicly rendered in every embedded form and can additionally be minted anonymously via the nopriv everest_forms_get_form_update_nonce action, meaning no account or prior authentication of any kind is required to complete the exploit.

  • Oct 28, 2026Related Posts for: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-109980 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The Related Posts for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 3.0.0 via the 'rp4wp_view' parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to extract the titles and publication dates of all private posts site-wide, normally restricted to Editor-level users and above. The page's existing authorization check only verifies edit_posts and edit_post on a parent post the attacker owns, both of which any Contributor satisfies, leaving no effective gate against reading other authors' private posts.

  • Oct 28, 2026Related Posts for: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-109979 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The Related Posts for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in versions up to, and including, 3.0.0 via the 'rp4wp_create_link' parameter of the hidden 'rp4wp_link_related' admin page. The handle_create_link() handler verifies the nonce and that the current user can edit the parent post, but never checks that the attacker-supplied child post ID is one the user is allowed to read; LinkRepository::insert() stores the arbitrary child ID without validation, and ManageLinks::render() later calls LinkRepository::get_children() in its no-extra-args fast path, which falls through to array_map('get_post', $child_ids) — bypassing read_private_posts/read_post capability checks — and then echoes esc_html($child->post_title) in the parent's editor meta box. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to read the titles of arbitrary non-public posts (drafts, pending, private, future, trashed) authored by higher-privileged users by linking those post IDs to a draft they own and then reading the resulting meta box.

  • Oct 28, 2026Animated Text Block: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-116613 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The Animated Text Block plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in versions up to, and including, 1.2.6 via the 'animated-text' shortcode. This is due to the atb_shortcode_handler() function fetching an arbitrary post by attacker-supplied ID and, in the 'publish' branch, calling displayContent() with no capability check and no validation that the post's post_type is the plugin's own CPT or is otherwise viewable (is_post_type_viewable()). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to read the rendered block content of any published post, including posts of non-public custom post types (public=false, show_in_rest=false) that WordPress would otherwise hide from direct URLs and the REST API.

This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract the external MySQL host, database name, username, and plaintext password stored in woof_settings[woof_stat][server_options] from the inline woof_tm_data script object on any public frontend filter page. This is only exploitable when an administrator has enabled the Statistics extension, saved external MySQL connection credentials, and enabled Turbo Mode — all supported, documented plugin configurations.

  • Oct 16, 2026Image Hub – Free Images from Unsplash, Pixabay, Pexels, Openverse & Giphy: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-109191 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The Image Hub – Free Images from Unsplash, Pixabay, Pexels, Openverse & Giphy plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.0 via the 'image_hub_api_keys_* (6 options)' parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to extract the plaintext API credentials for six third-party services — Giphy, Openverse (client ID and secret), Pexels, Pixabay, and Unsplash — emitted verbatim into every admin page's HTML via wp_localize_script. The leaked page HTML also contains a valid image_hub_nonce AJAX nonce, which — combined with the absence of any capability check in the image_hub_update_settings AJAX handler — allows the same Subscriber-level attacker to overwrite all six stored API credential options via update_option().

The Modula Image Gallery – Photo Grid & Video Gallery plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 3.0.11 via the 'id (post ID in /wp-json/wp/v2/modula-gallery/{id}) or none for collection route' parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract the plaintext Password Protect password and username for every published gallery from the modulaSettings REST field. The plugin's own /wp-json/modula/v2/gallery/{id}/settings endpoint correctly redacts the password for unauthenticated callers via redact_settings_for_public(), but no equivalent redaction is applied on the core /wp-json/wp/v2/modula-gallery path exposed by show_in_rest=true CPT registration.

The SpeedyCache – Cache, Optimization, Performance plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.2 via the 'comment_author_*, comment_author_email_*' parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract the full name and email address of returning commenters pre-filled into comment form input fields and persisted as the site-wide cached page by any unauthenticated attacker requesting the same public URL. The read-side handler in advanced-cache.php correctly skips cached delivery for requests carrying comment_author_* cookies, but this check is absent on the write path, meaning the cache poisoning is invisible to the victim commenter yet fully exploitable by any unauthenticated attacker with no cookies.

  • Oct 10, 2026Order Export & Order Import for WooCommerce: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-94375 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The Order Export & Order Import for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 2.7.8 via the get_file_path. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract download exported order CSV files containing customer PII — including names, billing and shipping addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, and order contents — directly over HTTP with no authentication. This is exploitable whenever the .htaccess and index.php guard files are absent from wp-content/webtoffee_export/, which can occur after any uninstall/reinstall cycle, migration, backup restore, or staging sync, since the export directory persists but its guard files do not; export filenames follow a fully deterministic second-precision timestamp pattern, making them brute-forceable across any suspected export window.
