  • Oct 28, 2026HTTP::Body versions before 1.23_01 for Perl leave the temporary file of an incomplete multipart upload on disk.CVE-2026-116132 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441e

HTTP::Body versions before 1.23_01 for Perl leave the temporary file of an incomplete multipart upload on disk. The multipart parser creates a temporary file as soon as a file part starts, but adds it to the upload list only when the part completes. Uploads are only ever deleted from that list, by the cleanup option or by the caller, so a body that ends inside a file part leaves its temporary file where nothing can find it. A remote attacker can fill the temporary directory by repeating such requests, leaving one file behind for each.

  • Oct 24, 2026When a post is published, Postiz treats a media path that is not a web address as a file on the server's disk, but it does not check that the file lies inside tCVE-2026-115932 · Other software · GitroomHQ · reported by 4cdc9741-f887-419a-a2fd-acbbd2729276Critical 9.6

When a post is published, Postiz treats a media path that is not a web address as a file on the server's disk, but it does not check that the file lies inside the upload directory. A registered user can store a crafted media path with a post, get it past the checks that normally restrict it, and have the publishing worker read an arbitrary file and send it as an attachment to a Discord server the user controls. The same unconfined reads can be reached through two further routes. One tells the caller whether a file exists and can exhaust the backend's memory, the other delivers the file the same way as the main route. Self-registration is open by default, so the attacker needs no existing account.

  • Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: block: Fix zones_cond out-of-bounds write on zone report blk_revalidate_disk_zones()CVE-2026-98635 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: block: Fix zones_cond out-of-bounds write on zone report blk_revalidate_disk_zones() sizes the zones_cond array from the disk capacity and zone size, but the index used by blk_revalidate_zone_cond() comes from the device-driven report_zones() walk and is never checked against the array size. A device reporting more zones than fit the array makes blk_zone_set_cond() write out of bounds. One way to reach this is a zone count exceeding 32 bits: both blk_revalidate_zone_args.nr_zones and struct zoned_disk_info.nr_zones are unsigned int, so a disk advertising more than UINT_MAX zones (e.g. 2^32 + 1024 zones of one 512-byte logical block) gets its zone count truncated to a small value, undersizing the array while the report walk keeps counting upward. Check the index against the array size before storing the zone condition, and refuse to revalidate when the zone count does not fit 32 bits.

  • Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: sd_zbc: Reject disks with too many zones sd_zbc_read_zones() computes the number of CVE-2026-98634 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: sd_zbc: Reject disks with too many zones sd_zbc_read_zones() computes the number of zones with 64-bit arithmetic and stores the result in the unsigned int nr_zones field of struct zoned_disk_info, silently truncating counts that exceed 32 bits. The truncated count is later used to size per-zone resources, while the device may still report more zones than fit. Moreover, sd_zbc_report_zones() counts the reported zones with a signed int zone_idx, which overflows past INT_MAX. Reject devices reporting more than INT_MAX zones at scan time; such a device is not realistic for any medium that exists today, and accepting it produces inconsistent zone bookkeeping.

  • Oct 14, 2026VeraCrypt provides disk encryption with strong security based on TrueCrypt.CVE-2026-77572 · Other software · veracrypt · reported by GitHubLow 3.3

VeraCrypt provides disk encryption with strong security based on TrueCrypt. In 1.26.29 and earlier, selected metadata IOCTL handlers in the VeraCrypt Windows veracrypt.sys driver accept caller-supplied object-manager and device paths broader than supported VeraCrypt workflows require. A local user who can open the intentionally user-accessible \.\VeraCrypt device can use TC_IOCTL_GET_RESOLVED_SYMLINK, TC_IOCTL_GET_DRIVE_PARTITION_INFO, VC_IOCTL_GET_DRIVE_GEOMETRY_EX, or the legacy TC_IOCTL_GET_DRIVE_GEOMETRY handler to make src/Driver/Ntdriver.c perform kernel-context symbolic-link or disk-device lookups outside the intended path scope. This can disclose low-sensitivity drive-letter targets, partition information, disk geometry, GPT or MBR state, and limited object-manager path metadata.

  • Oct 12, 2026Improper Handling of Highly Compressed Data (Data Amplification) vulnerability in hexpm hex allows an untrusted package mirror to exhaust the memory or disk spaCVE-2026-96618 · Other software · hexpm · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbLow 2.1

Improper Handling of Highly Compressed Data (Data Amplification) vulnerability in hexpm hex allows an untrusted package mirror to exhaust the memory or disk space of the machine running mix deps.get, mix deps.update, mix hex.package fetch or mix hex.docs fetch. Hex treats a mirror configured with HEX_MIRROR_URL, HEX_MIRROR or mirror_url as untrusted: it doesn't send credentials to it, and it checks registry signatures and package checksums that the mirror can't forge. Several response paths consume memory or disk in proportion to what the mirror sends before any of those checks run. Hex.HTTP.request/5 reads the whole response body into memory and decompresses it with :zlib.gunzip/1 whenever the response's Content-Encoding contains gzip, with no limit on the compressed or decompressed size. Hex doesn't ask for compressed responses, so the server decides whether this step runs. It applies to registry, package, docs and API responses. Package tarballs have no download size limit. Hex 2.5.1 holds the whole tarball in memory and writes it to the cache, and the development branch streams it to a temporary file; the 16 MiB tarball limit is checked only when the file is unpacked. It is torn down with destroy_workqueue() only on the init error path; msb_remove() never destroys it. msb_stop() merely flushes the queue, and neither msb_data_clear() nor put_disk() free it. As a result every card insert/remove cycle leaks the workqueue and its kworker, exhausting kernel memory over repeated cycles. • Sep 21, 2026BleachBit cleans files to free disk space and to maintain privacy.CVE-2026-55567 · Other software · bleachbit · reported by GitHubHigh 7.8

BleachBit cleans files to free disk space and to maintain privacy. Prior to 6.0.1, privileged Windows cleaning does not lock and validate a target's parent directory before deletion. A local unprivileged user can replace that directory with a Windows junction and use a native symlink to redirect the elevated deletion to an attacker-selected file. The arbitrary privileged file deletion can be combined with Windows Installer behavior to obtain local SYSTEM privileges. This issue is fixed in version 6.0.1.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
