Oct 27, 2026Docker Desktop before version 4.97.0 could write third-party API keys and OAuth access tokens in cleartext to local application logs and diagnostics bundles dueCVE-2026-114409 · Other software · Docker · reported by security@docker.comMedium 5.7
Docker Desktop before version 4.97.0 could write third-party API keys and OAuth access tokens in cleartext to local application logs and diagnostics bundles due to insufficient IPC payload redaction. An attacker with read access to these files could obtain the credentials. These OAuth tokens are not Docker account tokens. Docker Desktop 4.94.0 and 4.95.0 addressed the known logging paths, but logs containing credentials can remain after upgrading. Docker Desktop 4.97.0 fixes the issue and includes cleanup of existing host logs and crash dumps.

Oct 23, 2026Uni-CLI gives people and agents one command interface for websites, browsers, desktop applications, local tools, and MCP.CVE-2026-58497 · Other software · olo-dot-io · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6
Uni-CLI gives people and agents one command interface for websites, browsers, desktop applications, local tools, and MCP. Prior to version 0.225.2, Uni-CLI exposed the legacy JSON-RPC-over-HTTP MCP transport on loopback without validating browser Origin headers before routing requests. A malicious web page could send a CORS simple POST request, such as text/plain, to the local /mcp endpoint and deliver a JSON-RPC body to the dispatcher. If the user had started the local MCP HTTP transport, that page could drive tools/call requests against the user's local Uni-CLI server. The Streamable HTTP transport already enforced this browser-to-localhost boundary. The legacy stateless HTTP path did not, so the two HTTP transports had drifted. This issue is about the browser-to-localhost boundary; it does not change Uni-CLI's local-code-execution trust model. This issue has been patched in version 0.225.2.

Oct 23, 2026XDG Desktop Portal is a desktop integration portal.CVE-2026-55889 · Other software · flatpak · reported by GitHubHigh 8.3
XDG Desktop Portal is a desktop integration portal. Prior to version 1.22.1, malicious sandboxed applications can use the FileTransfer.RetrieveFiles method to redirect drag-and-drop and copy-paste data targeted at other applications to itself. Some portals generate tokens which provide access to resources. The sharing of the token transfers access to the resource and is supposed to happen out of band. The tokens were generated with g_random_int or g_uuid_string_random, both of which use GLib's GRand based on the Mersenne Twister PRNG which created a stream of reproducible random numbers. By generating enough tokens, the state of the GRand can be recover and with it, the next tokens can be predictedinsufin. This issue has been patched in version 1.22.1.

Oct 23, 2026XDG Desktop Portal is a desktop integration portal.CVE-2026-55888 · Other software · flatpak · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
XDG Desktop Portal is a desktop integration portal. Prior to version 1.22.1, malicious sandboxed applications can use the FileChooser.SaveFiles method to gain arbitrary file access to non-existing files on the host (limited to files the user has access to). The FileChooser.SaveFiles method takes optional filenames which get appended to the selected directory by backends. The backends are supposed to check that the file does not exist yet. The filenames are not validated by the frontend and also not by common backends. This issue has been patched in version 1.22.1.

Oct 22, 2026draw.io Desktop is the official Electron build of draw.io.CVE-2026-114606 · Other software · jgraph · reported by GitHubMedium 5.6
draw.io Desktop is the official Electron build of draw.io. Prior to 31.4.4, draw.io Desktop is vulnerable to arbitrary local-file disclosure through the Electron main process's read-side IPC handlers. The readFile, getFileDrafts, getBkpFile, fileStat, isFileWritable, checkFileExists, and watchFile actions operate on a renderer-chosen filesystem path with no blessed-path (assertWritablePath) authorization. The only gates are validateSender — a URL-prefix origin check — plus, for readFile alone, a content "sniff" and a lexical appBaseDir prefix block. The write-side handlers (saveFile, writeFile, saveDraft, deleteFile) are all protected by assertWritablePath; the read side is not. The result is a read/write authorization asymmetry: any frame executing in the app's file:// origin can read the contents of local files that the same origin is explicitly forbidden to write. This issue is fixed in version 31.4.4.

Oct 21, 2026Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.CVE-2026-114121 · Other software · electron · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4
Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to versions 42.11.3, 43.7.0, 44.3.0, and 45.0.0-alpha.5, requests to open external protocol URLs could be attributed to a document other than the one that initiated them, causing the requestingUrl passed to session.setPermissionRequestHandler to identify trusted content for a launch requested by untrusted content. An application that grants openExternal based on the requesting origin and allows untrusted content to open or navigate windows could therefore allow that content to launch an OS-registered external application. Oct 21, 2026Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.CVE-2026-113800 · Other software · electron · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4
Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to versions 42.11.3, 43.7.0, 44.3.0, and 45.0.0-alpha.5, hid and usb permission checks made from an iframe caused setPermissionCheckHandler to receive the top-level frame's origin and details instead of the requesting frame's. An application that delegated hid or usb to a cross-origin untrusted iframe and allowed device access with origin-based logic could therefore grant that embedded frame access intended for the top-level page. Oct 21, 2026Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.CVE-2026-113798 · Other software · electron · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4
Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to versions 42.11.9, 43.7.6, 44.5.0, and 45.0.0-alpha.13, pointerLock permission requests from some cross-origin iframes caused session.setPermissionRequestHandler() to receive the top-level frame's requestingUrl and isMainFrame values instead of those of the requesting frame. An application that embeds untrusted iframe content and grants pointer lock based on the requesting origin could therefore grant the permission under the top-level page's identity. Applications that deny pointerLock for untrusted embedded content are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 42.11.9, 43.7.6, 44.5.0, and 45.0.0-alpha.13.

Oct 21, 2026Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.CVE-2026-113796 · Other software · electron · reported by GitHubMedium 4.2
Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to versions 42.11.3, 43.7.0, 44.3.0, and 45.0.0-alpha.6, Electron treated pages opened into a new window from links as application-initiated navigations instead of preserving the page containing the link as the initiator. The resulting top-level request could be classified as same-site, causing SameSite=Strict cookies to be sent and Sec-Fetch-Site not to identify the initiating page. An application that loads untrusted content and permits it to open new windows could therefore allow that content to make a credentialed request to another site that relies on SameSite cookies for CSRF protection. This issue is fixed in versions 42.11.3, 43.7.0, 44.3.0, and 45.0.0-alpha.6.

Oct 20, 2026Flatpak is a system for building, distributing, and running sandboxed desktop applications on Linux.CVE-2026-92162 · Other software · flatpak · reported by GitHubHigh 7.2
Flatpak is a system for building, distributing, and running sandboxed desktop applications on Linux. Prior to version 1.18.1, on systems where at least one OCI remote is configured (most common on Fedora systems), a malicious local user in an active local session could use a crafted architecture name to trick the `flatpak-system-helper` process into creating a root-owned directory tree with contents determined by the OCI remote, plus a root-owned `lock` file and `icons` directory, outside the intended root directory. If this vulnerability is combined with other vulnerabilities also fixed in 1.18.1, the combination can lead to local root privilege escalation. This particular vulnerability is not believed to be exploitable if there are no OCI remotes configured (common on non-Fedora systems). Version 1.18.1 patches the issue.

Oct 16, 2026OpenHuman is an open-source agent harness available as a desktop application and Rust library.CVE-2026-49410 · Other software · tinyhumansai · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1
OpenHuman is an open-source agent harness available as a desktop application and Rust library. Versions before 0.56.0 allow cross-site request forgery against the unauthenticated GET /auth/telegram loopback callback because telegram_auth_handler consumes an attacker-supplied one-time Telegram login token and passes the returned JWT to credentials::ops::store_session without validating browser fetch metadata or the request origin. An attacker with an OpenHuman account can cause a user with the local core running to visit a malicious page that requests the /auth/telegram endpoint on loopback port 7788, switching the user's active local session to the attacker's backend account and exposing subsequent agent actions, memory writes, and Telegram messages associated with that session to the attacker. Oct 14, 2026Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages.CVE-2026-101897 · Other software · angular · reported by GitHubMedium 5.1
Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. From 1.20.0 until 1.21.1, the Angular DevTools background service worker accepts chrome.runtime.sendMessage runtime messages from untrusted web pages or third-party content scripts without adequately verifying the message source. An untrusted sender that obtains a valid randomized victim tabId can direct the extension to use chrome.debugger to attach to another browser tab and trigger Chrome DevTools Protocol breakpoints. This can display the debugging banner, pause JavaScript execution, and prevent interaction with the target tab, but it does not provide remote code execution, privilege escalation, or cross-origin access to memory or credentials. Oct 14, 2026Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages.CVE-2026-101896 · Other software · angular · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2
Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 20.3.32, 21.2.24, and 22.2.0, the @angular/router URL parser stores numeric matrix parameter names and numeric outlet names as properties on initially empty JavaScript objects during Node.js server-side rendering. V8 can interpret these URL-derived keys as array indices and allocate dense backing stores sized to high numeric values, so repeated small path segments cause disproportionate per-segment heap consumption. An unauthenticated attacker can send overlapping requests containing repeated numeric matrix parameters when SSR is enabled, the router directly parses the request URL, and upstream proxies allow semicolons and multiple path segments, eventually exhausting the Node.js old-space heap and terminating the SSR worker. Pure client-side Angular applications are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 20.3.32, 21.2.24, and 22.2.0.

Prior to 20.3.31, 21.2.23, and 22.1.6, the @angular/platform-server DOM emulation parser can enter an infinite synchronous loop when Angular server-side rendering processes attacker-controlled HTML containing an incomplete DOCTYPE that ends with whitespace at end of input. In Domino lib/HTMLParser.js, after_doctype_name_state emits doctype and EOF tokens without advancing nextchar or leaving the fixed-lookahead state, so the scanner repeatedly handles the same EOF marker. A remote unauthenticated attacker can use this condition through server-side HTML parsing paths such as innerHTML binding to consume a Node.js SSR worker at full CPU, starve the event loop, and stop concurrent and subsequent requests. This issue is fixed in versions 20.3.31, 21.2.23, and 22.1.6.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
