    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv4: avoid divide by zero in fib_rebalance fib_rebalance() computes the total eligible nexthop weight in one pass and programs upper bounds in a second pass. A concurrent change to ignore_routes_with_linkdown can make the first pass return zero while the second pass sees an eligible nexthop, resulting in division by zero. If the first pass reports a zero total, set each nexthop upper bound to -1 and skip the division. This matches the IPv6 fix in commit d2c26c2911dd ("ipv6: avoid divide by zero in rt6_multipath_rebalance") and preserves the lock-free rebalance path.

  • Oct 26, 2026The IPv6 stack derived the long-lived secret key used to compute RFC 7217 stable interface identifiers (gen_stable_iid() in subsys/net/ip/ipv6.c) and RFC 8981 tCVE-2026-19742 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgLow 3.7

    The IPv6 stack derived the long-lived secret key used to compute RFC 7217 stable interface identifiers (gen_stable_iid() in subsys/net/ip/ipv6.c) and RFC 8981 temporary interface identifiers (gen_temporary_iid() in subsys/net/ip/ipv6_pe.c) with sys_rand_get(). That API is documented as not cryptographically secure, while both RFCs require this key to be an unpredictable random value of at least 128 bits — the unpredictability of every generated IID rests entirely on it. Depending on the platform, sys_rand_get() resolves either to a hardware entropy device or, on boards whose entropy driver sets CONFIG_ENTROPY_NEEDS_PRNG, to the non-cryptographic xoshiro128++ generator in subsys/random/random_xoshiro128.c, which keeps a single global 128-bit state shared with every other sys_rand_get() consumer. Many of those consumers put their output directly on the wire (ephemeral source ports, DNS query IDs, CoAP message IDs and tokens, DHCPv6 transaction IDs, WebSocket masking keys), and the xoshiro state transition is invertible, so an observer of a device's traffic can recover the generator state and reconstruct the IID secret key. Additionally, with the entropy-device backend sys_rand_get()

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: openvswitch: fix soft lockup in the netlink flow dump A production compute node carrying a few thousand datapath flows hit a soft lockup inside a single netlink flow dump and panicked. ovs_flow_cmd_dump() calls ovs_flow_stats_get() for every flow it emits, and that releases stats->lock with spin_unlock_bh() once per CPU that has touched the flow. Every release is a local_bh_enable(), and each one runs the pending softirq backlog in the dumping thread's own context. The skb bounds the flows one callback emits, but not the softirq work it absorbs. On a CPU that carries the box's packet load the backlog refills as fast as it drains, so the dumping thread becomes that CPU's softirq engine. It never sleeps and it has no reschedule point, so under voluntary preemption nothing can take the CPU away from it: neither the ksoftirqd the kernel woke to take the work over, nor the stopper thread the softlockup detector dispatches to refresh its timestamp. Hold BH off across the whole callback instead, the way ctnetlink_dump_table() does, so the nested spin_unlock_bh() stop draining softirqs. The loop already runs under rcu

    OCO-Server is a self-hosted endpoint management application for computer inventory, software deployment, and mobile device management. Prior to 1.2.3,the Apple MDM enrollment endpoint `frontend/api-mdm.php` verifies the signed enrollment-request plist with `openssl_pkcs7_verify(..., PKCS7_NOVERIFY, ...)`. `PKCS7_NOVERIFY` disables signer certificate chain and trust validation, so the signature only has to be self-consistent with whatever certificate is embedded in the PKCS#7 blob. A self-signed certificate from an unrelated attacker is accepted. Because the endpoint trusts the `SERIAL` field taken from the unverified payload, anyone who knows a registered device's serial number can sign a forged plist (`SERIAL` = victim device, attacker-chosen `UDID`) with an arbitrary self-signed certificate; POST it unauthenticated to `/api-mdm.php/profile` (Content-Type: `application/pkcs7-signature`); and receive the victim device's freshly minted MDM identity: a certificate with `CN=<serial>` issued by the server's internal MDM device CA, bundled with its private key in a PKCS#12 payload inside the returned `.mobileconfig` enrollment profile. Additionally, the victim's `mobile_device` database

  • Oct 22, 2026OCO-Server is a self-hosted endpoint management application for computer inventory, software deployment, and mobile device management.CVE-2026-61791 · Other software · schorschii · reported by GitHubHigh 7.4

    OCO-Server is a self-hosted endpoint management application for computer inventory, software deployment, and mobile device management. Prior to 1.2.1, `Html::commandButton()` in `lib/Html.class.php` embeds an action URL containing a stored computer hostname into a JavaScript string in an inline `onclick` handler, using `htmlspecialchars(ENT_QUOTES)` only for HTML escaping. Browsers decode the HTML entities before interpreting the handler as JavaScript, allowing a crafted hostname to escape the string and execute script in an administrator's authenticated session when an affected command button is activated. `frontend/views/computer-details.php` passes `$computer->hostname` to this helper using `Computer::DEFAULT_COMPUTER_COMMANDS` in `lib/Models/Computer.class.php`, whose VNC, RDP, SSH, and Ping entries use `new_tab=false` and the vulnerable `window.location` branch. A remote attacker who possesses the shared `agent-registration-key` can use the `oco.agent.hello` handler in `frontend/api-agent.php` to store an unchecked hostname when `agent-self-registration-enabled` is enabled; self-registration is disabled by default. The vulnerable default command buttons require no custom comma

    OCO-Server is a self-hosted endpoint management application for computer inventory, software deployment, and mobile device management. Prior to 1.2.3, a valid Self-Service Portal user with permission to create job containers and read visibility on a computer and package can queue an uninstall job without deploy permission for those resources. Requests to `self-service/ajax-handler/job-containers.php` pass `uninstall_package_assignment_id[]` values to `lib/SelfService/CoreLogic.class.php::uninstallSelfService()`. Its permission-check loop continues after denied `METHOD_DEPLOY` checks without removing rejected IDs from `$installationIds`, then passes the original list to `lib/CoreLogic.class.php::uninstall()`. The CoreLogic object is constructed with a null SystemUser, causing `lib/CoreLogic.class.php::checkPermission()` to treat the operation as system context and unconditionally permit it. Enumerable `computer_package.id` values allow selection of readable installed-package assignments, including those on other users' computers. The `deploySelfService()` install path instead aborts on denied deployment permission, and resources lacking read permission remain blocked. This permits u

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: sd_zbc: Reject disks with too many zones sd_zbc_read_zones() computes the number of zones with 64-bit arithmetic and stores the result in the unsigned int nr_zones field of struct zoned_disk_info, silently truncating counts that exceed 32 bits. The truncated count is later used to size per-zone resources, while the device may still report more zones than fit. Moreover, sd_zbc_report_zones() counts the reported zones with a signed int zone_idx, which overflows past INT_MAX. Reject devices reporting more than INT_MAX zones at scan time; such a device is not realistic for any medium that exists today, and accepting it produces inconsistent zone bookkeeping.

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Reject non-negative offsets in stack_slot_obj_get_spi() bpf_get_spi() computes (-off - 1) / BPF_REG_SIZE using C division, which truncates toward zero. For off == 0, this produces spi 0, the same index used by the valid stack slot at fp-8. stack_slot_obj_get_spi() currently checks alignment and the resulting spi bounds, but does not reject the non-negative offset itself. It can therefore validate a PTR_TO_STACK register holding fp+0 against an iterator stored at fp-8 even though the runtime receives the actual fp+0 pointer. An effectful iterator kfunc can then interpret memory outside the BPF stack as iterator state. Reject non-negative offsets before converting the offset to an spi. All valid stack objects begin at a negative offset from the frame pointer.

  • Oct 14, 2026The STM32WBA IEEE 802.15.4 driver in drivers/ieee802154/ieee802154_stm32wba.c computed the packet length of a received frame as pkt_len = rx_frame->length - IEECVE-2026-75085 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 4.2

    The STM32WBA IEEE 802.15.4 driver in drivers/ieee802154/ieee802154_stm32wba.c computed the packet length of a received frame as pkt_len = rx_frame->length - IEEE802154_FCS_LENGTH without first checking that the radio-reported length could hold an FCS. pkt_len is a uint8_t, so a reported length of 0 or 1 wrapped to 254 or 255. The only bound on the resulting value was __ASSERT_NO_MSG(pkt_len <= CONFIG_NET_BUF_DATA_SIZE), which compiles to nothing in the default production configuration (CONFIG_ASSERT=n). The length originates in the ST link-layer receive-done metadata (p_metadata->length, stored by stm32wba_802154_receive_done()), and ultimately in the PHY header of a frame received over the air, so it is influenced by any attacker within radio range of the device. Reaching the underflow requires the vendor link layer to surface a frame shorter than the FCS with no error; the driver performed no validation of its own on that value. When the underflow occurs, stm32wba_802154_rx_thread() calls net_pkt_write(pkt, rx_frame->psdu, pkt_len) with a length of about 254 bytes against a receive buffer that holds at most one PHY packet (IEEE802154_MAX_PHY_PACKET_SIZE, 127 bytes). The receive path of the NXP KW41Z IEEE 802.15.4 driver, kw41z_rx() in drivers/ieee802154/ieee802154_kw41z.c, computed the payload size as pkt_len = len - KW41Z_FCS_LENGTH in a uint8_t, where len is the frame length reported by the radio. The interrupt handler kw41z_isr() obtained that length from the RX_FRAME_LENGTH field of the ZLL IRQSTS register — a copy of the PHY header length byte of the frame received over the air — and only rejected the value zero. A reported length of one therefore underflowed to pkt_len == 255. Because the packet is allocated with NET_AF_UNSPEC on a non-Ethernet L2, net_pkt_rx_alloc_with_buffer() does not clamp the request to the interface MTU; with the default fixed-size buffer pool (CONFIG_NET_BUF_FIXED_DATA_SIZE, CONFIG_NET_BUF_DATA_SIZE=128) the allocation succeeded as a chain of two fragments. The subsequent register-to-buffer copy loops write into the first fragment only, so 255 bytes were written into a 128-byte net_buf data block, overrunning it by up to 127 bytes into adjacent network-buffer-pool memory, and reading up to 128 bytes past the end of the radio's PKT_BUFFER_RX register array. Crux Agent from 1.9.0 before 2.0.3 uses the full SKA bilocation key as the WireGuard preshared key. When a peering session negotiates use of SHA-512, the key produced is 64 bytes instead of the 32 bytes WireGuard requires. The agent does not validate this size; instead it attempts to use the `wg set` command to update the live tunnel, and write the invalid key to the WireGuard configuration file. The update fails, so the live tunnel keeps using its previous preshared key until the tunnel is shut down. The tunnel will fail to start when restarted. For a peer which has never successfully negotiated a 32-byte bilocation key in a Crux C2 organization which has the "Enforce SKA Use" setting turned off, no preshared key will be set for the tunnel. Therefore, an attacker who is able to intercept and store the peer's traffic, and has access (or will have access) to a cryptographically relevant quantum computer, will be able to decrypt the tunnel.

    dynamic_object_create() in kernel/userspace/userspace.c computed the backing allocation for a dynamically allocated kernel object as obj_size_get(otype) + size, and for thread stack elements as STACK_ELEMENT_DATA_SIZE(size) (a round-up plus fixed overhead), without checking either expression for unsigned wrap-around. A size close to SIZE_MAX makes the computed total wrap to a very small value, so the heap chunk handed out is a few bytes while the object descriptor is still tagged with the full requested type and registered in the kernel object table. The size argument reaches that arithmetic directly from user mode. k_object_alloc_size() is declared __syscall in include/zephyr/sys/kobject.h, its verifier z_vrfy_k_object_alloc_size() in kernel/userspace/userspace_handler.c is a bare pass-through, and z_object_alloc() only range-checks otype — nothing bounds size. The stack-element branch is additionally reachable through the k_thread_stack_alloc() syscall via kernel/dynamic.c. ieee802154_decipher_data_frame() in subsys/net/l2/ieee802154/ieee802154_frame.c computed payload_len = net_pkt_get_len(pkt) - ll_hdr_len - authtag_len without first checking that the received frame is at least ll_hdr_len + authtag_len bytes long. All three variables are uint8_t, so a frame whose payload is shorter than the configured authentication tag makes the subtraction wrap around to a large value (up to 255). The wrapped length is passed unchanged to ieee802154_decrypt_auth() and on to the CCM operation as cipher_pkt.in_len/out_buf_max, with apkt->tag pointing at frame + ll_hdr_len + payload_len. Because the receive buffer is allocated to the exact length of the frame received from the radio driver, the crypto layer then reads several hundred bytes past the end of the packet buffer and writes the same number of decrypted bytes back over it in place. The frame's authentication tag is only verified after this processing has taken place, so no key material, association or prior authentication is needed — a single crafted short frame from any device in radio range is sufficient. Frame validation in ieee802154_validate_frame() does not prevent it: a data frame is accepted with a

  • Sep 29, 2026The Apache Airflow Teradata provider's compute-cluster example Dag declared every one of its Dag Params as unconstrained free text and templated them straight iCVE-2026-86843 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 6.3

    The Apache Airflow Teradata provider's compute-cluster example Dag declared every one of its Dag Params as unconstrained free text and templated them straight into the compute-cluster operators, which interpolate those values into Teradata DDL. A user who is permitted to trigger that Dag - a lower-trust role than the Dag author, and one that needs no Teradata credentials of its own - could therefore supply SQL fragments that execute under the connection the task runs as, and could additionally redirect the task at any other connection defined in the deployment, because the connection id was itself a free-text Param. Only deployments that run this example Dag, or a Dag copied from it, are affected; the provider's operator code is unchanged. Users of apache-airflow-providers-teradata are recommended to upgrade to version 3.7.0 or later, whose example constrains the Params to validated identifiers and a closed value set and removes connection selection and free-form option strings from trigger-time input. Upgrading does not change a Dag already copied from the example; users who copied it should apply the same constraints to their copy.

    OpenClaw (npm package openclaw) before 2026.8.1 could include deterministic hashes computed over the original, unredacted configuration in redacted configuration responses. When the Gateway password had low entropy and the remaining configuration values were reconstructable, these hashes acted as offline password verifiers: a caller able to obtain the redacted configuration (for example via config.get) could test password candidates offline without going through the rate-limited Gateway authentication path. Recovering the password could grant the documented shared-secret operator authority. Secret references were not affected in the same way. The issue is fixed in 2026.8.1.

    Temporal Server compiles a Worker Controller Instance module into its Worker Service, and that module registers a compute provider named subprocess whose function is to launch a worker by running a command on the machine hosting the Worker Service. The program name and the argument vector that provider executes are taken from the compute provider configuration supplied in the caller's request rather than from operator configuration. An authenticated caller holding only a write role in a single namespace can therefore configure a worker deployment version so that the Worker Service executes a command of the caller's choosing on its own host, under the account the server process runs as. Execution is immediate rather than deferred: the configuration handler invokes every provider using the invoke strategy directly after validating the submitted specification, so no scaling decision, task arrival, or unusual request sequence is required. Because the Worker Service process holds the persistence credentials for every namespace in the cluster and the cluster's TLS material, the consequence reaches beyond the caller's namespace to the cluster as a whole. The provider is present in the off

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/mlx5: Fix integer overflow of user QP buffer size set_user_buf_size() computes the QP buffer size by left-shifting the user-supplied rq.wqe_cnt and rq.wqe_shift values as signed integers. A sufficiently large rq.wqe_cnt causes signed integer overflow, which is undefined behavior, and yields a small or negative buf_size, causing ib_umem_get() to map a buffer smaller than the hardware will actually write into. Replace the shifts and addition with check_shl_overflow() and check_add_overflow(), rejecting invalid user inputs. Moreover, guard the identical shift computing qp->sq.offset in _create_user_qp() before set_user_buf_size() is reached.

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu/gfx6: Use PFP on the compute queues too On GFX6, the compute rings use the same CP path as the graphics ring. The only difference is that they don't support draw commands. (As opposed to GFX7 and newer which have a separate command parser that is called MEC for compute queues.) This means that we have to take into consideration that the PFP also exists on compute queues on GFX6: Use PFP for register writes on both graphics and compute queues. In the pipeline sync, use the PFP to wait for the previous fence (and not the ME) to prevent the PFP from starting to execute the next submission while the ME is still in the previous submission. After a VM flush, emit PFP_SYNC_ME on compute queues as well.

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: fq: add overflow bounds to quantum and initial quantum fq_init() computes quantum = 2 * psched_mtu() and initial_quantum = 10 * psched_mtu() with no overflow check. A device with a huge MTU (e.g. dummy with max_mtu == 0 accepting MTU 2147483634) makes psched_mtu() return 0x80000000; the 2 * and 10 * multiplications wrap to 0 in 32-bit arithmetic, so q->quantum == 0. Then in fq_dequeue() the credit-refill loop adds 0 to f->credit (which stays <= 0) and goto begin loops forever under the qdisc lock, creating a soft lockup. Clamp psched_mtu() to [1, 1 << 20] before multiplying so the product cannot wrap, then cap the result at 1 << 20, matching the bound already enforced on TCA_FQ_QUANTUM in fq_change(). Conditions to recreate the bug: a device whose MTU (plus hard_header_len) is large enough that 2 * psched_mtu() wraps (e.g. a dummy device with max_mtu == 0 accepting MTU 2147483634). Requires CAP_NET_ADMIN in a user namespace.

  • Sep 15, 2026MySQL MCP Server is a Model Context Protocol server that enables secure interaction with MySQL databases.CVE-2026-59971 · Other software · designcomputer · reported by GitHubCritical 10

    MySQL MCP Server is a Model Context Protocol server that enables secure interaction with MySQL databases. Prior to 0.4.2, setting MCP_TRANSPORT=sse causes src/mysql_mcp_server/server.py to construct SseServerTransport without security_settings or enable_dns_rebinding_protection, while the Starlette routes /, /sse, and /messages/ have no authentication and the service binds to 0.0.0.0 by default. A network attacker can directly reach execute_sql, or can use DNS rebinding to make a victim's browser relay same-origin requests to a locally bound service, and supply a query that reaches cursor.execute(query). This allows unauthenticated disclosure and modification of the configured database; when the MySQL account has FILE privileges, the same access can read or write server files and may enable code execution. The default stdio transport is not affected. This issue is fixed in 0.4.2.
