    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/insn-eval: Fix shadowed segment index in get_seg_reg_override_idx() Commit 45e1dccc0653 ("x86/insn: Simplify for_each_insn_prefix()") made for_each_insn_prefix() declare its own loop counter named idx. get_seg_reg_override_idx() keeps its result in a local of the same name, so the assignments in the loop body now write the loop counter: - the function always returns INAT_SEG_REG_DEFAULT, so FS and GS overrides are ignored; - a CS override sets the counter to INAT_SEG_REG_CS (2), the increment makes it 3, and prefixes.bytes[3] holds the last prefix, 0x2e again, so the loop never terminates. The UMIP emulation reaches this from the #GP handler for user space: an SGDT, SIDT or SMSW with a memory operand and a CS prefix leaves the task spinning in the kernel, never returning to user space, with a SIGKILL that is never delivered. Any user can thus tie up CPUs until reboot. With an FS or GS prefix, the emulated result is written to the wrong address. Rename the internal macro iterator variable. [ Lukas' original patch renamed the use site, I changed it to rename the iterator in the macro instead,

    CCC Attestation SIG attested-tls-poc through commit 731ca82 fails to bind early attestation Evidence to the TLS connection, allowing attackers to relay valid Evidence from a genuine attester. • Oct 5, 2026The system-call verifier for i3c_do_ccc() in drivers/i3c/i3c_handlers.c validated the outer struct i3c_ccc_payload, the broadcast ccc.data buffer and the targetCVE-2026-19185 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgHigh 7.8

    The system-call verifier for i3c_do_ccc() in drivers/i3c/i3c_handlers.c validated the outer struct i3c_ccc_payload, the broadcast ccc.data buffer and the targets.payloads[] array, but did not validate the per-target data buffers those array elements point at. Each struct i3c_ccc_target_payload carries its own data pointer and data_len, and neither was passed through K_SYSCALL_MEMORY() before the payload was handed to z_impl_i3c_do_ccc() and on to the controller driver. The verifier also operated on the caller's live structure rather than a snapshot, so validated fields could be changed by a second user thread between the check and the driver's use — unlike the sibling z_vrfy_i3c_transfer(), which has always copied its message array first. The defect is only present in CONFIG_USERSPACE builds, where drivers/i3c/i3c_handlers.c is compiled. An unprivileged user-mode thread that has been granted access to the I3C controller device object — the ordinary way an application lets a user thread talk to I3C peripherals — can issue a direct CCC whose target payload data pointer names an arbitrary kernel address. Controller drivers dereference that pointer directly (for example drivers/i3c/i3

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: cec: core: Fix kmemleak due to missed rc_free_device() call The commit dccc0c3ddf8f ("media: rc: fix race between unregister and urb/irq callbacks") removed the implicit call to rc_free_device() from rc_unregister_device(). In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/imagination: Fit paired fragment job in the correct CCCB For geometry jobs with a paired fragment job, at the moment, the DRM scheduler's prepare_job() callback: - checks for internal (driver) dependencies for the geometry job; - calls into pvr_queue_get_paired_frag_job_dep() to check for external dependencies for the fragment job (the two jobs are submitted together but the common scheduler code doesn't know about it, so this needs to be done at this point in time); - calls into the prepare_job() callback again, but for the fragment job, to check its internal dependencies as well, passing the fragment job's drm_sched_job and the geometry job's drm_sched_entity / pvr_queue. The problem with the last step is that pvr_queue_prepare_job() doesn't always take the mismatched fragment job and geometry queue into account, in particular when checking whether there is space for the fragment command to be submitted, so the code ends up checking for space in the geometry (i.e. wrong) CCCB. The rest of the nested prepare_job() callback happens to work fine at the moment as the other internal dependencies are

  • Jul 31, 2026The Zephyr Bluetooth GATT client CCC-write response handler gatt_write_ccc_rsp() in subsys/bluetooth/host/gatt.c invoked the application's params->subscribe() cCVE-2026-10685 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgHigh 7.6

    The Zephyr Bluetooth GATT client CCC-write response handler gatt_write_ccc_rsp() in subsys/bluetooth/host/gatt.c invoked the application's params->subscribe() callback after it had already called params->notify(conn, params, NULL, 0). Per the public GATT API, a notify callback with NULL data is the documented signal that the subscription has terminated and the bt_gatt_subscribe_params struct may be freed or reused by the application; calling subscribe() on the struct afterwards is a use-after-free, including an indirect call through the freed params->subscribe function pointer. The error branch is remotely (adjacent) reachable: a Zephyr device acting as a GATT client that calls bt_gatt_subscribe() can be driven into this ordering when a connected GATT server peer answers the CCC write with an ATT Error Response (the peer-supplied error code flows through att_error_rsp -> att_handle_rsp into gatt_write_ccc_rsp). For applications that free or recycle subscription parameters in their notification-termination handler, this results in memory corruption, a crash (denial of service), or potentially attacker-influenced control flow. The fix reorders the handler so the subscribe() callba

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: clk: microchip: mpfs-ccc: fix out of bounds access during output registration UBSAN reported an out of bounds access during registration of the last two outputs. This out of bounds access occurs because space is only allocated in the hws array for two PLLs and the four output dividers that each has, but the defined IDs contain two DLLS and their two outputs each, which are not supported by the driver. The ID order is PLLs -> DLLs -> PLL outputs -> DLL outputs. Decrement the PLL output IDs by two while adding them to the array to avoid the problem.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
