  • Oct 28, 2026Bit Flows: AI Agent Automation & Integrations for Forms, CRM, eCommerce, Google Sheets, and More: Local File InclusionCVE-2026-110185 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.9

The Bit Flows: AI Agent Automation & Integrations for Forms, CRM, eCommerce, Google Sheets, and More plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 1.31.0 via the 'image (any body field referenced by the ImageHelper node's mix tag)' parameter parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to include and execute arbitrary .php files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where .php file types can be uploaded and included. Exploitation requires that an administrator has built a webhook-triggered flow that pipes a webhook body field into an ImageHelper imageToBase64 node, and that the webhook remains in its default configuration (no bearer secret enforced, no IP allowlist set) — a legitimate and documented use case.

  • Oct 28, 2026Mage Eventpress: Privilege escalationCVE-2026-109381 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Mage Eventpress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation in versions up to, and including, 5.7.8 This is due to the mep_grant_shop_manager_access() function hooking user_has_cap and unconditionally granting manage_options whenever an attacker-controllable request marker matches — most notably $_GET['page'] starting with 'mep_' or 'mpwem_', which is never validated against an actually registered EventPress screen. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Shop Manager-level access and above, to elevate their privileges to Administrator by appending ?page=mep_x to core admin URLs (options-general.

  • Oct 28, 2026Appointment Booking Calendar: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-111727 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The Appointment Booking Calendar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'vs_text_submitbtn' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.05 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires the attacker to be assigned as a calendar owner, a per-user grant that any administrator can extend to users as low as Subscriber level through the plugin's calendar list screen. Exploitation by attackers with subscriber-level access and above requires that an administrator has assigned the attacker's account as owner (`conwer`) of a calendar via the plugin's calendar list screen; the plugin's UI lists all registered users regardless of role, so a Subscriber can be assigned. On a default installation, where that is not configured, the vulnerability requires attackers with editor-level access and above.

  • Oct 27, 2026Kirki: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-75891 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The Kirki plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation via PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 6.2.5 via deserialization of untrusted input through the 'get-single-symbol' branch of the kirki_post_apis() AJAX dispatcher due to a missing capability check. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to inject a PHP Object. The additional presence of a POP chain allows attackers to overwrite an administrator's password and gain administrative access.

  • Oct 24, 2026aBlocks – Gutenberg Blocks, User Dashboard Builder, Popup Builder, Form Builder & Animation Builder: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-110018 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The aBlocks – Gutenberg Blocks, User Dashboard Builder, Popup Builder, Form Builder & Animation Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 2.17.0 via the `/ablocks/v1/form-builder/registration` REST endpoint. The vulnerability exists because the endpoint is registered with `permission_callback => __return_true` and the `register()` handler reads `roleSlug` directly from attacker-controlled block attributes in `post_content` without ever verifying that the block's `formType` is `registration` — a condition that `RegistrationFormSanitizer::verify()` imposes only at save-time, meaning a Contributor can preserve an arbitrary `roleSlug` by saving a block with `formType='login'` and then triggering the endpoint via a valid `wp_rest` nonce and post-ownership check. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to escalate their WordPress role to Editor or any other non-administrator role and receive a fully authenticated session at the elevated privilege level via `WP_User::set_role()` and `wp_set_auth_cookie()`. Escalation is bounded below administrator-tier roles because `is_safe

  • Oct 24, 2026User Profile Builder – Beautiful User Registration Forms, User Profiles & User Role Editor: Limited Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-115807 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.1

The User Profile Builder – Beautiful User Registration Forms, User Profiles & User Role Editor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Limited Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.3. This is due to the Gutenberg Register block passing the attacker-controlled Assigned Role attribute directly into the `[wppb-register]` shortcode without server-side authorization. The role guard in the form builder only downgrades roles that carry the manage_options or remove_users capability, leaving the Editor role and other privileged non-Administrator roles completely unrestricted. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Author-level access and above to create new WordPress accounts bearing the Editor role (or any other role that lacks the two guarded capabilities).

  • Oct 17, 2026WP Booking System – Booking Calendar: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-109369 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.8

The WP Booking System – Booking Calendar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 2.1.0.3 This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to grant themselves and arbitrary other users edit access to every booking form on the site by overwriting the user_permission meta that governs the plugin's own access-control list. Exploitation requires the attacker to have already been delegated edit rights on at least one booking form, as this delegation both downgrades the submenu capability to 'read' (making the edit page accessible) and allows them to harvest a valid wpbs_edit_form nonce that will pass validation against any other form_id.

The Appointment Booking Plugin – LatePoint | Calendar & Scheduling for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 5.7.4 via the 'params (customer[uuid])' parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract the first name, last name, email address, phone number, and notes of every customer record in the database by enumerating uuid prefixes via the unauthenticated steps__load_step AJAX endpoint. • Oct 16, 2026Appointment Booking Plugin – LatePoint | Calendar & Scheduling for: Authentication BypassCVE-2026-110653 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.1

The Appointment Booking Plugin – LatePoint | Calendar & Scheduling for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass via Race Condition in all versions up to, and including, 5.7.4. This is due to a non-atomic read-modify-write on the OTP verification attempts counter in the `verifyOTP` function: the counter is incremented using a stale in-memory value with no conditional `WHERE attempts < 10` guard on the `UPDATE` and no `SELECT ... FOR UPDATE` row lock, creating a TOCTOU window that allows concurrent requests to bypass the 10-attempt lockout. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers — who know a target customer's registered email address or phone number — to fire concurrent requests to the `auth__verify_otp` endpoint, defeat the lockout cap, brute-force the 6-digit OTP code, and authenticate as the targeted LatePoint customer, gaining full access to their account, bookings, and personal data. The nonce check present on the endpoint (`otp_verify_otp_nonce`) does not mitigate this issue, as the nonce is publicly emitted by the unauthenticated `request_otp` and `resend_otp` endpoints and is trivially obtainable by any unauthenticated attacker prior

The DoubleScale | All-in-One CRM – Sales, Multi-Channel Marketing, Newsletter, Booking, Helpdesk, Automation, MCP & More plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 1.5.1 via the store_upload function. This is due to a fail-open extension allow-list in extension_is_allowed() that returns true when wp_check_filetype() yields an empty type for unrecognized extensions such as .php, combined with magic-byte-only MIME detection and no capability check beyond is_user_logged_in(). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. Exploitation requires the Helpdesk module to be enabled, as the vulnerable REST endpoint is only registered when that module is active.

The WP Booking System – Booking Calendar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to generic SQL Injection via the 'data[orderby]' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.1.0.1 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. Exploitation requires the targeted calendar to have more than 200 bookings, as the orderby value is only forwarded to the database layer when the AJAX handler takes the use_ajax branch; an Administrator can satisfy this condition by creating bookings directly.

The CP Multi View Events Calendar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'CalendarTitle' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.42 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires that an administrator has enabled the "Allow edition in frontend?" option on at least one calendar view, which exposes the unauthenticated add endpoint and a publicly accessible nonce.

  • Oct 16, 2026WP Compress – Instant Performance & Speed Optimization: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-104755 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.8

The WP Compress – Instant Performance & Speed Optimization plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 7.25.00 The vulnerability exists because the `start_comms` dispatcher (`wps_ic_comms::start_comms`), hooked on every front-end request, gates access only by comparing the caller-supplied `apikey` parameter against the stored plugin API key with no WordPress capability check and no nonce verification, then passes the unvalidated `group`, `setting`, and `value` parameters directly to `change_setting()`, which writes them into the `WPS_IC_SETTINGS` option without an allow-list. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to write arbitrary permission keys into the plugin's settings, causing `wps_ic_users::checkAndAddCaps()` to grant any WordPress role — including Subscriber — the `manage_wpc_settings` capability and thereby achieve plugin-administrator-equivalent control over the plugin's optimization, CDN, and critical-CSS surfaces. The API key required to pass the authorization check can itself be obtained without authentication via the `wpc_send_critical_remote` nopriv AJAX action: when the external critical-CSS service

  • Oct 16, 2026PilotPress: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-85659 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The PilotPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation via Account Takeover in all versions up to, and including, 2.0.43. The vulnerability exists because the `update_cc_details()` AJAX handler forwards an attacker-supplied `username` parameter to ONTRAPORT via `api_call('update_cc_details', ...)` before performing the local `username_exists()` collision check, and aborts without rolling back the remote rename when a collision is detected — leaving the remote ONTRAPORT contact renamed to an existing WordPress Administrator's login. On a subsequent login attempt, `user_login()` (hooked to `wp_authenticate`) authenticates against ONTRAPORT using the renamed login and the attacker's own password, resolves the local WordPress user row via `get_user_by('login', $username)` — which now selects the real Administrator's row — and calls `wp_set_password()` against that Administrator's user ID; because the `user_level != 10` guard only suppresses PilotPress's own cookie issuance rather than returning a `WP_Error` to core, WordPress proceeds to validate the newly-synchronized password and issues a full Administrator authentication cookie to the attacker. This makes it possi

The User Profile Builder – Beautiful User Registration Forms, User Profiles & User Role Editor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.3 via the `role` parameter handled by the `wppb_add_meta_to_user_on_activation()` function. The vulnerability exists because the activation handler passes the attacker-supplied role value directly to `WP_User::set_role()` with no allow-list validation, and the 4.0.3 reserved-name check exempts pre-existing form fields from the block, allowing a legacy field with meta-name `role` to persist and bridge attacker-controlled request input into the serialized signup record stored in `wp_signups`. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to gain a fully activated WordPress administrator account by submitting `role=administrator` through the public `[wppb-register]` shortcode form and subsequently clicking the confirmation activation link. Exploitation requires the site to have a legacy form field with meta-name `role` carried over from before the 4.0.3 upgrade, email confirmation enabled, and open user registration — all stable site-state conditions once established.

The Nexter Extension – Security, Performance, Code Snippets & Site Toolkit plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 4.7.11 The vulnerability exists because the `/?reset-view` handler in `role_switcher_to_view_admin_as()` performs no nonce or capability check when the supplied username matches the authenticated caller, and because the plugin's only cleanup mechanism — the `profile_update` hook — does not fire when WordPress performs a bulk role change via `wp-admin/users.php?action=promote`, which calls `WP_User::set_role()` directly and leaves a stale `administrator` value in the `nxtext_view_admin_original_role` user meta. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access or above to restore the stale stored Administrator role to their own account, effectively escalating their privileges to Administrator. Exploitation requires that the attacker's account previously held the Administrator role and used the View Admin Role Switcher feature before being demoted specifically through the bulk role-change control rather than the Edit User screen, as only the bulk path bypasses the `profile_update` hook

The MailOptin – Popup, Optin Forms & Email Newsletters for Mailchimp, HubSpot, AWeber Etc. plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.78.6 This is due to the `subscribe_to_email_list` endpoint accepting an attacker-supplied `optin_data[form_custom_field_mappings]` parameter without any allow-list validation on destination keys, allowing the attacker-controlled mapping to override the administrator's saved mapping and pass arbitrary `wp_users` column names — including `ID` and `user_pass` — directly into `wp_insert_user()` via the `subscribe()` function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to force `wp_insert_user()` into UPDATE mode on any existing account by supplying a target user's numeric `ID`, overwrite that account's password with a pre-hashed value of their choosing, and thereby take over any WordPress user account — including administrators — leading to full site compromise. Exploitation requires that a WordPress User Registration opt-in form is published somewhere on the site, though the form's UUID is visible in page source and no authentication, nonce, or capability check is required to reach the

The InstaWP Connect – 1-click WP Staging & Migration plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 0.1.4.1 This is due to the plugin registering its admin page via `add_management_page()` using a role name returned by `InstaWP_Setting::get_allowed_role()` as the required capability — which WordPress resolves as a real capability match for any user holding that role — combined with `generate_section_field()` rendering the master API key from the `instawp_api_options` option directly as the `value` attribute of a plain-text HTML input with no additional `manage_options` or equivalent capability check. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access and above to read the plaintext master API key, use its SHA-256-derived secret as a bearer token accepted by the plugin's REST API `validate_api_request()`, and call `POST /wp-json/instawp-connect/v2/auto-login` to mint a 30-second single-use login URL that sets an administrator authentication cookie — fully escalating their privileges. • Oct 16, 2026My Calendar – Accessible Event Manager: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-104798 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The My Calendar – Accessible Event Manager plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 3.8.7. The public `mcs` GET parameter is reflected into post content unsanitized before WordPress core's `do_shortcode` filter runs, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to inject a nested `[my_calendar above=...]` shortcode; `mc_generate_calendar_nav()` then splits the `above` attribute on commas and dispatches each element via `call_user_func()` with no authentication, authorization, or callable allowlist check. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to invoke arbitrary loaded PHP functions, enabling a call chain in which the shortcode `$params` array is passed to `edit_user()` — which PHP coerces to integer `1` as the `$user_id` argument — overwriting the credentials of the initial Administrator account (user ID 1) and granting the attacker full wp-admin access. Exploitation is trivially reachable via the plugin's auto-generated `/my-calendar/` page, which is publicly accessible by default upon plugin activation.

  • Oct 16, 2026Customer Email Verification for WooCommerce: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-104745 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1

The Customer Email Verification for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation via the `alg_wc_ev_verify_email` parameter in versions up to, and including, 3.3.0. The vulnerability exists because `alg_wc_ev_generate_user_code()` generates the per-user activation secret using `wp_rand(100)` when the plugin's 'Encoding method' is set to 'hashids', producing only ~101 possible values (~7 bits of entropy); the resulting token is a reversible Hashids encoding with no cryptographic MAC, and the unauthenticated `verify()` handler — hooked to `init` at `PHP_INT_MAX` with no nonce check and no rate limiting — accepts and acts on the attacker-controlled `?alg_wc_ev_verify_email=` GET parameter directly. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to gain authentication as any unverified WordPress account, including administrator-level accounts, by brute-forcing the trivially small activation code space via a forged verification URL. Exploitation requires that the 'Encoding method' setting be changed to 'hashids' (non-default), that the attacker recover or brute-force the Hashids salt (which defaults to an `md5(time())` value set at first initialization),

The LifterLMS – WP LMS for eLearning, Online Courses, & Quizzes plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in versions up to, and including, 10.3.1 via attacker-controlled attributes of the [lifterlms_checkout] shortcode. This is due to the llms_get_template() helper performing extract() on the shortcode attribute array before resolving the template path, which allows the attacker-supplied 'template_name' and 'default_path' shortcode attributes to overwrite the function's local parameters and ultimately control the path passed to a PHP include.
