  • Oct 23, 2026Isar is an integration system for automated root filesystem generation.CVE-2026-55222 · Other software · ilbers · reported by GitHubMedium 5.1

Isar is an integration system for automated root filesystem generation. In versions 0.11 and newer, /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d is created manually during bootstrap setup to be able to deploy local keys. By that, the directory is owned by the calling user (the one that executes Isar) instead of root. If the calling user's id is identical to one of an unprivileged user inside the image, this user is able to alter existing keys and deploy new ones, silently breaking the apt repo integrity protection. The issue is has no impact on those images that use an immutable rootfs, or if apt is never invoked. Changing only the keys does not trigger an exploit, it's just one step in a chain. An attacker would also have to manipulate a remote repo or intercept non-secure communication with it. This issue has been patched via commit 29e84ed.

  • Oct 16, 2026The Slim SEO – AI SEO Plugin, Lightweight, Fast & Automated: Arbitrary shortcode executionCVE-2026-104001 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.4

The The Slim SEO – AI SEO Plugin, Lightweight, Fast & Automated plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to, and including, 4.11.1 This is due to the software allowing users to execute an action that does not properly validate a value before running do_shortcode. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to execute arbitrary shortcodes. A Subscriber-level user need only save the shortcode payload to their own Biographical Info field via the REST API or wp-admin profile page; the shortcode then executes on any unauthenticated front-end request that resolves that author's description, such as requests using the ?author= query parameter when auto_redirection is disabled.

  • Oct 10, 2026AI Puffer – Chat. Create. Automate. (formerly AI Power): Authorization bypassCVE-2026-104742 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceLow 3.1

The AI Puffer – Chat. Create. Automate. (formerly AI Power) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 2.4.89. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to modify global site-wide semantic search settings, including vector provider, embedding provider, embedding model, target ID, number of results, and no-results text stored in aipkit_options, that are otherwise restricted to administrators. Exploitation requires that an administrator has previously granted the Knowledge Base ('sources') module to the attacker's role via the Role Manager, as this access is not available to lower-privileged users by default.

This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. • Sep 22, 2026Gardener implements the automated management and operation of Kubernetes clusters as a service.CVE-2026-79767 · Other software · gardener · reported by GitHubMedium 5.5

Gardener implements the automated management and operation of Kubernetes clusters as a service. Prior to 1.142.6, 1.143.3, 1.144.2, and 1.145.0, the customverbauthorizer admission plugin's mustCheckProjectMembers manage-members check compares changes to User subjects but does not account for Group or ServiceAccount subjects in Project.spec.members. • Sep 10, 2026Renovate is an automated dependency update tool.CVE-2026-88883 · Other software · renovatebot · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.3

Renovate is an automated dependency update tool. In versions before 44.14.4 (and Mend Renovate CE/EE images before 15.4.0 and the mend-renovate-enterprise-edition Helm chart before 10.4.0), log sanitisation for TLS private keys used for Mutual TLS was incomplete. While the value of hostRules[].httpsPrivateKey was redacted in the field itself, the same private key value was not redacted if it also appeared elsewhere — for example in another configuration option or in a log message under a key other than httpsPrivateKey — causing the full private key to be written to Renovate's logs in cleartext. This affects deployments that configure Mutual TLS through hostRules[].httpsPrivateKey without passing the value through the documented `secrets` configuration. Anyone able to read the resulting logs can recover the private key. The issue is fixed in Renovate 44.14.4, which redacts any value supplied as hostRules[].httpsPrivateKey wherever it appears in the logs; as a workaround, supply the key via the `secrets` configuration.

OpenAI Codex Desktop for Windows and macOS could execute attacker-controlled Git hooks because automated Git operations trusted the repository's local core.hooksPath setting. If a user opens an attacker-prepared repository whose preserved .git/config points core.hooksPath to an attacker-controlled directory, Codex can run a malicious hook while processing the repository. The hook executes outside Codex's command sandbox, without user approval, and with the user's privileges, allowing it to read, change, or delete the user's files and access other resources available to the user's account. An ordinary Git clone does not preserve the attacker-controlled repository-local configuration required for exploitation.

  • Jul 13, 2026MCP Appium is an MCP server that provides AI assistants with tools to automate mobile app testing on Android and iOS.CVE-2026-58500 · Other software · appium · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

MCP Appium is an MCP server that provides AI assistants with tools to automate mobile app testing on Android and iOS. In versions prior to 1.85.10, the createLocatorGeneratorUI function interpolates attacker-controlled element attributes — text, content-desc, resource-id, and locator selector values — directly into an HTML template literal without any HTML or JavaScript context escaping. An attacker who controls the UI of the app under test can inject arbitrary HTML and JavaScript into the MCP UI resource returned by the generate_locators tool. When a victim's MCP client renders this resource, the injected script executes and can invoke arbitrary MCP tools via window.parent.postMessage, leading to unauthorized MCP tool execution such as taking screenshots, reading page source, or any other registered capability. • Jul 1, 2026Slim SEO – A Fast & Automated SEO Plugin For: Unauthorized Private Content DisclosureCVE-2026-12408 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The Slim SEO – A Fast & Automated SEO Plugin For WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Unauthorized Private Content Disclosure in all versions up to, and including, 4.9.8 via the `/wp-json/slim-seo/meta-tags/ai` REST API endpoint. This is due to the endpoint's `permission_callback` performing only a top-level `edit_posts` capability check without verifying that the requesting user has read access to the specific post supplied via the `object.ID` parameter, allowing the `generate` function to pass the attacker-controlled post ID to `Data::get_post_content()`, which calls `get_post()` regardless of post status or ownership. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above to retrieve AI-generated summaries of the raw `post_content` of arbitrary posts they are not authorized to view — including private posts, drafts, pending, future, and password-protected content authored by other users — with the substance of the protected content disclosed via the HTTP response.

  • Jun 23, 2026FOSSBilling is a billing and client management system that automates invoicing, payments, and communication for online service businesses.CVE-2025-64105 · Other software · FOSSBilling · reported by GitHubMedium 5.1

FOSSBilling is a billing and client management system that automates invoicing, payments, and communication for online service businesses. Versions 0.6.21 through 0.7.2 are vulnerable to IDOR through the support ticket creation workflow. By manipulating rel_id when rel_type=order, an authenticated client can create a support ticket that references another client's order they do not own. The ticketCreateForClient() method accepted rel_id without verifying order ownership for non-upgrade tasks, allowing clients to link a new ticket to another client's order by crafting the request. No cron task automatically processes cancel/upgrade requests from ticket relations; staff action is required. This affects integrity and confidentiality: staff could be misled into acting on the wrong order (e.g., cancellation or upgrade requests). While there is no client-to-client order data exposure, order IDs may appear in ticket context. This issue has been fixed in version 0.8.0.

AutoGPT is a platform that allows users to create, deploy, and manage continuous artificial intelligence agents that automate complex workflows. In AutoGPT, the execution process is recorded to the console (stdout/stderr), and deployed in container mode, which is automatically captured by Docker and stored as "container logs". However, prior to 0.6.32, there is no limit on the log size when the container is deployed. • Apr 10, 2026Step CA is an online certificate authority for secure, automated certificate management for DevOps.CVE-2026-40097 · Other software · smallstep · reported by GitHubLow 3.7

Step CA is an online certificate authority for secure, automated certificate management for DevOps. From 0.24.0 to before 0.30.0-rc3, an attacker can trigger an index out-of-bounds panic in Step CA by sending a crafted attestation key (AK) certificate with an empty Extended Key Usage (EKU) extension during TPM device attestation. When processing a device-attest-01 ACME challenge using TPM attestation, Step CA validates that the AK certificate contains the tcg-kp-AIKCertificate Extended Key Usage OID. During this validation, the EKU extension value is decoded from its ASN.1 representation and the first element is checked. A crafted certificate could include an EKU extension that decodes to an empty sequence, causing the code to panic when accessing the first element of the empty slice. This vulnerability is only reachable when a device-attest-01 ACME challenge with TPM attestation is configured. Deployments not using TPM device attestation are not affected. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.30.0-rc3.

The root cause is that CustomUserSerializer explicitly includes is_superuser in its fields list but omits it from read_only_fields, making it a writable field. The edit_user view performs no additional validation to prevent non-superusers from modifying this field. Once is_superuser is set to true, gaining unrestricted access to all application functionality without requiring re-authentication. This issue has been patched in version 2.0.1.

  • Mar 19, 2026Kargo manages and automates the promotion of software artifacts.CVE-2026-32828 · Other software · akuity · reported by GitHubMedium 5.1

Kargo manages and automates the promotion of software artifacts. In versions 1.4.0 through 1.6.3, 1.7.0-rc.1 through 1.7.8, 1.8.0-rc.1 through 1.8.11, and 1.9.0-rc.1 through 1.9.4, the http and http-download promotion steps allow Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) against link-local addresses, most critically the cloud instance metadata endpoint (169.254.169.254), enabling exfiltration of sensitive data such as IAM credentials. These steps provide full control over request headers and methods, rendering cloud provider header-based SSRF mitigations ineffective. An authenticated attacker with permissions to create/update Stages or craft Promotion resources can exploit this by submitting a malicious Promotion manifest, with response data retrievable via Promotion status fields, Git repositories, or a second http step. This issue has been fixed in versions 1.6.4, 1.7.9, 1.8.12 and 1.9.5.

  • Feb 25, 2026Kruise provides automated management of large-scale applications on Kubernetes.CVE-2026-24005 · Other software · openkruise · reported by GitHubNone

Kruise provides automated management of large-scale applications on Kubernetes. Prior to versions 1.8.3 and 1.7.5, PodProbeMarker allows defining custom probes with TCPSocket or HTTPGet handlers. The webhook validation does not restrict the Host field in these probe configurations. Since kruise-daemon runs with hostNetwork=true, it executes probes from the node network namespace. An attacker with PodProbeMarker creation permission can specify arbitrary Host values to trigger SSRF from the node, perform port scanning, and receive response feedback through NodePodProbe status messages. Versions 1.8.3 and 1.7.5 patch the issue.

  • Feb 20, 2026Kargo manages and automates the promotion of software artifacts.CVE-2026-27112 · Other software · akuity · reported by GitHubCritical 9.4

Kargo manages and automates the promotion of software artifacts. From 1.7.0 to before v1.7.8, v1.8.11, and v1.9.3, the batch resource creation endpoints of both Kargo's legacy gRPC API and newer REST API accept multi-document YAML payloads. Specially crafted payloads can manifest a bug present in the logic of both endpoints to inject arbitrary resources (of specific types only) into the underlying namespace of an existing Project using the API server's own permissions when that behavior was not intended. Critically, an attacker may exploit this as a vector for elevating their own permissions, which can then be leveraged to achieve remote code execution or secret exfiltration. Exfiltrated artifact repository credentials can be leveraged, in turn, to execute further attacks. In some configurations of the Kargo control plane's underlying Kubernetes cluster, elevated permissions may additionally be leveraged to achieve remote code execution or secret exfiltration using kubectl. This can reduce the complexity of the attack, however, worst case scenarios remain entirely achievable even without this. This vulnerability is fixed in v1.7.8, v1.8.11, and v1.9.3.

  • Feb 20, 2026Kargo manages and automates the promotion of software artifacts.CVE-2026-27111 · Other software · akuity · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Kargo manages and automates the promotion of software artifacts. From v1.9.0 to v1.9.2, Kargo's authorization model includes a promote verb -- a non-standard Kubernetes "dolphin verb" -- that gates the ability to advance Freight through a promotion pipeline. This verb exists to separate the ability to manage promotion-related resources from the ability to trigger promotions, enabling fine-grained access control over what is often a sensitive operation. The promote verb is correctly enforced in Kargo's legacy gRPC API. However, three endpoints in the newer REST API omit this check, relying only on standard Kubernetes RBAC for the underlying resource operations (patch on freights/status or create on promotions). This permits users who hold those standard permissions -- but who were deliberately not granted promote -- to bypass the intended authorization boundary. The affected endpoints are /v1beta1/projects/{project}/freight/{freight}/approve, /v1beta1/projects/{project}/stages/{stage}/promotions, and /v1beta1/projects/{project}/stages/{stage}/promotions/downstream. This vulnerability is fixed in v1.9.3.

AutoGPT is a platform that allows users to create, deploy, and manage continuous artificial intelligence agents that automate complex workflows. Prior to 0.6.48, an authenticated user could achieve Remote Code Execution (RCE) on the backend server by embedding a disabled block inside a graph. The BlockInstallationBlock — a development tool capable of writing and importing arbitrary Python code — was marked disabled=True, but graph validation did not enforce this flag. This allowed any authenticated user to bypass the restriction by including the block as a node in a graph, rather than calling the block's execution endpoint directly (which did enforce the flag). This vulnerability is fixed in 0.6.48.

AutoGPT is a platform that allows users to create, deploy, and manage continuous artificial intelligence agents that automate complex workflows. The autogpt before 0.6.32 is vulnerable to Regular Expression Denial of Service due to the use of regex at Code Extraction Block. The two Regex are used containing the corresponding dangerous patterns \s+[\s\S]*? and \s+(.*?). They share a common characteristic — the combination of two adjacent quantifiers that can match the same space character (\s). As a result, an attacker can supply a long sequence of space characters to trigger excessive regex backtracking, potentially leading to a Denial of Service (DoS). This vulnerability is fixed in 0.6.32.

AutoGPT is a platform that allows users to create, deploy, and manage continuous artificial intelligence agents that automate complex workflows. Prior to autogpt-platform-beta-v0.6.32, there is a DoS vulnerability in ReadRSSFeedBlock. In RSSBlock, feedparser.parser is called to obtain the XML file according to the URL input by the user, parse the XML, and finally obtain the parsed result. However, during the parsing process, there is no limit on the parsing time and the resources that can be allocated for parsing. When a malicious user lets RSSBlock parse a carefully constructed, deep XML, it will cause memory resources to be exhausted, eventually causing DoS. This issue has been patched in autogpt-platform-beta-v0.6.32.
