  • Oct 28, 2026Open Object provides an API and admin interface to manage objects and object types.CVE-2026-82411 · Other software · maykinmedia · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

Open Object provides an API and admin interface to manage objects and object types. From 2.4.3 until 2.5.1, 3.6.2, 4.0.2, and 4.1.1, a token scoped to read one ObjectType can read the full versioned record of an object of any other ObjectType via the history-detail endpoint `GET /api/v2/objects/{uuid}/{index}`. The `history_detail` action in `src/objects/api/v2/views.py` calls `self.get_queryset()` and `get_object_or_404` directly instead of `self.get_object()`, so `check_object_permissions` and the per-object check in `ObjectTypeBasedPermission.has_object_permission` are not invoked. The queryset's `filter_for_token` applies only to the list and search actions, while `ObjectTypeBasedPermission.has_permission` allows non-create actions, leaving neither check to constrain history-detail records to the token's permitted ObjectType. The normal retrieve endpoint returns 403 for the same unauthorized object, and the sibling history action enforces the grant. Any valid non-superuser API token with a read grant on at least one ObjectType can therefore disclose another ObjectType's complete versioned object `data`, which can include citizen or case records and sensitive identifiers in gove

  • Oct 28, 2026Apache Kafka Connect contains an authentication bypass vulnerability affecting the admin REST API when admin.listeners is configured with a separate listener frCVE-2026-115644 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.org

Apache Kafka Connect contains an authentication bypass vulnerability affecting the admin REST API when admin.listeners is configured with a separate listener from the main listeners property. When operators isolate the admin REST API by explicitly configuring the "admin.listeners" property, REST extensions specified via rest.extension.classes (such as BasicAuthSecurityRestExtension) are not registered or applied to the admin resource configuration. While the primary REST API listener (configured via listeners) enforces configured authentication and authorization filters, endpoints mounted under the separate admin listener (/admin/loggers) fail to inherit or instantiate these extension filters. As a result, the admin logger endpoint accepts unauthenticated read and write requests even when security extensions are active on the main listener. Impact: An unauthenticated attacker with network access to the admin listener can: 1. Read the complete set of logger names and levels, disclosing loaded class names and which security extensions are in use. 2. Write logger levels, including with scope=cluster which propagates the change to all workers in the Connect cluster. This can b

  • Oct 28, 2026Shopper is a Headless e-commerce Admin Panel.CVE-2026-56828 · Other software · shopperlabs · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

Shopper is a Headless e-commerce Admin Panel. From 2.8.0 until 2.8.1, three Shopper Livewire admin components retain authorization gaps after the earlier team-settings authorization fix. A staff member with only `view_users` and `access_dashboard` can mutate permissions, create an administrator, or delete roles. In `packages/admin/src/Livewire/Components/Settings/Team/Permissions.php`, `togglePermission` and `removePermission` authorize `view_users` rather than the stronger `access_setting` permission; `packages/admin/resources/views/livewire/components/settings/team/permissions.blade.php` exposes permission IDs in `wire:click` handlers. The attacker can grant arbitrary permissions to the bound role, including `access_setting` on the attacker's own role, or delete permission definitions. In `packages/admin/src/Livewire/SlideOvers/CreateTeamMember.php`, `mount()` and `store()` also accept `view_users`, and the client-selected `role_id` can identify the admin role, allowing creation of a pre-verified administrator with an attacker-chosen password. In `packages/admin/src/Livewire/Pages/Settings/Team/RolePermission.php`, `deleteAction` has no action authorization and is only conditione

  • Oct 27, 2026HomeBox is a home inventory and organization system.CVE-2026-116680 · Other software · sysadminsmedia · reported by GitHubMedium 6.4

HomeBox is a home inventory and organization system. Prior to version 0.27.0, Homebox validates generic notifier URLs with ValidateNotifierURL before creation, update, testing, and scheduled delivery, but shoutrrr sends the request through http.DefaultClient.Do without a CheckRedirect policy that revalidates each Location target. An authenticated collection member can configure a permitted notifier host that redirects to loopback, link-local, cloud metadata, or another blocked destination, causing the follow-up request to bypass the product's SSRF policy. The flaw is reachable through POST /api/v1/notifiers/test for immediate requests and through stored notifiers during scheduled maintenance delivery. This issue is fixed in version 0.27.0.

OpenRemote before 1.31.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability that allows realm admins to impersonate gateways in other realms because GatewayService only checks the gateway ID, not the realm. Attackers with WRITE:ADMIN in one realm can create a service user named after another realm's gateway ID to overwrite its descendant assets and open SSH tunnels into its local network.

  • Oct 23, 2026If an attacker can write to the filesystem of a container k8s cluster container, they can plant an exec credential plugin in /etc/kubernetes/admin.conf.CVE-2026-113951 · Computers, phones & browsers · Apple · reported by product-security@apple.com

If an attacker can write to the filesystem of a container k8s cluster container, they can plant an exec credential plugin in /etc/kubernetes/admin.conf. kubectl will run that plugin as the macOS host user the next time someone pulls the cluster's kubeconfig onto the host with container k8s write-config or create and then runs kubectl against it — turning filesystem access inside an untrusted Linux container into arbitrary command execution on the host. This vulnerability is addressed in Container version 1.5.0.

  • Oct 23, 2026A missing authorization vulnerability in Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) allows a delegated administrator with no explicit administrative grants to overwrite gCVE-2026-93639 · Email & office · Zimbra · reported by cve@rapid7.comHigh 8.7

A missing authorization vulnerability in Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) allows a delegated administrator with no explicit administrative grants to overwrite global Zimlet configuration through ConfigureZimletRequest. The uploaded configuration can also add an attacker-controlled domain to the proxy allowlist of the default class of service. If a signed-in user in that class opens a crafted /service/proxy URL, Zimbra serves attacker-controlled HTML under its own origin. The resulting JavaScript can read mailbox data and perform authenticated actions as the victim. Exploitation requires a delegated-administrator account and access to the admin SOAP service; the browser compromise additionally requires the victim to open the crafted URL. ZCS 10.1.16 and 10.1.20 are affected.

  • Oct 23, 2026The CustomerAdministration portal (KundenManager) of VertiGIS WebOrderSystem allows privileged users to search for employees across all defined companies (user CVE-2026-4951 · Other software · VertiGIS Ltd. · reported by 551230f0-3615-47bd-b7cc-93e92e730bbfMedium 5.1

The CustomerAdministration portal (KundenManager) of VertiGIS WebOrderSystem allows privileged users to search for employees across all defined companies (user groups). The search term can be passed in the "searchValue" URL parameter, so the search is performed when a logged-in user opens such a URL. JavaScript code placed in this parameter is executed in the victim's browser. An unauthenticated attacker who knows the URL structure can craft a link that contains script code. The code runs if a privileged user who is currently logged into the portal opens the link. Because administrative users can change the passwords of other users, including administrators, without entering the old password, an attacker may be able to take over accounts or lock out other users. Version 7.0.8.6, the latest available at the time of testing, is affected. The vendor did not provide information about further affected versions.

The CustomerAdministration portal (KundenManager) of VertiGIS WebOrderSystem allows privileged users to manage the employees of defined companies (user groups). User properties, for example the "secondName" parameter, can be filled with JavaScript code while editing a user. The code is stored and executed in the browser of any other privileged user who opens the edited user entry or the user overview of the corresponding user group. An authenticated attacker with access to the portal can use this to run script code in the session of other portal users. Version 7.0.8.6, the latest available at the time of testing, is affected.
