Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: qla2xxx: Unlink NVMe unsol ctx before freeing on LS reject error qla_nvme_xmt_ls_rspCVE-2026-97528 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: qla2xxx: Unlink NVMe unsol ctx before freeing on LS reject error qla_nvme_xmt_ls_rsp() obtains uctx, which was linked into fcport->unsol_ctx_head by qla2xxx_process_purls_iocb() and is still linked when the NVMe transport calls back to transmit the LS response. On the error (out:) path the function frees uctx with kfree() but never removes it from the list. This leaves a freed node in fcport->unsol_ctx_head: the next list_add_tail() for that fcport writes through the freed node, and a subsequent list_del() can corrupt the list or panic. Unlink uctx with list_del() before kfree() on the error path, matching the other free sites in qla_nvme_release_lsrsp_cmd_kref() and qla2xxx_process_purls_pkt(). qla2x00_rel_sp() in the failure path only returns the SRB to its pool and does not invoke sp->put_fn, so the out: path is the sole free and uctx is always still linked there.

Sep 25, 2026Link Library: Does not validate the destination of a user-supplied URL before falling back to an unprotected fetchCVE-2026-78397 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanMedium 4
The Link Library WordPress plugin before 7.9.6 does not validate the destination of a user-supplied URL before falling back to an unprotected fetch when its safe request is rejected, allowing unauthenticated visitors to make the site issue requests to hosts on its internal network and to learn from the response whether an internal service answered. Versions below 7.8.8 are covered by CVE-2025-68600; this entry covers 7.8.8 through 7.9.5, where that fix was incomplete. Exploitation requires the site owner to have published the Link Library WordPress plugin before 7.9.6's public link submission form with reciprocal-link validation enabled.

Sep 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hsr: broadcast netlink notifications in the device's net namespace The HSR generic netlinkCVE-2026-97419 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hsr: broadcast netlink notifications in the device's net namespace The HSR generic netlink family sets .netnsok = true. HSR devices can live in network namespaces other than init_net. Two async notifiers broadcast events with genlmsg_multicast(). They are hsr_nl_ringerror() and hsr_nl_nodedown(). That helper delivers only on the default genl socket in init_net. So the events always land in init_net. The network namespace of the device does not matter. This has two effects. A listener in the device's own namespace never sees its own ring error and node down events. A privileged listener in init_net receives events from HSR devices in other namespaces. The payload carries the peer node MAC (HSR_A_NODE_ADDR) and the slave port ifindex (HSR_A_IFINDEX). Switch both callers to genlmsg_multicast_netns(). Other families with .netnsok = true already do this. Examples are gtp, ovpn, team, batman-adv, netdev-genl, ethtool and handshake. hsr_nl_ringerror() already has the slave port. It uses dev_net(port->dev). hsr_nl_nodedown() takes the namespace from the master port via hsr_port_get_hsr().

Sep 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nfnetlink_log: wait for rcu grace period before freeing pernet state sashiko reCVE-2026-93288 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nfnetlink_log: wait for rcu grace period before freeing pernet state sashiko reports: "nfnl_log_net_exit() calls nf_log_unset(), which clears the logger pointer without an RCU grace period. Immediately after, ops_free_list() frees the per-net state while concurrent packets might still be executing nf_log_packet() under rcu_read_lock()." Clear the pointer via .pre_exit to make sure rcu readers have completed before pernet storage is free'd. The change in nf_log_syslog.c is only done for consistency: it doesn't use pernet data.

Sep 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: initialize DRC hash table before registering shrinker shrinker_register() precedes tCVE-2026-93211 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: initialize DRC hash table before registering shrinker shrinker_register() precedes the INIT_LIST_HEAD loop and the drc_hashsize store. On weakly-ordered architectures (arm64, ppc), a shrinker scan can observe drc_hashsize before the bucket list heads are initialized, causing a NULL deref in the DRC shrinker callback. Move bucket initialization and the drc_hashsize store before shrinker_register() so the hash table is fully initialized before it becomes visible to the shrinker.

Sep 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: kasan: fix cache shrink race with CPU hotplug kasan_quarantine_remove_cache() first invokeCVE-2026-93208 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: kasan: fix cache shrink race with CPU hotplug kasan_quarantine_remove_cache() first invokes per_cpu_remove_cache() on all online CPUs. Each callback moves objects belonging to the cache from cpu_quarantine to the CPU's shrink_qlist, where they can later be freed from task context. kmem_cache_destroy() invokes the quarantine removal path while holding cpus_read_lock(), but kmem_cache_shrink() does not. The latter can therefore race with CPU offlining as follows: kmem_cache_shrink() CPU hotplug ------------------- ----------- on_each_cpu() CPU1 moves objects to CPU1's shrink_qlist on_each_cpu() returns CPU1 goes offline kasan_cpu_offline() drains cpu_quarantine leaves shrink_qlist untouched for_each_online_cpu() skips CPU1 The objects left on CPU1's shrink_qlist are not returned to the slab allocator. This may prevent kmem_cache_shrink() from releasing slabs that would otherwise become empty. If CPU1 remains offline, a later

Sep 23, 2026Streamlink is a CLI utility which pipes video streams from various services into a video player.CVE-2026-92164 · Other software · streamlink · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
Streamlink is a CLI utility which pipes video streams from various services into a video player. Prior to 8.6.0, HTTPSession mounts a FileAdapter for the file scheme and inherits redirect handling from requests.Session without rejecting cross-protocol redirects. A remote server controlling an HTTP or HTTPS URL reached by Streamlink can return a redirect to a local file URL, causing HTTPSession to read the local file and return its contents to the response consumer. This bypasses the direct file URL checks added for HLS and DASH content because the manifest contains an ordinary network URL and the scheme transition occurs later during fetch handling. The flaw applies to every request made through HTTPSession, and a segment fetch can place the local file contents into stream output. This issue is fixed in version 8.6.0.

Improper link resolution before file access ('link following') vulnerability in the `tar` source plugin of Apache BuildStream running on Python < 3.12 allows malicious source tarballs to write files on the host, with the privileges of the user running BuildStream, via symlinks as part of source fetching. The impact of this issue is mitigated by: * BuildStream projects should only use trusted sources in their elements as otherwise the build output can also not be trusted * Tracking a source tarball pins its SHA256 hash, which prevents MITM attacks of users that are fetching an already tracked project * When running on Python >= 3.12, BuildStream >= 2.3.0 already makes use of the Python `tarfile` filter functionality, which blocks the symlink escape Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.8.1, which fixes this issue.

UrlUtil.getBaseUrl builds the absolute URLs in a response — download links, icons, asset and API URLs — from the X-Forwarded-Host, X-Forwarded-Proto and X-Forwarded-Prefix request headers, with no check on whether the sender was a trusted proxy, falling back to the client-supplied Host header. Those responses are cached under keys that do not include the host (extension.json since 0.6.0, namespace.details.json since 0.9.0, sitemap since 0.14.5, latest.extension.version.vscode since 0.34.2). A single request carrying a forged header therefore places attacker-chosen URLs into an entry served to every other client for the lifetime of that entry — one hour by default, and cluster-wide where ovsx.redis.enabled is set. The VSIX download URL, its signature URL and the public key URL are all derived from the same base URL, so extension signing does not limit the impact: an attacker who poisons an entry supplies the

Sep 17, 2026Grafana OSS and Grafana Enterprise did not safely resolve symbolic links when extracting plugin archives.CVE-2026-15815 · Other software · Grafana · reported by security@grafana.comHigh 8.8
Grafana OSS and Grafana Enterprise did not safely resolve symbolic links when extracting plugin archives. A crafted plugin archive can chain relative symbolic link entries to escape the plugin installation directory, writing arbitrary files and an executable backend binary outside that directory. The dropped executable runs with the privileges of the Grafana server process, resulting in remote code execution. Plugin archives are extracted before their signature is verified, so a valid plugin signature does not prevent the write. An operator can therefore be affected by installing a plugin that appears legitimate, as well as by installing a plugin from an arbitrary archive using grafana-cli, the GF_INSTALL_PLUGINS environment variable, or preinstall configuration. Grafana Enterprise is affected because it includes the same plugin extraction code as Grafana OSS.

Sep 17, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rpmsg: glink: fix deadlock in endpoint destroy during driver detach During driver detach, CVE-2026-93098 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rpmsg: glink: fix deadlock in endpoint destroy during driver detach During driver detach, the device core holds the device mutex throughout the driver's remove callback chain. When the rpmsg endpoint is destroyed as part of that teardown, the GLINK endpoint destroy implementation attempts to unregister the underlying rpmsg device. That unregistration calls device_del(), which tries to re-acquire the same device mutex already held higher up the stack, causing rmmod to hang indefinitely. The deadlock manifests with the following call chain: [<0>] device_del+0x44/0x414 <- tries to acquire same mutex [<0>] device_unregister+0x18/0x34 [<0>] rpmsg_unregister_device+0x28/0x4c [<0>] qcom_glink_remove_rpmsg_device+0x70/0xc0 [<0>] qcom_glink_destroy_ept+0x58/0xbc [<0>] rpmsg_dev_remove+0x50/0x60 [<0>] device_remove+0x4c/0x80 [<0>] device_release_driver_internal+0x1cc/0x228 <- acquires device mutex [<0>] driver_detach+0x4c/0x98 [<0>] bus_remove_driver+0x6c/0xbc [<0>] driver_unregister+0x30/0x60 [<0>] unregister_rpmsg_driver+0x10/0x1c [<0>] fastrpc_exit+0x28/0x38 [fastrpc] [<0>] __arm64_sys_delete_module+0x1b8/0x294 [<0

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath12k: fix dp_link_peer dangling references on AP vdev rollback ath12k_mac_vdev_create() for an AP vdev creates the bss self-peer via ath12k_peer_create(), which finishes by calling ath12k_dp_link_peer_assign() to publish the dp_link_peer in the dp_hw->dp_peers[peerid_index] RCU table, in the dp_peer's link_peers[] array, and in the per-addr rhashtable. If a step after ath12k_peer_create() fails the function jumps to err_peer_del, which open-codes a WMI peer_delete and waits for the unmap / delete_resp events. The wait_for_peer_delete_done() path relies on ath12k_dp_link_peer_unmap_event() freeing the dp_link_peer when the unmap arrives, but err_peer_del never calls ath12k_dp_link_peer_unassign() first. The published references in the dp_hw RCU table, dp_peer->link_peers[] and the rhashtable are left pointing at the dp_link_peer that unmap_event then frees, producing dangling pointers and use-after-free on subsequent lookups. Replace the open-coded sequence with a call to ath12k_peer_delete(), which already does ath12k_dp_link_peer_unassign() before sending the WMI command. This drops the published refer

Sep 17, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: meson: Keep link pointers valid on realloc failure meson_card_reallocate_links() groCVE-2026-93039 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.4
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: meson: Keep link pointers valid on realloc failure meson_card_reallocate_links() grows the DAI link and private data arrays with two consecutive krealloc() calls and updates the owner pointers only after both calls have succeeded. A successful krealloc() may move the data: it frees the old block and returns a new one. When that happens for the link array and the second krealloc() then fails, card->dai_link still points to the block that krealloc() already freed, and the error path frees the new block too. The probe error path then calls meson_card_clean_references(), which dereferences card->dai_link and kfree()s it again, resulting in a use-after-free and a double free. Commit card->dai_link and card->num_links right after the first krealloc() succeeds, so the pointer always refers to a valid allocation that meson_card_clean_references() can walk and free. krealloc() with __GFP_ZERO zero-initializes the added entries, so walking them on the error path is safe. With both failure paths reduced to a plain return, drop the goto labels and the error message.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/core: Fix use after free in ib_query_qp() When querying a QP via the netlink flow the only synchronization mechanism for the said QP is rdma_restrack_get(), meanwhile during the QP destroy path rdma_restrack_del() is called at the end of the ib_destroy_qp_user() function which is too late, since by then the vendor specific resources for said QP would already be destroyed, and till the rdma_restrack_del() is called this QP can still be accessed, which could cause the use after free below. Fix this by moving the rdma_restrack_begin_del() to the start of the ib_destroy_qp_user(), which in turn waits for all usages of the QP to be done then removes it from the database to prevent access to it while it is being destroyed. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix potential UAF in bpf_netns_link_update_prog In bpf_netns_link_update_prog, the checks for old_prog and prog type are currently performed locklessly before acquiring netns_bpf_mutex. This creates a race condition that can lead to a UAF issue. If two threads concurrently execute BPF_LINK_UPDATE on the same netns link, the following execution path can trigger a UAF: CPU0 CPU1 bpf_netns_link_update_prog if (old_prog && old_prog != link->prog) return -EPERM; bpf_netns_link_update_prog if (old_prog && old_prog != link->prog) ... old_prog = xchg(&link->prog, new_prog); bpf_prog_put(old_prog); if (new_prog->type != link->prog->type) <-- trigger UAF Fix this by moving the old_prog and prog->type checks inside the netns_bpf_mutex critical section. Meanwhile, use guard() to simplify lock management and avoid all the goto jumping.
