  • Oct 15, 2026Improper Validation of Syntactic Correctness of Input vulnerability in mtrudel bandit allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to set conn.host and conn.port tCVE-2026-105660 · Other software · mtrudel · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 6.9

Improper Validation of Syntactic Correctness of Input vulnerability in mtrudel bandit allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to set conn.host and conn.port to values outside the RFC 3986 host grammar via the authority of an HTTP/1 absolute-form or authority-form request target. Bandit validates the Host header and answers 400 when it is malformed, but when the request target carries its own authority that authority takes precedence, as RFC 9112 requires, and Bandit.Pipeline.determine_host_and_port!/4 in lib/bandit/pipeline.ex passes it to the application unchecked. A request line such as GET http://good.example@evil.example/x HTTP/1.1 with a valid Host header yields a conn.host of good.example@evil.example, and the same path admits NUL, DEL and non-ASCII bytes, invalid IP literals and ports outside 1..65535. The HTTP/1.0 clause needs no Host header at all, and CONNECT places the unparsed port string in conn.port. Applications that build absolute URLs from conn.host, such as through Plug.Conn.request_url/1 or Phoenix URL helpers, emit links whose authority the attacker chose. Message framing is unaffected, and no CR or LF can reach conn.host. This issue affects bandit: from 0.6

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv4: validate checksum_start before completing checksum If a packet with bad checksum metadata gets into the ipv4 stack, skb_checksum_help can corrupt the network header and cause a bunch of mischief. This was discovered and reported by Paulos, and has been reporoduced by others independently since. We really shouldn't allow such packets in, but as a defence in depth measure, let's also check before we complete the checksum. • Oct 15, 2026Authentication bypass vulnerability in Stela, versions prior to 1.60.1, due to the use of a cookie named “authProcess” without validating its integrity.CVE-2026-101287 · Other software · Diaple · reported by cve-coordination@incibe.esCritical 9.3

Authentication bypass vulnerability in Stela, versions prior to 1.60.1, due to the use of a cookie named “authProcess” without validating its integrity. The application stores the user identifier (userId) and the status of the authentication process (validSteps) in this cookie and relies on these values—which can be modified by the client—to complete the login process. A remote attacker, without valid credentials or interaction from other users, could manipulate the cookie to bypass authentication checks and impersonate any account, including one with SUPER_ADMIN privileges. This would allow the attacker to obtain a valid JWT token with administrative privileges and compromise the confidentiality and integrity of the application.

  • Oct 15, 2026In DragonFly BSD through 6.4.2 before 4bb22ff, the ARP input handlers arpintr() and in_arpinput() (sys/netinet/if_ether.c) do not validate the hardware address CVE-2026-110912 · Other software · DragonFlyBSD · reported by MITREHigh 7.1

In DragonFly BSD through 6.4.2 before 4bb22ff, the ARP input handlers arpintr() and in_arpinput() (sys/netinet/if_ether.c) do not validate the hardware address length (ar_hln) and protocol address length (ar_pln) fields of incoming ARP packets. in_arpreply() then uses these attacker-controlled values as memcpy lengths when copying from kernel buffers that are only 6 and 4 bytes long, resulting in an out-of-bounds read of kernel heap and stack memory that is copied into the ARP reply sent back to the requester. An unauthenticated attacker on the adjacent network can use a single crafted ARP request to disclose up to roughly 250 bytes of each type of kernel memory, including kernel pointers. This is expected to be fixed in the 6.6 stable release when that is available.

  • Oct 14, 2026IntentKit through 2.6.3, fixed in commit 5b91da5, contains an authorization bypass vulnerability where the executor validates tool calls against the full tool rCVE-2026-76066 · Other software · crestalnetwork · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7

IntentKit through 2.6.3, fixed in commit 5b91da5, contains an authorization bypass vulnerability where the executor validates tool calls against the full tool registry rather than the per-request narrowed tool advertisement enforced by ToolBindingMiddleware, allowing owner-only state-changing tools such as wallet transfer, posting, memory-write, and call-agent to execute without any human-in-the-loop or approval gate. An unauthenticated or public caller in WEB, API, TWITTER, or TELEGRAM contexts can exploit this by supplying the exact de-advertised tool name and arguments via indirect prompt injection or by replaying checkpoint and history data on a reused thread, achieving unauthorized execution of owner-restricted capabilities.

  • Oct 14, 2026Improper Validation of Consistency within Input vulnerability in Erlang OTP ssl (tls_handshake_1_3, ssl_handshake and tls_client_ticket_store modules) allows a CVE-2026-94200 · Other software · Erlang · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbHigh 8.2

Improper Validation of Consistency within Input vulnerability in Erlang OTP ssl (tls_handshake_1_3, ssl_handshake and tls_client_ticket_store modules) allows a malicious TLS 1.3 server to cause a denial of service of the ssl application on the client node. The TLS 1.3 client decodes the extensions of a NewSessionTicket message as if they came from EncryptedExtensions. It therefore accepts a 0-length early_data extension, a form that is only valid in ClientHello and EncryptedExtensions. With {session_tickets, auto}, the client stores the ticket in the node-global tls_client_ticket_store. On the next automatic resumption, tls_handshake_1_3:get_max_early_data/1 crashes the store with a case_clause. Repeated crashes can exceed the restart intensity of the ssl supervisors, which use the rest_for_one strategy, and take down ssl for all connections on the node. This issue affects OTP from OTP 23.3 before OTP 27.3.4.19, OTP 28.5.0.8, and OTP 29.1.2, corresponding to ssl from 10.3 before 11.2.12.14, 11.6.0.7, and 11.7.8.

  • Oct 14, 2026The CC1200 sub-GHz IEEE 802.15.4 driver takes the PHY packet length from the first byte of the radio's RX FIFO in get_packet_length() and validates it in verifyCVE-2026-75084 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 6.8

The CC1200 sub-GHz IEEE 802.15.4 driver takes the PHY packet length from the first byte of the radio's RX FIFO in get_packet_length() and validates it in verify_rxfifo_validity() (drivers/ieee802154/ieee802154_cc1200.c). That validation only enforced a lower bound (pkt_len < 3); its second clause rejects a FIFO that holds more bytes than declared and therefore never bounds large values. Because the driver configures the radio for variable packet length with PKT_LEN = 0xFF, the length byte is an over-the-air value of 0-255 that reached net_pkt_rx_alloc_with_buffer() and the subsequent SPI burst read unclamped. An unauthenticated attacker within radio range can transmit a frame that presents a length byte above the IEEE 802.15.4 maximum of 127 while the chip's 128-byte RX FIFO has not overflowed, so the driver's RX_FIFO_ERROR pre-check does not fire. Reaching this state depends on RF framing and timing, since the RX thread is driven off the PKT_SYNC_RXTX signal and may sample the FIFO before a packet is complete; no pairing, authentication, or user interaction is required. ethernet_recv() in subsys/net/l2/ethernet/ethernet.c validates only that the first net_buf of a received frame holds a plain 14-byte struct net_eth_hdr. When the ethertype is 0x8100 and VLAN is enabled on the interface, the same buffer is reinterpreted as the 18-byte struct net_eth_vlan_hdr without re-checking the length: the VLAN TCI and the inner ethertype are read from offsets 14..17, past pkt->buffer->len, and hdr_len is raised to 18 so the subsequent net_buf_pull() removes more bytes than the buffer holds. A single unauthenticated frame of 14 to 17 bytes carrying the VLAN ethertype triggers this. No knowledge of the node's VLAN configuration is needed: net_eth_get_vlan_iface() returns the base interface for the priority tag 0, and a broadcast destination address satisfies the "frame is for me" test, so a 16-byte broadcast frame with ethertype 0x8100 and TCI 0x0000 reaches the pull. Nothing in the receive path enforces the 60-byte Ethernet minimum — the USB CDC ECM and CDC NCM gadget classes in particular hand host-supplied frames of any non-zero length straight to net_recv_data(). With assertions enabled, net_buf_simple_pull() asserts and the node panics. In a production bui

  • Oct 14, 2026Improper Certificate Validation vulnerability in the ssl application in Erlang/OTP allows a client that holds a certificate trusted by one SNI virtual host to aCVE-2026-105236 · Other software · Erlang · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 6.3

Improper Certificate Validation vulnerability in the ssl application in Erlang/OTP allows a client that holds a certificate trusted by one SNI virtual host to authenticate to a second SNI virtual host on the same listener by resuming its TLS 1.2 session there. A server that serves several SNI names from one listen socket through sni_fun or sni_hosts keeps one pre-TLS 1.3 session cache per listener and does not bind a cached session to the SNI name or client trust policy that established it. When an SNI option set switches to verify_peer without naming reuse_sessions, ssl_config:update_options/3 inherits the base listener's reuse_sessions value of true, so the default that disables reuse for client-authenticating servers does not apply. On an abbreviated handshake ssl_session:is_resumable/4 checks only that the cached session uses one of the current server certificates and carries some peer certificate, and never revalidates that certificate against the CA selected for the requested name. The names must share a server certificate, which is common with wildcard or multi-SAN certificates. TLS 1.3 does not use this cache and is not affected. This issue affects OTP from OTP 18.0 befor

An Improper Validation of Syntactic Correctness of Input vulnerability in the VPN daemon of Juniper Networks Junos OS on SRX Series allows an authenticated, network-based attacker to take complete control of the device. If an SRX device configured for AutoDiscovery VPN (ADVPN) receives a message from a peer that contains one or more specifically malformed attributes, this will cause a buffer overflow, which can allow remote code execution and therefore allow an attacker to take complete control of the device. To be able to carry out this attack an attacker must either have acquired the shared secret to impersonate a peer or have compromised an existing one, so this attack is considerably difficult. This issue affects Junos OS on SRX Series: * All versions before 23.2R2-S7.7; * from 23.4 before 23.4R2-S7; * from 24.2 before 24.2R2-S4; * from 24.4 before 24.4R2-S3; * from 25.2 before 25.2R2; * from 25.4 before 25.4R1-S3.

Dell Terraform Provider for Redfish, versions prior to 1.6.2, contains an Improper Certificate Validation vulnerability in the HTTP transport component. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to information exposure and unauthorized access. This is a Critical severity vulnerability as it allows an unauthenticated attacker to intercept all Redfish BMC traffic including credentials by performing a man-in-the-middle attack, since TLS certificate verification is unconditionally disabled in the base HTTP transport. Dell recommends customers to upgrade at the earliest opportunity.
