vm2 versions 3.11.3 through 3.11.6 expose the host process's real https.globalAgent to sandboxed code when a NodeVM is explicitly configured to allow require('https'). The builtin loader wraps host modules in a read-only proxy, but method calls such as Agent.prototype.on() are forwarded to the underlying host object, so sandbox code can register a listener for the agent's 'free' event. When an unrelated host HTTPS request releases a pooled connection, the listener receives the live host request options and the host TLSSocket, allowing sandboxed code to read the host's Authorization header and private destination host/port, attach a data listener to the released socket and read subsequent host response bodies in plaintext, and issue attacker-chosen authenticated requests using the stolen credentials. The issue is fixed in 3.11.7.

Use of HTTP Request With Sensitive Query String vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthenticationPhoenix allows someone able to read access logs, proxy logs or browser history to recover a single-use sign-in token and authenticate as its owner. After a successful password sign-in, AshAuthentication.Phoenix.Components.Password.SignInForm builds the sign_in_with_token path with the freshly issued user.__metadata__.token as a query parameter and redirects the browser to it with a GET. The token therefore travels in the request line, where web servers, reverse proxies, request telemetry and the browser's own history record it, all of which outlive the request and are ordinarily less protected than session storage. The redirect destination is restricted to a local path, so this is not an open redirect; the exposure is the retention of a live credential. This issue affects ash_authentication_phoenix: from 1.7.0 before 2.17.4 and from 3.0.0-rc.0 before 3.0.0-rc.11; ash_authentication: from 3.10.5 before 4.15.0 and from 5.0.0-rc.0 before 5.0.0-rc.14.

Apache NiFi 2.11.0 disabled support for gzip-encoded HTTP requests for the application REST API and rejected requests that included the standard Content-Encoding header indicating gzip encoding. The framework enforcement filter did not check multiple instances of the Content-Encoding header and did not reject non-standard identifiers for gzip encoding, allowing a malicious client to send crafted requests that could consume excessive amounts of memory. Upgrading to Apache NiFi 2.12.0 is the recommended mitigation, which disables decompression of gzip-encoded HTTP requests regardless of header number or encoding identifiers.

  • Sep 16, 2026Skipper is an HTTP router and reverse proxy for service composition.CVE-2026-86043 · Other software · zalando · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Skipper is an HTTP router and reverse proxy for service composition. Prior to version 0.27.37, the opaAuthorizeRequestWithBody filter can authorize an oversized request after Skipper truncates the body presented to Open Policy Agent because the input.truncated_body signal is derived from Content-Length rather than the actual read result. In filters/openpolicyagent/openpolicyagent.go, ExtractHttpBodyOptionally truncates bodies at maxBodyBytes, while filters/openpolicyagent/internal/envoy/skipperadapter.go copies the request headers without adding a Content-Length value that reflects the truncation. For an HTTP/1.1 request using Transfer-Encoding: chunked or an HTTP/2 request without Content-Length, a body-inspecting policy that follows the prior mitigation and permits input.truncated_body equal to false can evaluate only the truncated prefix, allow the request, and then forward the full oversized body to the protected upstream. This residual issue is distinct from CVE-2026-50197. This issue is fixed in version 0.27.37.

  • Sep 16, 2026react/http is an event-driven, streaming HTTP client and server implementation for ReactPHP.CVE-2026-84997 · Other software · reactphp · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

react/http is an event-driven, streaming HTTP client and server implementation for ReactPHP. From 0.6.0 until 1.11.1, React\Http\Io\ChunkedDecoder could enter an infinite loop while processing a malformed Transfer-Encoding: chunked body because handleData required its buffer to shrink on every iteration. An incomplete terminal-chunk trailer without CRLF left the buffer unchanged after strpos returned false, and exactly two non-CRLF bytes after a completed non-terminal chunk bypassed both the error and wait guards. The affected decoder processes request bodies for React\Http\HttpServer and response bodies for React\Http\Browser, allowing a malicious client to freeze a server or a malicious or compromised server to freeze a client. A reverse proxy that normalizes inbound requests may protect the server direction but does not protect outbound Browser requests. This issue is fixed in version 1.11.1.

  • Sep 16, 2026Use of Cache Containing Sensitive Information in ZenHive mpp allows a shared HTTP cache to store a paid response and serve it to clients that never paid.CVE-2026-89186 · Other software · ZenHive · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 6.3

Use of Cache Containing Sensitive Information in ZenHive mpp allows a shared HTTP cache to store a paid response and serve it to clients that never paid. MPP.Plug.verify_credential in lib/mpp/plug.ex sets payment-receipt and cache-control: private on the connection before the wrapped application runs, and registers no register_before_send/2 callback. Plug.Conn.put_resp_header/3 replaces an existing header, so a mounting application that sets its own cache-control on the paid resource (for example public, max-age=3600) silently overrides the private the library relies on, and a CDN or reverse proxy can then store the paid 200 together with its Payment-Receipt and serve both to unpaid clients. The library-level guarantee is therefore defeatable by the application it protects. For the same reason a downstream non-2xx response still carried Payment-Receipt, issuing a receipt for a response that delivered no resource. This issue affects mpp: from 0.1.0 before 0.16.2.

NLnet Labs Unbound 1.12.0 up to and including 1.26.0 has a use-after-free vulnerability when compiled for DNS-over-HTTPs support with '--with-libnghttp2'. During failure code paths (i.e., RPZ drop query, jostle due to heavy traffic), a dropped DoH stream brings down the whole DoH session and does not account properly for other DoH streams in the same session. This leads to use-after-free in those code paths. If the prerequisites are satisfied (possible RPZ drop or heavy client traffic), a malicious actor can trigger the vulnerability with a single DoH connection and the appropriate traffic. Impact is limited as the reads are not user controlled and the use-after-free leads to early returns. However, a hardened allocator can catch the use-after-free and controllably terminate the process resulting to denial of service.

Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services. Prior to 0.23.37 and 1.0.0-M48, Ember’s HTTP/2 read loop parses a frame’s 24-bit declared length but waits to buffer the entire payload before comparing it with SETTINGS_MAX_FRAME_SIZE. An unauthenticated peer can declare a payload near 16 MiB on a connection where Ember advertised 16 KiB and either complete or slowly stream it, causing up to 1024-fold memory amplification per connection before processFrame can reject the frame. Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services. Prior to 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47, When Ember receives an HTTP/2 HEADERS or PUSH_PROMISE frame without END_HEADERS, H2Connection buffers the header block and subsequent CONTINUATION fragments without a size bound. Prior to 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47, Ember’s HTTP/1.1 parser accepts differing duplicate Content-Length headers and uses the last value instead of rejecting the message. Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services. Prior to 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47, Ember’s HeaderP.parse uses a case-sensitive substring test for the Transfer-Encoding value and decodes header bytes with the platform default charset. Values such as Chunked are not recognized, values such as notchunked are incorrectly accepted, and Unicode case folding can turn a Kelvin-sign byte sequence into a match when UTF-8 is used. Intermediaries that apply RFC-compliant token and charset rules can therefore disagree with Ember’s Content-Length or zero-length framing, enabling TE.CL or TE.0 request smuggling, access-control bypass, cross-user request hijacking, and cache poisoning on the server path. Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services. Prior to 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47, The CookieJar client middleware stores a response cookie’s Domain attribute without checking that it domain-matches the host that supplied the cookie or rejecting public suffixes. A malicious or compromised server contacted through the same CookieJar can plant a cookie for another domain, and the jar later sends that cookie to the victim domain, enabling session fixation or overwriting security-sensitive cookies. The patch validates the Set-Cookie domain against the response origin, although public-suffix rejection remains unimplemented. This issue is fixed in versions 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47.

  • Sep 15, 2026Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services.CVE-2026-69213 · Other software · http4s · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services. Prior to 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47, Ember HTTP/2 serializes outbound frames through one unbounded queue consumed by writeLoop. When the peer stops reading, an unauthenticated HTTP/2 client can continue sending PING, SETTINGS, or DATA frames that cause Ember to enqueue acknowledgments or WINDOW_UPDATE frames faster than the writer drains them, exhausting heap memory on a server built with withHttp2. The shared behavior also affects an ember-client connected to a hostile HTTP/2 server, and the patch replaces the unbounded path with bounded, backpressured outbound queues. This issue is fixed in versions 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47.

Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services. Prior to 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47, The FollowRedirect client middleware strips Authorization and Cookie headers only when a redirect changes authority, but authority comparison excludes the URI scheme. A same-authority redirect from HTTPS to HTTP therefore preserves credentials and transmits them over a plaintext connection. An attacker who can induce the downgrade and observe the network can capture those sensitive headers from applications using FollowRedirect. This issue is fixed in versions 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47.

  • Sep 15, 2026Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services.CVE-2026-69211 · Other software · http4s · reported by GitHubMedium 4.8

Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services. Prior to 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47, ResponseCookie.render writes attacker-influenced name, content, domain, path, and extension values without neutralizing semicolons or control characters. An application that constructs a ResponseCookie from unvalidated input can therefore emit injected cookie attributes such as Domain, Path, or SameSite, widening cookie scope or weakening protections, and control characters may enable header splitting on permissive backends. The patch strips control characters from all five fields and strips semicolons from name, content, domain, and path while retaining the extension delimiter behavior. This issue is fixed in versions 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47.

Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services. Prior to 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47, The shared WebSocket decoder permits unbounded message buffering because defragmentation accumulates fragments without a limit and FrameTranscoder accepts declared lengths up to Int.MaxValue. A remote client that completes a WebSocket handshake against an http4s-blaze-server or http4s-ember-server endpoint can exhaust server memory with oversized frames or fragmented messages. The patched decoder applies a configurable 64 MiB default limit to individual frames and defragmented messages through EmberServerBuilder.withMaxWebSocketMessageSize. This issue is fixed in versions 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47.

Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services. Prior to 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47, the DigestAuth server middleware removes fresh nonces and stops eviction at the first stale nonce because its stale-nonce comparison is inverted. On an application that protects at least one route with DigestAuth, an unauthenticated attacker can repeatedly trigger authentication challenges, causing the persistent nonce map to grow until the JVM exhausts heap memory. This issue is fixed in versions 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47.

  • Sep 15, 2026Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services.CVE-2026-69204 · Other software · http4s · reported by GitHubCritical 9.2

Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services. Prior to 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47, Ember HTTP/1.1 does not reject messages containing both Transfer-Encoding and Content-Length, so an intermediary and Ember can select different body framing rules. When ember-server is behind a keep-alive intermediary that forwards both headers and frames by Content-Length, an unauthenticated attacker can smuggle a second request, bypass intermediary access controls, poison caches, or cause a victim request to be joined to an attacker-controlled prefix. The shared response parser can also desynchronize an ember-client connection when a malicious or compromised upstream sends both headers. This issue is fixed in versions 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47.

Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services. Prior to 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47, ResourceService and WebjarService decode each URL path segment but reject only segments exactly equal to an empty string, a dot, or two dots. A request containing percent-encoded slash or backslash separators can turn an accepted segment into a parent-directory traversal after decoding, allowing access to classpath or WebJar resources outside the configured base when a directory-backed classpath is served and the backend preserves the encoded separator. The patch rejects decoded segments containing slash or backslash in ResourceService and WebjarService, and applies the same guard to the non-exploitable FileService for consistency. This issue is fixed in versions 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47.

libwebsockets HTTP/2 HPACK Path Header Parsing Out-Of-Bounds Write Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of libwebsockets. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the parsing of HTTP/2 HPACK path header. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a write past the end of an allocated buffer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-31036.

  • Sep 15, 2026netty-incubator-codec-ohttp implements Oblivious HTTP (OHTTP) gateway and client functionality using Netty.CVE-2026-54251 · Other software · netty · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7

netty-incubator-codec-ohttp implements Oblivious HTTP (OHTTP) gateway and client functionality using Netty. Prior to 0.0.23.Final, the OHTTP gateway decryption path in codec-ohttp/src/main/java/io/netty/incubator/codec/ohttp/OHttpRequestResponseContext.java allocates a pooled direct ByteBuf for decrypted plaintext before the AEAD tag is verified. When an invalid tag causes decryptChunk() to throw CryptoException, OHttpRequestResponseContext.decodeChunk() does not release the ByteBuf because the allocation is not guarded by try/finally. Repeated invalid encrypted requests can therefore leak native off-heap memory until the gateway is unable to continue serving requests. This issue is fixed in version 0.0.23.Final.

webhookd is a minimalist webhook server that triggers shell scripts and external processes through HTTP requests. Prior to 1.22.0, webhookd deployments without htpasswd authentication forwarded all incoming HTTP headers through HTTPParamsToShellVars in pkg/api/index.go into the hook script environment without an allowlist. When an upstream reverse proxy did not strip a client-supplied X-WebAuthn-User header and a hook script trusted that variable for identity or privilege, a remote unauthenticated attacker could spoof another user, bypass script security controls, and access or modify resources available to the impersonated identity. NGINX Plus and NGINX Open Source have a vulnerability in the ngx_http_v3_module module. When using HTTP/3 with OpenSSL versions <= OpenSSL 3.5.0 under certain configurations, a limited heap buffer overflow could happen while processing a TLS handshake. This can happen in a non-deterministic manner that is beyond the attacker's control. This may cause a heap buffer overflow in the NGINX worker process leading to a restart and/or limited data corruption. Impact: This vulnerability may allow remote attackers to cause a denial-of-service (DoS) on the NGINX system or limited data corruption. There is no control plane exposure; this is a data plane issue only. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated.
