  • Sep 15, 2026Payload Plugins is a collection of plugins designed to enhance Payload CMS.CVE-2026-59965 · Other software · jhb-software · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

Payload Plugins is a collection of plugins designed to enhance Payload CMS. In 0.7.0, @jhb.software/payload-alt-text-plugin exposes POST /api/alt-text-plugin/generate and POST /api/alt-text-plugin/bulk with a default guard that accepts any authenticated user, while alt-text/src/endpoints/generateAltText.ts and alt-text/src/endpoints/bulkGenerateAltTexts.ts call req.payload.findByID and req.payload.update without overrideAccess: false. Payload therefore defaults overrideAccess to true and skips the target collection's read and update access functions. An authenticated low-privilege user can supply id, collection, locale, and update values to read arbitrary protected upload documents and overwrite their alt and keywords fields, even when the collection permits those operations only to administrators. A control Local API call with overrideAccess: false is denied, confirming that the plugin endpoint bypasses otherwise effective collection rules. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.8.0.

  • Sep 15, 2026fluent-plugin-opentelemetry is a Fluentd input and output plugin for forwarding OpenTelemetry Protocol data.CVE-2026-44163 · Other software · fluent-plugins-nursery · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

fluent-plugin-opentelemetry is a Fluentd input and output plugin for forwarding OpenTelemetry Protocol data. Prior to 0.5.3, the in_opentelemetry HTTP input read the entire incoming request body and decompressed payloads into memory without enforcing maximum size thresholds. When an OpenTelemetry ingestion endpoint was exposed to an untrusted network, an attacker could send an excessively large request or a highly compressed payload that expanded in memory. The resulting memory exhaustion could cause the operating system to terminate the Fluentd process, disrupting all log collection and forwarding on the affected node. This issue is fixed in version 0.5.3.

  • Sep 14, 2026fluent-plugin-s3 is an Amazon S3 input and output plugin for Fluentd.CVE-2026-44162 · Other software · fluent · reported by GitHubLow 2.7

fluent-plugin-s3 is an Amazon S3 input and output plugin for Fluentd. From 0.7.0 to 1.8.4, the in_s3 input plugin reads the entire decompressed payload of gzip, lzma2, and lzop objects into memory without enforcing a decompression_size_limit. An attacker with permission to upload objects to the monitored S3 bucket can provide a highly compressed object that expands excessively when Fluentd processes it. The resulting memory exhaustion can cause the operating system to terminate the Fluentd process and disrupt all log collection on the affected node. This issue is fixed in version 1.8.5.

  • Sep 14, 2026A flaw was found in sssd, specifically within the PAM (Pluggable Authentication Modules) responder's protocol v1 parser, pam_parse_in_data().CVE-2026-90994 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 4

A flaw was found in sssd, specifically within the PAM (Pluggable Authentication Modules) responder's protocol v1 parser, pam_parse_in_data(). A local client with access to the PAM responder's UNIX socket can exploit this by negotiating protocol v1 and sending an empty or truncated PAM request body. This can trigger an out-of-bounds read, potentially causing the PAM responder to terminate or restart, leading to a local denial of service.

  • Sep 14, 2026The LdapAuth and LinOTPAuth authentication plugins in MISP contain an authentication bypass vulnerability.CVE-2026-90961 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Critical 9.3

The LdapAuth and LinOTPAuth authentication plugins in MISP contain an authentication bypass vulnerability. Both LdapAuthenticate and LinOTPAuthenticate replace CakePHP's FormAuthenticate class but fail to replicate its _checkFields() input validation guard. As a result, the email and password fields extracted from the login request are passed to downstream authentication logic without verifying that they are non-empty strings. In the LDAP authenticator, an empty or null password is forwarded to ldap_bind(). Per RFC 4513 section 5.1.2, a bind request with a valid DN and an empty password constitutes an unauthenticated bind, which many LDAP directory servers accept as successful. An attacker who knows any valid user email address in the directory can therefore authenticate as that user without possessing a password. Additionally, non-string values (null, false, arrays) are either coerced to empty strings by ldap_bind(), raise TypeErrors, or are misinterpreted as find conditions in _findUser(), all of which can lead to unintended authentication outcomes. In the LinOTP authenticator, the same missing guard allows non-string credentials to be concatenated into the LinOTP verification

  • Sep 14, 2026LangBot's plugin runtime (pip package langbot_plugin) through 0.4.17 starts a debug WebSocket server on 0.0.0.0:5401 (/plugin/ws) whose authentication is gated CVE-2026-90938 · Other software · langbot-app · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.8

LangBot's plugin runtime (pip package langbot_plugin) through 0.4.17 starts a debug WebSocket server on 0.0.0.0:5401 (/plugin/ws) whose authentication is gated on plugin_debug_key, which defaults to an empty string and is never set by the upstream repository, Docker image, or docker-compose (which additionally publishes port 5401 to the host); the key check is therefore skipped entirely. Any remote attacker able to reach the port can register an arbitrary "debug plugin" without credentials. Because events are broadcast to all initialized plugins without filtering, the attacker's plugin receives the full context of every IM message event (including private chats, message chains, and user/sender IDs in plaintext) and can inject forged replies, send messages as any configured bot, enumerate bot UUIDs, invoke configured LLM models, read knowledge-base contents, and register malicious tools that feed every user's LLM pipeline. Registering with "prod_mode": true causes later legitimate installations of a plugin with the same author/name to be rejected, resulting in persistent denial of service. No patched version was available at the time of publication.

Joomla Extension - joomshaper.com - Authenticated Privileged SQL Injection in the Content Plugin of SP Page Builder (Free and Pro) 5.2.1 - 6.9.0 - plgContentSppagebuilder::onContentAfterSave() read jform[attribs][sppagebuilder_article_id] from the request and concatenated it directly into the WHERE view_id = ... clause of a query against #__sppagebuilder without quoting or type casting. Joomla's ARRAY input filter does not sanitise element values, as InputFilter::clean() returns (array) $source with the elements untouched, so the entire payload could be delivered in a single POST field. The affected block also executed before the com_content.article context test, so it ran on every onContentAfterSave event regardless of which component triggered the save. An attacker could perform time-based blind SQL injection to read arbitrary database contents, including the #__users and #__session tables.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/cpum_cf: Handle CPU hotplug via prepare/dead callbacks The command 'perf stat -e cycles -- <command>' crashes the kernel when CPUs are hotplug added during that run. Root cause is the allocation of struct cpu_cf_events at first event initialization. The allocation is dynamic and the first event that has task context creates such a structure for each online CPU. This is not sufficient. CPUs may be offline during event creation and can be set online during the perf run time. For example commands # echo 0 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/online # perf stat -e cycles -i -- stress-ng -t10s --matrix X # sleep 1 # echo 1 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/online create an event for CPUs 0,2-X. Since the events are created with task-context, the scheduler will eventually schedule the program on CPU1. This CPU has not created and initialized any per CPU event infrastructure as that CPU was not online at the time of the perf invocation. Thus when the scheduler runs stress-ng on CPU1, the function cpumf_pmu_add() refers to a NULL pointer: struct cpu_cf_events *cpuhw = this_cpu_cfhw(); This function call is invoked

  • Sep 11, 2026Laci Synchroni is a decentralized mod and appearance sync server and plugin for Dalamud.CVE-2026-54047 · Other software · LaciSynchroni · reported by GitHubCritical 9.2

Laci Synchroni is a decentralized mod and appearance sync server and plugin for Dalamud. Versions of the backend prior to 1.2.3 have an improper authentication vulnerability in the application's OAuth2 login flow. The application relies on client-side state by trusting the `UID` field inside the `Authentications` object of a user's local `config.json` file. By manually editing this local file on their PC prior to logging in, a user can supply an arbitrary UID. Because the server fails to validate that the authenticated OAuth2 identity matches the requested UID, an attacker can fully impersonate any target user and perform actions on their behalf. This issue has been resolved in version 1.2.3. The patch modifies `AuthorizeOauthAsync` inside the `SecretKeyAuthenticatorService` to strictly bind the lookup of the requested User ID (`requestedUid`) to the record of the successfully authenticated identity (`primaryUid`). The server will no longer load or return session tokens for a requested UID unless it matches the verified, authenticated database record. No known workarounds are available.

WWBN AVideo at commit c3edcc274c389816d434acadac07ee78eaf330c1 and earlier contains an XML injection vulnerability in plugin/AD_Server/VMAP.php, which is reachable without authentication when the AD_Server plugin is enabled. The script emits Content-Type: application/xml and writes the timeOffset and idTag values returned by AD_Server::getVMAPSFromRequest() directly into VMAP attributes without encoding. Those values originate from the base64- and JSON-decoded $_REQUEST['vmaps'] parameter, which is not covered by $securityFilter in objects/security.php. A remote attacker can craft a vmaps value (containing a non-empty VAST.campaing entry) and induce a user to open the resulting VMAP URL or a video page using it, injecting arbitrary <vmap:AdBreak> and <vmap:AdTagURI>/AdSource nodes into the generated XML. The player's IMA path (afterVideoJS -> PlayerSkins::setIMAADTag) then requests the attacker-supplied ad URLs, resulting in ad injection and cross-origin requests from the victim's playback session. WWBN AVideo through commit c3edcc274c389816d434acadac07ee78eaf330c1 contains a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in plugin/Live/confirmLivePassword.php. The script interpolates the unauthenticated GET parameter u (which is not covered by $securityFilter) directly into an <img src="..."> attribute without URL- or HTML-encoding. A remote attacker can craft a link containing a double-quote character in u (with a non-empty key parameter and no valid c parameter) to close the src attribute and inject an additional tag with an onerror handler, executing arbitrary JavaScript in the site's origin in the browser of any user, including an administrator, who opens the link. No patched version was available at the time of the advisory.

  • Sep 11, 2026Woo PDF Invoice Builder plugin (also distributed as "PDF Builder for WooCommerce"): Insecure Direct Object ReferenceCVE-2026-11496 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5

The Woo PDF Invoice Builder plugin (also distributed as "PDF Builder for WooCommerce") for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 2.0.8. This is due to the InspectOrder() AJAX handler (woocommerce-pdf-invoice-ajax.php:513), registered on wp_ajax_rednao_wcpdfinv_inspect_order, performing no capability check and no nonce verification before loading an arbitrary order by the attacker-supplied 'OrderNumber' POST field and serializing its full WC_Order::get_data() and meta to the response. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access and above to read every WooCommerce order on the site — including billing/shipping address, email, phone number, payment method, gateway transaction ID, and order totals — by iterating order IDs.

  • Sep 10, 2026A flaw was found in GStreamer's gst-plugins-good isomp4 plugin.CVE-2026-88914 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 4.4

A flaw was found in GStreamer's gst-plugins-good isomp4 plugin. When processing a specially crafted MP4 or MOV file containing CEA-608 closed-caption data, an integer overflow in 32-bit unsigned arithmetic can bypass a bounds check in the caption parser. This leads to an out-of-bounds heap read of up to 244 bytes, which is then included in the downstream caption output. An attacker could exploit this by tricking a user into opening a malicious media file, potentially resulting in disclosure of adjacent heap memory or application crash.

A missing S3 bucket ownership verification in the AWS Security Agent plugin in Amazon aws-agents-for-devsecops before 1.1.0 might allow remote attackers to obtain the private source archive of a scanned workspace, including credentials and infrastructure state contained in that archive, via a pre-registered storage bucket whose name is derived from a publicly known account identifier. To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 1.1.0. Users should also verify that the scan output bucket in their account is owned by their own account, because upgrading does not release a bucket name that a third party has already registered.
