  • Mar 13, 2026Formidable Forms: A payment integrity bypassCVE-2026-2890 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The Formidable Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a payment integrity bypass in all versions up to, and including, 6.28. This is due to the Stripe Link return handler (`handle_one_time_stripe_link_return_url`) marking payment records as complete based solely on the Stripe PaymentIntent status without comparing the intent's charged amount against the expected payment amount, and the `verify_intent()` function validating only client secret ownership without binding intents to specific forms or actions. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to reuse a PaymentIntent from a completed low-value payment to mark a high-value payment as complete, effectively bypassing payment for goods or services.

The Contest Gallery – Upload & Vote Photos, Media, Sell with PayPal & Stripe plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to blind SQL Injection via the ‘cgLostPasswordEmail’ and the ’cgl_mail’ parameter in all versions up to, and including, 28.1.4 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This is due to the payment callback handler 'Return_from_ZarinPal_Gateway' failing to validate that the authority token provided in the callback URL belongs to the specific order being marked as paid. • Feb 14, 2026BlueSnap Payment Gateway for WooCommerce: Missing AuthorizationCVE-2026-0692 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The BlueSnap Payment Gateway for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in all versions up to, and including, 3.4.0. This is due to the plugin relying on WooCommerce's `WC_Geolocation::get_ip_address()` function to validate IPN requests, which trusts user-controllable headers like X-Real-IP and X-Forwarded-For to determine the client IP address. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to bypass IP allowlist restrictions by spoofing a whitelisted BlueSnap IP address and send forged IPN (Instant Payment Notification) data to manipulate order statuses (mark orders as paid, failed, refunded, or on-hold) without proper authorization.

    Product

  • Feb 4, 2026Xendit Payment: Unauthorized order status manipulationCVE-2025-14461 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The Xendit Payment plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized order status manipulation in all versions up to, and including, 6.0.2. This is due to the plugin exposing a publicly accessible WooCommerce API callback endpoint (`wc_xendit_callback`) that processes payment callbacks without any authentication or cryptographic verification that the requests originate from Xendit's payment gateway. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to mark any WooCommerce order as paid by sending a crafted POST request to the callback URL with a JSON body containing an `external_id` matching the order ID pattern and a `status` of 'PAID' or 'SETTLED', granted they can enumerate order IDs (which are sequential integers). This leads to orders being fraudulently marked as completed without any actual payment, resulting in financial loss and inventory depletion.

  • Jan 16, 2026Payment Button for PayPal: Unauthorized order creationCVE-2025-14463 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The Payment Button for PayPal plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized order creation in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.3.41. This is due to the plugin exposing a public AJAX endpoint (`wppaypalcheckout_ajax_process_order`) that processes checkout results without any authentication or server-side verification of the PayPal transaction. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to create arbitrary orders on the site with any chosen transaction ID, payment status, product name, amount, or customer information via direct POST requests to the AJAX endpoint, granted they can bypass basic parameter validation. If email sending is enabled, the plugin will also trigger purchase receipt emails to any email address supplied in the request, leading to order database corruption and unauthorized outgoing emails without any real PayPal transaction taking place.

  • Jan 16, 2026Cost Calculator Builder: Unauthenticated Payment Status BypassCVE-2025-14757 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The Cost Calculator Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Unauthenticated Payment Status Bypass in all versions up to, and including, 3.6.9 only when used in combination with Cost Calculator Builder PRO. This is due to the complete_payment AJAX action being registered via wp_ajax_nopriv, making it accessible to unauthenticated users, and the complete() function only verifying a nonce without checking user capabilities or order ownership. Since nonces are exposed to all visitors via window.ccb_nonces in the page source, any unauthenticated attacker can mark any order's payment status as "completed" without actual payment.
