Aug 28, 2026PowSyBl (Power System Blocks) is a framework to build power system oriented software.CVE-2026-55673 · Other software · powsybl · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
PowSyBl (Power System Blocks) is a framework to build power system oriented software. Prior to 7.2.2, UnixLocalCommandExecutor and WindowsLocalCommandExecutor concatenate command arguments and environment variables into strings interpreted through bash -c or cmd /c without sufficient escaping. Attacker-controlled values reaching UnixLocalCommandExecutor.execute, WindowsLocalCommandExecutor.execute, LocalComputationManager.execute, ParallelLoadFlowActionSimulator.run, ActionSimulatorTool.run, AmplModelRunner.run, or AmplModelRunner.runAsync can break out of the intended command and execute arbitrary shell commands as the JVM user. The affected itools paths include action-simulator with task-count, security-analysis with external, and dynamic-security-analysis. Downstream CLI tools, libraries, REST front ends, and multi-tenant grid-analysis services that forward less-trusted contingency identifiers or computation parameters into these APIs can expose the injection remotely. This issue is fixed in version 7.2.2.

Aug 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: power: supply: max17040: handle missing status supplier MAX17040 does not report charger sCVE-2026-80711 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: power: supply: max17040: handle missing status supplier MAX17040 does not report charger state itself, so the driver forwards POWER_SUPPLY_PROP_STATUS to a supplier power supply. If no supplier is registered, power_supply_get_property_from_supplier() returns -ENODEV and leaves the output value untouched. max17040_get_property() currently ignores that error and returns success, so userspace can read an uninitialized status value from the battery power supply. This happens on systems that use the fuel gauge without a charger supplier relationship in firmware. Return POWER_SUPPLY_STATUS_UNKNOWN when no supplier provides STATUS, and propagate other supplier lookup errors.

Aug 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tools/power/x86/intel-speed-select: Harden daemon pidfile open Avoid symlink-based pidfileCVE-2026-80663 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.1
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tools/power/x86/intel-speed-select: Harden daemon pidfile open Avoid symlink-based pidfile clobbering by opening the pidfile with O_NOFOLLOW and validating it with fstat() before locking/writing. The daemon currently uses a fixed pidfile path under /tmp. A local unprivileged user can pre-create a symlink at that path and cause a root-run daemon instance to write into an attacker-chosen file.

Aug 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: soc: xilinx: Fix race condition in event registration The zynqmp_power driver registers haCVE-2026-80655 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: soc: xilinx: Fix race condition in event registration The zynqmp_power driver registers handlers for suspend and subsystem restart events using register_event(). However, the work structures (zynqmp_pm_init_suspend_work and zynqmp_pm_init_restart_work) used by these handlers were allocated and initialized after the registration call. This created a race window where, if the firmware triggered an event immediately after registration but before allocation, the callback (suspend_event_callback or subsystem_restart_event_callback) would dereference a NULL pointer in work_pending(), leading to a crash. Fix this by allocating and initializing the work structures before registering the events.

Aug 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: powerpc/perf: fix preempt count underflow in fsl_emb_pmu_del fsl_emb_pmu_del() unconditionCVE-2026-80626 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: powerpc/perf: fix preempt count underflow in fsl_emb_pmu_del fsl_emb_pmu_del() unconditionally calls put_cpu_var(cpu_hw_events) at the 'out:' label, but only calls the matching get_cpu_var() after the 'i < 0' early-return check. When event->hw.idx is negative the function jumps to 'out:' without having taken get_cpu_var(), and the trailing put_cpu_var() then issues an unmatched preempt_enable(), underflowing preempt_count. On a CONFIG_PREEMPT=y kernel preempt_count would underflow and eventually present as a 'scheduling while atomic' BUG. Move put_cpu_var() to pair with get_cpu_var() so the percpu access is correctly bracketed and the 'out:' label only handles perf_pmu_enable.

Aug 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: coresight: ete: Always save state on power down System register ETMs and ETE are unlikely CVE-2026-80623 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: coresight: ete: Always save state on power down System register ETMs and ETE are unlikely to be preserved on CPU power down. The ETE DT binding also never documented "arm,coresight-loses-context-with-cpu" so nobody would have legitimately been able to use that binding to fix it and ACPI has no such binding at all. Fix it by hard coding the setting for sysreg ETMs (ETE is always sysreg) or ACPI boots. Use a local variable when setting up save_state so that it's immune to concurrent probing when devices have different configurations which is an issue with modifying the global. This fixes the following error when using Coresight with ACPI on the FVP which supports CPU PM: coresight ete0: External agent took claim tag WARNING: drivers/hwtracing/coresight/coresight-core.c:248 at coresight_disclaim_device_unlocked+0xe0/0xe8, CPU#0: perf/117

Aug 26, 2026SunEditor is a lightweight and powerful WYSIWYG editor in vanilla JavaScript with no dependencies.CVE-2026-54606 · Other software · JiHong88 · reported by GitHubHigh 8.5
SunEditor is a lightweight and powerful WYSIWYG editor in vanilla JavaScript with no dependencies. Prior to 3.1.4, the SunEditor Embed plugin in src/plugins/modal/embed.js parses attacker-controlled raw embed HTML with DOMParser and processes the resulting DOM nodes. When an external script element follows a valid iframe, the plugin recreates a script element from the attacker-controlled src attribute and appends it to the live DOM, causing JavaScript execution in the editor page. If an application stores or reflects SunEditor content without additional backend sanitization, an attacker who can submit embed HTML can trigger stored or reflected cross-site scripting when another user opens, previews, renders, or edits the content, enabling access to page data and account actions as the victim. This issue is fixed in version 3.1.4.

Aug 25, 2026djust provides Phoenix LiveView-style reactive server-side rendering for Django with Rust-powered performance.CVE-2026-55571 · Other software · djust-org · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2
djust provides Phoenix LiveView-style reactive server-side rendering for Django with Rust-powered performance. Prior to 1.0.4, LiveViewConsumer.handle_mount sends a `{"type":"navigate","to":...}` frame when login_required, permission_required, or a redirecting on_mount hook denies a LiveView mount, but returns without closing the WebSocket or clearing self.view_instance. A browser follows the redirect, but a raw WebSocket client can ignore it and retain the mounted socket. Because LiveViewConsumer.handle_event does not recheck authentication or authorization, the client can send `{"type":"event",...}` frames that invoke @event_handler methods without an authenticated session, including through handle_live_redirect_mount, enabling unauthorized sensitive reads or mutations. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.4.

An anonymous, unauthenticated user can submit Fluid template syntax in that field to execute arbitrary Fluid ViewHelpers leading to disclosure of server configuration, environment variables and application source, and potentially remote code execution. Exploitation requires only that a form field is configured as the sender_name field, a common and default-adjacent Powermail configuration. Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
