In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/sgx: Prevent attempts to reclaim poisoned pages TL;DR: SGX page reclaim touches the page to copy its contents to secondary storage. SGX instructions do not gracefully handle machine checks. Despite this, the existing SGX code will try to reclaim pages that it _knows_ are poisoned. Avoid even trying to reclaim poisoned pages. The longer story: Pages used by an enclave only get epc_page->poison set in arch_memory_failure() but they currently stay on sgx_active_page_list until sgx_encl_release(), with the SGX_EPC_PAGE_RECLAIMER_TRACKED flag untouched. epc_page->poison is not checked in the reclaimer logic meaning that, if other conditions are met, an attempt will be made to reclaim an EPC page that was poisoned. This is bad because 1. we don't want that page to end up added to another enclave and 2. it is likely to cause one core to shut down and the kernel to panic. Specifically, reclaiming uses microcode operations including "EWB" which accesses the EPC page contents to encrypt and write them out to non-SGX memory. Those operations cannot handle MCEs in their accesses other than by putting the executing

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fuse: write inode in fuse_release() A race between write(2) and close(2) allows pages to be dirtied after fuse_flush -> write_inode_now(). If these pages are not flushed from fuse_release(), then there might not be a writable open file later. So any remaining dirty pages must be written back before the file is released. Any user (even guests) can create these docs, even if they don't exist already. This can enable guest users to denature the structure of wiki pages, by creating 1000's of pages with random name, that then become very difficult to handle by admins. Version 1.2.4 fixes the issue. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: don't replace page in rq_pages if it's a continuation of last page The splice read calls nfsd_splice_actor to put the pages containing file data into the svc_rqst->rq_pages array. It's possible however to get a splice result that only has a partial page at the end, if (e.g.) the filesystem hands back a short read that doesn't cover the whole page. nfsd_splice_actor will plop the partial page into its rq_pages array and return. Then later, when nfsd_splice_actor is called again, the remainder of the page may end up being filled out. At this point, nfsd_splice_actor will put the page into the array _again_ corrupting the reply. If this is done enough times, rq_next_page will overrun the array and corrupt the trailing fields -- the rq_respages and rq_next_page pointers themselves. If we've already added the page to the array in the last pass, don't add it to the array a second time when dealing with a splice continuation. This was originally handled properly in nfsd_splice_actor, but commit 91e23b1c3982 ("NFSD: Clean up nfsd_splice_actor()") removed the check for it.

XWiki Contrib's Syntax Markdown allows importing Markdown content into wiki pages and creating wiki content in Markdown. In versions starting from 8.2 to before 8.9, the Markdown syntax is vulnerable to cross-site scripting (XSS) through HTML. In particular, using Markdown syntax, it's possible for any user to embed Javascript code that will then be executed on the browser of any other user visiting either the document or the comment that contains it. In the instance that this code is executed by a user with admins or programming rights, this issue compromises the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the whole XWiki installation. This issue has been patched in version 8.9.

If a user clicks on a malicious link or opens a malicious web page, arbitrary Java Script may be executed with this user's permissions. This can lead to information loss and/or modification of existing data. The issues are caused by a bug https://github.com/Baroshem/nuxt-security/issues/610 in the widely used nuxt-security module.
