In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/lam: Disable ADDRESS_MASKING in most cases Linear Address Masking (LAM) has a weakness related to transient execution as described in the SLAM paper[1]. Unless Linear Address Space Separation (LASS) is enabled this weakness may be exploitable. Until kernel adds support for LASS[2], only allow LAM for COMPILE_TEST, or when speculation mitigations have been disabled at compile time, otherwise keep LAM disabled. There are no processors in market that support LAM yet, so currently nobody is affected by this issue. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: accept TCA_STAB only for root qdisc Most qdiscs maintain their backlog using qdisc_pkt_len(skb) on the assumption it is invariant between the enqueue() and dequeue() handlers. Unfortunately syzbot can crash a host rather easily using a TBF + SFQ combination, with an STAB on SFQ [1] We can't support TCA_STAB on arbitrary level, this would require to maintain per-qdisc storage. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: kthread: unpark only parked kthread Calling into kthread unparking unconditionally is mostly harmless when the kthread is already unparked. The wake up is then simply ignored because the target is not in TASK_PARKED state. However if the kthread is per CPU, the wake up is preceded by a call to kthread_bind() which expects the task to be inactive and in TASK_PARKED state, which obviously isn't the case if it is unparked. As a result, calling kthread_stop() on an unparked per-cpu kthread triggers such a warning: WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 11 at kernel/kthread.c:525 __kthread_bind_mask kernel/kthread.c:525 <TASK> kthread_stop+0x17a/0x630 kernel/kthread.c:707 destroy_workqueue+0x136/0xc40 kernel/workqueue.c:5810 wg_destruct+0x1e2/0x2e0 drivers/net/wireguard/device.c:257 netdev_run_todo+0xe1a/0x1000 net/core/dev.c:10693 default_device_exit_batch+0xa14/0xa90 net/core/dev.c:11769 ops_exit_list net/core/net_namespace.c:178 [inline] cleanup_net+0x89d/0xcc0 net/core/net_namespace.c:640 process_one_work kernel/workqueue.c:3231 [inline] process_scheduled_works+0xa2c/0x1830 kernel/workqueue.c:3312 worker_t

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firmware_loader: Block path traversal Most firmware names are hardcoded strings, or are constructed from fairly constrained format strings where the dynamic parts are just some hex numbers or such. However, there are a couple codepaths in the kernel where firmware file names contain string components that are passed through from a device or semi-privileged userspace; the ones I could find (not counting interfaces that require root privileges) are: - lpfc_sli4_request_firmware_update() seems to construct the firmware filename from "ModelName", a string that was previously parsed out of some descriptor ("Vital Product Data") in lpfc_fill_vpd() - nfp_net_fw_find() seems to construct a firmware filename from a model name coming from nfp_hwinfo_lookup(pf->hwinfo, "nffw.partno"), which I think parses some descriptor that was read from the device. (But this case likely isn't exploitable because the format string looks like "netronome/nic_%s", and there shouldn't be any *folders* starting with "netronome/nic_". The previous case was different because there, the "%s" is *at the start* of the fo

The Fish and Ships – Most flexible shipping table rate. A WooCommerce shipping rate plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting due to the use of add_query_arg without appropriate escaping on the URL in all versions up to, and including, 1.5.9. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
