  • Mar 25, 2026LiquidJS is a Shopify / GitHub Pages compatible template engine in pure JavaScript.CVE-2026-33287 · Other software · harttle · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

LiquidJS is a Shopify / GitHub Pages compatible template engine in pure JavaScript. Prior to version 10.25.1, the `replace_first` filter in LiquidJS uses JavaScript's `String.prototype.replace()` which interprets `$&` as a back reference to the matched substring. The filter only charges `memoryLimit` for the input string length, not the amplified output. An attacker can achieve exponential memory amplification (up to 625,000:1) while staying within the `memoryLimit` budget, leading to denial of service. Version 10.25.1 patches the issue.

LiquidJS is a Shopify / GitHub Pages compatible template engine in pure JavaScript. Prior to version 10.25.1, LiquidJS's `memoryLimit` security mechanism can be completely bypassed by using reverse range expressions (e.g., `(100000000..1)`), allowing an attacker to allocate unlimited memory. Combined with a string flattening operation (e.g., `replace` filter), this causes a V8 Fatal error that crashes the Node.js process, resulting in complete denial of service from a single HTTP request. Version 10.25.1 patches the issue.

  • Mar 24, 2026Apache Artemis before version 2.52.0 is affected by an authentication bypass flaw which allows reading all messages exchanged via the broker and injection of neCVE-2026-4649 · Other software · KNIME · reported by security@knime.comMedium 5.3

Apache Artemis before version 2.52.0 is affected by an authentication bypass flaw which allows reading all messages exchanged via the broker and injection of new message ( CVE-2026-27446 https://www.cve.org/CVERecord ). Since KNIME Business Hub uses Apache Artemis it is also affected by the issue. However, since Apache Artemis is not exposed to the outside it requires at least normal user privileges and the ability to execute workflows in an executor. Such a user can install and register a federated mirror without authentication to the original Apache Artemis instance and thereby read all internal messages and inject new messages. The issue affects all versions of KNIME Business Hub. A fixed version of Apache Artemis is shipped with versions 1.18.0, 1.17.4, and 1.16.3. We recommend updating to a fixed version as soon as possible since no workaround is known.

  • Mar 20, 2026Harden-Runner is a CI/CD security agent that works like an EDR for GitHub Actions runners.CVE-2026-32947 · Other software · step-security · reported by GitHubMedium 4.6

Harden-Runner is a CI/CD security agent that works like an EDR for GitHub Actions runners. In versions 2.15.1 and below, a DNS over HTTPS (DoH) vulnerability allows attackers to bypass egress-policy: block network restrictions by tunneling exfiltrated data through permitted HTTPS endpoints like dns.google. The attack works by encoding sensitive data (e.g., the runner's hostname) as subdomains in DoH queries, which appear as legitimate HTTPS traffic to Harden-Runner's domain-based filtering but are ultimately forwarded to an attacker-controlled domain. This effectively enables data exfiltration without directly connecting to any blocked destination. Exploitation requires the attacker to already have code execution within the GitHub Actions workflow. The issue was fixed in version 2.16.0.

Harden-Runner is a CI/CD security agent that works like an EDR for GitHub Actions runners. In versions 2.15.1 and below, the Harden-Runner that allows bypass of the egress-policy: block network restriction using DNS queries over TCP. Egress policies are enforced on GitHub runners by filtering outbound connections at the network layer. When egress-policy: block is enabled with a restrictive allowed-endpoints list (e.g., only github.com:443), all non-compliant traffic should be denied. However, DNS queries over TCP, commonly used for large responses or fallback from UDP, are not adequately restricted. Tools like dig can explicitly initiate TCP-based DNS queries (+tcp flag) without being blocked. This vulnerability requires the attacker to already have code execution capabilities within the GitHub Actions workflow. The issue has been fixed in version 2.16.0.

Romeo gives the capability to reach high code coverage of Go ≥1.20 apps by helping to measure code coverage for functional and integration tests within GitHub Actions. Prior to version 0.2.1, due to a mis-written NetworkPolicy, a malicious actor can pivot from the "hardened" namespace to any Pod out of it. This breaks the security-by-default property expected as part of the deployment program, leading to a potential lateral movement. Removing the `inter-ns` NetworkPolicy patches the vulnerability in version 0.2.1. If updates are not possible in production environments, manually delete `inter-ns` and update as soon as possible. Given one's context, delete the failing network policy that should be prefixed by `inter-ns-` in the target namespace.

  • Mar 18, 2026openapi-to-java-records-mustache-templates allows users to generate Java Records from OpenAPI specifications.CVE-2026-32735 · Other software · Chrimle · reported by GitHubLow 2.3

openapi-to-java-records-mustache-templates allows users to generate Java Records from OpenAPI specifications. Starting in version 5.1.1 and prior to version 5.5.1, the parent POM file of this project (`openapi-to-java-records-mustache-templates-parent`), which is used to centralize plugin configurations for multiple unit-test modules, uses `maven-dependency-plugin` to unpack arbitrary `.mustache` files from the `openapi-to-java-records-mustache-templates` artifact (of the same version). While this parent POM file is not intended for external use, it is published, and could be used by anyone, and does not follow the best security practices. The risk, is that if `openapi-to-java-records-mustache-templates` would be compromised, and malicious `.mustache` files were to be included in the resulting JAR/artifact, users would unpack these files automatically during a dependency update. This is addressed in the v3.5.1 release of `openapi-to-java-records-mustache-templates-parent`. It is strongly recommended NOT to use the parent POM for external use. The `openapi-to-java-records-mustache-templates` module is the center of this project, and surrounding modules and configurations are not int

  • Mar 11, 2026xygeni-action is the GitHub Action for Xygeni Scanner.CVE-2026-31976 · Other software · xygeni · reported by GitHubCritical 9.3

xygeni-action is the GitHub Action for Xygeni Scanner. On March 3, 2026, an attacker with access to compromised credentials created a series of pull requests (#46, #47, #48) injecting obfuscated shell code into action.yml. The PRs were blocked by branch protection rules and never merged into the main branch. However, the attacker used the compromised GitHub App credentials to move the mutable v5 tag to point at the malicious commit (4bf1d4e19ad81a3e8d4063755ae0f482dd3baf12) from one of the unmerged PRs. This commit remained in the repository's git object store, and any workflow referencing @v5 would fetch and execute it. This is a supply chain compromise via tag poisoning. Any GitHub Actions workflow referencing xygeni/xygeni-action@v5 during the affected window (approximately March 3–10, 2026) executed a C2 implant that granted the attacker arbitrary command execution on the CI runner for up to 180 seconds per workflow run.

Improper Authorization vulnerability in nerves-hub nerves_hub_web allows cross-organization device control via device bulk actions and device update API. Missing authorization checks in the device bulk actions and device update API endpoints allow authenticated users to target devices belonging to other organizations and perform actions outside of their privilege level. An attacker can select devices outside of their organization by manipulating device identifiers and perform management actions on them, such as moving them to products they control. This may allow attackers to interfere with firmware updates, access device functionality exposed by the platform, or disrupt device connectivity. In environments where additional features such as remote console access are enabled, this could lead to full compromise of affected devices. The shell tool within GitHub Copilot CLI versions prior to and including 0.0.422 can allow arbitrary code execution through crafted bash parameter expansion patterns. An attacker who can influence the commands executed by the agent (e.g., via prompt injection through repository files, MCP server responses, or user instructions) can exploit bash parameter transformation operators to execute hidden commands, bypassing the safety assessment that classifies commands as "read-only." This has been patched in version 0.0.423. The vulnerability stems from how the CLI's shell safety assessment evaluates commands before execution. The safety layer parses and classifies shell commands as either read-only (safe) or write-capable (requires user approval). However, several bash parameter expansion features can embed executable code within arguments to otherwise read-only commands, causing them to appear safe while actually performing arbitrary operations. The specific dangerous patterns are ${var@P}, ${var=value} / ${var:=value}, ${!var}, and nested $(cmd) or <(cmd) inside ${...} expansions. An attacker who can influence command text sent to the shell tool - for example, through prompt inject

  • Mar 4, 2026A cache poisoning vulnerability has been found in the Pingora HTTP proxy framework’s default cache key construction.CVE-2026-2836 · Other software · Cloudflare · reported by cna@cloudflare.comHigh 8.4

A cache poisoning vulnerability has been found in the Pingora HTTP proxy framework’s default cache key construction. The issue occurs because the default HTTP cache key implementation generates cache keys using only the URI path, excluding critical factors such as the host header (authority). Operators relying on the default are vulnerable to cache poisoning, and cross-origin responses may be improperly served to users. Impact This vulnerability affects users of Pingora's alpha proxy caching feature who relied on the default CacheKey implementation. An attacker could exploit this for: * Cross-tenant data leakage: In multi-tenant deployments, poison the cache so that users from one tenant receive cached responses from another tenant * Cache poisoning attacks: Serve malicious content to legitimate users by poisoning shared cache entries Cloudflare's CDN infrastructure was not affected by this vulnerability, as Cloudflare's default cache key implementation uses multiple factors to prevent cache key poisoning and never made use of the previously provided default. Mitigation: We strongly recommend Pingora users to upgrade to Pingora v0.8.0 or higher, which removes the

If a developer using this package passes unvalidated user input directly into the `repo` prop (for example, reading it from a URL query parameter), an attacker can execute arbitrary JavaScript in the context of the user's browser. In version 1.0.1, the use of dangerouslySetInnerHTML has been removed, and the repo prop is now safely rendered using standard React JSX data binding, which automatically escapes HTML entities.

  • Feb 19, 2026Trivy Action runs Trivy as GitHub action to scan a Docker container image for vulnerabilities.CVE-2026-26189 · Other software · aquasecurity · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9

Trivy Action runs Trivy as GitHub action to scan a Docker container image for vulnerabilities. A command injection vulnerability exists in `aquasecurity/trivy-action` versions 0.31.0 through 0.33.1 due to improper handling of action inputs when exporting environment variables. The action writes `export VAR=<input>` lines to `trivy_envs.txt` based on user-supplied inputs and subsequently sources this file in `entrypoint.sh`. Because input values are written without appropriate shell escaping, attacker-controlled input containing shell metacharacters (e.g., `$(...)`, backticks, or other command substitution syntax) may be evaluated during the sourcing process. This can result in arbitrary command execution within the GitHub Actions runner context. Version 0.34.0 contains a patch for this issue. The vulnerability is exploitable when a consuming workflow passes attacker-controlled data into any action input that is written to `trivy_envs.txt`. Access to user input is required by the malicious actor. Workflows that do not pass attacker-controlled data into `trivy-action` inputs, workflows that upgrade to a patched version that properly escapes shell values or eliminates the `source ./tr

  • Feb 18, 2026An incorrect authorization vulnerability was identified in GitHub Enterprise Server that allowed an attacker to merge their own pull request into a repository wCVE-2026-1999 · Other software · GitHub · reported by product-cna@github.comHigh 7.1

An incorrect authorization vulnerability was identified in GitHub Enterprise Server that allowed an attacker to merge their own pull request into a repository without having push access by exploiting an authorization bypass in the enable_auto_merge mutation for pull requests. This issue only affected repositories that allow forking as the attack relies on opening a pull request from an attacker-controlled fork into the target repository. Exploitation was only possible in specific scenarios. It required a clean pull request status and only applied to branches without branch protection rules enabled. This vulnerability affected GitHub Enterprise Server versions prior to 3.19.2, 3.18.5, and 3.17.11, and was fixed in versions 3.19.2, 3.18.5, and 3.17.11. This vulnerability was reported via the GitHub Bug Bounty program.

A Missing Authorization vulnerability was identified in GitHub Enterprise Server that allowed an attacker to upload unauthorized content to another user’s repository migration export due to a missing authorization check in the repository migration upload endpoint. By supplying the migration identifier, an attacker could overwrite or replace a victim’s migration archive, potentially causing victims to download attacker-controlled repository data during migration restores or automated imports. An attacker would require authentication to the victim's GitHub Enterprise Server instance. This vulnerability affected all versions of GitHub Enterprise Server prior to 3.20 and was fixed in versions 3.19.2, 3.18.5, 3.17.11, 3.16.14, 3.15.18, 3.14.23. This vulnerability was reported via the GitHub Bug Bounty program.

  • Feb 18, 2026An URL redirection vulnerability was identified in GitHub Enterprise Server that allowed attacker-controlled redirects to leak sensitive authorization tokens.CVE-2026-0573 · Other software · GitHub · reported by product-cna@github.comHigh 7.6

An URL redirection vulnerability was identified in GitHub Enterprise Server that allowed attacker-controlled redirects to leak sensitive authorization tokens. The repository_pages API insecurely followed HTTP redirects when fetching artifact URLs, preserving the authorization header containing a privileged JWT. An authenticated user could redirect these requests to an attacker-controlled domain, exfiltrate the Actions.ManageOrgs JWT, and leverage it for potential remote code execution. Attackers would require access to the target GitHub Enterprise Server instance and the ability to exploit a legacy redirect to an attacker-controlled domain. This vulnerability affected all versions of GitHub Enterprise Server prior to 3.19 and was fixed in versions 3.19.2, 3.18.4, 3.17.10, 3.16.13, 3.15.17, and 3.14.22. • Feb 12, 2026A flaw was found in Dropbear.CVE-2025-14282 · Other software · https://github.com/mkj/dropbear/ · reported by patrick@puiterwijk.orgMedium 5.4

A flaw was found in Dropbear. When running in multi-user mode and authenticating users, the dropbear ssh server does the socket forwardings requested by the remote client as root, only switching to the logged-in user upon spawning a shell or performing some operations like reading the user's files. With the recent ability of also using unix domain sockets as the forwarding destination any user able to log in via ssh can connect to any unix socket with the root's credentials, bypassing both file system restrictions and any SO_PEERCRED / SO_PASSCRED checks performed by the peer.

Super-linter is a combination of multiple linters to run as a GitHub Action or standalone. From 6.0.0 to 8.3.0, the Super-linter GitHub Action is vulnerable to command injection via crafted filenames. When this action is used in downstream GitHub Actions workflows, an attacker can submit a pull request that introduces a file whose name contains shell command substitution syntax, such as $(...). In affected Super-linter versions, runtime scripts may execute the embedded command during file discovery processing, enabling arbitrary command execution in the workflow runner context. This can be used to disclose the job’s GITHUB_TOKEN depending on how the workflow configures permissions. This vulnerability is fixed in 8.3.1.
