Oct 19, 2026Unchecked input for a loop condition in Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.6 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to stop the server carrying mCVE-2026-107569 · Other software · Progressive Robot Ltd · reported by cve@gitlab.comHigh 7.5
Unchecked input for a loop condition in Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.6 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to stop the server carrying mail. The server bounds the mail it generates in response to a message - a rule forward, reply or copy, an account forward, a Sieve redirect, vacation or notify, a bounce, an out-of-office reply - by a counter it carries in the message's X-hMailServer-LoopCount header, and makes no more once the counter reaches the configured rule loop limit (5 by default); that is what ends a forwarding or auto-reply cycle in a bounded number of hops. X-hMailServer-LoopCount is an ordinary header that is not stripped from mail arriving from outside, and the server read it with a signed conversion and no validation, so a count below zero passed every test against the limit: a sender who sets X-hMailServer-LoopCount to a negative value, or on the Linux builds to a value above the 32-bit signed range that the conversion wraps to a negative one, lifts the bound, and a message that enters a generated-mail cycle then loops up to about two thousand million times, each hop a queued message and a delivery, filling the queue and disk and stopping mail

Oct 19, 2026Improper Validation of Integrity Check Value vulnerability in Apache Camel Crypto PGP component.CVE-2026-85243 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 5.9
Improper Validation of Integrity Check Value vulnerability in Apache Camel Crypto PGP component. This issue affects Apache Camel: from 4.0.0 before 4.18.5, from 4.19.0 before 4.22.1. unmarshal() verified the modification detection code only when the message was an OpenPGP symmetrically encrypted integrity protected data packet. The older symmetrically encrypted data packet carries no such code, and OpenPGP's CFB mode is malleable without one, so a message using that packet skipped the check altogether. The packet type is chosen by whoever produced the message, which left the sender - or anyone able to rewrite the message in transit - deciding whether the integrity check applied at all. The existing integrity option governs marshalling only and had no decrypt-side counterpart, so a deployment could not require integrity protection on the messages it accepted. Upgrade to Apache Camel 4.23.0, which fixes the issue. Users on the 4.18.x LTS releases stream should upgrade to 4.18.5. Users on the 4.22.x LTS releases stream should upgrade to 4.22.1. A requireIntegrityProtection option, defaulting to true, now rejects a message that is not integrity protected. Note that signatureVerifica

在 openGauss-server 的 src/common/backend/libpq/hba.cpp 中,复制连接认证存在访问控制绕过。hba_getauthmethod() 在处理 HADR/SW 复制发送方时,不要求 is_node_internal_connection(),直接调用 check_hba_replication()。check_hba_replication() 仅按 replication 标记做弱匹配,缺少普通 check_hba() 中的远程 trust 禁止等完整校验。

The Gitea OpenID association callback in the security settings accepted a positive OpenID 2.0 assertion without checking that the signed-in user had started the linking. Because OpenID 2.0 allows unsolicited assertions, an attacker-controlled OpenID provider could attach the attacker's identity to the account of a signed-in victim who opened a crafted link, and the attacker could then sign in as the victim through OpenID login, which does not apply the local TOTP or WebAuthn checks. The callback now requires a time-limited `state` value bound to the user.

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fprobe: Use guard(rcu_sched_notrace) and check rcu_is_watching() unregister_fprobe() and uCVE-2026-98861 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fprobe: Use guard(rcu_sched_notrace) and check rcu_is_watching() unregister_fprobe() and unregister_fprobe_async() (used by BPF kprobe-multi) rely on standard RCU grace periods (synchronize_rcu() and call_rcu()) to wait until in-flight fprobe handlers complete before freeing the fprobe. However, if an fprobe handler executes while RCU is not watching (such as in the idle loop or nohz_full extended quiescent states), standard RCU does not track preemption-disabled sections. Consequently, synchronize_rcu() does not wait for those executions, which can lead to a use-after-free if the fprobe is freed immediately after unregistration. Ensure handlers exit early when !rcu_is_watching(). Furthermore, fprobe_fgraph_entry() and fprobe_ftrace_entry() previously used guard(rcu)() and rcu_read_lock(), which invoke lockdep on every hit under CONFIG_PROVE_LOCKING. This adds overhead and can cause lockdep recursion if probed functions interact with lockdep. Since rhltable_lookup() and rhl_for_each_entry_rcu() use rcu_dereference_all_check() (which checks rcu_read_lock_any_held()), holding preemption disabled via rcu_read_loc

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: bpf: cast size to ssize_t when checking hid_bpf_hw_request As reported by Sashiko: IfCVE-2026-98860 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: bpf: cast size to ssize_t when checking hid_bpf_hw_request As reported by Sashiko: If a transport driver encounters a hardware error and returns a negative error code such as -EPIPE, ret is implicitly promoted to size_t when compared against size. This causes the negative error code to evaluate as a large positive number, making the (ret > size) condition true. This silently converts the hardware error into a success return value and copies the unmodified buffer back, which could leave BPF programs operating on uninitialized or stale data. Fix this by casting size into ssize_t to return the actual negative error code.

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: kprobes: Skip disarmed probes when checking optkprobe overlap On x86, an optkprobe at A reCVE-2026-98856 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: kprobes: Skip disarmed probes when checking optkprobe overlap On x86, an optkprobe at A replaces five bytes with a jump. If a disabled probe B is at A+2, get_optimized_kprobe() stops at B when arming a new probe C at A+4. It leaves A optimized: A A+1 A+2 A+3 A+4 A's jump | e9 | d0 | d1 | d2 | d3 | after C | e9 | d0 | d1 | d2 | cc | The INT3 for C overwrites the last byte of A's jump displacement, so execution can jump to the wrong address. B can have prepared optinsns while disarmed, but has no jump to unoptimize. Continue past disarmed and unprepared probes to find the active optimized probe before arming a probe in its jump.

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sctp: check RCV_SHUTDOWN after the sendmsg connect wait sctp_wait_for_connect() drops the CVE-2026-98846 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sctp: check RCV_SHUTDOWN after the sendmsg connect wait sctp_wait_for_connect() drops the socket lock while it sleeps. An out-of-the-blue ABORT can then be processed from the socket backlog and unlink the association. If a concurrent shutdown(fd, SHUT_RD) sets RCV_SHUTDOWN, the waiter breaks with err == 0 before checking asoc->base.dead. Its final sctp_association_put() can then free the association, leaving sctp_sendmsg_to_asoc() to continue with a dangling pointer. Check RCV_SHUTDOWN along with the wait error in sctp_sendmsg_to_asoc() before using the association again. The check only accesses the socket, so it needs no additional association reference. Return the existing -ESRCH so that sctp_sendmsg() skips freeing a new association that may already have been destroyed. Keep sctp_wait_for_connect() unchanged to preserve its behavior for the connect() caller.

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tpm: Disable TPM on null key name mismatch The null key name check exists to protect againCVE-2026-98845 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tpm: Disable TPM on null key name mismatch The null key name check exists to protect against TPM reset attacks, so a mismatch should stop the device from serving further requests. Currently it does not disable the chip when it finds a mismatch. The mismatch is logged: tpm tpm0: null key integrity check failed but the chip keeps serving commands: / # tpm2_getcap -c properties-fixed TPM_PT_FAMILY_INDICATOR: as UINT32: 0x08322e3000 as string: "2.0" ... tpm2_load_null() where the null key name check is run sets the chip as disabled only if the rc is non zero. When the mismatch is seen, rc is zero at that point and it returns success. The other issue is that the caller expects the null key handle to be populated when the function returns 0 which it does here without writing the handle and proceeds assuming the null key handle is valid. During the test, I noticed that tpm2_start_auth_session() uses the uninitialized stack value as the key handle since tpm2_load_null() returns 0 despite the integrity failure and proceeds with TPM2_CC_START_AUTH_SESS with th

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rtc: mpfs: fix unchecked devm_clk_get() error pointer in probe() devm_clk_get(&pdev->dev, "rtcref")'s return value was passed straight into clk_get_rate() without checking it for an error first, unlike the "rtc" clock a few lines above which is correctly checked with IS_ERR(). clk_get_rate() only guards against a NULL clk, not an error pointer: if (!clk) return 0; ... rate = clk_core_get_rate_recalc(clk->core); so if devm_clk_get() ever returns an error pointer here (for example ERR_PTR(-EPROBE_DEFER), which is the normal, expected outcome if the clkcfg clock-provider this RTC depends on has not registered its clocks yet by the time this driver probes), clk_get_rate() dereferences that error pointer instead of returning 0, crashing instead of letting probe defer. Capture the clock in the existing 'clk' local and check it with IS_ERR() before calling clk_get_rate(), matching the handling already used for the "rtc" clock in this same function.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: check dc_state_create_copy() for NULL in dm_suspend dc_state_create_copy() can return NULL on allocation failure. dm_suspend() only conditionally skips dm_gpureset_toggle_interrupts() and continues execution, returning success. dm_resume() then dereferences the NULL cached_dc_state in link_enc_cfg_copy() and the following dc_state->stream_count loop, crashing during GPU reset recovery. Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tpm: fix off-by-four bounds check in tpm2_get_random() When the response carries the TPM2_CVE-2026-98728 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tpm: fix off-by-four bounds check in tpm2_get_random() When the response carries the TPM2_ST_SESSIONS tag, tpm2_get_random() skips the 4-byte parameter size field before locating the random data, but the bounds check still validates the response length against TPM_HEADER_SIZE. A truncated response can pass the check and make memcpy() read up to 4 bytes past the response end, so stale buffer contents end up in the caller's random bytes. Fix this by checking the response length against 'offset', which already includes the skipped parameter size field.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvme-multipath: fix underflow in ANA log bounds checks The number of ANA groups advertised through Identify Controller sizes the ANA log buffer. The ANA log header and group descriptors independently supply the number of groups and namespace IDs to parse. Both bounds checks subtract an untrusted object size from ana_log_size before comparing the current offset. If the object is larger than the buffer, the size_t subtraction underflows and lets the parser read beyond ana_log_buf. Check the current offset before the first subtraction and compare each object size with the remaining buffer instead. This rejects inconsistent ANA data before dereferencing a truncated group descriptor or walking an oversized namespace ID array.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: SVM: Use the active VMCB's MSR bitmap when checking if MSR is intercepted Use the MSR permission bitmap of the active VMCB instead of assuming that KVM is always using vmcb02's bitmap when L2 is active, as KVM uses msrpm02 if and only if L1 wants to intercept MSR accesses, i.e. if and only if KVM needs to merge msprm01 with msrpm12. Don't bother tracking the virtual address of the bitmap that's being used, as __va() is cheap on x86, and caching the virtual address would introduce yet another source of potentially stale information.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Make post-verification instruction rewrites killable After do_check() returns, the verifier runs several instruction rewrite passes. Some of them patch or remove one instruction at a time. Each operation moves the remaining instruction and auxiliary-data arrays and adjusts all branch offsets, making the overall work quadratic in the program length. A privileged loader can submit 131072 unconditional jumps by zero followed by a valid return. Verification finishes quickly, but bpf_opt_remove_nops() then spends a long time removing each jump separately. Since this post-verification work neither checks for signals nor reschedules, a pending SIGKILL cannot terminate the task until the rewrite finishes. Make bpf_patch_insn_data() and verifier_remove_insns() common cancellation and rescheduling points. These helpers run from BPF_PROG_LOAD process context, and bpf_patch_insn_data() can already sleep while reallocating auxiliary data. Report interrupted constant blinding as -EINTR and propagate it through both JIT paths, including kernels that permit interpreter fallback. Other blinding failures retain the existin

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: gue: reject invalid REMCSUM offsets The REMCSUM option carries an absolute checksum sCVE-2026-98621 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: gue: reject invalid REMCSUM offsets The REMCSUM option carries an absolute checksum start and checksum field offset. gue_remcsum() passes them to skb_remcsum_process(), whose partial path stores offset - start in the u16 skb->csum_offset variable. If offset is less than start, this underflows. A forwarded packet can retain CHECKSUM_PARTIAL and reach a NETIF_F_HW_CSUM driver which trusts the metadata, leading skb_copy_and_csum_dev() to write two bytes about 64 KiB beyond the destination buffer. Reject reversed tuples in validate_gue_flags(), after the existing length validation, so all GUE parsers enforce the ordering in one place.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Check params size before reading reserved fields bpf_crypto_ctx_create() is a kfunc whose second argument is declared with the __sz annotation, so the verifier only guarantees that params__sz bytes of params are valid. The function nevertheless reads params->reserved[0] and params->reserved[1] (offsets 14 and 15) before comparing params__sz against the size of struct bpf_crypto_params, so a BPF program can pass a shorter buffer and have the kernel read past the region that was validated for it. Move the size check in front of the reserved field reads.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: usb: sr9700: include receive overhead in the length check The receive fixup subtracts the Ethernet CRC from the reported packet length, but compares that payload length against the whole remaining receive buffer. The following copy starts after the three-byte header, and the cursor advance consumes both that header and the four-byte CRC. Require the payload to fit after SR_RX_OVERHEAD before copying it or advancing to the next packet. The loop already ensures that the remaining buffer is larger than the overhead, so the subtraction is safe. The issue was found by our static-analysis tool.

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix bounds check for skb-backed dynptrs The skb_pointer_if_linear() function checks wCVE-2026-98591 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix bounds check for skb-backed dynptrs The skb_pointer_if_linear() function checks whether a memory region of length len starting at offset off into the skb is in the linear area, and returns a pointer to the region if so. The check currently subtracts between skb_headlen and offset of the check, and since skb_headlen is unsigned the subtraction can underflow. This causes the bounds check to spuriously pass and generate an arbitrary pointer of the form *(skb->data + off). The only user of this helper is currently skb-backed BPF dynptr code. Returning the wrong pointer leads to the dynptr erroneously being backed with invalid memory. Ensure the subtraction cannot underflow, and fail the check if it would. Use u64 arithmetic to also prevent overflow when calculating (skb_headlen(skb) - off) since off is unsigned.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: skbuff: fix pull-bound underflow in skb_checksum_setup_ipv6() skb_maybe_pull_tail() subtracts skb_headlen(skb) from the unsigned max argument and passes the result to __pskb_pull_tail() as a signed int. The function does not ensure that max is at least skb_headlen(skb). This can happen while parsing IPv6 extension headers when an skb already has a linear area larger than MAX_IPV6_HDR_LEN. Once the parser needs data beyond the linear area, max - skb_headlen(skb) wraps and is converted to a negative delta. __pskb_pull_tail() then passes that negative length to skb_copy_bits(), where it can become a very large copy length. Pass the requested length itself as the pull bound at the three extension-header call sites, so the delta can no longer go negative.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: workqueue: Fix NULL current_pwq deref in flush dependency check check_flush_dependency() uses current_wq_worker() to determine whether the caller is a workqueue worker and then dereferences worker->current_pwq to test whether the current workqueue is WQ_MEM_RECLAIM. current_wq_worker() only means that %current has PF_WQ_WORKER set. A kworker can reach check_flush_dependency() while it is not executing a work item. One such path is worker_thread() acting as the pool manager, where create_worker() does GFP_KERNEL allocation and the allocation path invokes the OOM notifier. In that state worker->current_pwq is NULL because current_pwq is set only by process_one_work() and cleared again after the work function returns. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: ip6t_rt: fix zero-address non-strict match out-of-bounds read rt_mt6_check() permits rules to be configured with rtinfo->addrnr == 0 even when address matching (IP6T_RT_FST_MASK) is requested. In the IP6T_RT_FST_NSTRICT path, rt_mt6() evaluates packet routing addresses against rtinfo->addrs[i] and terminates backwards at the bottom of the loop: if (ipv6_addr_equal(ap, &rtinfo->addrs[i])) { i++; } if (i == rtinfo->addrnr) break; When addrnr is 0, if the first packet address matches rtinfo->addrs[0], i is incremented to 1. Because i is now strictly greater than addrnr (0), the loop termination condition (i == rtinfo->addrnr) is bypassed and will never be satisfied. If a crafted IPv6 packet contains matching routing addresses, i will advance past IP6T_RT_HOPS (16). The subsequent call to ipv6_addr_equal() reads beyond struct ip6t_rt, triggering UBSAN/KASAN out-of-bounds warnings or kernel panics. Fix this by: 1. Rejecting rules in rt_mt6_check() where IP6T_RT_FST_MASK is set but rtinfo->addrnr is zero. 2. In rt_mt6(), moving the termination condition (i < rtinfo->addrnr

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: libiscsi_tcp: Check the data direction of a Data-In PDU The Data-In branch of iscsi_tcp_hdr_dissect() resolves the ITT to a task and copies the PDU's data segment into that command's scatterlist without asking whether the command was reading. iscsi_tcp_r2t_rsp() in the same file does ask, and rejects an R2T for a command that is not DMA_TO_DEVICE. A target that answers a WRITE command's ITT with a Data-In therefore has the initiator write target-supplied bytes into the pages that write was about to send. Those are the caller's own pinned pages for an O_DIRECT write, and page cache pages for a buffered one. Observed against a test target that emits one 512-byte Data-In naming a 128 KB write's ITT, after the R2T for that write. With O_DIRECT the caller's buffer ends up holding 512 bytes of the target's data while pwrite() returns 131072. Buffered is quieter: pwrite() and fsync() both succeed, nothing is logged, and reading those blocks back returns the target's bytes out of the page cache without a command going on the wire. Check the direction before using the scatterlist, the way the R2T path already doe
