Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ring-buffer: Stop remote reader update when page swap fails The remote swap_reader_page caCVE-2026-89499 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ring-buffer: Stop remote reader update when page swap fails The remote swap_reader_page callback can return -EBUSY when the writer moves the head before the remote catches it, particularly during an event storm on a small buffer. __rb_get_reader_page_from_remote() currently warns about that failure but continues with the unchanged reader ID and rearranges the local page list as though the swap succeeded. Handle the callback failure as a recoverable error. Report it with pr_warn_ratelimited() and return NULL. Callers already handle a NULL reader page as a failed attempt. This avoids splicing the same page as both the previous and new reader without flooding the log under contention.

Sep 11, 2026Concrete CMS below 9.5.3 does not perform an object-level authorization check when a Page Type was updated.CVE-2026-81915 · Other software · Concrete CMS · reported by ff5b8ace-8b95-4078-9743-eac1ca5451deMedium 5.1
Concrete CMS below 9.5.3 does not perform an object-level authorization check when a Page Type was updated. The Types::submit() dashboard controller loaded and saved the Page Type identified by a user-supplied ptID without calling canEditPageType(), so a signed-in dashboard user permitted to edit one Page Type could modify the configuration of Page Types outside their assigned authorization boundary. The update_page_type token was validated but is action- and user-scoped rather than object-scoped, so it did not constrain which Page Type could be targeted. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 5.1 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:H/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Thanks Andrew Gonzalez for reporting.

Sep 10, 2026Renovate is a dependency update automation tool.CVE-2026-88887 · Other software · renovatebot · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.2
Renovate is a dependency update automation tool. When listing tags/digests for a container image, Renovate follows pagination links supplied by the remote registry in the HTTP Link header and attaches the registry credentials to the follow-up request without verifying that the pagination URL has the same origin as the original registry. A malicious or compromised container registry can therefore specify a Link header pointing to an attacker-controlled host and receive the credentials Renovate uses for that registry. Exploitation requires that the target has container (Docker) dependencies and is already interacting with the malicious or compromised registry. This is fixed in Renovate 44.11.2 (npm and renovate/renovate images), Mend Renovate CE/EE 15.4.0 and the mend-renovate-enterprise-edition Helm chart 10.4.0; the same-origin check can be disabled with RENOVATE_X_DOCKER_PAGINATION_ALLOW_CROSS_ORIGIN.

Sep 10, 2026Renovate is a dependency update automation tool.CVE-2026-88886 · Other software · renovatebot · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.5
Renovate is a dependency update automation tool. In versions before 44.14.7 (and in Mend Renovate CE/EE distributions before 15.4.0, and the mend-renovate-enterprise-edition Helm chart before 10.4.0), the manager/gradle-wrapper module does not escape the distributionUrl value read from a repository's gradle/wrapper/gradle-wrapper.properties file before invoking the Gradle Wrapper CLI. In self-hosted deployments configured with binarySource=docker and allowedUnsafeExecutions=['gradleWrapper', ...], a repository that supplies a crafted distributionUrl (for example, appending a shell metacharacter and command) can cause arbitrary commands to be executed as the Renovate user when Renovate processes a Gradle Wrapper update. The issue is fixed in Renovate 44.14.7; as a workaround, remove 'gradleWrapper' from allowedUnsafeExecutions.

Sep 10, 2026Renovate is a dependency update automation tool.CVE-2026-88884 · Other software · renovatebot · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9
Renovate is a dependency update automation tool. In versions before 44.3.1 (and Mend Renovate CE/EE images before 15.4.0, mend-renovate-ce Helm chart before 15.4.0, mend-renovate-enterprise-edition Helm chart before 10.4.0), digest updates are not subject to the internal `minimumReleaseAge` (stability age) checks. When a repository configures `minimumReleaseAge` and has dependencies with `updateType=digest` — for example GitHub Actions pinned to a commit SHA with a floating tag, Docker images, Go modules or NuGet packages — Renovate will still open a pull request for a newly published digest, marked only with a pending `renovate/stability-days` status check. A newly published, potentially malicious dependency version can therefore cause a PR to be raised and CI workflows to potentially run before the configured minimum release age has elapsed, which is precisely what the Minimum Release Age control is intended to prevent. The issue is fixed in Renovate 44.3.1; as a workaround, digest updates can be disabled or gated behind `dependencyDashboardApproval`.

Sep 10, 2026Renovate is an automated dependency update tool.CVE-2026-88883 · Other software · renovatebot · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.3
Renovate is an automated dependency update tool. In versions before 44.14.4 (and Mend Renovate CE/EE images before 15.4.0 and the mend-renovate-enterprise-edition Helm chart before 10.4.0), log sanitisation for TLS private keys used for Mutual TLS was incomplete. While the value of hostRules[].httpsPrivateKey was redacted in the field itself, the same private key value was not redacted if it also appeared elsewhere — for example in another configuration option or in a log message under a key other than httpsPrivateKey — causing the full private key to be written to Renovate's logs in cleartext. This affects deployments that configure Mutual TLS through hostRules[].httpsPrivateKey without passing the value through the documented `secrets` configuration. Anyone able to read the resulting logs can recover the private key. The issue is fixed in Renovate 44.14.4, which redacts any value supplied as hostRules[].httpsPrivateKey wherever it appears in the logs; as a workaround, supply the key via the `secrets` configuration.

Sep 10, 2026Renovate is a dependency update automation tool.CVE-2026-88882 · Other software · renovatebot · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.2
Renovate is a dependency update automation tool. In versions before 44.11.2 (and Mend Renovate CE/EE images and charts before 15.4.0, and mend-renovate-enterprise-edition helm chart before 10.4.0), when listing new package versions from a NuGet registry Renovate follows pagination URLs supplied by the registry in the HTTP `Link` header without verifying that the target has the same origin as the configured registry. Registry credentials are attached to the request for the 'next' page, so a malicious or compromised NuGet registry can return a `Link` header pointing at an attacker-controlled server and cause Renovate to send the registry credentials to that server. Exploitation requires the remote registry to be malicious or compromised; such a registry would normally already have received the credentials on the initial request, so the issue primarily allows the credentials to be delivered to an additional, attacker-chosen host. The fix restricts pagination to the same origin; the previous behaviour can be re-enabled with the RENOVATE_X_NUGET_PAGINATION_ALLOW_CROSS_ORIGIN option.

Sep 10, 2026Renovate, a dependency update tool, follows pagination links supplied by the GitHub server in the HTTP `Link` header when interacting with GitHub.com, GitHub EnCVE-2026-88881 · Other software · renovatebot · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.2
Renovate, a dependency update tool, follows pagination links supplied by the GitHub server in the HTTP `Link` header when interacting with GitHub.com, GitHub Enterprise Cloud, or GitHub Enterprise Server, and sends the credentials configured for that host to the URL given as the 'next' page. Because the pagination URL is not validated against the host originally contacted, a malicious or compromised GitHub server can return a `Link` header pointing to an attacker-controlled host and cause Renovate to disclose those credentials to it. Exploitation requires that the GitHub server Renovate talks to (as the repository host or as a datasource such as github-releases, github-tags, or git-refs) is already malicious or compromised. The issue is fixed in renovate 44.11.3 (npm and renovate/renovate container images), Mend Renovate CE/EE images and the mend-renovate-ce helm chart 15.4.0, and the mend-renovate-enterprise-edition helm chart 10.4.0. There is no workaround; the pre-existing RENOVATE_X_REBASE_PAGINATION_LINKS option disables the new host check and should only be used with servers that intentionally use different pagination hosts.

Sep 9, 2026Snipe-IT through version 8.6.3 fails to perform object-level authorization in the updateLicense, updateConsumable, updateAccessory, and updateModel endpoints anCVE-2026-86773 · Other software · grokability · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.3
Snipe-IT through version 8.6.3 fails to perform object-level authorization in the updateLicense, updateConsumable, updateAccessory, and updateModel endpoints and in the storeModel endpoint for Predefined Kits. The existing check authorizes only the parent Predefined Kit (update on PredefinedKit) and not the child object being attached. As a result, an authenticated user holding only the kits.edit permission can attach a License, Consumable, Accessory, or Asset Model that they are otherwise denied (HTTP 403) from reading directly to a Predefined Kit, and the kit relation index then discloses the attached object's name back to that low-privilege user. This is the update-path and storeModel counterpart to CVE-2026-55478, which fixed only the storeLicense, storeConsumable, and storeAccessory methods in 8.6.2. Note that updateModel was code-vulnerable in 8.6.3 but not reachable in practice because a route-name typo bound the route to a nonexistent controller method, causing HTTP 500 responses. The issue is fixed in Snipe-IT 8.7.0.

Sep 9, 2026Snipe-IT versions 8.2.0 through 8.6.x (fixed in 8.7.0) contain an incorrect authorization flaw in app/Http/Controllers/Users/UsersController::update().CVE-2026-86760 · Other software · grokability · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.3
Snipe-IT versions 8.2.0 through 8.6.x (fixed in 8.7.0) contain an incorrect authorization flaw in app/Http/Controllers/Users/UsersController::update(). The single-user edit route assigned the activated field from the request payload before evaluating the canEditAuthFields authorization gate, so an authenticated non-admin user holding the users.edit permission in the target's company scope can submit a full valid PUT request to /users/{id} and toggle the activated flag on any user, including admin and superuser accounts. Deactivating an admin locks that account out of the application until another admin or superuser re-enables it. Only the activated field is affected; username, email, password and permissions remain protected by the gate, no data is disclosed, and the API (Api\UsersController::update) and bulk-edit paths are not affected.

When using the Direct XIP update strategy, the main application image starts other cores (i.e. radio core), based on the currently active slot without additional verification. This may lead to a situation when MCUboot picks different slot for different images (i.e. (a) for the main application and (b) for the radio image), boots the main application (from slot (a)) that afterwards starts the radio image by providing an address of the unauthenticated slot ((a) instead of (b)).

Sep 4, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gtp: serialize PDP context updates PDP contexts can be deleted through GTP_CMD_DELPDP or wCVE-2026-80851 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gtp: serialize PDP context updates PDP contexts can be deleted through GTP_CMD_DELPDP or while the GTP network device is being unregistered. The latter is serialized by RTNL, but the generic-netlink delete path only holds RCU. Running both paths concurrently can therefore make both paths delete the same PDP context. The issue was found through static analysis and reproduced on a KASAN-enabled kernel by a simple two-thread program racing GTP_CMD_DELPDP against RTM_DELLINK: Oops: general protection fault, probably for non-canonical address KASAN: maybe wild-memory-access in range [0xdead000000000120-0xdead000000000127] RIP: gtp_genl_del_pdp+0x1c1/0x420 [gtp] RBP: dead000000000122 The second deletion dereferenced the poisoned hlist pprev pointer. Serialize gtp_pdp_add(), gtp_genl_del_pdp(), and gtp_dellink() with a shared mutex. Keep the mutex held until the final use of a PDP context in the NEWPDP path, and keep the RCU read-side section around the complete PDP context use in the DELPDP path.

Sep 4, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_sync: Fix accept list UAF during suspend hci_update_event_filter_sync() walCVE-2026-80762 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_sync: Fix accept list UAF during suspend hci_update_event_filter_sync() walks hdev->accept_list while sending a synchronous HCI command for each remote-wakeup device. The suspend path holds hdev->req_lock, but accept-list updates are serialized by hdev->lock. Consequently, remove_device() can free the current list entry during the controller wait. Blinko 1.8.7 contains an authorization bypass (IDOR) vulnerability in multiple tRPC procedures (message.list, message.update, message.delete, message.clearAfter in server/routerTrpc/message.ts and conversation.clearMessages in server/routerTrpc/conversation.ts). Although these procedures require authentication, they query the database by caller-supplied conversation or message ID without verifying that the resource belongs to the requesting account. Any authenticated user can therefore read another user's full AI chat history, modify individual message content, and delete or wipe entire conversations by enumerating sequential integer IDs.

Sep 2, 2026Advanced Custom Fields: Extended: Does not verify that the requester is authorized to edit the targeted user account in the update-user action of its front-end Forms module; it only checks a capabilityCVE-2026-12526 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanHigh 8.1
The Advanced Custom Fields: Extended WordPress plugin before 0.9.2.7 does not verify that the requester is authorized to edit the targeted user account in the update-user action of its front-end Forms module; it only checks a capability when the submitted role is administrator or super_admin. On a site that exposes a publicly reachable front-end form whose user-update action targets an existing administrator (a fixed target, or one mapped to a visitor-submitted field) and maps the password to a visitor-submitted field, an unauthenticated visitor can overwrite that administrator's password and take over the account. The default target is the submitting user, so exploitation depends on the form being configured to target another account.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
